[Resolved] ICICI Bank Credit Card — Fraud by ICICI bank | |
I would like to bring to your attention following facts about the unethical and illegal practice of ICICI Credit card division and bank and cheating being done. A Credit card No - was issued to me on November 2002 which got expired on November 2004 . First The bank charged [debited ] annual fees from my savings bank account towards the annual charges while It was issued a life time free of cost basis and Later this was amount credited to my card account which is still unused and unnecessarily blocked for no fault of mine. On August 2007 I was shocked to receive a SMS alert informing that Some transaction has been conducted through the card issued to me .Since I had not used this card at all therefore I immediately informed the customer care to block the card and transactions through this card. I was assured through a telephone call from your customer care division that needful will be done and card has been blocked. After that my credit card statement issued to me for the period August- September 07 reflected an amount of Rs.17958/ only to be paid to the bank for the transactions supposedly conducted by me . I informed the customer care that these transactions have not been done by me at all and I had already informed customer care about it. Subsequently a fresh statement reversing the amount of Rs. 17958/ was issued pending enquiry into the matter. After some time bank issued statement reflecting the amount again which I had not spent through my card. I had sent many letters and emails to charge back department [ as advised by customer care ]to explain how transactions have been conducted and authorised by the credit card division but no reply on the matter has been sent to me till date about it. Subsequently I met one of your employee from credit card collection Mr Ankit Goel ( Rohini Delhi Branch )to resolve the issue but he neither resolved nor revert on the case despite of my rigorous follow-up. Now from January 2008 onward Your recovery agent start to calling me and abusing me for delay payments and on 1 st March 2008 I received an SMS that ICICI bank has transfered an amount of Rs. 20,760.00 from my Saving Bank accountno .This has been done without any information, discussion or knowledge . however i have stiil not recieved my credit card machine and i have been charged rs. 239 transaction charges ..god knows for what...
the guy who opened an account is mr.nagesh who is was longer an employee with icici but still opened our account and kept us in the dark
our problem was then trasferred to mr.virender from icici ph no.+91 [protected]
no body is responding
also my account was opened in the koperkhairne bank inspite of my office being 1 minute walking distance from vashi branch without our knowledge and approval
i am disgusted
please call [protected] and helpme

I have written so many mails to them but they are not giving any response now.I have also got no dues from ICICI where they have written that no amount is pending and all payments have been made without any settlement.

ICICI Credit Card — Credit Cards dues deducted from account
Dear Sir.I would like to bring to your notice that i am holding ICICI credit card No. xxxx xxxx xxxx x212 and same is not being used by me since 2007.
There were Rs. 9059/- pending due on my credit card. All the pending dues are decuted directly from my account in May 2008.
Even after deducting dues from account and card is not being used again i am getting calls from ICICI regarding the pending dues left on my account.
Kindly forward my complaint to concern ICICI officer of earliest addressal of my complaint.

all the bills have been promptly paid within time whenever credit card was used and there are no dues as per my statement. but I receive phone calls that some amount is due without furnishing the details. i therefore make it very clear that i have no dues to be paid to icici bank under credit card. the concerned authorities are advised to confirm to my email addressICICI Credit Card — Blocking of Salary Account for Credit Card due
I have an account no[protected] with ICICI Bank. They had issued one Kingfisher credit card linked with this account. I have till date not received any statement from this CC. Hence it was a surprise when they blocked my account and took some 9000/-(approx) from my account. Then I got in touch and asked them why. At this point I came to know that there was a card issued on my name. When I refused to pay for the card which I had not received they went ahead and blocked 30,000/- from my present salary account[protected] with the same bank.My email & mobile number is updated with these accounts, but strangely they never got in touch or informed me and blocked the account only after a significant amount of interest got attached with the card. If they had got in touch when the first bill itself had not cleared I could have told them at point itself to block the card.

ICICI Bank Credit Card — deficiency in service
Pre-clouser of Credit card loan amount- card no. [protected]Based on the monthly satement sent by the Bank for the statement date 18th Jan,2009. which showed a balance amount of Rs. 1,88,026/- . Accordingly, I had drawn a cheque No.196253 dated
4.1.2009 drawn on ICICI Bank for Rs. 1,80,000/- sent the same to The Manager, ICICI Bank Credit Card Division, Empire Complex, 2nd Floor, 414, SB Marg, Lower Parel, Mumbai 40013 on 4.1.2009 through Registered Post Acknowledge Due, and the same was acknolwedged by the Bank and sent back the Acknowledgement Card duly signed, being the full and final settlement of the caredit card loan payment.
Even after 4 to 6 months have lapsed, the Bank did not present the cheque. When I enquired through telephone, there was no response from the Bank regarding the deposit. They had instructed the ICICI bank Branch at Shivananda Circle, Kumara Park, Bangalore to debit my SB account with a sum of Rs. 89.298.45 and the same has been drawn towards credit loan account.When I enquired about the same they said for 6 months due+interest+service charges+ over due charges+service tax etc are debited and only a megere amount had been taken into credit card loan amount.Inspite of my repeated telephone calls to deposit the heque they never responded properly. Who is the responsible for this lapse ? for which I am penalised for other account head and debited. Again on 17.7.2009 I had drawn a cheque for Rs. 90,000/- drawn on Canara Bank, cheque No. 934381 sent to The Nodel Officer, ICICI Bank, Credit Division, Hyderabad through Regd Post Ac/Due and the same was acknowled by returning the acknowledge card. But till till date the cheque is not presented to the Bank. It shows that their deficiency of service in cheating the public by not depositing and claiming balance due under various heads. The principle amount shall remains the same, till no action is taken for this. Therefore, I request you to registger the claim and issue a suitable letter, to bank and mark a copy to me.
