[Resolved]  Idea Prepaid — Activation of Idea Prepaid Sim Card

Hi, I purchased a new connection at Kolkata from a shop near the Airport & have submitted all the docs for a new connection and also got a call from idea for verification to the land lord no. & was told for sure to activate new idea no.[protected] within 2 - 3 days but still pending till date since last 12 days.I have been facing problem. Please suggest why its pending for so long.

I bought a new idea sim card on 20.10.2014. still it is not activated. help me... my sim number [protected].

I have purchased a new prepaid SIM. I have received a message informing me that my SIM is ready for activation and that I should call 59059. However, there is no network and am unable to make any call from the idea sim (obviously it has not been activated yet.) When I called 59059 from an airtel No. a recorded message directed me to call another number for airtel help. When I tried calling the number from a landline, the call would not go through. What can I do to get the SIM activated?
I have seen that many other customers are facing similar problems.
If IDEA is unable to activate its SIMs it should immediately stop selling the SIM cards.
I am waiting today. If I am unable to activate the SIM I have paid for by this evening, I will check with every authority of the Government of India to ensure that this sort of treatment of customers by a company is not permitted.
It is is not possible to activate the SIM. please arrange to refund my money and I will purchase a SIM from another company. Otherwise I will seek compensation and damages for harassment.

then i called to 2222 no for activation, i got message "Services to this no are tempararily on hold".
Please suggest me for the same.

Sim card network is also not showing on phone... & tele verification on 59059 not responding...
It is showing emergency no. only.. Plz activate my no. Becoz I don’t have another no.

Please suggest me for the same.

i have applied for portability option and its number its UPC number is IB217378 valid till 26/11/2014.

and i have received one message from customer care to know the status of portability as send sms a ST 1-[protected]. to 12345 on 24/11/2014.

after receiving above message immediately my idea number was lost my signal.

So please resolve my problem and i want to continue my connection with IDEA.

Why my Idea sim is not yet activated. I had submitted all the docs on 20th Dec 2014 and still it was not activated. Yesterday I went to your Idea Store and they dont know the details and asked me to give the documents again.

A many of above complaints, i am not getting network signal, nor I cant register on ideal network. calling 59059 is useless as it replys" not on registered network". Requesting you to resolve this issue
