[Resolved]  Idea Cellular — Auto Activation and Balance Deduction

Dear Sir,

Suddenly a message appear to my mobile that "Your Mega Pack has be activated. Amount charged R. 15 for 1 week. Renewal charge is Rs. [protected]@1 Month as applicable. To deactivated sms UNSUB mgpkm to 54300" and Rs. 15/- has been deducted from my balance I dont know what is mega pack and I never made any request for activation of such type of services. Idea company automatically activated the services to eat the balance of customer, and when I made a call to customer care I interacted with Mr. Laxmikant and he simply told me that his system is not updated so he was unable to do any help and refund the amount.

So, It is requested to kindly deactivate the service like Megapack or whatever from my number and kindly refund the amount.

Idea Cellular — Refund amount

I have disconnected Idea post paid on Oct 31 and till now didn't use that number, Unfortunately I have paid excess of amount (3000.00 INR),till now I am getting the min bill monthly to my home, many times spoken with customer care peoples they are simply telling you will get the check within 45 day's but till now getting only the bill , and I am having transaction and complaint Id's with me , please tell me the process how to Put the case against Idea Cellular ,my mobile number is [protected]
Dude u dont know the spelling of cheque u dont deserve to get it or use it..

Idea — Idea activate things themself

I had activated dailertone before few months.And i am getting message like you have successfully renewed dailertone.if I get monthly once then its ok.But the problem is they renew 2 or 3 times in a month.And everytime they cut 30 rs.Yesterday they activated Idea Musicstation.I dont have any idea about musicstation and never activated.They cut 30 rs for musicstation.Thanks to Idea for their extra hardworks.The result is I stopped Idea service and looking into Airtel.Many of my friends also going to ban Idea.

idea mobile connection — caller tune charges without giving service

on 11 july 2009 i sent request to activate dialer tone by sebding msg.. and my balance reduced by 45 rs. by reply msg that dialertone has been set but it has been more than 24 hours and i called several times to customer care about it but no action has taken.. they gave me complaint no. 40364939.. and advise me to wait for 2 hours.. till evening i waited.. than i again called to customer care service on 12345 but i think no responsible person were there to receive my call.. i called at dialer tone service and i dont know how suddenly they sent me again a msg that my dialertone has been changed and they charged again 45 Rs. its cheating and i am fade up with these kind o[censored]nresponsible behaviour of co.. i am plannin to change my connection.

Idea Cellular — Non activation of offer even after deduction of money

Sir,
I have a prepaid mobile connection of idea ([protected]). I activated the offer "friends and family" on 16th August 2009. I gave one number and Rs. 5 were deducted from my account. However the offered call rates are still not being charged. Please advise.

Hi,

I have registered dialer tone for my mobile [protected]. whenever people calls my mobile 'they will hear that 'Press * for copying the dialer tone' before hello tune.

Idea gives this advertisement on peoples money for everybody

IDEA MOBILE — deducted amount whitout requist any service of company

My mobile no: [protected], last one month company deducted Rs.2/- daily in my balance amount, but i have not requisted to company to provid any service to me, but company deducted against jambo pack , tI severral time phone to CC no. but not any representatve taken a phone ,only listen thair sceem of company

IDEA Cellular Services — activation of service by themselves and deducting the amount from the account

Dear Sir,

Every now and then the service provider activates one or the other services on its own without informing the user and deduct the amount from the account.
Whenever the customer care is contacted they never deal the call satisfactorily and dont give the suitable answer. Its only after deducting the amount that we become aware of the service activated on phone.


I just want that before activating any kind of service, the service provider must ask for sending a confirmation sms for the activation like the way they do for its removal. When they ask for such a confirmation for removing the service, they should also ask it while activating it.
I am very much disappointed from such acts.

Idea Cellular — unuseful deduction of balance

I have facing the problem of deduction of balance in my mobile no:[protected] although my balance is in negative than also i charged for an unknown service which is not activated by me and i also try to deactivate it but it fails.

So i request u to solve this problem as soon as possible.

Idea Cellular — AUTOMATIC BALANCE LOW

i am using idea cellular simcard from last 6 years. i have a prepaid connection which is converted to lifetime.
my mobile no is [protected].
yesterday 10 rs was directly deducted from my balance.when i called 4 times to customor care 198 & 12345 they told me that our system is slow & we cant give you any updates. every time i called they asked me to call after 2 hours.

actually i have not told to any of their marketing persons to activate SMS MASTI pack . But idea cellular has activated this facility forcefully & forcefully deducted my balance.

Also customor care executives were talking very rude & carelessly.
You are right.
Same thing happened with me 3 times.
When I asked them for reason they said its your mistake. You might have pressed any button and service is started.
So finally we should teach them a lesson by stopping IDEA service forever.

One more add on to it. When I asked the customer care why they added the service, they said I have entered the short code for it. I have activated dnd and I do not know the short codes for the service. and the most important thing, time they told me I have entered the short code at that time my phone was switched off because of low battery

Idea Cellular — Undue balance deduction

Sir, I have Idea Sim with No.[protected] and activated Rs 20 per day GPRS services .
and I requested for Deactivation on 31 Aug 10 and SRNo.1-[protected].and conform me for same for next day But deduction of balace continuose up to 6 Sep 10.i.e.loose of Rs 100 .due to that I could not make call and loose Rs 50000 from my bussiness

Idea Cellular — Automatic Balance Deduction and No Refund

I have complaint regarding to Idia cellular regarding Automatics balance deduct from my mobile No. [protected]. Rs.30 on 29 Nov`10 and Rs.30 on 21st Jan`11. (Total deduction 60/-)

But they refuged to register complain and refund my money.

Balance deducted regarding "Devotional Portal". But I have not got this offer, This offer has started automaticaly.

Kinldy look in to this matter and do the needfull.

Idea Cellular — Abnormal balance deductions

Sir/Madam,

I have been using the IDEA Prepaid connection for 6-7 months now. The details of the owner of the connection is as below:

ID Type: Driving License

I am facing the following problems for 2 months now:

(a) A regular deduction of Rs.5/- towards GPRS rentals.

I have taken the following measures to resolve the problem:

(a) I have complained on 27-Jan-2011, against the said deduction and asked the customer care executive to lodge a complaint agaist my grievance. The service request no. is 1-[protected].

(b) Despite the above complaint, the deduction did not stop, hence, I called the customer care number again and asked them to lodge another complaint. The said complaint no., lodged on 5-Feb-2011 is 1-[protected].

Now, even on 17-Feb-2011, the deductions have not stopped. There was a deduction of Rs.5/- from my balance today morning.

I called the customer care today (17-Feb-2011) again and asked the reason. They said that, there is a 'SONG-PACK' activated against my number and that is why the deduction has taken place.

But, here, I want to clarify that, I am using a basic handset by NOKIA and GPRS cannot be used from this handset of mine. Yet, they said that there was some SONG download happened.

Now, I want the following steps to be taken in this regard:

(a) The GPRS service, if any, to be de-activated against my number stated above. Since, I have lodged two complaints to stop the said service, it should have been stopped by now.

(b) As stated above, I have lodged the first complaint on 27-Jan-2011, so the money deduted should be repaid to my account balance of my number stated above. The exact amount should be the no. of days, multiplied by Rs.5/-.

I agreed with this, IDEA has also charged my number three times and automatically activated few services like MyMusic49, MusicStation and Live Astrology and charged extra amount. Now i'm also thinking to change my operator from IDEA to airtel.

R Com Mobile — RW Charges

Dear Sir,
I am having Corporate Connection of Reliance.

It is to bring kind notice to you that I have been charged for Rs. 25 on RW Hanuman Chalisa on my number [protected] in my current bill i.e. 7/3/11 to 6/4/11. I called customer care and they told me that I have used that service and the charges are right. I told them to give me the details; they are unable to give me the details.

Previously they have charged Rs 75. On RW Hanuman Chalisa on my previous bill i.e. 7/1/11 to6/2/11.

Kindly go through this matter as if the company is doing this type of thing, than I am sorry to say that it is not good for goodwill and reputation of the company.
I have also called Nodal officer of Jaipur but they are also not giving me the satisfactory answer.
