[Resolved] ICICI Bank Credit Card — Fraud by ICICI bank | |
I would like to bring to your attention following facts about the unethical and illegal practice of ICICI Credit card division and bank and cheating being done. A Credit card No - was issued to me on November 2002 which got expired on November 2004 . First The bank charged [debited ] annual fees from my savings bank account towards the annual charges while It was issued a life time free of cost basis and Later this was amount credited to my card account which is still unused and unnecessarily blocked for no fault of mine. On August 2007 I was shocked to receive a SMS alert informing that Some transaction has been conducted through the card issued to me .Since I had not used this card at all therefore I immediately informed the customer care to block the card and transactions through this card. I was assured through a telephone call from your customer care division that needful will be done and card has been blocked. After that my credit card statement issued to me for the period August- September 07 reflected an amount of Rs.17958/ only to be paid to the bank for the transactions supposedly conducted by me . I informed the customer care that these transactions have not been done by me at all and I had already informed customer care about it. Subsequently a fresh statement reversing the amount of Rs. 17958/ was issued pending enquiry into the matter. After some time bank issued statement reflecting the amount again which I had not spent through my card. I had sent many letters and emails to charge back department [ as advised by customer care ]to explain how transactions have been conducted and authorised by the credit card division but no reply on the matter has been sent to me till date about it. Subsequently I met one of your employee from credit card collection Mr Ankit Goel ( Rohini Delhi Branch )to resolve the issue but he neither resolved nor revert on the case despite of my rigorous follow-up. Now from January 2008 onward Your recovery agent start to calling me and abusing me for delay payments and on 1 st March 2008 I received an SMS that ICICI bank has transfered an amount of Rs. 20,760.00 from my Saving Bank accountno .This has been done without any information, discussion or knowledge . CreditCard — late fee reversal
my card no:[protected]for the month of dec08, against which a late payment of Rs.400 has been charged. The due date was 13/12009 and my cheque no bearing dated 10/1/2009for Rs.4000 and odd was duely deposited in your coimbatore branch.As the cheque was deposited before the due date why has the late charges of Rs.400 been charged. I have also called customer care but, no proper response was given.
Kindly reverse the late charges as my outstanding on the credit card is only Rs.1000 failing which I would be forced to stop using the card.

ICICI Bank Credit Card — EXCESS PAYMENT CHARGED
I WAS USING ICICI BANK CREDIT CARD FROM PAST 7 YEARS THERE WERE IN BETWEEN EXCESS CHARGES MADE TO ME FOR THE PURCHASES NOT MADE BY ME. I HAD REPORTED THE MATTER TO THE BANK CREDIT CARD DEPARTMENT. ICICI Bank Credit Card — Dues Statement even after full payment
had availed a credit card of ICICI Bank and used for prchase of items worth Rs.711.00 for which had paid Rs.711.00 by Cheque on the due date after which I received a statement for Rs.233.00 cash but still I am receiving the statement claiming dues. Now I have received a letter claiming dues of Rs.243.30 As I have already paid the dues so I can not understand why am I being harassed over phone to pay the dues.I am a housewife and I am now a days receiving calls from collection department threatening to take action if I do not pay the dues.
i want to cancell my credit card ...and no one is answering in the costemer help...i m tired of payin the bills as payments is done automatically pls reply me soon

One year before in received a call for purchase of ICICI Credit card i told them that i will have to think and then i will confirm but after 2 weeks they delevired me a credit card without any application signed by me nor i have submitted any document for that. On asking them they told me as i have a saving account with ICICI bank we have issued it to you. My query is whether it is valid if no what can i do in this regard.

ICICI Credit Card — I got a bill of 86,000 from ICICI bank for un used card.
Hello Sir/Madm,I took credit card from ICICI bank 2 years back. But i had never used my card not even opened envelop. I also have pin of my card with me.
Even though suddenly i got bill of 86, 000/- .
I complained in ICICI and blocked my card.
ICICI customer care people said that bank will investigate about this.
but i didn’t get any update so again i send mail to bank . but they r saying that result is in bank favor and you have to pay the bill. I tried to contact with pune branch, but they are saying all this process of investigation happens from mumbai. and we don’t know any thing. Better you contact to only customer care.
Now i am helpless. no body is listening to me and each month i am getting bill from ICICI credit card to pay the bill.
Please help me in this issue,

We have received this card in 2006.But till date we never received the statement of account. In 2006 we apply only for SBI card. But we receive this card also. I thought some one has making us fool. We Just use Rs250/- for filling the petrol. But I call the customer care about the statement I want to clear the account but they never send me the statement.
After six month ICICI BANK issue me a new card. I am not understood what this is when I am not apply for any card then how it can be happened. Again I try that card against filling the petrol that one is blocked by the bank in 2006.
Now in 2009 I come to know that the bank put a Lombard Insurance on this. How it can be possible. When my card is blocked in 2006. How they get the payment for 2006 to 2008. When we never give them any authority to make my insurance. We never receive any insurance paper also.
I want to clear this immediately to have a good relation with the bank.
