IFB Rsquo;s Microwave Model No. 30sc2 — Urgent complaint against IFB Microwave

I bought IFB’s MicroWave Model No. 30SC2 on 23.08.09 from Ashoka
Trading Co., Shop No. 46-47, Sector-16 Market, Faridabad-121002, But
from last month(Oct 09) this Microwave is not working properly, from
20.10.09 to till 10.11.09 I tried many times to call their Authorised
service person PRADEEP SINGH RWAT, his mobil No. is [protected]
(Ref.given by the dealer initially), on every call he gave commit me to
come, but he didn’t come .
Finally I called to IFB service center on 15.11.09 and post a request
regarding the same, my request number is 3746177, they told me that
within 24 hours their engineer will call you up and fix up the meeting
to come but he didn’t called up. On 23.11.09. IFB person ( Naval
Kishore) come to just checked the microwave. He said that he has to
replace a part in Microwave, which he will be available tomorrow. So he
will come tomorrow for part replacement but he didn’t come next day.
Finally, he came on 25.11.09 and unscrewed the whole microwave and
finally got to know that he brought wrong parts. Again he said that
he’ll come tomorrow with right parts and he came on 26.11.09 after
spending 2 hours he could not make it repaired. He didn’t gave me any
receipt or any document which I can be carry as a proof for future. My
Microwave is still not working. He was not acting like a professional.
That’s why when he came next day to repair again I didn’t allow him to
open it.

All this process was very pathetic and painful. I spent a lot of time
and money to call them to resolve this matter.


Kindly take necessary action to resolve this matter.

machine leaking due to rat attack. registered complaint at customer care almost one month back. technicians came twice. Say they dont have the spare of the drain pump

I have purchased IFB washing machine Model Elite 5kg from IFB industries LTD, Chandigarh in June 2008. The machine is under warranty. I have lodged complaint at Chandigarh Service centre Sector 38. Despite of my repeated requests no ne is attending the complaint for the last one one month. Kindly help me.

My elite automatic IFB washing machine giving problem. I want to kno about service provider in the city Satna in Madhya pradesh.

IFB 24hours help line is waste . I registered a compliant on 26/01/10 the compliant no is 4070053. Nobody is attending the compliant and I am unaware to whom to contact. the helpline persons are telling daily one ph no and your problem will be solved by today. I astonish why should I phone any other no when i contact the helpline no. THE IFB SERVICE PERSONNEL ARE DEAF AND DUMB AND HAVING BUFFALOSKIN TOWARDS THE SERVICE..think twice if you want to buy the ifb product. one more thing i am daily giving a compliant in ifb web compliant page and I gave the customer feed back form several times which is addressing the president and CEO of the Ifb. but in vain.they are not at all responding, dont go for ifb this is personal experience. i took lightly this type of comment in the web when i bought the product.

From reading the comments above, I realize that I am not the only person who is facing problems with IFB washing machine servicing. Not only does IFB's service sucks but they are big time crooks. I had a Ex Plus IFB machine which has being leaking for the past 3 months now. When I called the IFB service personnel for repair of the same, after repeated reminders he turned up only to take a huge sum of money for the replacement of some faulty part. He has taken around 2000/- bucks from me and never came back to repair the machine. The service center is not even bothered about what happened and is supporting the person who took the money instead of taking actions.Its a disgust to see such level of cheapness from a brand like IFB. I would recommend not to buy IFB machines ever.

Purchased in 20/09/08. first complaint was rejistered on 5/8/08 Ticket no. 3342450 machine totaly not runing after problem is solved. after 5 months again problem with machine. from 16/02/10. machine is accepting water but its not running. not atall intrested in ur service please replace the machine or try to refund. this is the perement solution sugested by me.

I had lodged a complaint for my exe+ washing machine on 2 Feb 2010 and the executive attended to the complaint on 5 Feb. He said the machine needed a replacement of drum and motor which he would ger positively by 8 Feb, but till date no one has turned up despite repeated reminders. I keep calling the customer care phone numbers and have also contacted the local service centre but to no avail. I must say that customer support is really poor despite charging exorbitantly for the AMC

IFB Washing Machine — DEFECT NOT BEEN RECTIFIED AND HARRASMENT CAUSED TO THE FAMILY OF ARMY PERSSONEL

1. I Sub M Selvaraj is currently posted in Rangiya (Assam) a counter insurgency area.

2. My family is residing in No-80, 2nd Street, T S Krishna Nagar, Mugappair, Chennai-600037.

3. I had bought a IFB fully automatic washing machine for Rs. 26000/- (Rupees twenty six thousand only) from M/S Jayam & Co, Chennai on Oct 2009. Washing machine is in warranty period.

4. My washing machine is not working since past 2 weeks. I have been lodging complaints but the complains were not registered. Finally I made it register in customer care the Regd No is 4128664 and was Regd on 10 Feb 2010. Since, then no representative has reported from the service centre. It has been a very sourfull journey dealing with the staff of IFB.

5. Dispute of my repeated requests IFB is not attending to my complaints and causing a lot of mental harassment to my family, who is putting up alone in Chennai.

6. It is requested that the case may please be treated on priority and no further harassment is caused.

I fully agree with him .My grievance is that on 5th feb i registered acomplaint with the customer care service about the machine jumping on load. the service person came on 8th feb and noted that the rigid clamp holding the suspension gave away from the body and requires welding before replacing the suspensions.The machine has to be taken for welding and all the charges are extra.
i told him to communtcate in writing the cost so that i will make a decision and inform. Till date no reply .when i approached your customer care centre they asked me to contact your chennai manager and no response.

i have not renewed the AMC since no m/c was done during the period except one breakdown call.(changing the belt and preesue switch)

On 4-11-09 itself while changing the pressure starter i told the person attending that the machine jumps while spinning . he examined the suspensions and told me that the suspensions require replacement and advised me to file a complaint after 60 days.Meanwhile thie breakdown happened.Had it been replaced by you immediately after your personnel's observation this would have not happened.Then how it is fair on you to ask me to bear the expenses when the AMC is in force?
I sincerely hope i will get a positive response this time. By the by i will inform that no cleaning of the inner comportment was done by your personnel when the AMC is in force.and only B/D was attended.

i have complaint on ur service centeron IFB washing machine from(22, 23, 24, 25)of this month. .
we need water supply tube to the machine.still noboby responsed us for the complaint.i am not satisfied with ur service.

This is Karuppaiah from Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu. On last august 2009 i bought IFB front loading washing machine. Till now no service persons come and assembling the washing machine and till now they don't show any demos.

I called lot of times but no services persons coming. I decided to return the washing machine. I heard IFB is good product. I agree product is good but customer support is very bad. It will affect your production in future. So do the needful to the customer.

Attending person makes lot of excues and take many days before attending a complaint

i had purchased IFB Elite washing machine.there is problem in washing machine. Nearly more than 30 technicians has come to view the problem, still cannot able to identify the problem, I have been tracking them past 4 months. No reply . franchise/customer negligence is the important factor.there is no response for complaints and e mails as well. In website there is no proper information for escalation.You cannot get spare parts in this world, you have to throw this washing machine, once it gets repaired. so stop recommending this to your friend and neighbour.please think, before buying the IFB products.
