IFB WASHING MACHINE — Very Poor Service After Sales

Dear Sir,
Kindly tell me whats my fault if I purchase IFB washing machine. I have purchased the machine on[protected]from Garg Sales, Patiala) and wait for the installation and demo.They are saying that we shall provide the demo with-in 48 hours but nobody came to my home even after 10 days of purchase.

I am very sorry to say that on[protected] service person came to my home at near about 5pm, and he dont know for what he is here.i.e we are asking the dealer for installiation and demo of the washing machine and IFB service person came here to attend the customer complaint(as mentioned on the job card no. SE/10/410) for checking that machine is not working.I dont know what is this, i cant expect such kind of things from such a reputed company.

After spenting rupees 23000/- one day[protected] me and my wife both take leave from our job and wash the clothes by hand shame on IFB service.
Now there is water leakage started from the machine and the rubber of the door closer is getting hard. I sent my complaint on[protected] and till now[protected] nobody contact me. and today my machine also start dancing while spinning.
So i request all the people "do not purchase the IFB washing machine"

We have purchased the IFB Washing Machine(Fully Automatic), but we are facing some problem, We have launched a complaint, but Still it not working.

I bought IFB Washing Machine through Defence quota the official receipt No.39700 dated 18th June2008 through the purchaser name one Mr. S.Panneerselvam MCM by paying D.D No.901642 dated 18th June 2008 from IOB Chennai 9 (i.e at Secretariat.

I am facing same problem with my washing machine. Last 20 days they have not repaired my machine which is under warranty. Even talking to higher authority nothing has materialised.

My earnest request to all the keen buyers please don't purchase any IFB product. Their after sales support is miserable. They are just the box pushers.

I am Vinay Kohli from Faridabad and my Consumer No. is 3304983 and contact No. is [protected], For the last three months we are having problem with the Washing Machine. After switching ON the machine runs for about 25-30 minutes and the stops showing E 01 error. The water does not get drained OFF and the clothes remain wet. In response to our complaints the Technician has been visiting and declaring everything is OK. We have been requesting that the Technician should stay for the complete cycle to observe the error, but they say that everything will be OK and leave. Again I have complained at the call-center today and another new Complaint No. is given. The last two complaint Nos. are : 8439589 and 491923.

It is highlighted that this seems to be a DEFECTIVE PIECE and should be replaced at the earliest. Alternatively I will have to approach the Consumer Court.
