Idea charged me Rs.250/= in June 2009 for a nasty film song that I have (according to them, selected to be my favourite caller tune for a long period of 1 year. I protested and threatened not to pay bills at all. But alas, I paid it under protest, just to continue my connection.

In August 2009 they sent me a bill for Rs.380/= and I paid it after 2 days from due date. The line was closed and till date it is so, even after paying the entire claim amount of Rs.380/= on 7th of the month (Due on 5th).

Now they have sent me a bill through SMS for Rs.1200/= approx. and is pressing/ threatening over
telephone every day. I can merely ask that the line was closed on 6th September, 2009 and on 7th Sept I have settled entire amount of Rs.380/=. How at all can there be any bill thenceforth ?
I await your kind intervention and confirmation about non-payment etc. etc.

    Dear Sir,
    I had purchased a sim of Idea cellular on 06/11/2009 from Behala Manton, Kolkata.After activating the number I dialed a toll free number 554561 (as advertised inside their envelop) and Rs 6.99 was deducted.However I was informed about the deduction in a computer recorded voice only after dialing the number. Wthin five seconds I disconnected the line but still then the deduction was completed.
    Now my question to Idea is, first you published an advertisement saying that the number 554561 is toll free then after dialing the number you are deducting money with out proper intimation.
    However I talked with there customer care (No:12345) which did not came in help.
    Therefore I bring the above matter in your information so to stop this fraud by Idea cellular immediately.My sim No:[protected] and Idea mobile No:[protected]

    I have made a request for activation of dialar tone on 5th Dec but still it is not activated. also Idea already dedected 30Rs on same day. then i have talked with cuatomer care they said it'll start ASAP.

    Kindly take some action on urgent basis.

      I have a net setter connect. last month bill I payed on sept.5th then I told to change the plan into 299. but still bill is coming on same ( unlimited plan)
      I purchased from Sulthan Bathery Thomasson Communications, Wayanad.

      My Idea netsetter is postpaid and i told to change my plan to 599, last month they told it has been changed, but this month i could see that the bill amt. is same as last month.
      They are charging 100rupess for over date of bill that is too high and the net is also very very slow.(Frankly getting angry to brake and the device).No use very slow compared to other service providers.

        The crux of the entire problem is that-

         The Customer Care Officer must be made available if Idea is really has A ‘ True
        Desire’to serve.
         Here as per existing automatic system no solution is available on the finger-tips
        as claimed
         No literature whatsoever it may is easily available disclosing its all aspects.

         The latest example of the Ad dated 06.11.2009 published daily News Paper
        ‘Gujarat Samachar which interalia do not through any light as to get the facility Talk time
        of what amount will be available to the subscriber [conditions apply-validity 1 year]
         Are You Happy with last wordings of my feelings towards ALMOST CATAGORISED AS
        HIDDEN WORDS- by customers/subscribers feel that their money is snatched from their
        Pocket
         New slogan in the said Ad- in font EK SE BADHKAR EK- In addition to 1p /sec for short
        duration talk recharge with Rs.69/ 50p /min for long duration talk recharge with Rs. 99
         Is it a healthy Ad! In a Space of 25 CM X 15 CM Idea could have provided 4/5 examples
        If or the re-charge vouchers of amount with the facility of talk time available!
        Is it clear that the subscribers have such expectation which certainly can be fulfilled!
        OVERALL COMMENT- AS TO WHY FONT [4] IS USED FOR IMPORTANT THINGS.
        ANY RESPONSIBLE AUTHORITY WOULD BE ABLE TO REPLY MY FEELINGS WHICH
        IS A VOICE OF MAJORITY OUT OF 51 BILLION SUBSCRIBERS OF IDEA !

        My view are again explained in verbatum that FONT SIZE OF 'EK SE BADHKAR EK', 1p /sec for short duration talk recharge with Rs.69/ 50p /min for long duration talk recharge with Rs. 99 is published in FONT SIZE OF 24 TO 36 and the important point of Condition apply. validity 1 year is exibited in smallest FONT in an Ad of 25 x 15 cm Column of Ad.

        Why 4/5 examples of condition especially with regard to talk time available for the particular scheme
        in order to decide on the spot by reading Ad itself. Why the Customers are left to the mercy of Customer Care Adhikari- who reported to have been busy (?) Why Idea keeps them busy (?) or they are not posted at all. The subscriber do not require answer about where they are ? [customer care adhikari] only on a very particular aspect of above grievance.

        Implementation of suggestion is possible. OTHERWISE THE SUBSCRIBERS OF THE COUNTRY IS AWARE THAT THE CUSTOMER CARE OFFICER IS EASILY APPROACHABLE OR OTHERWISE ?
        ACTION OR REPLY RECEIVED AS AGAINST MY SMS WHICH NEEDS TO BE LOOKED INTO-

          i have idea connection. m.no [protected]. idea have one gprs plan tht is wap89 plan i wanted to use this plan therefor i contact with gprs department and tell them abt my mobile information like nokia 2700classic and asked them that is this plan is supported with my phone or not so many time every time they told me that yes this plan is supported with ur phone than after got information from custmor care i have been activated plan now when i m using gprs service its charging as a normal price tht mens wap89 plan that i activated on my phone is not supported with my phone and nt working and when im contacting with them then they told me tht its ur phone fault nt us its froud pls help me to refund my money which i paid to my service pls as soon as possible pls take action against this problem.

          so u r charging extra price.

          i[censored] want to use this plan, u have to select idea gprs setting.

          i m using this plan on my w200 i phone.
          and i m happy to use it.
          i am using idea wap89 plan. when i use this service with mobile this works, but when i use this via computer it charges very high. i am not able to understand that why it is happening.Please suggest me.
          yar tum idea wap 89 ka plan use kar rahe ho you should know what is the diffrence between the wap plan and the web plan the main differecne between the two is one is for access only wap site and the other is for inernet i.e web plan
          use this plan with any site starting with wap not www no charge u will get

          and first select ur setting defoult to gprs or imis in apn setting then u can access this plan free of cost my friend
          Hey everybody i was using gprs89 plan before.but with me there is a jadoo.when my balance came to 0.i just went to the opera mini option and i just went to google option.i didnt knew that without balance opera works.those who have 6303c can use its true.An idea can change your life.but you cant browse the wapsites.
          use idea fresh settings instead o[censored]sing idea internet for WAP
          man this amazing plan just change your internet setting to access point as idea gprs and enjoy the best plan of gprs...
          well in wap 89 plan can we use maps, nimbuzz(chat software), facebook application, GPS, E-mail configured into inbox itself, you tube? i am really confused as i dont know what is free and what is chargeable? Please help

            I own an idea connection which is on the name of Mr. Vishal Anand no. [protected] from last about
            5 months. on 30th October i made 2 internet recharge of Rs150 each, but i received recharge only for one,
            still one is pending.
            Even i had lodged complaint earlier also but got no reply from your end.
            I tried to contact customer care but even this is also of no use............
            this is really creating very bad word of mouth,
            i have been using AIRTEL from last 4 years and true from my heart i was very satisfied from there service, but still i made change here and tried Idea but in initial time only i am facing such problem,
            its really very depressing to say if problem will continue like this then sorry to say you that i have to switch back to AIRTEL...., and even i will give the same WORD OF MOUTH to my friends and family members....

            balance dtducted ut balance not credited
            i am from hyderabad i have latest recharged messaging card of 88 idea where i can msg 15000 per 30days

            but how can i check balance details of it mean sms pack balance details
            My name R.Prabhu ( Post paid No : [protected] ) & my Prepaid mobil no. is [protected]. If i recharge the prepaid to 100 Rs. the amount is automatically detucted by 5 - 6 Rs. daily.
            But i don't know for what it is detucted.
            I have spoken to Customer care They says that the call has been made for the amount detected.
            But the mobil was switched off for the 2 days & even though the amount has been detucted for that day.

              Dear sir,
              I had purchased idea card bearing no.[protected]. But i lost that card somehow sometime ago. Just yesterday when i called custmore care and informed about lose of card, he said this card is not registed in your name so there is no question of cancelling the same no. and he disconnected the phone without hearing anything from my side. He also said that detail i provided to him doesnt match with his record just because my no. was alloted to somebody else without informing me. Please suggest me how can i take steps against idea cellular limited?

But some days before a call came from customer care and i believed on that false call and then the lady who talked to me, send her executive and he said me the false scheme to me and collect money from me and he gave me the reciept of idea cellular limited.but i think i am cheated by that lady but i have the slip.Please suggest me how can i take steps against idea cellular limited?, can i case on idea in consumer court.

                I am Rajesh Kumar Dixit Residing D/48 CPWD kTraining Institute Kamala Nehru Nagar Ghaziabad.
                I saw on 31/10 /09 that my account has suddenly reduced by 20 rupees.then i search my mobile and found that a messege from chit chat (no name) that Rs 20 has been charged from my prepaid balance on account of GPRS Package Rental while it is not needed for me as i am already having Internet in my home and office. And again 20 rs Redused from my account on 01/11/09 also and my account has gone in nigative (-)5.00 rupees in prepaid account.i was unable to call some immergency call due this negative account.then i call costmer care of IDEA about 5.30 pm of 01/11/09. And from the coustmor care it is told that your GPRS accout will be discharged on 11.0 am of 02/12/09. But 0n 11.0 am it is not discharged and again charged 20 rupees from my account. while i am not using there GPRS service .Because i dont know about GPRS.
                Inthis way i loose my 60 rup. and that is regularly deducting day by day of 20 rup.
                so i request to compitent authority pl direct to stopp deduction from my account
                Today on 02 /11/09 nobody is resposing on coustmor care
                IDEA cellular service cheated the men and also distrubed by calling hole day about 15-20 call
                they dont think that during calling men can be on driving.meeting, some other emergrngy work this call can always distrubed in these condition un-necessary (advertisement call ) should be stop

                  Idea net setter i want to find the owner of this company i literally going to kill that harami in every complaint every one gets some speed ie, 54 kbps or 45 kbps but from last four months i got ZERO speed i have wasted total 6000 INR on this thing please take action there are total 118 complant on this site regarding idea net setter but no action taken by the company.

                  WE ARE THE VICTIM AND WE HAVE TO TAKE SOME ACTION ...

                  i had purchased idea netsetterhigh speed EDGE/GPRS mobile netsetter, one month ago .
                  i was promised for the speed of 236kbps but the speed i am getting is really horrible, i am getting the speed of 1kbps to 2 kbps only .

                    I would like to draw your attention towards the mobile tower which is working from the past 2 year on the top Floor of BC-48C Janta flats, East Shalimar Bagh. Due to its working, in the neighboring area, most of the children are ill. At first when they installed, we complain about it at via telephone but nothing fruit full has been done so far. On dt. 26.10.09. night about 12.30 pm.the owner of the flate and worker of the tower break the electricity main power box and joined the connection. On dt. 27.10.09 one of the worker of the mobile tower Co. rushed at approx. 11 am. Some of the member of the neighboring area asked reason entering the electricity room but he fear and ran away.
                    I would like you to get indulged into the matter and to take necessary proceedings to get the tower removed. Moreover, we need your response to get the meters' re-sealed.

                    Idea — illegal towing in janta flat

                    I want your Attention towards illegal mobile tower installed on top floor of BC-48C ( Janta Flats ), Shalimar Bagh which is already in use for the past 2 years. On its installation a complaint was lodged with MCD. The tower is in up gradation and even after behaving unwillingly, the neighbours are not showing any positive response to our threats. I want you to look into the matter and take corrective actions.

                      i am using idea no [protected] and while selecting dialer tones from company website and messaging to 55456 as given in website reply came as there is a techincal fault and twice message has been sent but same reply that there is a techincal fault and totally rs 6 deducted and song seleted was Tum Si Hi Film: Jab We Met code D92379 and was sent to 55456 as DT D92379. now i ask for refund of the amount charged.called customer care but no reply
                      I am using Idea network with the number of [protected]. I am not able to get dialer tones which i want. I gave 3 films songs to set any one as my dialer tone but they cant. Whenever i was called to customer care they are replying as this song is not available in our database. But in Air tel & other networks same songs available for dialer tones / caller tunes. It is a bad network in Karnataka. I am decided to change my cell phone network.

                        I bought a Sim card of IDEA immediately after it was launched in our area south of Madurai, in Tamilnadu. I found out that the signal produced by their tower, hardly about 500 meters from my house is very feeble and I made complaints to the Customer Care for more than 15 time in a span of 20 days. Every time I contacted the operator in Customer Care replied that the problem will be solved within 24 hours. But no effort was taken to check the signal from the tower. Most of the time I find the notification "Emergency Calls Only' in my mobile. I tried 3 different handsets, but the result was the same. I get excellent signals from other networks all the time & I have to depend upon other networks to contact my people. Idea lies idle at home. When a new operator steps into the field the operator should be able to provide much better services than the established operators. I don't know how Idea can provide a good service to their customers by neglecting the complaints of the customers.

                          I purchased Add-On Connection from ITBL Pvt. Ltd.

                          SIM#[protected]
                          Purchase Date: 13th Oct. 2009

                          ITBL Executive(Gurmeet Kaur, [protected]) committed that it will be activated within 24Hrs. But till today it is not activated.

                          In spite of contacting Gurmeet several times she didn't picked the phone.
                          I paid the amount 250/- via cheque favoring ITBL Telecom Pvt Ltd.

                          I have lodged complaint in Idea Customer care also but no reply from them also.

                          Together to above complaint. The number that was allocated to me is now alloted to some other person who is happily using that number.
                          I also got a welcome letter from Idea Cellular regarding this new connection purchase in which the number allocated to me is mentioned but not used by me.

                          IDEA postpaid connection — misuse of old sim

                          I was having three idea prepaid connection which I converted into postpaid as I was told that there was very good scheme on it. But I received a bill with huge amount and stopped the payment and enquired about the same from whom I got the sim and decided not to pay till I get the correct information. While giving me the connection my old sim was taken away by the provider in which there was all contact numbers which I did not removed. Now the telecallers are directly calling any of the number from my old sim without even knowing that who are they and briefing them that I have not paid the bill and if they know me they should tell me to pay the bill. Is that correct? They should contact me directly or issue a notice to me instead of misusing my sim. This is totally wrong and action should be taken against the telecaller for the same
                          I have a three card of idea. but i like to conversion into prepaid to postpaid. pls you tell me what i do?

                            I took 2year 998 plan 3-4 months ago,in the very first month you disconnect the services without any intimation.later on when i checked I was told that I have crossed the credit limit (approx 350rs).I tried to pay the bill online but failed as it was also blocked.Later on i requested more than five times to send your representative to collect the payment.Everytime I got an assurance that the executive will collect the cheque within 48 hours but noboday came.Then finally I saw an Idea outlet and paid Rs 500/- (instead of Rs 355) on 29th October 2009.But my services are still not activated and today I got a new message from your executive that I have to pay Rs 250/- a photograph,and an identity proof to get this number activated.

                            Can you tell me my fault,you are just trying to harass a genuine customer who never denied to pay,everytime it was a fault from yourside.I know that as a single customer it will not affect your balance sheet if i discontinue idea but really want to say that never seen such a disgusting attitude.

                            I can only say that loosing two year advance rent & Rs 150 is better than continue this number by paying Rs 250 to such a unprofessional company.

                                Hi !

                                I have taken a new Idea pre-paid SIM card on July 18th in Chennai. It was a lifetime validity card. I used it for a week or 10 days. After that I didn't use it till 27th October. When I try to use it on Oct 27th, its saying the SIM card registration failed. When I called customer care they are saying as you didnt use it for long time, it is cancelled and given to some other. There was balance also around 50 rupees.

                                I checked the terms and conditions and it says only if we dont use it for 6 months then it will get deactivated. But they have deactivated and also given to somebody else within 3 months itslelf.

                                Please guide me to get my number back or to get some compensation for the loss I got.

                                The same issue happened for me too.I had taken this lifetime prepaid connection from kochi in last 2008 at a cost of 499/-Now they are telling its given to some body.This is a very big cheating by using the word lifetime.No one will think about a lifetime means 6 months..what an idea sirji..!!!
                                I have also been duped by Idea in a similar way. First my Lifetime number was given to someone else along with a balance of Rs. 400 or so. I made a row and got it restored to me a year and half ago. Now they have cancelled the number and cannot find it in their database for non usage for 3 months. That too after I had recharged the phone just a month earlier - and the recharge was accepted.

                                There is something funny going on here and I will try to get to the bottom of it. Looks like an institutionalized racket. I wonder if TRAI regulations allow such cancellations. Do share your info with me. at sohan.[protected]@gmail.com

                                Hello my name is H. Verma with Idea Sim phone number[protected]. This SIM had a lifetime validity but now when I used it after 1 month it says that this SIM is deactivated temperorily. Please let me know how will this SIM be activated again.

                                  idea subscription of masti pack without any information[protected]

                                  dear sir/madam,
                                  the idea has deducted my money from my balance without any information, and they practiced this twice a time, i think it's the general practice of idea cellular. i m very tired of their behavior.Now presently they deducted my money by activating the MASTI PACK without any information and this pack charges is Rs.-10/= for 7 days.they send me a sms for information after activating the pack and deduct the money.please help me in overcoming my problem and getting my money back, , i will be very thankfull to you

                                  I too have complain with idea cellular when ever i recharge my balance get deducted for idea masti activation with out my consent.
                                  i am fedup with idea service provider for such activity.I request to take against this service provider.

                                      this is the message i recieved (and Miss Somya(idea executive) is saying its not complete because memory is full in my mobile)
                                      :- as Per your kind information i m using N72 and 64 MB internel and 1 GB external.
                                      Memory (RAM)50MB
                                      Memory (PHONE MEMORY)19MB

                                      as i know there is ebough Space Till now i did not deleted any message and i m receving messages daily.
                                      .
                                      if i did not recieve that only message its not my fault.
                                      Fault is of you service.
                                      So why should i pay for it.

                                      as per the Somya , she told me that during the serfing there is not downloading.

                                      and this is also called downloading the content.

                                      it means we are downloading the contect on our screen through the help of Explorer.

                                      then the why you peoples are Misguiding customer for all this..
                                      and putting extra changes.

                                      iam facing problem with your voice messages and your call executives calling at all hours. if any new service is introduced send only sms and do not disturb by calling or voice messages
                                      i did not get the reply of my complain and now my number is disconnected [protected],
                                      call to idea cellular "appelet officer" at [protected].

                                        I have already tell to customer care 5 to 6 times to send my bills on times but they donot do that. I have also submitted my application to the customer care and register the complaint but there is no action has been taken by the company .
