      Hi,
      My Self Santhisunil Ponnaganti, holding Idea cellular services since 2001. As I am using it since long back years, all my insurance / bank accounts/ employment records were enrolled with same phone number. Since last 3 months I am facing weird situation with the idea cellular / customer care services. The actual problem was started in the month of Oct 2012. I use to get a voice over message while doing any outgoing call saying (in regional language, Telugu) – your verification documents were not received. So please submit them in nearby idea outlet to avoid service disconnection / barred. Hence, I have submitted once in the month of October (date not remember) with acknowledgement number 705969, as per the idea outlet employees confirmation the voice over message has to be closed within 24hrs of submitting the documents. But, unfortunately it was not happened more over my incoming / outgoing services had been barred. When I enquired with Customer care, I received the same response from the customer care saying documents were not received. Upon this response I have submitted my documents (passport copy) with acknowledgement number 854229 on 9th October ’12 at KPHB Idea outlet. Without any service available waited for a week and tried for Customer care services help having acknowledgement customer copy in hand. Still, I received the same response saying your documents were not received. Though I have provided the acknowledgement number, they are in such a situation not able to retrieve the past complaints history relates to my mobile number moreover suggesting me to submit documents once again in same idea outlet. Still, without losing hopes on it, submitted same documents again on 16th November’12 with acknowledgement number 05154177 at KPHB Idea outlet. I expected this time it will be solved and services got reactivated by god sake. But, still the same situation services were not activated. Every time I call to customer care services, I have tell the same story again and again starting to end each time to each individual CC employee who lift my call, finally one of the CC employee connected me to so called escalation team in their division, they suggested me to submit the documents again at Idea cellular head office at Khan Latif Khan Building, Nampally, Hyderabad. Within 4-8 hours services will get activated. With this something unusual solutions suggested by escalation team, I have turned to Idea cellular head office at Nampally, on 1st December a fine Saturday afternoon (keeping all my weekend works aside) by 1clk all the way from KPHB to Normally(nearly 20Km) . As usual I have taken token and waited for my turn to see customer care service executive in live. It was just 7:30PM by the time my turn comes. Here, the new customer care Executive MR.Pavan in counter ‘G’ was very polite and said you need to submit your documents again here (I was not expecting anything new response here), as I was ready with all my old acknowledgements of previous submissions and new set of documents and photograph ,submitted them. Before I leave the counter asked Mr.Pavan what I should do if the service is not active now. He said, “I don’t know” what does it mean by this? I forgot to mention my new acknowledgement number 2623392. As said by Mr.Pavan, the service got activated within 4 hrs. Wait wait…story was not ended up so happily, now I am getting a voice over message while doing any outgoing call saying (in regional language Telugu) – your verification documents were not received. So please submit them in nearby idea outlet to avoid service disconnection / barred. Just because of this delay in 3months period, I couldn’t able to do any online bank transactions as I do get OTP passcode to my mobile every time I try to do money transaction so I lost almost 2.5lakhs.

      Idea mobile services — about mobile verification

      sir,
      i was using idea connectin on my mobile .but service provider has closed my connection and tell me that you will have to pay verification identity and i have submitt my identity but my phone is not start
      so please help me.my number was [protected] which is not start now.

      I was using Idea Mobile no.[protected]. I had been complaint 10 times for caller tune disactive in idea customer care but not disactive this caller tune. 2 or 3 time Rs.25/- cut in my recharge balance. Many complain but not caller tune disactive. So, please I am suffering for idea customer care unit. Please try to understand and solve my problem urgently.

      I applied for MNP on 31/5/2011 and gave my documents at idea office in bardoli.. but now they switched off my number saying that its negative verification whereas i confirmed from idea office that they sent my documents properly. so my number is not working and i am in problem.

        mere mobile main Rs 29.15 praise balance tha bina kisi service ke use kiye mere balance me se Rs 25.00 kat liya aur jab main Customer care idea se bat kiya to unhone jabab nahi diya aur na mere paise Rs. 25.00 wapas kiye
        I recharged my mobile no +91-[protected] by 98 for the net pack for the 1Gb plan.but at 28/08/11 company charges 12 rs from my account witout any reason and customer care told i downloaded a game but i did not download such items.please refund my balance.

          i am a regular user of the postpaid connection of IDEA
          for the part one month i am not able to receive or make calls / sms
          the engineers from IDEA have stated that there is a technical problem and would be resolved. this was assured to me in the last week.
          even today morning the engineers assured that by 10:51am your problem would be resolved.
          even now the problem persists.
          IDEA should be penalised for such deficency in services and pay compensation for wasting my time, energy and money in following up with it for the last one month.

            I am holder of prepaid Idea mobile phone with No. [protected]. Today at 3.58 p.m. a message received from 54300 asking me to download bolly beauties video http://ideaalert.vuclip.com/isp?sn=2513&vpid=8&src=VPINMI&mdn=Ciw2RI... and immediately thereafter without my consent/permission, another message was received from IZ-ideaCMS stating that "Dear Customer, thank you for downloading VIDEOS from XINLABS. You have been charged Rs.99.

            This is nothing but cheating being done by your company because neither i gave consent for the download of the aforesaid video nor without my prior permission was taken to download the same and automatically deducted Rs.99/- from my account.

            I immediately contacted your customer care, where one Akshay attended me and was not at all willing to help me. Straightaway he stated that I must have downloaded the video. On my further insistence, he stated that he does not have detail in the system and therefore I should call after 4 hours. I asked him to lodge a complaint, he straight away refused stating that he will not do the same. On my asking to forward the call to his senior, he again refused to do the same saying he will not do it. Again on my insistence, he reluctantly forwarded the call to his senior one Arvind, who again repeated the same thing that he does not have detail in the system and i should call after 4 hours and he also refused to lodge the complaint.

            This attitude of yours is completely uncalled for and frustrating with sole intent to cheat and harass your customer. I for no fault of mine have been disturbed, harassed and my precious time is being killed by your illegal act apart from swindling my Rs. 99/-


            I call upon you to immediately credit back Rs.99/- to my account failing which I will be constraint to file case of cheating against you all at your cost and responsibilities.


            Also please train your staff to be more humane, helpful and friendly with your customer for betterment of your business. I hope my complaint is attended positively and I am not harassed any further.

            Idea Cellular — deduction amount without permission

            my mobile no.is [protected]. deduction 45/- rs. from my mobile without pemission. automatically activate diller tone in my mobile. i had not sent any message for request for activate diler tone. pls. refund my all amt. in my account. otherwise, i will take legal action against you.
            heloo I m Suresh Arora .. My prepaid mobile no. is [protected]...
            I have lifelong plan... one time I have recharged of rs.. 106 to get cheap call rates.. It worked for 5 months..
            But now when I again try to recharge the same plan.. then It didn't recharged.. An message comes:- Yopur request can't be processed...What is it???

            Now My prpaid balance is deducting day-by day
            Please help me to solve my problem...

            Idea Cellular — No information on deduction

            I am using Idea pre-paid life time sim.I rechage my account on 19th OCT 2009 Morning after that i made some 4-5 calls but when i check my acoount next day it shows negative ammount next day i recharge it again.and called idea customer care they said they the data of my recharge on 19 OCT but they dont have any info on deduction and asked me call after 4 hours i called them next day they said yes sir some 180-190 amount is deducted from ur acount but we dont know why and asked me to call after 1 hour i called them back but they say still there is no update pleas call tomorrow.

            In all this episode they knew that i rechared twice and deduction took place but dont know why they deducted.

            I'M USING THIS SIM FOR 4 YEARS. AS EVERY1 KNOW EARLIER IT WAS NAMED SPICE AND ATTRACTED BY MANY WITH THEIR
            10 PAISE PLAN WITH 1 PS SMS

            AS U GOT A BULK OF COMPLAINTS REGARDING CHETING ON MANIPAL PLAN U DID CORRECTION ON 10/MIN PAISE ISSUE SOLVED.

            GPRS WAS AVAILIABLE OF 49 PLAN UNINTERRUPTED ON ROAMIN(AS A USER I NEED IT )
            SEE EVERY COMPANOES SUPPORT IT ..
            U IDEA PEOPLE STILL CHEATING...
            ROAMING ON KERALA ALMOST IS LIKE A WASTE IN CONNECTIVITY...AND GPRS MONTHLY 49 RS GONE..NO SYMBOL AT ALL//

            Idea Cellular — unnecessary deduction in my account without your permission

            Sir,
            I have mobile connection bearing no: [protected], in this connection the service provider is unneccessary deduction was doing in my account which was done two time. 1st in the 6th Jan 2011 30/- was deducted for devotional song which was activated without my knowledge and permission, so i complainted to customer care somany time finaly after 5 or mor days it was credited, 2nd the same was done in 5th feb 2011, by deducting for devotional song same complaint to the customer care and lodged complnt. No.[protected], complt.was recvd. informing that the amount will credited within 2 days but not still credited, one day one lady call and telling that it was not refunded because, "devotional song was activated by your side" so we cant do any thing. I was try to explain all about this, to understand her, but she was not able hear my explanation. telling that we are not able to repay, we are not worry for ur further complnt. this is the right response given by her, 10/- Rs. is smaller, but like wise, how the company will cheating to the un-educated poor persons without their knowledge.

            So, please kindly consider and register my complnt. and take action and refund my 10/- Rs. with fine of Rs. 5000/- as punishment on the prestige issue for irrespectable reply

            I am a idea cellular customer, having prepaid mobile no.[protected]
            On 6th Aug.11 i got call from customer care , my balance had been deducted against idea chit chat facility against receiving call only?My balance is deduction Rs.15/- on 7th Aug.11 without using any outgoing call/sms.
            I had talked with customer care on 7th Aug.11, 11th Aug.11, 14th Aug.11
            at customer care nos., but every time got answer that u will get the refund against
            balance deduction. They are making assured by when i will get it..! Today is 23rd Aug.11 i had not recd. refund of Rs.15/- Idea cellular is using money of their
            prepaid customers.

                main sandeep Gaharwar Nagpur se sir maine idea se internet pack jo Rs 98 me 1 gb ka data deta hai wo recharge karaya tha 26/11/2012 ko jo hume mila , lekin uske kuch der bad hi hume idea se 1 sms prapt hua jisme hume 50 mb ka data free diya humne wo 50 mb data use kiya use karne ke bad hume paise lagne lage to humne uski jankari ke liye customer care ko phone lagaya to unhone kaha ki aap ka 98 ka jo plan hai wo cancel ho gaya kyun ki humne 50 mb ka data jo company ne diya tha wo pura use kiya hai to aab aap ko paise lagege aab aap hume bataye ki humne to idea se 1 gb ka internet data manga tha unhone 50 mb ka data diya aur humare Rs 60 bhi kat liya aab wo hume 98 ras wapas de rahai par Rs 60 wapas nahi kar rahe hai aap se anurodh hai ki aap humari sahayata kare

                I have activated idea internet package for one month.For a few days it was ok,but after it seems very bad as compared to other service providers.Some time, it is too difficult to get connected&speed is too low.While using orkut ,chat is not loading.It seems to be loading for hours and not get loaded.Even we can not change our profile theme also(it show bad srever)After my activation, I approached their executive for three times regarding these complaints.Iam totally unsatisfied with idea internet,no doubt it is the top most bad mobile isp.
                wat my frnd told is correct.i was using aircel for my net.last week i changed to idea.really fed up with this slow speed.ve to wait for long time to load a normal page in mobile browser itself...surely wii go bak to aircel internet by next month...never evr go for idea.

                last 4 days i have been making complaint to your office.
                we are corporate plan holder since last more than 10 yers.
                on last Friday i brought nano sim from you to installed in my new i phone 6.
                i am not getting internet on my cell. i am out of office & as such i am not able to see my office mails.
                it is very urgent & you have to start it immediately.

                    I was a provider of Reliance CDMA and port my no [protected] with a great hope in this company but here I face the same type of rude service from all the representative. I applied for port may be 5/6 day before Ganapati Telecom situated in Bahadurgarh,Haryana.But from last night suddenly they disconnect my no from Reliance CDMA and just transformed it in IDEA in night. Today after applying on this no 59059 your representative told me that your no will activated on 3rd of Dec. till that my ph will remain as a dead condition because Idea's Activation Dept. closed on Saturday and Sunday.I am totaly surprise if your activation dept. remain off in Saturday and Sunday so why you disconnect my no on Saturday night thatswhy you make my phone as a stupid box.I port from Reliance CDMA with this hope that You people realy provide best service to your exist customers but here my first day experience is not better than Reliance. For this whole issue this time I just wait with this so called renowned GSM Mobile company thats IDEA for coming 90 days after that definitely I have to make a decision to switchover from this type of irresponsible team. Now I want proper action against on this type of irresponsible Cellular company.

                      I am Nitish Kumar Bandari who took a postpaid sim from IDEA with the number [protected]. as i am from a rural place in medak, i stay in my cousins house and undergoing some technical courses. The verification of the number is completed but the OUTGOING of CALLS and MESSAGES got deactivated. now i got a bill of 363 rs where i have used the call very less with the credit limit what i have got. please help me out.

                        I have paid everything that are sufficient for the postpaid connection for an IDEA service. They collected even money from me. They said it will be completed in 2 days, but now it is already 15 days, but there is no response from the IDEA.

                        Hi, I want to get new connection of Idea Post Paid. I want to get number of my choise. The Idea galari person told me that i you want chooose number then it cost to start from 500 to 50,000 INR. & the amount gose to IDEA by cheque. is it necessary to pay the amount for choose number? any body give me the right ans.

                        i have buy idea postpaid connection before 2 months ago .i paid all amout and complete all the procedure for activation.but idea company still neither send sim card and noractivate my connection.

                            i applied for porting from bsnl to idea.
                            porting is done well.
                            after porting within 2 to 3 days no got disconnected due to proof rejection..
                            same i have submitted the proof to t.s.m of that circle.
                            he told no. will be cleared soon,
                            but there is no response.
                            more than 30days went.
                            some of my frnd told that if the no remains more than 35 days without activation it will
                            get deactivated.

                              Sir my has been deactivated by idea cellular after submiting documents two times at their idea office.iam having a business as customers and clients approach through this number repeatedly I request them to activate my number but they are not willing to activate.on[protected] I have submitted my documents acknowledged number AE551247 when I have done my MNP after few days I received a message that they didn't received my documents again on[protected] I have submitted documents acknowledged number 05174657.On[protected] evening they have deactivated my number completely so this is my request to them that without informing and deactivating number is not lawful.in evening when I approch idea office I saw more then 50 people were suffering from the same problem.

                                There are exorbitant charges in the mobile bill for the month of October 2012. I am charged at least 700 INR extra for the internet usage. When raised with the company - they are not able to give satisfactory answers. They sais you stared using it before it was activated - how funny this is.                                   Sir,

                                  This is to bring to your kind notice that I, Subhajit Ghosh, resident of Samar Sarani, Kestopur, Kolkata -700102,Mob : [protected] had bought a IDEA Netsetter with the hope of better service on 20 th Mar,2010, from your Idea outlet in Kankurgachi, Kolkata. The personnel inside that outlet told me that the upfront speed will be 236.8 kbps, & i will get approximately 60 kbps, they also told me the service is excellent & i will be getting roaming coverage with superb speed in all over West Bengal. I have a scanned copy of purchase bill attached herewith for your ready reference. But I am sorry to say that I am not getting anything at all at Sodepur,WB -700110 where the connection is made with the computer -connection is failed.
                                  You are requested to take immediate steps to mitigate my grievance.
                                  As the matter brooks no delay this may kindly be treated as URGENT.

                                  I am enclosing the hard copy to consumer protection cell/ consumer forum in West Bengal for speedy mitigation of my grievance.

                                    This is regarding the discontinuing of Idea post paid connection ( Mobile Number : [protected]) request.
                                    On 17th July 2012, (Customer ID - RNM124491 paid at Idea Bill Payment Centre, Shadara, Delhi East )
                                    I made a request to Idea customer care to discontinue my postpaid service after making my final settlement payment of Rs 1628/- on same day to avoid any further bill.
                                    Further to this Idea Customer Care Executive confirmed that request has been lodged & service will be discontinued shortly but they didn’t give me any reference number for my request instead, I was informed that no such reference will be provided.

                                    18th July on wards, I never used any facilities for this number (Mobile No. [protected]). As a matter of fact It has been permanently switched off.
                                    But ,since October 2012, I have started to get enormous calls from Idea to make payments & I understood that service is still active.
                                    Idea Customer Care Executive Claimed that i have availed outgoing call facility after my final settlement.
                                    In order to avoid any further confusion I requested the Idea Customer Care Executive to send soft copy of usage bills for this number along with call log for the duration in which they claim i have made calls. But till date i have not received any clarification bills or documents from Idea.

                                    Moreover, my acquaintances are receiving calls from Idea stating that i have not paid my bills and asking them to pass on this message to me. This is highly unacceptable.
                                    I want this to be stopped immediately and all the issues should be rectified.

                                    my last bill for the month of MAR 2010 there in bill lots of charges aded without my information and not as per my plan .

                                        Myself Adarsh Rodrigues, a resident of the state of Maharashtra. I was a consumer of Idea Cellular Net Setter Data connection. The service of the internet was always pathetic and 4 months back it hit a new low. I called up the customer service and complained about it, but there was no response from their side neither did any solution to my problem. Hence i decided to not pay that months bill. My service was disconnected. I never got a printed copy of the bill delivered to my place hence i did not even had a track of the bill. 4 months later i got a call from a person (who i suppose was a recovery agent) and asked me to clear my outstanding bill that included the service i used and the rent of the two months. I again explained my problem and told them that i will clear the bill for the amount of service i used (as i believe i am obliged to) but i wont pay the rest amount as that is meaningless. They asked me to go to the gallery and give them a call as soon as the payment is done. I went to the gallery and tried calling them up but no one responded, Due to the lack of printed bill copy, i did not even have my number to clear the bill. Hence i could not. Later on 28th Nov, i got a call from a guy who said that he is speaking from the Delhi district court and Idea has filed a case against me for Fraud. They gave me a lawyers number and asked me to talk to that lady, I had a word with her and she told me she is representing Idea Cellular and said that if i dont clear my bill before 5, they will forward the file and the case will be registered, Scared by this i asked my friend to go to an Idea Show room and clear the bill. After he cleared the bill, it suddenly crossed my mind that 28th Nov, 2012 was Guru Nanak Jayanti, and was a bank holiday and i realized if there was a court case i would have got a notice from the court before hand, nothing as such was received by me. Hence i conclude that i was tricked into paying extra sum of money that i was not even suppose to pay.

                                        I dont want my money back. i just request you to kindly take the necessary actions that will avoid such further harassment to the end consumer and people fake pretending to be High authorities such as Courts should be severely punished.
                                        We are having a postpaid mobile connection from Idea cellular and the mobile No is [protected]. The scheme opted for is "Combo 249" which offers 400 minutes of free call and 400 sms free in a month in addition to 512 MB GPRS. In the month of Feb 2012 I received sms from Idea cellular on various occasion stating that I have crossed my permissible limit of credit because of which I was asked to make payment to avail uninterrupted services. The details are as under:-

                                        1. On 15 Feb 2012 an SMS was received stating that I have touched 70% of my credit limit,requesting me to clear the billed and unbilled amount of Rs1687.42 to avail uninterrupted services. Based on the above message an amount of Rs 1000/ was paid by me.

                                        2. Then again on 16 Feb 2012 similar message was received and even the services were discontinued by the service provider. To continue with the services an amount of Rs 2000/ was paid by me on 16 Feb 2012 itself and the services renewed after almost 2 hours.

                                        3.On 18 Feb 2012 again an SMS was received from Idea stating that I have touched 70% of my credit limit and requesting me to clear my billed and unbilled amount of Rs1425.76 to avail uninterrupted services. As I was sure that I have not many calls I did not make any payment.

                                        4. An SMS was received on 20 Feb 2012 again stating that I have touched 70% of my credit limit and requesting me to clear my billed and unbilled amount of Rs1447.32 to avail uninterrupted services. Again as I was sure that I have not many calls I did not make any payment.

                                        5. SMS was received on 21 Feb 2012 again stating that I have touched 70% of my credit limit and requesting me to clear my billed and unbilled amount of Rs1450.62 to avail uninterrupted services. Again as I was sure that I have not many calls I did not make any payment.

                                        6. On 22 Feb 2012 an SMS was received from Idea stating that "Dear Customer,we have yet not received the payment hence your services are suspended except Idea local calls.Please pay your billed and unbilled amount of Rs1946.76." Even though I was sure that i have not many calls , to get the services activated again an amount of Rs 1500/ was paid by me.


                                        On receiving the monthly bill for the period from 25-Jan-2012 to 24-Feb-2012 I was shocked to see that my actual bill was only ₹ 490.95 and excess amount of ₹ 4347.24 was shown as credit against me. On approaching the customer care executive they were not able to give a satisfactory answer and on asking to refund the amount he blatantly refused to do so.

                                        I need a justice for this as i was mentally harassed for almost 10 days. Me being in the Army is likely to get posted out in the next 2 to 3 months and the balance amount will last for almost 12 months with my average usage.
