[Resolved]  ICICI Bank Credit Card — Fraud by ICICI bank

I would like to bring to your attention following facts about the unethical and illegal practice of ICICI Credit card division and bank and cheating being done.

A Credit card No - was issued to me on November 2002 which got expired on November 2004 . First The bank charged [debited ] annual fees from my savings bank account towards the annual charges while It was issued a life time free of cost basis and Later this was amount credited to my card account which is still unused and unnecessarily blocked for no fault of mine.

On August 2007 I was shocked to receive a SMS alert informing that Some transaction has been conducted through the card issued to me .Since I had not used this card at all therefore I immediately informed the customer care to block the card and transactions through this card.

I was assured through a telephone call from your customer care division that needful will be done and card has been blocked.

After that my credit card statement issued to me for the period August- September 07 reflected an amount of Rs.17958/ only to be paid to the bank for the transactions supposedly conducted by me . I informed the customer care that these transactions have not been done by me at all and I had already informed customer care about it.

Subsequently a fresh statement reversing the amount of Rs. 17958/ was issued pending enquiry into the matter.

After some time bank issued statement reflecting the amount again which I had not spent through my card.

I had sent many letters and emails to charge back department [ as advised by customer care ]to explain how transactions have been conducted and authorised by the credit card division but no reply on the matter has been sent to me till date about it.

Subsequently I met one of your employee from credit card collection Mr Ankit Goel ( Rohini Delhi Branch )to resolve the issue but he neither resolved nor revert on the case despite of my rigorous follow-up.

Now from January 2008 onward Your recovery agent start to calling me and abusing me for delay payments and on 1 st March 2008 I received an SMS that ICICI bank has transfered an amount of Rs. 20,760.00 from my Saving Bank accountno .This has been done without any information, discussion or knowledge .

ICICI Credit Card — Return of credit card to bank due to irresponsiblty of couriar

Dear sir,

I have applied for ICICI credit card in month of May 2008.and submit all the doc's related to that.and have recived many phone calls for verification from the bank.after that i have recive a phone from ur couriar co. from Navyug market, Ghaziabad in the month of jun 08 and saying that sir ur not avalable at ur home in office hours.then i have told them that i m only avalable till 10'o clock morning and after 6:30'o clock in the evening, but some time i have my touring due to my company in the month,

I request to ur couriar company that i can also collect the card form their office then they refuse my request.

and return the card to the bank, i am anable to contact ur customer care deppartment due to ur bussy phone lines.by exausting all the prosses i m writting a mail to you that any how deliver my creadit card to me.Either it is in ok condition or Distroed condition for my satisfation that it is not in wrong hand.

Again I am requesting please diliver my card to me ASAP.

Dear Sir,

Today I was shocked to see my credit card details which I saw through net banking that there
was a purchase of 62, 861 Rs from my add on card released in the name of my Wife Deepa Mehta..

I would like to draw your attention that I never applied for Add on card and never received that card .
I came to know that there was a request of address change of my account which was never been done by me.

There was four transaction which was done within 3 days by add on card which was never received and used by me and my wife ever.

Total purchase done in two days was around 62, 000 Rs

I would like to tell that I guess DSA of bank are invloved in it and security have many loop holes in ICICI bank.

If these ppl distribute cards like peanuts then this will happen to many more ppl...

Pls take strict action against bank

Credit Card — False Recovery- ICICI Bank Credit Card No. 4477580042336005

I had a credit Card No.[protected]. Operation was normal. One day I got a statement regarding late payment of renewal fees. I immediately opposed their billing and I was told by their customer care that you make a payment and late fees charges will be waived off. I made the payment. Again I received statement late payment without availaing their facility of their card. The customer Care Department kept us assured that extra payment made by us will be adjusted. After that I made some purchase and adjusting our extra payment I paid their dues within the time limit. After 4 to 5 days I checked from our banker(IOB) but that cheque was not produced for payment. I immediately contacted ICICI Bank who advised us to stop the payment of earlier cheque and issue fresh cheque. I followed their instructions and issued cheque of PNB. This cheque was cashed. After taking their dues they again produced our earlier cheque which was stopped by my banker IOB. After they slapped fine of cheque bouncing without considering the fact that they do not have a single penny due on me. I wrote to ICICI Bank. After that they started slapping fine on my card and I strongly opposed and clearly told them to correct their records failing which I will discard their credit card. I discarded their Credit Card and returned to them. Today I got a call from Mrs. Heena Desai who introduced hereself as Recovery Officer of RBI threatening me to declare defaulter if I do not pay Rs. 1, 504.00 to ICICI Bank immediately. I pleaded her for cosideration of my case but she was issuing Talibani Order. I have two letters in my possession giving all facts. Please guide me what to do with this type of arm twisting of ICICI bank.

ICICI Credit Card — Receiving bills even

Dear Sir/Madam,
I has canceled and had made the final settelment of the credit card with ICICI Bank in the month of May itself. I have a settelment letter also with me.

This i had to follow up by myself by calling the collection agency several times and and ultimately got the same settled. Now i find they are sending the bills every month asking me to make the payment and if delayed they will report to CBIL.

How to stop this, when i call up the customer care they want me to call and follow up myself which means clearly that they are not ready to help the customers

I want to sue the higer up as this has become a mental torcher and agony for me..

ICICI Credit Card — Unavailable of Statement and Adding Extra Charges

I have late received icici credit card statement every and again & again some charges are included and add in my statement. i will not be responsible for that payment because i not pay my credit card balance amount togetherr and with see of statement. i pay just on the basis of calculation than after some due date i received your credit card statement. so please check and try that these type of problem cann't come again in front of me. and send me new revised statement excluding charges my Creidt Card No. [protected] please urgent verify and solve my problem immidiately

ICICI Bank Credit Card — Pathetic Customer Service

I am a ICICI Credit Card Customer, i had dropped my credit card pymt chq before due date, but due to some messup from ICICI bank neither it came to my bank not recd by icici bank, now i have got charged for Late Pymtn charges, i am trying to contact ICICI bank call centre, from last 10 days buut always found system crash problem... call center executive are like god to me and every now and then they are making me call to call centre, stating that the system will be up in next 1 hr. I have weasted almost Rs.100/- in followup... there is no customer services as such with ICICI bank, neither they answer call properly nor answer there email... its better not to take ICICI credit card.
i want to know, how to get my credits card current statement about my bills and all.
this is my humble request to you, to please help me out as soon as possible about my question that i have asked.
Me to am suffering with the atrocities the ICICI is bestowing on the clients. I was charged a funny charge ranging from Re. 600 to Re.1500 as " excess usage fee" I objected and requested to them to correct, finally when there was no response to my telephonic/Courier/mails I finally stopped paying and am still requesting them to correct but instead of corrections they have blocked my saving account, and the most funny part is there is no response from them. I think ICICI has started a new way of collecting ransom from the people.

ICICI Bank — Savings account charged automatically for fraudulent Credit card

I have a Savings account and credit card for ICICI Bank. On 18 July, 2008, my savings account was debited Rs. 21312.83 without any prior intimation or authorization. This was for my credit card on which the bank had levied numerous fraudulent & inappropriate charges. Only Rs. 7280.83 was the purchase total.
On calling the call center, the executive refused to do anything. I managed to speak to the floor manager but she happened to be as "fake" and unhelpful as others. I was promised that I will get a call from her supervisor on July 21 but there is no call. Further, my credit card has been blocked so that I cannot call them back.
This is a total fraud on part of the bank. All reading, do not operate with ICICI bank - they can deduct any money from anywhere for anything and then block your account so that you cant do anything. I will however, take this matter up till the highest level possible.

I own a credit card no.[protected] which was issued on 08/07, by Big Bazar.
I have never opted for my NDPL billing automatically through credit card. Even I'm not aware when the person has tick that option while filling the form for the credit card.
The problem is my NDPL bill was paid through credit card in the month of January (this was not intimated to me). Even I had paid that bill myself. After paying the bill I started getting calls and got a courirer that I have to pay the particular amount with late fee. I had called your customer care number and talk to the lady there. She explained me everything and deleted the late payment fee. I paid the amount then.
After that I again got a courier that there is a late payment due. I had called the customer care and she forced me to pay the amount. She sent some person from Jhandewalan Branh to receive the amount. I paid the amount unwillingly. He said that now there are no dues left .

Again after some days I got another courier that I have some amount due with you.

This is total harassement which I am suffering with this credit card.

ICICI Bank Credit Card — credit card payment deatiles

Hai my name is balamurali for erode.your bill statement is missmach for my useage.your sent to exces amount in my statement.but i you icici credit card is very carful in minmum amount.but i have not outsting amount.but you sent to my out stating amount is Rs.8576.68/Only. but this is worng statiment. every month i pay due in 2nd or 3ed. i see tha your letter, i am very shoked.plz retifi the my promble.than only i pay the amount.other wise i complined to case of 420 in icici bank. and this is my contract cell no :[protected].

ICICI Bank Credit Card — PAthetic response to Customer Complaint

Hi,

I have been using a Credit Card for sometime and always used to pay the charges in time with full value. However, for the past three -4 months, they have been adding Late fees charges and Interst. For the Last month, they have not even deducted the payments made.

Even after realizing their mistake, they did not bother to send me the revised statement to make the payments. However, they are not bothered even after writing to them 20 days back.

I am waiting for 2 more days before Finaling going for a court case.

ICICI Bank is charging high Interest charges for Due amounts. They are charging interest on the basis of totel amount due in the previous statement although i have paid 70% amount before due date. still interest have been charged on total amount for total credit period instead of remaining period.
First of all when a new person take a credit card all of your agents of ICICI lombard take the details of your credit card holder and called them and make them fool by their humble request of thdir lady caller. I have received such type of call from your executives of Hydrabad that there is a great opportunity for you from our ICICI lombard. But I refused them. After a long request from their lady caller that before refusing our offer please see our terms and conditions which we will send to your doorsteps within one week. After reading all terms and conditions If you feel benificial it to your self then we will call to you for final decision then your policy will start on that day and first premium will be debited from your credit card. I agreed and allow them to send. Then they asks me to send all the details to you as per our rules and regulations you have to clear a simple inquiry from our head office. In that inquiry they will ask you that you have clear all the terms and conditions about the policy and you have to answer yes otherwise they will cancel the request. So i agreed. But I asked them that these type of inquries should be after the final decision. But they told me that this is the bank's conditions to send the details to customer. Then final call received by myself and they asked me as i have previously told by your executives and i answered them positivly YES as I was instructed.
But After the final verification i received the message of transaction in my credit card account. Thus they frod with me and made me fool. This is not fare for your bank that they are making fool their own credit card holders. As I am the customer of ICICI bank for last four years. I am also a customer of ICICI lombard medical insurance.

Please take strict actions against these type of executives of agents who are reducing your customer satisfaction.

I am very fed up withl all these and now wanted to get my money back which is 5800 rupees.

I have also complaint in your ICICI lombard customer care but they told me that you have to pay a sum of rupees 3200 to cacel your policy.

Please let me know what i have to do. As I am innocent and now I have to pay 3200 rupess for such type of FROD.

Hi, I'm Pawan Kaushik, Lived in Noida. My credit card no. is [protected]. I'm your valuable customer. my last bill was wrong and I make a complaint against it and no action taken from your side. Last time I purchased 500 Rupees petrol from Ruchika Filling Station New delhi. In my this amount was two time added in same date. I have a byke, it is not possible that i can fill 1000 rupees petrol in sinble time in a byke. How it is possible. I submitted my last all amount time to time. In present bill you are not correct my billing amont and you charged interest also. I am not able to pay wrong bill. Secondly i am using your visa bill pay service for my vodafone delhi no.- [protected]. I want to stop this service right now. And also i want to block my credit card else correct my bill amount. I am not want to used your ever cheap, cheap, cheapest service and cards.

Do this complaint right now else I will be strictly goes through Distt. Consumer Forum.

ICICI Credit Card — excess charged than actual amount

I possess a credit card of this bank called icici, i got a statement for six months, the first statement itself shows a previous balance of Rs.982 /- when i am using it for first time, they have also charged a 100 rupees for late payment and also an amount of Rs.2000 in excess when the total bill amount as per my repeated calculation comes to only 2400 totalling to an amount of 4200/- ( as per their calculation) this is radiculous and professional way of looting a customer who likes to maintain a credit card perfect ly, so iam cancelling this card and sugesting other customers who go through this mail to cancell a icici card if possess OR THEY WILL SQUEEZE YOUR POCKET AWAY

ICICI Bank Credit Card — CREDIT CARD FRAUD & ILLEGAL DEBIT FROM ICICI BANK ACCOUNT

OnAugust 21, 2008) during morning(11:30am) I went to the ICICI Bank (Hajratganj, Lucknow) with a letter stating that I m the holder of the account in your branch & I found that without my authorisation I found the deduction of Rs11395 from my ICICI savings Bank & would want the matter to be explained by her.
The lady told me that we are not authorised to accept any complaint even it is the Savings bank issue from the customer & refered me to contact Mumbai but she didnot provide me with any Mumbai contact detail.
I have every right to ask about my money & to know the safety of money.
I am extremely harrased by the bank manager regarding the same.I had to run from pillar to post in that ICICI branch to get my justice which I finally didnot get.

My complaint is attached with the mail.I am holding a credit card of ICICI Bank..On February 1, 2008, my card had fraudulant transaction of Rs8745 from Home Solution, Electronics Bazaar(Pantaloon Group, Shipra Shopping Mall, Ghaziabad by someone whom I dont know.I had taken the copy of all details and proof of Transaction slip from the merchant.A proper police complain was also made at local Police station on February 2, 2008.The matter was forwarded to the ICICI BANK with the complaint (SR[protected].After some months, bank came out with reply that the case went in favour of the BANK.I asked several times from the bank to provide the copy of the report & transaction which I never did.The bank never provided the details.Instead the BANK sent Recovery people to my house 5 times & they behaved rudely.We told them that we are ready to face the matter in the court for the justice.Now all of a sudden the BANK deducted Rs11395 from my savings account unauthorised way without my consent.The bank never called me nor they intimated about this action by any correspondence.

I request you to take the matter & give me proper advice to get the justice.

ICICI Bank Credit Card — Lien Account without information

I am a credit card holder of ICICI Bank from last 8 months, from first month i was not recieving any statement from bank, numbers of time i complaint to customer care, but after a long time i recieve a statement from bank with lots of charges i that. even i had requested customer care to waive that charges, but no result... My actual outstanding was Rs.22000/- but bank increased this outstanding to Rs 26500. even without informtion bank had deducted rs 13000/ from my saving account.
I suggest to u guys that pls dont open any saving account in ICICI Bank.

Credit Card — credit card blocked still amount debited in salary account

Sir,

I was having ICICI credit card No. [protected]. i have blocked this card long back. around 2 years have already passed. But till today Rs. 100/- is debiting in my salary account which is in ICICI again . i have got another ICICI credit card and i am using it now. i no longer need the old card and i am not using and making any transactions in that. So please close the account of that card and let me know by mailing to my email ID. An early action is highly solicited.

I have been trying to reach the ICICI call center for the last few days. Its impossible to get through at any time of the day. After entering all the details I get a recoded message "Due to high call volumes we will be unable to attend to your call". I tried the Karnataka number and stayed on hold for 20 minutes before disconnecting. Not to mention the many times the agents have picked up the call and disconnected. The one time I did get through the system was down and I could not get anything done. The service is PATHETIC. I am forced to use the service because it is our salary account. Someone needs to be accountable for this.
