[Resolved]  ICICI Bank Account — QAB charges

ICICI SAVING ACCOUNT — charged rs 827

i am account holder of your bank from around feburary, 2008.
my account was opened with reference to my account trading account in SHAREKHAN as zero balance.
and sir, zero balance means zero balance.
so, my account balance used to be around 5k to 2k for around 1 year.
Suddenly, when i deposited around 20k in my account ur bank debited rs 827/- from my account saying it is because of not maintaining quartely balance.
When i talked to the customer care of ICICI bank, they say, that your account is converted to rs 10000 minimum balance.

Sir,
Is this fair to convert customer's account without prior notification?

Sir, i must say that your bank is no.1 bank of india, so keep its place there, because it takes years to earn respect but minutes to go off that respect..

please do something in this regard as earliest as possible.
i want my 827 rs back.

ICICI Bank — Why charge QAB Charges in my a/c

My self Burhan Uddin (Advocate Delhi High Court) using your bank facilities since 8 years and open a saving a/c as minimum 0 balance. I would like to infrom you that the first time at dated 09/07/09, bank deducted Rs. 827/- from my account as QAB charges. I want to know what is QAB Charges..? and why this amount deduct from my account, ? although my a/c as opened by minimum 0 balance.

so that you are requested to refund this amount in my a/c as soon as possible.

your ealier action in this matter shall be highly appreciated.

here i got confused about my icici bank a/c ..i surprised that at present my a/c balance is in minus as uyou had charged QAD. i never got any massege or warning about my level of cash then how can i maintain it propery...

I am Mahipal Dubey from Mathura. Yesterday while going back home, I went to an UBI ATM to withdraw money. I was surprised to see the bank has cut Rs. 500 as QAB charges. Why suddenly this has happened I have no clue. How the bank could charge such an amount with prior information? How can they take away someone else's hard-earned money? I will take steps if the bank does not explain the basis of such action.

DEAR SIR,
I found to my great and terrible surprise that the following charges were deducted from my account:

QAB CHARGES :827, DP CHARGES : 496 PWREISSUE GHRGES: 55 . D/CARD FEES:109

while i can make out the DP charges i cant figure out the rest . I was told by the DP agent that this is the best bank to open a DP and there would be no charges, moreover it would be a zero balance account . Now i wonder what is to be done, the bank is not replying to my mails, only an automated reply comes stating contact that person or the other . Is this how the private banks make money ? If the same is done to the lacs of account holders with icicc they would be making millions from charges alone! No wonder they say sbi is the best!. Can anyone help me to recover the money ?

ICICI bank has gone crazy!
I am not in the country anymore. I am in states! But I see Rs 827 has been cut 3 times from my account! This is absolutely crazy as I never had a agreement for maintaining 5000 deposit. I had this account from almost 5 years but not a single rupee has been cut unnecessarily when I was there in India. This is absolutely crazy and illegally to some extent as they are cutting money from account without giving any information!
I don't know what to do as i can't visit their branch or anything and can only see my money getting deducted every time I check my account online helplessly ! Can any one advice what to do?

ICICI is a looter bank!
RBI should take strict action against this cheater bank who thinks that they can make their fortune out o[censored]nnecessary charges put on poor customers hard earned money!

I am surprised to find that a sum of Rs.1158/- being charged to my savings bank account as QAB Charges.
Please let me know for what this QAB Charges apply.also the bank cannot debit any amount without my consent.

Dear Sir,

I have a saving account in state bank of Saurashtra, Bapungar branch with the name of Mahendra Bhaskarbhai Devre. I have a savings bank account (minimum balance 500 at the time of account opening) and on 01/12/2008 my balance was 590/-.
My account was opened as a salary account. I had switched to other company. So I need to open a salary account in SBI. There is no salary credited in state bank of Saurashtra account.
On January 18,2010 when I checked my account position, its showing a debit of Rs. 590/- from my account without my knowledge. I did not withdraw cash through slip. When I met the bank person, he told me that amount debited for new cheque book charges from your account.
For your knowledge I have note applied for cheque book. And I will not received cheque book till now.

Kindly do the needful for crediting of Rs. 590/- back into my account at the earliest...

Please do some thing in this matter.

without intimation the amount of 827 has been deducted from my account and there is no valid reason for this. how can they charge this amont without intimating me

ICICI bank has deducted QAB charges of Rs 827/-, as it is salary a/c. HOW CAN THEY DEDUCT WITH OUT INTIMATING. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. MY A.C NO IS[protected].

i dont know why but when i goes to atm and chk by balance than my 827 rs was cut as qab charge mine ia a indian army account and there is no charge of any thing then how the bank can cut such stupid charges ...

YOU have to maintain a monthly average balance, which is different for different category of account. This is called QAB and calcualted using your daily balance for every 90 days . FOr some accounts the charges are :
fine :750/-
service tax : 93/- @12.35%.

This is mentioned in the initial accoutn deatils package. SO you dont have any right to complain. THere is a minimum balance, and you have to maintain
