This is to inform you that the recovery option in my laptop has been deleted. When I approached the Distributor M/s SHAMROCK SYSTEMS,# 3/39, S.V. Patel Salai, Pondicherry - 605 001, they told me that they do not have any such recovery cd with them and informed me to contact you in this regard. Since the you are the authorised manufacturer of the above product, i.e. laptop, I request you to immediately send me the recovery cd and arrange to install the same in my laptop through the local dealer.

      Hi Sir,

      As per the Hp's Wonder Bundle Offer i was supposed to receive my Gifts worth Rs 3500/-.according to the

      update provided i had to register my product online.

      After registering they asked me to send few documents(scan copy of invoice,Bar code and the redemption

      code that i was supposed to get when i register my product) now its been more than 2-3

      weeks but i didnt receive any redemption code yet.

      Please provide an update on this as soon as possible.

        I had purchased the HP Pavilion DV6-1211 AX Laptop from CROMA Lower Parel Mall vide Invoice no.[protected] dated 24/10/2009. i have paid Rs.1800 extra for 2 year extended warranty. Recently I had some problem with the laptop. Hence, I went to SIMTECH COMPUTRONICS Pvt LTD, HP's Authorised Service Center at Dadar which is nearer to my residence.

        The service center has found out that I have taken 2 year exteded warranty from Croma, but clearly mentioned to me that I have to pay for the repairs. Accordingly they have sent me the estimate of Rs.6615/- which I have paid on 26/2/2011 (receipt no. 2695). Being my daughter has to submit her project work to her college, I was not having any option to delay the repairs but to pay the same.

        Subsequestly I went to Croma, but they have denied to reimburse me the amount paid by me as I have not gone to their service centre. I strongly feel that this is clear cheating and extracting an extra amount from the customers while purchasing the new product.

        I hope i will get the justice by this consumer forum

              on 23-june-2010, within one week i start facing problem with my system.In first week i face problem, for that i contact hp service cente at lucknow they were unablable to help me,than i contact hp support center and register my case with
              CASE ID NO:[protected].

              Than i found that my system is showing 2 GB RAM instead of 4GB.

              My hard disk get crash in september,so i contact hp service center at jaipur for both the problem ,my token no was 5044.

              They kept my laptop for one and half month and were not able to solve my problem and every time they give me silly excuses everytime.

              After one and half month they return my laptop but again i face the same problem related to RAM of my laptop and after there service my one pendrive port stop working.

              Again i contact hp service center jaipur.They said it is not hardware problem it is problem related to BIOS ,for that matter they suggested my to contact hp customer care to get BIOS link.than i register my problem with CASE ID NO: [protected]. I did not get any fruitfull response from them.

              Becouse of my studies i was not able to take any action till december and i was not satisfy with the service of jaipur service center.
              To resolve my problem relate to RAM i contact hp service center lucknow my case was register with
              CASE ID NO:[protected].

              They return my laptop after one month with new problem after there service, my laptop fan run continuously and my key board is not properly fitted .becouse i am in jaipur i was not able to take any action against new mistake o lucknow service center.

              On 27 feb 2011 i found that my charger is not working, i submitted it in hp service center jaipur.
              They said that ac adaptor does not belonge to my laptop and they close my case.
              on my enquiry they refuse to tell me ,my ac adaptor serial no or the name of the person to whom the charger belonges, they refuse to help me.
              when i deposited my defected adaptor to jaipur service center on 28 feb 2011 after 2 days they sent me the final answer via e-mail this is as under:-

                I bought HP DESKJET INK ADVANT K 209 a-z about 10 months back from Reliance DIgital, Gurgaon, Ambience Mall. When i had gone to Bangkok recently a small rat had a party for a while residing in the system. It sucked some paper pieces and the system got jammed. I took the system to their repair centre in Sector 14, Gurgaon. To my dismay and surprise, i got the news that the venue shifted to Sector 18 in Electronics city. I went there and got the product examined. The service centre people indulged in arguments and started inventing ways and means to push me out of the centre without repairing the set--citing some silly, unbelievable and outrageously funny reasons such as : you did not the bill, system out of warranty, the rats have eaten away a piece of the cable and we do not have the cable here; the parts the cable that is being eaten away by the rat are available only in Noida, you take the system to another centre in sector 14 etc. When i replied that i have come from the same Sector 14 and they have infact guided me to Sector 18 for getting the piece repaired. I wrote the complaint on a piece of paper and asked the centre in charge Mr. Deepak to sign ( phone no.[protected] stating that the HP centre refuses the repair its own product, bought around 10 months back and refuses the put the brand new piece in place citing some petty excuses. He had the audacity to sign the paper and even handed over the same to me---refusing the repair the HP printer.

At the time of purchase the company offer was Addidas Accesories / Titan watch worth Rs.2,000/.The above laptop seller was told me that the compny will inform you after you registered your name & address through mail. I have also registered it & the Registration No-2163372.Till date I have not yet received any gift coupon.I do not understand whether the seller take such gift or company has cheated me.

                      My self Subhadeep Debnath. I have bought a HP Pavilion dv6 3123tx notebook on 14th January'2011 from
                      1st infotech, Swasti Market, H. G. B Road, Agartala . Since begining I was experiencing some problems with my notebook which i have informed to my purchase point but they have told me to contact with HP customer care. Accordingly, I have contacted with HP customer care namely S. M. infotech, Melarmath, Old Kalibari Lane, Agartala. I have showed my problems to them. I have told them to replace my whole unit as it has multiple issues. But they told me that they didnot find any problem and replaced only a part. But still I am having same problems with my notebook. I have told them to replace the whole unit. But they have told that they can't. I want unit replacement.

                      This happens with hp. I am going to file a complaint by tomorrow. They have said that the part will be replaced but after replacing I found it to be more damaged.

                        I have bought this laptop 4 months back (model no-dv6 2043tx) product no-W2500 PA#A05 and serial number-CNF018213 HS) i have been running around with the lapto to your service centres fromd last month and the only reply i m getting is i cant help... what the hell is happening? is this how you treat your customers? is this how you value them and treat them after buying your products...? my windows is corrupted and all i am asking of you guys to come around and give my laptop in the factory configurations. please help me out as i cannot access my laptop... and windows was corrupted from the day i bought it because only 1 piece(which was being showcased) was left out and i got it whose windows was corrupted.. please help me out and solve my issues.

                          SUB: Defective Cartridge,

                          I have purchased HP Deskjet Printer model F4488. I purchased black ink cartridge 818b on 31st January. On installation, It was found defective as it was showing low ink even before printing 1st page. I approached its replacement center Redington in Baroda on 1st of February and lodged the complaint by completing the formality. I was asked to collect the new cartridge within three to seven days. Then when I approached at the end of week, help desk said they have not received cartridge and will take three to four days more. Again, it was extended by five to six days indicating that replacement has not come from HP. Finally on 17th February, replacement cartridge was issued.

                          However, on defective supplies claim form they indicated as February 17, 2011 as date of claim. When I brought this to the customer service manager, she said this is the way it is because HP has replaced the cartridge today. If required, she asked me to contact[protected]. When I contacted them, the asked to write e-mail.

                          Questions are:
                          Does it take 17 days for simple cartridge replacement?
                          Where is the quality check on original cartridge?
                          Why the authorised center is hiding their inefficiencies and asking customer to sign on wrong complaint date?

                          HP /print cartridges — Defective cartridges not being replaced

                          I purchased HP cartridge worth Rs. 500 but when I opened the packet the cartrige was defective. The circuit chip was torn off.SO I couldnot use that and how to get it replaced? Another one I purchased a few months later , that one worked but now has stopped working , although the ink is there in that. I want both of these cartridges to be replaced.

                                SUBJECT: Complaint regarding non-replacement of HP-Pen Drive (8GB) after a span of more than two weeks

                                I would like to bring to your notice the embarrassment/humiliation undergone for seeking replacement of HP Pen Drive at ‘Digital World’ store on 09.02.2011.

                                I bought an 8GB HP Pendrive from Digital World dealer on 09.08.2010. The invoice no. is 3104, TIN Number: [protected]. The product stopped functioning after a period of about 5 months. Since the product was under 2-years warranty period, so I went to the ‘Digital World’ on 05.02.2011 to get replacement. The owner checked the product and asked me to come on Monday i.e. 07.02.2011.

                                When I called the dealer - Digital World on Tuesday, anticipating that the product may not have come due to dilly-dallying which is often observed in India, the person received my call in a very unprofessional way and asked me in a very rude manner to come on Wednesday after 11AM. When I went to get the replacement on Wednesday along with the bill at 8PM in the evening, the Digital World owner told me that the service centre closes at 5 PM, so replacement can not be given. He asked me to come some other day, and gave me his cell number (written behind the invoice).

                                When I enquired on Thursday 10.02.2011 at 0730PM on his cell no. [protected] about the replacement of my pendrive, again the dealer picked the phone in a very unprofessional way, spoke in a rude manner and asked me to confirm on Saturday i.e. 12.02.2011 and cancelled the call in an unprofessional way, without intimating me of the time. He had switched off the cell, when I made another call just to confirm the time to meet him on Saturday. Later after half a dozen no. of calls at the same no., the person who picked up my call said the intimation has not been received from the company, and asked me to confirm on Monday i.e. 14.02.2011.

                                Today, 15.02.2011 I asked the dealer, if the replacement of hp Pendrive has arrived, to my utter dismay and indignation the dealer asked me to confirm again on Friday, 18.02.2011.

                                This is to remind you that the dealer shows abject unprofessionalism with his customers and lacks good communication skills. I was shocked to observe such an appalling and callous attitude of this dealer towards his customers, which not only spoils his reputation but also tantamount to tarnishing a company's reputation.

                                I urge you look into the matter and take appropriate action against the concerned dealer and demand adequate compensation for the sheer humiliation and embarrassment faced and undergone by the customer in the past few days.

                                I doubt a prompt and immediate replacement of my hp pendrive even after undergoing this embarrassing experience at the ‘Digital World’ dealer's store.

I sent a scanning copy of the Purchase invoice and Bar coded product serial number sticker through mail on 29th dec 2010 to [protected]@solution-intg.com. I had also sent a xerox copy of the same through speed post. But till date i have not got any reply from you. I request you to send / dispatch of entitled gift. The gift voucher no 127284 and registration no 2371910. i had also writtern a letter on 2nd feb 2011. I request that necessary action may be taken in this regard.
