HSBC / Citibank — Wrong inclusion of name

My name appears in Satyam Defaulters List for 2 credit cards belonging to HSBC and Citibank. They also reflect usage at Delhi for the 2 cards. As a matter of fact I have never had credit cards from either of these 2 banks and I was not in Delhi during the transaction dates. I am surprised and disappointed to learn that my name appears in the list.

I can not apply for loans and cards now.All my applications get stuck. I am working with a reputed MNC and all my credentials are in place but for this fiasco. please help.I suspect some fraud or carelessness on part of these banks.

HSBC Credit Card — Completely paid balances but they had levied late payment fee and made it to abig amount for past 2 yrs and constant harassment from local agents

I had owned a gold credit card of HSBC and had paid my balance dues a little late by 15 days, they had charged a late payment fee of rs. 500 for which I ignored, but from 2007 they had made an interest charged for the late payment fee and had brought it to a whooping 20000 and are harassing to pay this amount . Please advice.

HSBC Credit Card — Credit card illegal transactions charged on my account

Sir,
Bank claims a sum 232 ruppees, principal amount from a unknown transaction which became 89000
How can I be held responsible for paying such an amount.

I need assistance from Consumer Forum in ensuring that my family is not harassed due to the dispute between me and the Bank.
Also can the RBI not make it mandatory for the bank to divulge the transaction details of the amount they are charging me.

FYI....

They claim that a transaction happened 23 Nov 2004 of amount principle amount: 11902 and for 5 years they stayed quite allowing the illegal transaction amount to come to approx 89000 and then cause mental harassment to me and my family.

However, by that time I had changed the residing city (chennai) and had no way
to transact with the bank. This is purely bank's negligence and error in their systems or a possible fraud within their employees.
Their agents threatened me to spoil my CIBIL rating and disallow any loans that I could get thereof.
Past 2 months they are making excuse for not sending me the details of the transaction incurred by me.
I had asked for a detailed statement incurred from 2004 March to till date to know their ingenuity.

HSBC Credit Card / 447692999436 3056 — ANNUAL FEE WHICH CARD NOT IN USE

SUB : CANCELLATION OF C/CARD NO.[protected]

Sir,

This is to inform you that I am in receipt of your invoice for the period from 17th Aug 09 to 16th Sept 09 for Rs.1158.15 against Add on card & Primary Card Membership Fee and taxes.

Please note that I am using several cards which is life time free. My total outstanding of yours was paid off in the month of July, 09 and there was a zero balance in my account since last 2 months.

This was also conveyed to Ms. Vaishali & Nikhita with your call centre today and first time in my life I experienced a rude talking person from one of your cancellation department (Mr Sayed). I am so sorry to inform you that I am talking to most of the call centres regarding my credit cards, this was my first experience that such a person talk to the customer very rudly and using threatening language when I refused to continue using your card.

I am getting scared to use your card now. You are requested to kindly deactivate my above cards including add on card, since I am not at all interested to use HSBC card anymore.

Hope you will do the needful and reverse all the debit entry in my above card.

HSBC Credit Card — ADDITIONAL CHARGES (Reference Number 240920096942)

Sir,

I am HSBC credit card holder. i asked the customer care about my outstanding Rs.9110.53. i paid the full amount ie Rs.9120/- by cash and i submitted the broken cards to HSBC customer care (The Manager,Customer Connect,The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, No. 96, Dr. Radhakrishnan Salai,Mylapore,Chennai - 600 004,) by professional courier on 01/09/2009. They received the courier on 02/09/2009. ( I have the proof of delivery).but they said that they did not receive any communication for cancellation. and they are charging annual fee for my card & add-on card which was told to me that no annual fee for that card. (once they had added annual fee & service tax in my previous statement they reversed the entry). now they are saying that it can not be reversed.

In the mean time i paid cash Rs. 2500/- through my assistant. he put the covered cash in to chella mall ATM instead of Bank. Eventhough, they are appointing agencies to collect Credit Card Cheques
in the ATM Centres. The Cash has not been accounted in my account. they are not accepting cash at their bank branches. Who is responsible for the loss of Money?

I have paid More and More amount towards Late Payment fees & Interest.

They should reverse the Annual fee & service Tax and they should give "No due" certificate for me.

Kindly give me redressal for the above grivence

I have held a HSBC credit card for 4 years.I was nearly always in credit with it.Out of the blue my card was stopped as ànd I quote`i no lom´nger meet their criteria`.Whe asked to explain `what criteria and to explain further, the call centre in India said they could not and asked me to contact the hsbc card centre in Brighton uk. I wrote to them for an explination of their actions and guess what? I did not even receive a reply.
I will take this much, much further if required.By the way do I not meet now with your criteria because I have a brain tumour? If this is the case then Shame on YOU!!!

HSBC — Late payment and financial charges

Sir,

This is to inform you that, am holding HSBC Credit Card ([protected]) for more than 3 years and payment track record is on time regularly. In the month of August i have dropped the cheque for Rs.247/- which was due on 28th of August, well in advance before due date. But the same was not cleared till 10th of september. In between i issued fresh cheque of Rs.250/- as the old one was not cleared. Received the next statement in the month of September including late payment charges. When i have spoken to customer care and explaining the whole issue they have agreed to reverse the late payment charges. The due date for the balance amount is 29th Sep 09. Last month i was suffered from viral fever. that is the reason i could not able to make payment on time and i have received call from customer care for the same. i have requested them to arrange an agent for cheque pickup for the total outstanding. The same was done on 2nd Oct. and cheque got realised on 3rd oct. To my surprise recently i have received a message stating that i need to make the payment of Rs.878/- which includes late payment and financial charges for the delay of payment just for 3 days. Today (19th oct) i have spoken to customer care, they said they cant reverse the late payment and financial charges at any cost i need to make payment of the same.

Kindly look into this issue

Ivaluemart Offer With HSBC Card — Goods not received

Sir,
I am an HSBC credit card customer.
I made an telephonic order for a weighing machine, hand held massager,nokia bluetooth headset in the ORDER NO 7138 on the 11 th of May 2009 in the valuemart shopping catalogue sent to me along with the HSBC statement .It is seen in my HSBC statement M [protected]_0509 that VALUEMART had debited the amount from my account on 14th May 2009.bUT TILL TODAY I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY GOODS.
I have already talked to VALUEMART staff(TOLL FREE NO GIVEN IN THE PAMPHLET) on phone on many times and informed that I have not received the goods even after 21 days and it is ridiculous that they have debited the amount from my HSBC Account on 14.05.09. I was told that there is some stock problem and they have not arranged for the delivery of goods till then.

Thereafter the phone numbers are not responding and i'm unable to track them for cancellation of order and refund of my amount.

But since I have not received the above said items till today, I have made an E MAIL request to CANCEL the order and requested to pay back the amount Rs 3349/ to my HSBC A/c without any further delay at their mail ID [protected]@ivaluemart.com.

However it has brought me great displeasure that they have not even bothered to respond to my cancellation order. I demand a receipt for my cancellation order and refund of my money back to my HSBC A/c immediately.

PLEASE DO THE NEEDFULL.

Dear sir,

I have using the hsbc credit card last three years. Iam not mention the card number. My mobile number is [protected]. All the dues are paid. Kindly refer the statement for the month of august & september. The TATA AIG policy dues are also paid for the month of september. After september iam not using my card.

I have try to contact the customer service, but the answering machine says my credit card number is invalid. Not one or two times, more than 20 times.

So, i request you to kindly cancel the TATA AIG insurance and my credit card also.

HSBC Does Not Show My Account Nil Even After Settlement — credit card does not show zero balance and has put me in the defaulter list of cibil

dear sir i would ask ypu to plesae help me from this problem as soon as possible for it has been a mental torcher saying that i am a defaulter in cibil whereas i have cleared my account in the 2006 april 29 with my account no [protected] and add on no is [protected] which has been settled by MR TEJAS SANKHOLKAR the DEBT MANAGER FOR HSBC with the recepit no 1286201 given to me stating the full and final settlement then why i am a defaulter please help me to get rid from this bank as they do not have any manners to talk to the customers their language is of third degree which an educated cannot bear to stand by if my account was not settled then why was i given the fulland final receipt does this means that the bank is cheating the common man please give a reply soon and this matter at the earliest i will be thankfull to you in my whole life please please please please do the need full at the earliest
