Herewith I wish to bring to your kind notice that after attending complaint, your auth. service centre takes a lot of time to do the needful i.e. 15 days or even more by telling us that we don't have stock of spares like assembly or bearing etc., (which is not my (customer's) look out). I request the concerned authorities or dept. to do the needful at the earliest (immediately) and oblige.
I am totally unhappy after buying IFB product for a very very worst service back-up.

Since Saturday i.e. 27th February 2010 is not working and I am trying to lodge complaint on computerized care service at Kolkata. But this system is so deceptive that every time it advises to push this button that button for Hindi, English, and Bengali etc. etc and even if you follow their advice they say your option is not correct. It is just to be fooling to a trapped client and adopting the delay tactics. Thereafter I tried to contact Manager customer services on her mobile but to my dismay intentionally or otherwise her mobile is always switched off. Hence I was left with no alternative; I have nowhere to go, system being so harassing & impractical.I extremely repent buying IFB machine since the after sales services are nil.This pain is after having the AMC. Please do not buy IFB products since they are not customer centric.
I have a IFB Senator Washing Machine which is about 3 years old. The same is under AMC for the 2nd year and is not working from Jan 30, 2010 onwards.
I had given a compliant on IFB Phone No.[protected] on Jan 30, with Ref No. 40804600. To my surprise the compliant seemed to have closed. Again lodged a complaint on Feb 9 with Ref No. 4095945. The machine is still not repaird even on March 3 10. I have been calling one Mr Saravanan, Cell No.[protected] and Mr Parthasaraty No.[protected] both numbers given by IFB - who seldom answer the phone, I have also sent several SMSs to these numbers and keep calling the IFB Call Centre and if answered the assurance will be given that the same will be repaired in a day or two.
The call centre also gave me their chennai land line number[protected] there is no one to answer
Don't know what to do. Effectively the machine is down for over 32 days
Having bought a show piece wondering what to do. Is IFB a headless organisation or they think just with the history of the brand name their products will be sold today and in the future

IFB Washing Machine — Lack of service and response
Washing machine is under AMC and complaint no. 4171501 was registered on 22 Feb. Service person visited on 24 Feb to identify the prob as damaged power cable and front door closure and said will be back with spares to replace. Since then despite several phone calls to customer care and numbers provided by customer care of IFB service personnel, the parts have not been replaced. washing m/c — Suggestion
In Dec.2009, I ordered for Body & Top & paid in advance. A piece of defective body was delivered which I rejected. A fresh pc was delivered in Jan. 2010 which was fitted on 17.02.2010. It was observed then only that Top was not supplied. Till date it's pending. Complaint No. 4093412.Now my suggestion is to IFB Marketing, Quality, Production, Despatch & the Corporate Deptts.:- Should a complaint be pending so long. If not why & how it has happened? Why the complaint was not escalated? That means there is something seriously wrong / missing in the systems. Or it is a usual practice in IFB. If not, a look into the systems is must. Out sourced vendors are also not serious about the customers; except saying "I'm very sorry & you will be attended immediately."[protected] informs me to call Delhi Zone Manager Ms. Ankita Srivastva who in turn informs me that I'm only South Delhi Incharge & your area is not under me. (Wrong information at Customer Care) I don't know whom to contact as the service providers are of no use in attending / contacting Corporate problems. How a poorly painted body is despatched? (Prodn & Quality Deptt.) There is no packing hence damaged in transit. (Despatch to study such complaints) When a complaint is pending since 3 days or as may be decided; it should escalated to higher level. (Service Deptt / marketing Deptt.) If so many dis satisfied customers, complaints, grey areas are there then Corporate is to think on a bigger scale or picture. I'm sending this at 12:02 on 09.03.2010. The reply time (Response Time) will confirm health of systems placed in IFB Ltd. If there is any standard, it can be compared.
Waiting for an earlyt action.
I had called IFB service man to replace the hose. He told he will get the part and come but has not turned up till date. He is not attending his mobile also. I am not able to use the machine since 2 months. When once I got him on line he told part (hose) is not available. And the service centre works only from 10 am to 6 pm. I can't go and get the part since my office hrs is upto 6pm and is away from u'r centr. Its sad that though the IFB washing machine is good the service and response to customer call is very poor.

I GOT ifb washing machine in 1996 and is working in a good condition. To service my machine i put it aims and after six months of being in aims no one is come to do service once also. Now when we are having a problem on calling them everyday no one is responding. I will be very frank in saying that the IFB washing machine service is very very poor. please do not go for aims i[censored] hv this machine.
I would like to notify IFB on this first and i'm CC ing customer service to take a look at these complaints.

We had purchased washing machine 10 yrs back. Machine is vibrating so heavily that gives a feeling that machine frame may break. Service engr came but he could not do anything.
My IFB washing maching is under repair and it is in AMC validity. My complaint No. is 3882100. I have booked the compling in December 2009. No steps have been takend from the customer care centre. They have repeatedly telling "to-day, tomorrow" we will solve your broblem. But no action has been taken from their end. Please do the speedy action.

Also on 6th February the On/Off Button got removed and the machine’s bottom got removed . We immediately registerd a new complaint (Complaint Number:4112894) to your customer care. Stil the issue is pending and we have made 20-25 calls incl. 5 calls made today no Action taken.
1) Your franchisee “Shri Kailash Enterprises, Valasaravakkam, Chennai” is one of the worst team even I have seen . Worst customer care and service. If possible I would suggest to cancel their Franchisee.
2) Request you to kindly take back my machine and I would consider this to be a heavy loss for me.
Please note that I still have an extended warranty till Aug 2010. In warranty period itself its worst to see such a kind of service.

IFB Washing Machine — IFB Elena Machine Caught Fire
I bought an IFB Elena washing machine sometimes back. There were lots of problems with the machine and I was always busy with the customer care service. (Making calls, then waiting for the engineer, then facing some new problem, then again making call and so on....)Situation became worst when the machine caught fire only after 24 yours of the service. I guess that there was some loose point left within the machine by the service engineer and it sparked when it was on load. About 10 cloths were semi burnt within the machine but somehow we managed to douse the fire.
Now the real problem starts. After making call to the customer care, they sent someone to check the machine after 3 days. He told that he has prepared the report and will send someone with the spare parts to repair the machine. My paid AMC was from March 2008 - Feb 2009. This incident was somewhere in June 2008.
I am waiting for the service engineer since then. Hundreds of calls have been made to the customer care, Faridabad office, Delhi office, some senior persons etc. The situation is as it is. Every time I make call, I am told that they are sending someone. But it never happens. I have also been told that they have changed their Faridabad service franchisee and now my problem will be taken care. But still I am waiting.
Now I am just waiting to get some time from my hectic business schedule, so that I can take up this matter into the consumer court.
