[Resolved]  HP India — Bad service

I 'was' a customer of HP for the last 10 yrs.
In 2008 October I bought a HP Pavillion DV 2902 laptop for my Post Graduation purpose. I continuously used it for 2 years.
After that i kept it idle for nearly 3 months.When I turned on my laptop after that I felt some sort of key pressed condition in it.
As I understood correctly the 'Alt' key is in a pressed mode.So when I try to type something 'Shortcut keys' will work.Like if I type 'f' in MS Word the drop down of 'File' menu will work as if I am pressing 'Alt+F'.
I agree that there can be complaints for most of the electronic devices if we dint use it for long time.
Then I called the 'HP India Customer Support' and they told me to contact

I went there and met Mr.Alex P Alex (Customer Support Engineer) and gave my laptop to him for service.
After 3 days he called me and told that the keyboard has to be changed and it'll cost Rs.2600.
I paid it. But even after changing the keyboard it started showing the same problem.
I gave it back again for servicing and when i met him after a week he said he dint find any complaint with it.Unfortunately, when I tried to show that issue, it was working fine(I don't know what he did).
I took it back home.But after a week it started showing the same issue.
But as an Engineer he is supposed to troubleshoot that issue.
Now the warranty period of new keyboard is over and I've to pay again to get it serviced.
All I can do is to throw this stuff to the basket.

I will never ever in my life, purchase a HP product again and I suggest most of my friends not to buy a HP Product only because their servicing is very bad.

H.P. India Ltd — Bad service

Dear sir

I am sorry to say, but you people have shown no professionalism in the way you provide it. Here in Simtec Computeronics Ltd, Dadar, Mumbai, I submitted my Notebook for HDD replacement on 22.11.08. But one and half month has already gone still they are not able to say, when ill get my system. My work has suffered a lot due to this.
Sir, my warranty period will expire on 27 March09, since this is your failure to provide service in time, please extend my warranty period for 2months.
Can you give me my notebook and clarify about the irregularity from your side. you people have not left any option than to file a case in cosumer forum.
please do the needful at earlist.

HP India — Bad Services

I have a HP Pavilion laptop model DV4-1415TU (Serial No.-CND9384JPF) which i purchased it on[protected]. In August, i faced problems regarding battery charging. I have given the laptop in Gurgaon service centre.

I would like to inform you that i am not satisfied with the services provided by HP service centre Gurgaon.
They informed me that there is a problem of motherboard. They have replaced the motherboard and gave back the laptop after 16 days saying that it is now working and battery problem has been resolved.
After receiving it, i used it for 6 days and the same problem occurred again i.e. battery not charging.
I would like to request you for proper diagnostics of my laptop again. Since i am very much upset as far as the services are concerned and suffering since 1 month. Do the needful as soon as possible.
We are using Hp laserjet and deskjet printers in our form from last 9 years in year 2010 we purchased a laserjet m1213nf printer from delhi hp distributer.
And from that day till now we are facing lots of problems and no one care about it wheather it is hp customer care or ho authorized service center. however we are useng about 20 hp printers in our firm still v are facing problems.

dear sir,
i am subhransu parida purchase a laptop on dt 17.02.2011 model hp G42 and now I had already used 11month but previous some days i have face problem for battery backup and i checked up it by hp support assitant which is inbuilt in hp laptop and it shows weak strength of battery after that I had go your service centre at balasore, odissa. but they told whenever it is not fully red we had not able to change the battery but in that time it shows half red, and they dont change the battery. I have not sattisfied his servicing. I[censored] take any action any action before warranty I have pleased ur servicing.

registered a complaint regarding my laptop screen and audio jack on 25th may... now its 5th june(10days)... so service engineer came to rectify my problem... (in warranty also extended warranty to 3 years)

i am facing lots of problem from the day i brought this laptop(Rs73000)... i am student and i cant suggest hp product to my friends any more.
