[Resolved]  IFB Washing Machine — Service persons not attending

My IFB washing machine is under AMC and I am in chennai.In spite of the repeated request to the help line no service persons are attending the machine,The manager at Chennai is not even attending the calls.I am not able to under stand the reasons for this casual attitude.No higher officials telephone numbers are available for the redresal.

IFB Holidays — no response from ifb

I have been receiving offers from them to buy a holiday package which I did purchase using my credit card. The vouchers alongwith catalogues has come to me also.

Now when I am trying to book the hotels nobody is taking the call neither there website is working. This seems to be a fraud case and appropriate action needs to be taken against them. I had paid more than 7000.00 to them.
I think its a common attitude across the nation. I am at Ahmedabad and same is the case here. Call centre is just pathetic. They are rude and have no service attitude. Infact most of the malls and electronic shops in Ahmedabad have stopped selling IFB only because of the service.

It seems IFB is just not interested to do business in India or not bothered abou their customers.

All the one who have baught the product are fools. I am the biggest as my Washing Machine, Microwave etc all is of IFB

IFB Washing Machine — NO response from service persons

I am owning a washing machine of IFB- (model executive elite). For the past two years i am having AMC also with the company and the AMC no is 0000249. But the service provided by the company is very poor. No body is attending my complaints even after several reminders.Last time also i have booked a complaint on 12/04/2010 and the complaint number is 4377350. But till date no service person has attended my complaint and the status remains same.This is highly unacceptable. I don't know where i have to launch a complaint.Pl guide me properly.

The machine is a WASTE. If you plan to buy IFB products, I suggest you rather DONATE the money to IFB.
The machine is a junk. Repeated complaints. Untrained staff, Irresponsible seniors, [Mr.Shivakumar[protected]] does not even remember a customer, after promising to send an email.

I insisted for an email to be sent to me, to move to the Consumer Court, as according to their Service Engineers, is actually a faulty machine .

Within 8 months, the drum BROKE, and after repeated complaints the drum was replaced, and within 2 days the drum became loose, it was fixed, and now the same complaint and they say the PULLEY needs to be replaced.

Never buy IFB.

I AM FED UP ! .

I am now buying a Whirlpool [within 10 months of buying an IFB]
I purchased an IFB washing Machine, 8 months, drum has broken, pulley malfunction, unfriendly unprofessional staff in the agency, seniors keep making false promises but do not attend, 3 technicians have attended within 10 days but the problem has not been solved.

Never buy IFB products, donate the money instead .

If you wish to buy a MUSIC SYSTEM, buy an IFB WASHING MACHINE instead. You will get better sounds .

Only problem is that our Neighbours get upset when we switch on the IFB washing Machine...

I strongly agree with this...even i am facing same situation with my IFB washing machine...they are telling the same reasons for me. i called customer care people & escalted several time..but no use..if any compalint with IFB..they will take min of 7 to 10days but they will never fix the problem...

IFB / Dishwasher Zephyr Ex — Defective piece

I bought a new IFB Zephyr EX Dishwasher and the same was installed at my place on 27 July 2008. There have been at least 9 instances of registered complaints on the 'Customer Care Helpline' in less than 2 years. The earliest being in Sep 08, not even 2 months after installation, and the latest being on 19 Apr 2010, which has not yet been resolved.

And I sincerely believe that I've been sold a defective piece. Chamber PCB, Magnetic Valve, Circulation Pump, Control PCB - you name it and it has been changed - not once but many a time. The only respite being that the machine is still under Warranty and I don't think it can last any longer.

There is a certain Mr. Bhuwan Joshi who apparently runs your Service franchisee in Gurgaon. His team of technicians - Karim, Harshit, Diwakar, Sanjay, Pankaj have all opened my machine, replaced a part or did something which has not been long-lasting. Crudely speaking all have taken turns in raping the machine. Recently, when on the latest complaint IFB 'trained' technicians could not diagnose the problem, a senior engineer, some Mr. Srikant, from the Company was called to assess and rectify the problem. Also, Mr. Jagat, supposedly Area Incharge for entire Haryana came over to my residence last Saturday.

The senior engineer was a smart fellow...he not only diagnosed the problem but rectified it too...so much so that the machine went out of order the very next day!!!!! Apparently he left some loose connection in the control PCB, which was set right by one of the technicians named above. But, alas the machine still does not work.

We seek the number of somebody senior who can take an action and we are provided with the mobile number of Mr. Tamim Ahmed, the Regional Sales Manager - North. I try to reach him during the day and he returns my call a little later...trying unsuccessfully to pacify me. I finally tell him to get the defective machine picked up from my residence and replace it with a new one. To this he expresses his inability and tells me that he would need to discuss this internally.

Then today evening Srikant, the Service Engineer again visits my place and is still not able to rectify the problem since the part he sourced from the vendor is wrong. By now we've had enough. Actually all limits have been crossed.

All I want is my machine to be replaced with a new one because I'm not interested in getting the machine 'raped' again.

IFB WASHING MACHINE — no response in spite of AMC

i am army officer , i have got AMC done for my IFB washing machine which is not working properly, local rap of IFB checked it and took away some part of machine which has to be replaced. now this person/local office of IFB not responding/picking up my phone calls. This is very unpleasent exp with IFB that inspite of AMC no responce to ur complaint. Then ifb should refund my AMC money and stop doing AMC for thier products

The worst company i had ever faced dealing with customers. I think the company needs to be banned by indian govt for cheating so many customers. My complaint was of nov 2009 and still now the defect is not yet rectified. When so many dis-satisfied customers are there, it will be better a new / existng other company takes this as a market startegy and give an exchange offer to attract more sales in replacement of junk IFB machines.

IFB Elena - Washing Machine — Product is under AMC. Complaint not attended for more than 12 days

Lodged a complaint on 22nd April 2010. Whenever we call call centre, they will ask dozen questions and will say that they will escalate the matter to the higher authorities. The local service centre 30288510, 30288511, 30288512 will not pick the telephone. It will be continuously ringing. The call centre will ask us to contact the local dealer who are attending the services viz. Classic Enterprises. They will say some excuses for not attending the call. If we call IFB offices, they will put some recorded music and you will be wasting the call. For the past 12 days I would have wasted minimum 50 calls in chasing them.

IFB Washing Machine Top Load — BAD SERVICE

I purchased the top loading washing machine IFB 806 6KG on 23/08/2008 it is still under waranty meanwhile the machine was replaced with the whole gear box after giving a complaint several times and a regular followup nearly after 2 months this was successfully completed after a 6 months I am facing another problem the tub not spinning after registering a complaint 3 days later they attended and said v belt is cut and it should be replaced and we dont have stock we have to get it from chennai ( which 150 km or 3 hrs journey ) they told 2 days we will take to get it after 2 days when I asked the service incharge who was on leave or what reason i don't know he was not present in the office ..... ???? he says he needs sometime ( how long only god know ...) to get the part from chennai..... VERY POOR SERVICE PLEASE THINK SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE GETTING AN IFB MACHINE.......
I am also a person who is having similar complaints about the poor quality of after care/service of IFB.

The workmen came the next day and diagnosed the cause to be a motor fault saying they will be back next day as the motor needed to be replaced. This meant that one day of office work was already lost. However, they did not turn up next day and on calling number 25776208 we were told that the motor is not in stock. On insistence that we be provided with a motor as soon as possible as we had already taken a day off to attend to the initial visit, we were told to dial another number [protected]. A lady called Ankita at this number told us the same story, that a motor is not available but that it will be changed the next day in the morning part. When it did not arrive this morning, meaning third day of waiting for the workman to come and set the machine right, we rang this number repeatedly till it was picked up. We were again told that the motor is not in stock but she will see to it that it will be done today itself. Now it is 7.15 in the evening and I have to take a fourth day off tomorrow, hoping the workman with the motor will come.

We don't know for how long we have to keep ringing and waiting -- we are simply told again and again the motor is not in stock! Whose responsibility is to make sure that spare parts are kept in stock? Why are these people not pulled up by the Company so that instead of making false promises they are provided with the spare parts. I am not going to renew the contract -- it is a waste of money and I feel really cheated at having spent so much money on it year after year and then being harassed like this. Purchased Top loading IFB, 3 time full machanisam changed and taken back for replacement of Machine on[protected], vide challan No 061 dated[protected], by Matrix consultancy Job No 3644501, Nature of complaint- Machine not working. But still machine not replaced, it is very poor quality and not trained service and the product is very bad, and the service person approach is very poor and bad, All the people watching this comment may also ask your delear to explain about the replacement, the company is ready to replace the product but the customer care centre is refusing to replace the product, it is purely Manufacture defect the company may watch this and take necessary action and replace the IFB top loaded machine soon, or i will give good comment about the IFB product in Daily News paper for the consumer viewers and it will spoil the IFB goodwil, I think the reponsible persons may take necessary steps for the above machine replacement. My IFB Wahsing Machine is not serving to me post 6 Months. First time my machine repaired 6 months before that as not rectified so for i have complianed so many times at list 50 times to so many leves. Very sorry to say serivce is very very poor still i am having some hope upon you please rectify immediatly.

my name senthilkumar from Chennai have ifb washing machine model is executive elite it is in the amc my machine is not working properly have lodged a complaint on 29.03.2010 i mechanic came and verified it he said that the tube, flow censer& Bering are faulty and service man will come and rectify it one mr selvam came to change but he brought old spares and he said that will only replace only rectified spare parts after that i did not accept for that then spoke to the manager mr vettri he also repeated the same and did not respond properly he just hanged the phone without giving any answer after that i called mr selvem on 05.05.2010 weather he has received the new spares to replace my machine he said it has arrived i will be replace on the next day but it was not replaced on sat-day 08.05.2010 i called him he did not pick the phone on Monday i called customer care soni from customer care spoke to she told that she will rectified it before the
sunset but she also failed again i called her in the evening she gave a mobile number to speak i also spoke to him hr is mr shivahe also repeated that we will only replace a rectified spares then he put a conference call to mr nagaderan he said you problem will be solved tomorrow and on Wednesday i called banglore call centre superviser mrs stephi spoke tom and gave raviganesh mobile number is respond is very rough&he did no listen to my full complain he just haged the phone till today it is not rectified what will be the remedy can any one tell me
