[Resolved]  IFB Washing Machine — Service persons not attending

My IFB washing machine is under AMC and I am in chennai.In spite of the repeated request to the help line no service persons are attending the machine,The manager at Chennai is not even attending the calls.I am not able to under stand the reasons for this casual attitude.No higher officials telephone numbers are available for the redresal.

My IFB washing machine is under AMC and I am in Delhi NCR Indirapuram. In spite of the repeated request to the help line no service persons are attending the machine, the manager at Delhi NCR is not even attending the calls. I am not able to understand the reasons for this casual attitude. No higher official’s telephone numbers are available. If somebody pick the call they are not ready to give case id / complaint No.
my name is rajan based in ahmedabad, gujarat..i am suffering so many problem with the machine since last threee months and what i feel is the technicians are not much qualified and that is the reason the same problems accure every time..i request higher authorities to look into this matter seriously and i appreciate if someone from head office can come and attend the probems..

IFB Industries Ltd. / Washing Machine — Non-fulfilment of service procedure

I have a Washing Maching of IFB Industries Ltd., under Model Classic, purchased in 2000. I have no maintenance contact for the machine. There was a mechanical sound at the time of spining of the machine since 14th February, 2010. I have loged a coplain before the company through their Customer Care No.[protected] on 16.02.2010 for first time. The service engineer from the servicing company visited the machine at my premisses on 19.02.2010. After scrutinization of the machine he intimated that three parts would be replaced and total cost of service including service charge will be Rs. 2364.00. If I agree then they would replace the parts. I categorically asked the engineer that on replacement of the said parts machine will be in working condition or not and the respected sound will be removed. He confirmed the same. When I asked about the condition of the Motor he specifically confirmed that the condition of the motor is perfectly O.K. I again told to confirm the same because I have the idea that if the Motor became defected, which was once replaced earlier in 2007, I would not go for replacement of the same by spending nearly Rs. 5000.00 again as the maching became very old and I would go for replacement of the maching by purchasing new one. On getting confirmation about the proper condition of the Motor, I gave my concent fro replacement of the three parts of the machine over phone to the servicing company and they replaced the same on 20.02.2010 including the bearing on payment of Rs. 2364.00 by me. After replacement the service engineer run the machine without any cloths and there was no metallic sound. He went away. Immediately after his leaving we run the machine with cloths and at the time of spining the metalic sound again appeared. Also water was coming out of the machine. We did not run the machine further. I again lodge a complain on next day and another service engineer visited the machine on 25.02.2010 and replaced the upper tub of the machine on receiving payment of Rs. 650.00 from me and confirmed that there would be no furteher problem in runnng machine. He also confirmed that there was no problem on Motor and the sound was originating due to the problem of water movement inside the machine. After his leaving when we again tried to run the machine with cloths metalic sound appeared at the time of spining. I again lodged a complain on 28.02.2010. Another service engineer, seperate from earlier two, visited the machine and now told that the Motor is defected and the same would be replaced and I had to pay Rs. 4,600.00 more. The sound is due to the problem from the Motor. So three service engineers said different parts were responsible for the metalic sound in the machine. If the third person was correct then earlier two persons were wrong and the replacement of the earlier four parts were not needed for which I already paid Rs. 2964.00. It is also not clear whether the machine will be in proper condition after replacement of the Motor on spending of further Rs. 4,600.00. The servicing company is not giving that assurance. The servicing paocedure of any instrument should be like that on scrutinization of the article the servicing person or company will intimate the total cost of servicing to the customer, then customer will decide whether he will service the article or replacement of the same and intimate accordingly to the service person. In my case if the first service engineer visiting the machine intimate that total five perts would be changed and there would be cost of Rs. 7,600.00 around I must not go for servicing of the machine. They misguided me and continuously drawing money from me in the name of replacement of several parts of the machine, but the machine was not repaired till now.
I am quite surprised that the following numbers given by you for contacting IFB do not exist or are invalid numbers.

How many numbers you want me to try for making complaints? I am holding annual maintenance period ending November 2010. For the past two hours I have been trying but with no avail. When the AMC is about to expire, you rush to us immediately for its renewal.

Will you please register my complaint now and send some one quickly. Water is leaking out of my machine and it is also giving noise. Will you take pains and give me one number where I can contact and register my complaint. Also please inform me email id of the Director of your company.

I am using IFB 7 Kg Digital machine which was under warranty till December 2009.

Further, i enquired about AMC details with IFB service franchisee (M/S S.M. Enterprises) and asked them to send the concerned person with AMC documents.

I have been following up with M/s S. M. Enterprises for last 3 weeks but, I feel IFB has been incapable to appoint quality service partners.

I wish to bring to the kind notice of IFB to take this matter seriously and should assess the quality parameters while appointing service engineers.

Further to my telecon with S.M. Enterprises owner today, the guy refused to send the engineer for AMC renewal. This is a matter of deep concern, where its contradicts IFB claiming quality service to customers.

I have purchased IFB washing Machine digital 5 kg. from Arvindra Electrnics Pvt. Ltd., SCO 1112, Sector 22-B, Chandigarh on 21.9.2009 at a total cost of Rs. 16000/- under exchange scheme. This machine is warntee for four years i.e. 23.9.09 to 22.9.13.The machine develpe some technical fault within 3 days and Sh. Sunil of S.S.Automation, SCO 303, Ist Floor, Sector 38-D, Chandigarh informed that its software required to be changed. I requested the dealer Arvindra Electronics Pvt. Ltd to exchange my washing machine. He sent one Sh. Gobinderjeet Singh, Branch Service Incharge, phone No. [protected], who alongwith an engineer made my whasing machine in working order and convienced us that it is o.k. Thereafter the machine again develped some snag and Sh. Kanhiya, Phone No. [protected] and Sh. Rajinder Kumar, phone No. [protected], visited to check the machine after great persuation, telephones and requests. They informed that the machine's drum needs to be replaced alongwith its software. The replaced the things whereas I pleaded with Sh. Gobinderjeet Singh, Branch Service Incharge Incharge to replace the piece and may change its model and I am ready to pay the difference, but all in vain and he refused to entertain my request. The machine worked for 3-4 months smoothly, but the same again developed some snag and I have requested your toll free number [protected] a number of times and every time they informs that the engineer will visit within 24 hours, but I am sorry to inform you that these 24 hours are yet to come even after 4 days. I even tried to contact Sh. Gobinderjeet Singh, Branch Service Incharge but he failed to lift his telephone, and if you say I am ready to show my call detail or may request the call detail of phone of your Service Incharge. Even I tried to contact on phone Sh. Rajinder Kumar, and Sh. Kanhiya but they also did not attended my phone call. It is understood that when their senior used to avoid the phone call of customers, then they are not at fault. Through this mail I would request you to kindly either replace my washing machine or the model may be replaced and I am ready to pay the difference if there is any. I would further inform you that your service of Chandigarh is below average and no body care to hear the customer whereas the customer is treated as king by other companies like Samsung, LG etc. In the meanwhile you are requested to direct your staff to attend this complain immediately as we are struck off for the past many days to wash our clothes. Since we are a working couple, so it is better if the engineer come to our house in the evening i.e. after 5.00 p.m.

IFB — Technician not coming, under AMC washing machine

My IFB washing macine is under AMC, I have registered a complaint, but they didn't turned up even after 25 days, even though I have so many times reminded they didn't take any action and not responding properly. They are telling some recorded answer(like My system is not working for past 15 days).

I thing they are cheating my. how this guys providing worstest service.I am planning to go to consumer court.

This is to inform you that i have registered for a service for ifb senorita plus on27th march 2010 with customer care centre in chennai[protected].the executives who have attended to it assured me that the service engineer will attend to it with in 24 hrs.But it is yet to be attended inspite of my repeated calls to customer care centre continously for the last 4 days.but none of your people gave me any concrete reason for the delay. IFB Washing Machine - Fully automatic 6 kg — Defective Piece identified in Demo and not replaced

I bought a washing machine on 7Mar'2010. In the demo dated 8Mar'10, it was found that machine is defective and lodge a complaint to replace the machine (complaint no 4229497). Company responsible person assured us to replace the machine with in 3 days but after continues follow up with Replacement Dept, Dealer and Area Sales Manager till today (4 april'10) no action has been taken. Now Looking for quick action to replace the machine and strict action for these kind of cases.

IFB Fa Washingmachine Senator Dx — Worst machine

We bought an IFB washing machine( Senator DX, customer ID[protected] on DECEMBER 2009...over a month of time it got repair...i have made all most 6 complaints calls..its just a 3 months old machine, service people came and changed the motor and interface PCP board, like a trial and error, they does not know the exact problem in the machine and solution for it..even after changing still its in problem...after changing the motor and pcp board, i have made 2 complaint calls for replacement, still their are not ready to take the replacement complaint into action.. we bought it for 24,890, we have not used it even for a month...we are requesting for replacement but they reply too harsh in customer care[protected]...we struggled and got a contact number for replacement department[protected]/12/13), but no one is attending the call for service.

I agree. I have a IFB Digital EX model and since last one month I am in problem. During washing the mavhine stops in between showing an error. So many times a person is attending a complaint but of no use. He is not able to understand the problem. A Trained and knowledgeable person ( who knows in detail about the machine and its system) is not available to attend the complaint. Can you give me some phone number of genuine customer care in Uttarakhand so that I can lidge my complaint and get the due service. Opening machine and touching the wiring etc. may spoil the machine permanently.

IFB,Fully automatic Washing machine,Senorita DX — Poor service

Instead of my so many calls at IFB call centre no person has attended my problem.My washing machine 'SENORITA DX' is not in working condition since 15 days.Earlier also I have been complaining about the same.Inspite of my so many complaints I have not recieved any reply in regards of my complaint.My washing machine does not even works properly for a month, it gets down almost every month and every inner part of it has already been changed.

IFB WASHING MACHINE — NOT ATTENDING THE SERVICE PERSON

We had purchased a IFB washing machine of ELENA MODAL,after one year we had faced the problem on it.We had complined to the ifb people they came and don the service and takend the money ,again with in short period same problem repeted ,we had callinng the person of ifb but he is not responding.
I have never seen such lethargic customer care elsewhere. IFB sucks.
I have been following up with the customer care since the last week of February and my AMC period is just getting wasted and no one seems to respond. Its terrible and pathetic. The branch managers react like dummies and ignorant people. They just do not know how to handle customers.
