My Name is Surendrajeet Mundhe. I am resident of India . I have a personal bank account with ICICI bank at baddi , Himachal Pradesh branch , account number is[protected]. I have debit card issued by ICICI bank , card number [protected]. This debit card is registered by UNKNOWN person to PAYPAL website, and 22 purchase transactions were done on 15-03-13 . Transaction numbers are as below.

Even after immediate (within 10 minutes after transaction) action ( instruction and notification to ICICI and PAYPAL ), I did not get refund of the disputed amount , I have suffered through a lot of mental stress , lived 15 days without money with my wife and 2 year old kid.
ICICI Bank
1. At morning on 15.03.2013 at 5.09 am ( Indian time ) I received 22 SMS to my cell phone registered with ICICI, ending all amount in my bank account and only 300 Rs remained Approx. 12500/- Rs. used for purchase.
2. Within 10 min. I blocked my ICICI account with help of ICICI customer care and instructed them to stop pay to merchant site.
3. Acknowledge for complaint by ICICI is received to me after some days through post.
4. Again few days after a letter came by ICICI mentioned that , “we remind you that debit card is your personal property and it is your responsibility to protect your card .”
5. If i am taking service of ICICI bank they should have stopped payment to merchant site immidiately after my instruction.
6. If anybody (including me )registering my bank account no with any website (paypal) ICICI should notify me on registered cell number of mine with ICICI bank or by sending unique verification code to my cell phone they should verify the legacy of the person .
7. Even for small transaction ICICI bank notifying me then why ICICI bank not informed me while my bank account is getting registered to the (PAYPAL)website?
8. How the 22 transactions of purchase were made within 51 seconds? first message of notification of purchase transaction came on my cell number at time 5.09.09 am and 5.10.00 am , is within this time only all transactions were done?
9. Atleast some mechanism shall be there to protect us if we are taking service of ICICI , how they can deny the responsibility?
PAYPAL
1. I did contact to PAYPAL through customer care , Immediately to stop deleivery of purchase.
2. I and Baddi police contactacted to PAYPAL through customer care asked the address of the person, given to deliver the purchased material through this 22 transactions. Customer care executive said that we blocked the delivery of material , we will investigate and refund if the transaction is fraud.
3. I written mail to paypal by providing all details (with complaint registration no. given by ICICI and copy of police complaint ) and I declared all above transactions are fraud and this is my account.
4. After some days I received one way mail that because of lack of more evidence we are unable to process your claim. No more evidence is asked to me or even I think no investigation is done.
5. This website is not under monitory authority of INDIA , why then PAYPAL has have permission to do the business in INDIA?
6. Why PAYPAL have not given address used to delivery of purchase made by using my ICICI bank account, even asked by baddi police.

My complaint ref no to communicate with ICICI bank is SR[protected]
And complaint ref no to paypal is my ICICI bank account no.[protected].

If needed any further evidence i will provide.

PAYPAL is a scam, working with hackers to take your money. you should have opened case in consumer court against PayPal and ICICI.

what is a status on your complaint ?
I also faced Similar Problem. I lost almost 5000 INR through a Fraudulent transaction that is done through PayPal account linked to My ICICI Bank debit card. The security system is not good either at ICICI or PAYPAL or Both.

When a unknown person registers with PayPAL, PayPAL should allow the transaction only after verifying the customers. The initial transaction of $1 is done by PayPAL (Refunded later) and asks for a PIN confirmation from the bank statement. The person who is going to register gets that PIN number from bank statement (From the $1 Transaction). The fraud person should enter that in the PayPAL site by getting the PIN from account statement to become a trusted customer of PAYPAL. Now,

1) First of all the person had the Debit Card No (Hack 1) to register with the PAYPAL. How he gets the Card Number with security code?
2) How does a person get the Pin From the Bank transaction (Hack 2), because it requires account credential?
3) Or Is PayPal allowing registration of account without Pin Number and allowing transaction from customers who is not trusted?

I would suggest, closing the back account and switching to some other bank if it happens twice. Also make sure to provide your card details only to a trusted sites.

    I received 2 credit cards from ICICI bank.While using I found that the cards could not be used as while swipping it came as error and
    another time i found i could use it.I have not received any statment till now.
    Another problem is after the collection agent collected the amount for another card he issued a receipt and said the nodues
    receipt would be handed over in 3 days time,but whenever i tried to contact him he ould not answer or disconnect the
    call.The agent is Satissh kumar,agency name HTACE , mobile [protected].need your guidance.

    ICICI Credit cards — DELAY CHARGES STATEMENT AS ON 14 JUNE

    MY CARD NUMBER IS [protected]. I have practically stopped using your card because inspite of my prompt payments every month i am slapped with a delayed payment fine of 400/ this month my transaction is of 540 /only but yet again i have been charged an addl 400/. PLEASE CANCEL

    MY CARD after five years of being with your ORGANISATION i do not want to do any business with your company also i do not find any drop boxes in the ATM's as was there earlier so now i have to go to a bank to drop a Cheque. please close my account. COLONEL R N ISSAR

      I had done an online NEFT txn #[protected] for which it is a NEFT txn between icici and andhrabank of amount 3000 and the amount is not deposited to the concerned but have been debited from mine (icici) after seeking customercare for several times they are not giving positive response and they are holding at there account without giving any answer.

        Hi , I got a SMS on 22Jan2013 stating a transaction was done on my credit card [protected] at Walmart USA for USD52.73. The same day i complained to customer care advising on the fraud on the card as i was in india and the customer care guy confirmed me that merchant has not claimed the amount and i dont have to worry and the transaction wont be billed to me. I asked him if he wanted some details from me he said not required they will takecare in 45days and he blocked my card. I liked the great customer service from ICICI bank. I was shocked when i started receiving calls from ICICI Bank investigation team asking for documents to prove i was in india at the time of transaction and asking for a dispute form to be filled which was not informed by the good service executive while placing the complaint. I filled the form and gave photocopy for my old passport and the new passport as well. And i received a bill in month of Mar2013 asking to pay the amount. when i called the customer care again on 3April2013 they told customer is liable to pay the amount and when i requested them to connect to dispute department they told me to call in the morning to speak to them. I called in the morning and the dispute department was not ready to take my call and also not ready to reveal on what basis i am liable to pay. Not sure if it helps writing in this forum. Please help.

        im Jayapal from Chennai, i have used ICICI Credit card more than three year in between i had call ie to get an new icici credit card i ve told them already im having an card but they told without annual fees and the new card also having the credit limit of same as the old card it is 40, 000.00 Rs . After receiving the new card i used for purchase but i have not able to use the card. Immediately i called the customer care they told the second card which i used is add on card only so the same day i have asked them to block the card, they told with in 1 hour this card will block and you can use the primary card ending with the number of 6000. so i have used the card till now, but the annual fees you have send me unknowingly for the blocked card ending with 8015 and another one card ending with 4499. if you have any doubt you can see that i have not used the cards yet.in that condition what should i do, i don't know please make arrangement to solve my problems to avoid legal action from my side. thank you, my contact number is-[protected] and [protected].

        At present I am in New Jersey USA my son’s House.Yesterday I received e mail that a log in password has been sent to my mobile no.[protected] but I did not made any request .I immediately called customer care no.[protected] and inquired about my account. They told me that my account RS.20000 five times debited by the facility UPI or UIP.As I have not made any request for fund transfer or new password I immediately registered fraud through your customer care No.[protected] and registered a complain no.[protected]. She told me that she can not make stop payment but amount has gone to some account xxxxxxxx4711.I have already cancelled my internet banking and blocked my debit card [protected]

        Now I request you to look into the matter and try to stop the payment and catch the culprit.

        As soon as I came to know that Rs. 100000 balance reduced to my account I went to my online demat account and transferred Rs. 435000 to purchase shares from secondary market and like that I bloked fund in my saving account.

        I have already bloked my internet banking and debit card but you also verify that it is bloked.

        The story is that as I went to USA I registered my brother Airtail Mobile no.[protected].The culprit had hecked my brother mobile and requested a new password and transferred the amount.My brother also received that phone on the same day from Airtail to change the chip for the mobile and his mobile stopped working from that day.

        As I am in USA I authorize my brother to inquire and file the FIR to Borivali Police station. So Please co operate with my brother .Mr. Mukesh Ramanlal Dekhtawala
        and give him the copy of my statement which shows the fradulant withdrawal to file the complain at Borivali Police station. My USA mobile no. is[protected] and land line no.[protected]

        Please co-operate and help me for recovering my amount.

          HI,

          i Made a Transaction for Rs 5000, But Cash Dispensed from the ATM is 4100.(900rs Less)

          The order in which money came out is (1*100)=100 + (3*1000) = 3000 + (10*100) = 1000 (Total 4100).

          i think the guy who feeds the tray, has intentionally fed 100rs not in 1000rs tray. so i got 100 rs instead of 100. (am wondering how 100rs not can come in between two 1000rs note if its an ATM Machine error, so its confirmed that the person who feeds the note is culprit)

          i raised the on-line complaint (SR[protected], With out contacting me they closed the service request saying that "We are unable to reverse the transaction as it has been paid completely"

          i have all the Currency numbers & Also Transaction receipt.

          Please any one guide me shall i book the case on these guys.

          because i dont want some should undergo same problem. any suggestions i[censored] have contact me @ below mail Id.

          ICICI Bank — Less cash paid at ATM

          I withdrew cash of rs 3000 from ICICI atm at R.S.Puram, Coimbatore on 23 May 2009.I was dispersed on Rs 2600 {500*4 and 100*6 Note-01 Rs100 note found inbetween first 500 note and the second 500 note.The security Mr.Ravikumar and one more ICICI acount holder Mr.Srinivas was witness.Since the bracnch was closed logged a written complaint in the serurity book also phone banking complaint ref#[protected] with Mr.Bhaskar.Next day visited RS Puram branch who checked the security register and confimed that even security has logged a complaint mentioning short cah dispersement.They said i should log complaint with P/Banking who would check with RSP branch and Rs 400 would be credited.I have raised an exclation complaint on 28 May 2009 # 10757393.I have spoken to Mr.Bhaskar on 23 May, Mr.Chirag on 27 May, Ms.Sony & Mr.Renuka on 28 May & Mr.Chandan, MrPhani and Mr.Ranjeet on 30 May 2009 but all invein.
          They are passing buck and saying visit nearest branch.Rs400 is a small amount but it is wrong.Moreover the officials are not listening to myside instead they say that the above transaction was completed and they have closed the complaint.Transaction was complete but the disbursement was wrong.I smell some big racket in this, request to investigate.

          ICICI — Got less money in ATM

          Hi ,

          on 31-Aug-09, i have withdrawn Rs.11000 from ICICI ATM, but i got only 10200.
          The problem was i got 19Nos* 500currency and 7 Nos* 100, i found two notes of 100 currency instead of 500currency in between 500 currency notes.

          i contacted branch and Customercare but of no use, they always send messages saying it has been fully according to our records.

          finally i lost 800 + going to bank + other phone call charges.

          ICICI Bank — non payment of cash from ATM

          I tried to withdraw cash rs 8000/ and Rs 5000/- from my account no[protected] ICICI bank through the facility provided by PNB Bank on 2nd Dec 2010. However no cash was received by me and the transaction slip showed an amount of Rs 10000/- which was never made. The bank officials are informing me that the transaction was successfully completed which is not correct i never received the cash and the transaction mentioned on the slip is also wrong. Please look into the matter urgently.
          iT IS VERY SURPRISING THAT NO STEPS HAVE BEEN TAKEN TILL DATE. THERE ARE NEARLY 1000 COMPLAINTS REGISTERED AGAINST ICICI BANK ARE THERE ANY SOLUTIONS ALSO ??? IT IS OUR HARD EARNED MONEY THAT HAS BEEN LOST DUE TO ELECTRONIC FAILURE IS NO ONE ANSWERABLE FOR THIS

          ICICI Bank — received less money from ATM

          i am a user of icici bank and credit card.I withdrawn Rs 10,000 on Jan 17, 2011 from Barclays ATM but received only 9600 bugs that is Rs 400 less, i filed the complain with icici customer care the very same day and service request no was SR[protected] and was told that it wud be resolved in 12 days. on 29 jan i checked the status of my complaint and found that my money was not credited in my account and again when i called the icici customer care i was told that there was no default found as barclays bank shows it was a successful transaction. this is ridiculous on part of Icici and the way they have resolved my problem infact they have not resolved it and they have created a mental tension for me that i have lost my 400 bugs because of their system default. please help me to solve my problem and get back my 400 bugs. today it was 400 bugs other day it can be more than that. it is a BIG SHAME on ICICI bank..

            Hi Team,

            I am using ICICI credit card. I missed to pay the due amount on due date. However, I paid my payment in another one week. The bank has charged me some finance charges, late payment fee and other interest charges. The amount got accumulated every month and they are asking me to pay around 14,000 now. They have also started reducing from my savings account without my permission. The amount 14,000 charged is not event a single rupee used by me.

            I met collection team manager from Bandarkar road Pune for settlement(This has been arranged by another agent who is not an employee of ICICI bank). The manager I met was threatening professionally that they will add my details in CIBIL.So, It will screw my financial life.It is more frustrating for me. Please help me to resolve the issue.

                I want to lodge a complaint against Pawan Kumar working in ICICI Credit card recovery office situated at Barahkhamba Road, Delhi. One of My Cousin has taken a Credit Card from ICICI Bank and is unable to pay off because of some loss in his business. He has given my reference just for the reference. But now I am getting HARRASING THREATS from ICICI Bank recovery team to pay the amount. Even he started calling at my office phone and doing misbehave with the staff members. This is really annoying and ridiculous to call on office numbers. I got 7 calls today itself from[protected].

                Please take a quick action against him.

                  I had registered for the Money2India service on 4th March 2013. Following which I received a mail 5th March that I need to submit certain documents for verification. I submitted all the required documents on 6th March.

                  However, I received the same mail requesting for the documents on 7th March, then again on 8th March.
                  I called up customer service and was told that the documents have been received and I need to wait.

                  However, on 15th March I sent a reminder mail checking for the status of my request. In reply of which I received the same mail again requesting for the documents for verification on 16th March. Then the same mail was received again on 18th March.

                  I called up customer service again and was told that my documents have been received and I need to wait for another day.
                  Then on 19th March, I received another mail to verify my SSN number.
                  The SSN number was entered in my profile right from the beginning. However, I updated it again and replied to the mail on 19th March itself to confirm that I have updated the SSN number,

                  However, on 21st March I received another mail that my request will be addressed in another week!!
                  I called up customer service again and was told that the service will be activated within next 24 hours. Guess what.. I waited for 1 more day but the service is not yet activated. No mail from the bank as well.

                  This is the worst customer service experience I have ever experienced in my life.
                  Regret to say that it is the worst bank to deal with.

                    Ever since I have started using services of ICICI Bank, there has been a delay every single time and the reason stated is system issue!! 2 years back when I had applied for a credit card it was delivered to me after nearly 3 months. This time after 2 years when I have applied for another card - again delay its already been over 1 month. Every other bank delivers the credit card within 15-20 days.

                    I don't even want to indulge into stating that last time when I had applied for a card with this bank, the benefits promised were not given at all. I was duped. I am a savings account as well as FD holder. Every Time whether its credit card, FD or savings account - try using their services - There is a system issue and there is always a delay.

                    It is impossible to raise a complaint for 2 reasons -
                    1) Customer care process doesn't allow them to raise a complaint
                    2) The web-site is never capable to take a complaint

                    As expected, despite regular complaints to customer care and request for call back and regular follow-ups, there has been absolutely no response from the Bank.

                    Even as of today, the customer care person says that it would take 7-10 working days to deliver the card. They have been telling me this same thing over the past 3 weeks!! Only God knows when those 7-10 working days would get over. It has already been over 1.5 months since I have applied for the card.

                      I had applied for a home loan from ICICI but due to long processing time i had to cancel it.

                      The person from ICICI stated that only when the loan is dispersed when the processing fees of Rs. 11236.00 will be deducted from my account. This happened in the mid of Jan 2013 but the ICICI cashed a cheque of Rs. 11236.00 which is unethical and disgusting.

                      Presently banks are charging processing fee based on the sanctioned loan amount. This should be charged on actual loan availed rather than sanctioned amt.
                      Eg Loan sanctioned is 40L. Actual loan required is 20L. In this the processing fee should be charged on 20L instead of 40L.

Please look into the matter .

                        Had this horrible experience with RD account... they debited more installments than they were supposed to.
                        Didnt refund the extra installment even after compain lodged after one hour spend over phone banking...one hour..that pathetic.
                        Didnt not credit the amount on maturity.....was made to beg for another one hour over phone banking.

I have received a call from the number [protected] one person introduce himself that his name was prshant manager from icici card Deli and told me that a special offer from icici card we offer you a lifetime unlimit credit card .he said me .it will came to you in 7 working days .along with this card one discount card also given .with this card you get 9 gifts free for this offer you have to pay handling charge in fever of suparsaver Plus Pack" cost Rs.6,399/-they done the transaction but I didn't get any card and gift .the transaction number is 683041.i confirmed the above said number to your help center they told me yes it is icici card delhi number so that only i make the payment but now my bill was generated the amount was not reverse, today morning i made a complaint at icici help center also. so kindly take this complaint a serious one and give me a solution at the earliest ( Note: - their no is [protected].)

                          ICICI Bank Credit Card — charges in bill without using

                          i hven't done the tansaction and also informed the callcentre of the bank and they also assured me to wipe off these charges but the charges in my bill are still occuring

                          I am a retired General Manager of a public sector bank, and also worked with RBI as Officer on Special Duty (on deputation). In my March, 08, credit card bill an amount of Rs 4045.97
                          (Radisson Delhi). I stay in Varanasi and had nothing to do with the hotel Radisson Delhi.
                          As a good customer, I made the payment, but immdiately lodged the complaint. Since then I have been following up the matter with different officers of the bank. The bank did not have courtsey even to ack my letters.
                          If the bank can be so immune to customers' grievances with its unfriendly and non-cooperative attitude, how it can claim to be an efficient and customer friendly bank.
                          If a retired senior officer of PSB and RBI can be dumped like this by ICICI, God save the Aam Aadmi.

                          I had a credit card from icici bank held from last 2 years with a credit limit of 20, 000 and in the month of may 08 I have a total bill of 22, 647 which I told them to collect & close my card. The agent came to me after due date to collect my bill & I paid him the total bill & cancel my card after calling to customer care. again on june they sent me a bill of 675/- for late payment. That I also paid 0n 5 th july before the due date on 7th july and now I got a bill of another 695/- in this month. how can I have two bills when I have no existing card from last 2 months. Please help...

                          Got a call today morning from the no - [protected] claiming that he is calling from ICICI Bank card and as I am holding clean history bank is offering me a discount card with 6 benefits for which I have to pay 6399/- which will be reversed in the next billing cycle. He then said that I will receive a call from ICICI Bank verification department for IVR verification where in will have to key in card details for paying the amount.
                          After few minutes I got a call from the no - [protected] (Delhi no) confirming again the 6 benefits and was asking for card no, expiry date etc. As I knew its a fraud and I was playing with them but at the end I blasted them left and right with lots of abuse.

                            My mother deposited Rs. 5,000 as FD in the name of my son then 5-year old in year 1995, with my mother's name on the FD as the grand mother and natural guardian. My mother died in 2007. Though subsequently we submitted a request to convert the FD in the sole name of my son and produced death certificate, ICICI Bank Kollam refused to either release the amount with interest or even convert the FD into the sole name of my son and retain the deposit thereat. Our repeated contacts have failed to evoke any response all these years which is highly frustrating. The deposit amount is too small may be for the mighty bank to consider.

                                    i have applied credit card online , it is simply wasting of customers time. they have processed my application and told that my communication address is wrong. the funny thing is that i am customer of icici and i have taken personal loan few days back
