POWER ON BUTTON NOT WORKING MACHINE IS NEW. ALSO WHEN SET TO 60 DEG HOTWASH IT REPEATS THE CYCLE THE LOOP IS NOT GETING CLOSED, MAY BE PCB PROBLEM. IF I PUT ON AT 12AM @ MIDNIGHT IT WILL WAHS TILL EARLY MORNING 6AM SO WE HAVE TO MANUALLY/FORCIBLY PUT OFF THE MACHINE. I REPEAT THIS HAPPEN WHEN ITS SET TO 60DEG HOT WASH MODE.

IFB SENORITA DX — MACHINE NOT WORKING

WHILE SWITCH ON MACHINE THE LED GREEN IN END POINT AND TWO CHILD LOCK LIGHT ARE BLINKING AND THE START BUTTON IN GREEN SIGNAL WE CANNOT ABLE TO START. SEVERAL COMPLAINTS, COMPANY WAS UNABLE TO REPAIR THE MACHINE PROPERLY. THE WARRANTY PERIOD IS NOT YET EXPIRED. ILL RESPONSE FROM THE SERVICE CENTRE TODAY. What is the toll free no. and the what is the Local Conduct no. of the service engineer in Puducherry

    I bought the machine in May 10. To install the machine itself took more than a week, because the local service guys had other priorities.....had to really threaten the Visag coordinator one Ms Vinila that I would approach a Consumer Court, beacuse the loacl I/C one Mr. Srinivas refused to speak or take calls.....that much for IFB's heralded promises.

    On 16 Oct 10, we registered a complaint no. 5277452 with the IFB Call Centre that the machine was not working correctly because it making an abnormal noise nad water tended to overflow from the top and the detergent tray! Till 19th there was no response whatsoever. When Ms Vinila, the Visag coordinator was contacted, she said the guys were on vacation! (sell the product and to hell with the customers, if they have a problem).

    On 21 Oct 10 one fellow came from the Service Centre, who knowledgeably stated that the IC Board was bad and required replacement! He said he will try to be back within three days.

    When nobody turned up, we again contacted the IFB Call Centre who promised prompt action (sitting in Bangalore). None turned up....on 26 Oct another came and dismantled the who machine and concluded that the previous technician had got it wrong and the IC number quoted itself was incorrect.....he also stated that he will be back in three days.....

    When nothing moved, I again called up the most toothless IFB Call Centre during 03-04 Nov 10......who promised immediate action and that he would get Mr. Srinivas to contact me on a war footing.

    I am still waiting and no war or any urgency or customer care from IFB. Not even a courtesy call that they are working on it!

    It looks like IFB's position is, we sold you the machine, it was fine; now fend for yourself!

    Presently, not only do we doubt the quality of the machine supplied, but the very ethics of the Company.......a general search of the Internet throws up numerous such experiences with IFB over the last many years; many in ur portal itself.

    I would like to ask the CEO of the Company, Mr. G. Dasgupta, if he would accept that the washing machine he bought from say LG or SANSUNG give the same experience that we are going thru' with IFB?

    We would like an immediate repairs or a total replacement of the machine with a new-certified-working replacement or total refund of our hard-earned money.

    ifb washing machine senator 6 Kg — not cleaning of clothes

    previously clothes were cleaning properly. But now a days clothes are not cleaning properly and getting wrinkels badly.

    Post this Complaint, Mr. Ramakrishna of IFB, Hyderabad gave a call stating that they will solve the problem by 11 Nov or change the machine. Mr. Srinivas, the Service i/C of IFb, Visag gave a call on 10 Nov and said that they were finding it difficult to repair, in the absence/non-availability of spares. If they cannot repair by 12 Nov 10, they will replace the machine totally!

    Today is 13 Nov 10 and no news from either of the responsible persons of IFB Hyderabad or Visag! That much for promises kept!

      Although ankita and dheeraJ committed but still nobody turned up. As asked by ankita, I kept waiting till 9 pm and wasted my entire day. Despite of my repeated request to provide with escalation matrix there is no revert. I really request top management to intervene. Is there anyway to return IFB products as consumer durables without proper after sales service is good for nothing.

      I have a serious concern with service level of IFB kindly provide me with head customer service mail and contact.

      I have already had a lot of commitments from ankita srivastava, monika, sona, s m enterprises, but no resolution.
      I am sorry to say but IFB does not deserve to be in consumer durable and it was a mistake to buy a IFB Product. If my complaint is not resolved in 24 hrs I'll be forced to approach consumer forum.

        I had complain for leakage of my washing machine which is under AMC on 08.06.2011vide complain No. 503297. No person attended even repeated call to Customer Care.

          I BOUGHT IFB WASHING MACHINE ON[protected]. I WAS TOLD THAT THERE IS SCHEME OF ONE GIFT WHICH YOU WILL GET IN2-3 DAYS. BUT NOW DESPITE MY NUMEROUS VISITS AND PHONE CALL DEALER IS NOT GIVING MY DUE GIFT OF INDUCTION COOKER.HE HAS THREATENED ME DO ANY THING I LIKE.

            I am Ravikumar , Just purchased the machine- ifb - FRONT LOAD by March 2010 only at VGP showroom , Mount Road , within 7 months it get Board problem and they told the Board to be changed , the complaint lodged on 5th oct , till now no response from the service manager , In spite of repeated service complaints through helpline , nothing fruitful , it really make my family to mental agony and mental abuse , the chennai manager doesn't come on the line in both his mobile no. , even message sent - no response , I selected the MNC products thinking the service will be good , but its reverse now , its a good lesson FOR ME for which i have not choosen the indian make- LET THE CONCERNED HIGHER UP LOOK IT TO MY PROBLEM AND SOLVE THE ISSUE RIGHT WAY OTHERWISE WE HAVE TO PUT THE MATTER TO CONSUMER FORUM - PLEASE AVOID SUCH SITUATION

              My name is Lingeswara Rao working in Essar Oil Ltd company. I purchased IFB machine on 8th Sept 10. I was the first person to take this angle type washing machine model in Jamnagar. After installation of the machine, there was no response from the sercing agents. I have asked some accessories like Stand, additionl fittings for pipes, cover, stabilzer etc. In spite of many requests no one responded to my quries.
              My machine is not working, tripping macine immediatly after start of machine. Spinning and then tripping and no washing take place. Machine is under warranty period.
              I am unhappy with the servicing as well as with Machine.
              Please do the needful on urgent basis.

                I am to sorry say that 1 year back I have given my micro oven for servicing to S.K.Assocites Authorised IFB Customer care Centre dated 12/8/2009, till date i havent received postive response from customercare today they responded asusual sayng that they they are working with microwave from past 1 year they promised to deliver with in 2 days .whether it is a zet or air bus to get technical support from abroad,as i said above am going to consumer forum in couple of days with all documents(invoice,servicemaual,service receipt)its up to u to react.who will bear1 year lose and time to time visit to customer care contact my residence secunderabad oldalwal vasavienclave plotno154 phneno [protected],[protected]

                  My microwave 23SC1 is under AMC. Last month i complained( No 5202950) to IFB for some problem with microwave not functioning properly. After repeated reminders, technical staff from IFB came to attend the complaint and had taken the one part PCB on 28th September 2010 with a promise to repair and fix by 1st October 2010.

                  Since then I have made thousand no of calls to IFB customer care and other executives ( Namely Vikas-[protected], Joshi [protected], Mr Dheeraj - [protected]) but to no avail. No one IFB customer care is simpley bothered till now i.e 1st Nov 2010. I have made 3 written complaint on their website as well but no response from anyone.
                  No contact details, address , email id is given anywhere. I am completely in dark that whom to contact and how.

                  Request to help in the matter.

                  IFB MICROWAVE — not hetting any thing

                  micro wave not heating any thing we buy it on 19/11/2007date from spencer at shalimar hazratguj which had closed

                  23SC1 Microwave — Not working

                  23SC1 Microwave is not working since August 2010,gave so many complaints,2-3 technician came and told that mother board is not working.(bought in 2006)
                  Since this model is not in production as they told.
                  Any exchange offer is there, so we want to go for that.

                    I own an IFB Elena for which I also have an AMC.

                    My customer Id is 1576053.

                    I regret to inform that my complaint for machine repair has not been resolved for more than the last 13 days.

                    I lodged a complain on 13th of October (number is not available with me but surely exists in your record) as my machine was making noise but the person from your office said that drain pipe is cut at places due to which the belt had got displaced but I could use the machine. As I used the machine next day it stopped working.

                    I lodged the complain again on 15th October (complain number 5273171) for which technician came and said the motor was not working which he would replace the next day. Next day he came and told me that by mistake he had brought wrong motor and since there is no other motor in stock he would get it as soon as it is available. I again rang up on Saturday (23rd) morning for which I was told that my complaint was shown as closed on 15th itself. So I had to lodge a fresh complain (complain number 5313100) which was forwarded to agency for urgent action. When I rang up the agency they told me that some other engineer will come and they will convey me the time when he will come but neither I received a call nor did the engineer come.

                    On Monday again when I rang up around 10.30 to find out the status I was told that engineer will be coming in an hour. While I was put on hold by lady on phone as she was talking to service engineer I could hear her saying " wo lady motor motor chilla rahi hai" ( that lady is crying motor motor) for which I told her to be at least be respectful to customers. Nobody however turned up the whole day. When I again rang up at your call center some body came in the evening after 6.30 only to tell me that whatever previous engineer had diagnosed was wrong and he will replace the new parts latest by Wednesday (27th October). He promised to do it on 26th itself parts are available and if not then he will call me to tell that. Since I was fed up calling the previous technician who would never pick up the phone I did not take his phone number neither I asked his name.

                    Today when I did not get any person I rang up your call center again. I took the number of your service agency head Mr Bhatnagar. This person had the policy of "offence is the best defense" so he started in a very rude tone and told me not to talk nonsense as he was a busy person and does not have time to listen all this from customers. He asked me (in shouting tone) whether he should send his engineer now or not. He was not even aware that my problem is continuing for last 12-13 days.He was not aware that his engineers and staff have been telling me that they have got motor issued in my name, he did not even know that anybody had visited my place on 25th, and also he said he could not give any assurance by what time my machine will be repaired. His tone was totally unacceptable to any person leave alone a lady.
                    Moreover, the person to be sent now will again check the machine to find out the fault suggesting that whatever previous two persons have checked has not gone into record.

                    These circumstances have forced me to think of moving to consumer forum if my problem is not resolved at the earliest.
                    The behavior of Mr Bhatnagar is not acceptable from a person representing an organisation like yours.

                    Hello Sir,

                    I bought a washing machine from IFB serina model... First poor demo and not fixed properly in washing maching...after that i am using only a day after the washing machine not working due to water not pick from tab...

                    I raise a complaint on 31st Jan 2012, still no one coming to my home and the issue still not resolved...I am so tired on calling your customer care...But, no one responsible on this...

                    Please check ASAP...or will do some otherway...

                      Dear Sir,

                      This is to report a case of sub standard products that I received from IFB. I purchased a IFB senator 6 kg machine barely two months ago and some of the attachments are so poor in quality that they have come off! The tap adapter’s rubber is torn, the knob is broken. The stand/trolley that I bought to is giving problems. When I informed IFB about it (Complaint no: 5337607 / ID no: 815784) they promised prompt action. Instead a guy called Manoj Kumar called who spoke in a rude and insulting tone. He said it did not matter if the machine was two months old and I should be ready to pay up for things that might be replaced.

                      I wonder if this is the training that IFB gives to its employees and staff. They need to learn from Samsung a thing or two in customer service. I CANNOT IMAGING THAT IN THIS AGE WHERE SO MUCH OF EMPHASIS IS LAID ON CUSTOMER SERVICE, THIS IS THE WAY IFB STAFFERS SPEAK WITH CUSTOMERS.

                      One they supply products which are sub standard and then employees speak with customers in a manner that is dereogatory - I DID NOT KNOW THIS IS WHAT IFB STANDS FOR. I have no option but to drag them to consumer court now.

                      ITS A SHAME THAT THIS IS THE WAY IFB GOES AROUND DOING BUSINESS!

                        I bought the microwave 30CS2 sr no 000594 on[protected] from Napal Agencies ,Panipat. The induction cooker supplied with above having no sr no ;create doubt about product authenticity.
                        Also it is very pinching to me ,the qwality of the sheet of the bowl supplied with . Most of the things cooked in it tends to spoil due to burning at bottom side .It was a matter of Rs 20-30 only to use slightly better sheet for making cooking bowl. It has become better if company give a detailed USER GUIDE with the product.
                        My wife is unable to use the microwave wihtout demonstration at home at Mathura.

                            This is to bring to your notice the difficulties we have had to suffer and the deplorable state of affairs of IFB Company that we have encountered after having bought an IFB 6 kg capacity washing machine, model name-Senator.

                            The following is the details of the purchase:

                            Shop name: V2 Appliances,
                            76, Aurobindo place New Delhi
                            Bill no: 710282
                            Billing Date: 25/7/10
                            Installed on: 26/7/10

                            Withing two months of this purchase, the machine has completely stopped functioning. The Customer care personnel, who came to check up the machine, said that a part had stopped functioning. It is very unfortunate when one makes a purchase worth Rs 27,000/- from one of the most reputed manufacturers of washing machines in India and has to suffer this fate. I fail to understand how, could a washing machine, having gone through stringent checking in the manufacturing company, claiming great quality, stop functioning within a few days.
                            To our utmost horror, we were informed that the part that had stopped functioning was not available and it would take time to acquire the same, but he was unable to give a time frame as to when this part would be available. It has already been a week since this incident, but we still have not received any news on the availability of the spare part and continue to suffer. The Complaint no. is 5281941 and the name of Customer care personnel is Bharat Bhushan.

                            Today after several days of talking to customer care personnel Ms Anuradha at helpline[protected], a person from the company came to repair the washing machine. However, he brought with him the wrong part. When I spoke with Anuradha again, she told me that she cannot be accountable to the 9 lakh customers IFB has, and that since the person who had come to first see the washing machine was on leave, she could not do anything more.

                            I fail to understand how could a company hire such inept staff, who do not have the knowledge to inspect a washing machine properly and give a correct report. With no further information for your customer care personals about the spare part and terrible behavior, I am still left with a washing machine which is not working .

                              Dear Sir,
                              I had purchase a washing machine (Model Digital 5.5 Kg, S. No. 000363) on 26.06.2005 from Ghiya's, 131, Bhagat Bhawan, M.I.Road, Jaipur. Your technician came on 28.06.2008 for installation and Demostration.
                              At the time of installation the machine had vibration and sound. I had clearly written on Job card /Installation sheet no. J/6?627 for refund of money or return back the machine. Your technician told that this machine has vibration. Senior Technician will come and remove the problem Your senior technician came and balance the machine. After balancing the vibration reduced, but fully not remove. After one week the problem again continue. Your technician came, but not resolve the problem. Due to vibration, the hose pipe and leg (Balancing screw) broken and they simply remove and told please don't get any tension, the machine is under warranty, so we replace the parts without cost. I have complain many times, but i am very sorry to inform you till day the machine has much vibration and sound. I hope this vibration will broke the body. So, I request you please replace the machine or remove the problem as early as possible. I had complaint on 21.07.2010, but no tecnician came till date

                              IFB WASHING MACHINE — Heavy Vibration

                              At high speed when washing the cloths and at the time of stoping high speed machine vibrates heavily. I am living in BAZPUR and requested so many times to fix this problem but no service engineer visit to attend the complaint.

                                I am Nayan Jhabakh from Chennai. My IFB washing machine mechanic advised me to fix a stand, a stabilizer for longer life, a water softener gadget etc. I complied to his request so as to have product serving me better. I am in a jeopardy that the consumer goods dealership showrooms do not mention a word about all these extra attachments while making a sincere effort to sell the products. Thereafter the machine was under AMC for its care. The water kept dropping drop by drop and it was never cared. Later I did not have anyone from the IFB to remind me of the expiry of the AMC. I had to call and run pillar to post to even know the IFB customer care numbers as the numbers given to me were no longer in use.
                                I got the AMc renewal done on 06.11.2011 and the service technician told me that I needed to pay for the hose and another rubber part. I paid under protest.
                                On 03.12.2011 stones started falling down from the machine and the process ended abruptly with a huge noise. I lodged a complaint on the toll free number. The service mechanic came and attended after I reminded them on the sameday (late evening). He told that the stone needed to be changed. No other problem was mentioned. He told that he would rectify the problem the next day.
                                I had another pair of technicians come on the 06.12.2011 with the stone and a plastic and service the machine and then
                                I was told that the rubber in the front needs to be changed which costs about Rs. 650 and that AMC does not cover the rubber parts. It covers only electrical... I agreed to the cost and also requested for the descaling process.The job was completed. The service personnel left the machine on running mode for the descaling process to be completed. The process did not finish till 11.50 pm. The machine kept running and running. Assuming that there is some fault, I switched it off.
                                On 07.12.2011, I started the machine to clear the laundry. The machine refused to start. After long wait I lodged a complaint on the 07.12.2011 in the morning and was told that the service technician would attend to it in the next 24 hours. Till 08.12.2011 morning there was no response or even a courtesy call from the service centre. None have responded till this minute of my protest. responded to my complaint. The clothes in the machine are wet since then.
                                I was told that their personnel will call me in two hours, but it is five hours since my call, and nobody cares to attend to my complaint. If the service is so bad, I think the IFB can stop production of such and those products which it cannot service within the promised time frame. I am forced to give the laundry collected for 5 days to professional launderers for a huge cost. I request that the IFB takes responsibility of the defective service and also make a total refund of the laundry charges, costs and damages, and compensation with all costs thereafter. I would also be grateful if a standby is provided till the problem is rectified to my satisfaction.
                                My IFB washing machine is still under AMC period.of three years. All the services to the machine promised was/is never delivered by the agency. They promised a regular check up every 6 months and rectification of any problems whenever it arose.
                                Regular service is just a rubbish.
                                1. The first kind of service was the mechanic comes and in 2 minutes the entire job is over. He checks the coin box drain, the the soap dispensing shelf and the buttons. He suggests a descalining with 2 packets of the powder for a cost. And offcourse, never forgets to get the customers signature.
                                2. The second staff would call up to confirm the address, promise to come for a regular check-up after fixing the date and time and never turns up. No courtesy call that he would be late / not come. Apologies are very far from them.

                                Should not the Company wake up and take action to the agencies callous attitude of not performing the services after collecting the huge AMC amounts ? Should they not be penalized heavily and make them refund the entire amount charged to customers in the guise of fraudulent title of AMC? The agency deserves zero rating !

                                  I have lodged washing machine complaint on 20.9.2010 vide complaint no. 5135196 for replacing the PULLI and motor. The Engineer said that the company is not providing PULLI or out of stock since 20.9.2010. It is very strange that IFB, a MNC, has no small part PULLI in their stock. On the other hand, the customer care persons provided the names and telephone nos. of the serniors but they have no courtsy to attend the same. The bell of the phone ringing ...... & ringing.
                                  Sir,
                                  There is anybody gentleman in the company to instruct the concerned official to rectify the problem and get the machine OK.
                                  In these circumstances, what is the reputation of the company for purchasing the appliances in the future. Till today no one move for resolve the problem.

                                  I have purchased IFB Washing Machine At Chhindwara on 16th October 2005. Now it has some problem .I therefore request to kindly provide service at CHHINDWARA.

                                  the annual maintance contract is valid and legaly in existance .the machine get out of order on 12.10.2009.,lodged the complain on call centere ,attended ,found to have motor defective ,promised to repair within in a week ,mechanics came after reminder on 24.10.2009 ,changed some sub-standard parts and tried to start it but it again got defective ,perhaps mr solanki the mechanic has got the new parts from office and might have exchanged it with some substandard parts or someone else parts ,it again went out of order ,and repeadly reminded on call center ,please verify the complaints history.
                                  on 23.12.2009 another fault and machine stopped working completly ,then the consumer compalint number 3910438 ,entered but till date no rectification of pending complaints have been done ,
                                  the consumer is suffering as there is intense cold and machine is out of order .
                                  rang to all concerened but none appears to bother to hear and rectify the machine
                                  poor services.

                                    I am having IFB FRONT LOAD washing machine and it is under AMC. On 11.10.2010 i booked complaint vide no 5252396 against customer code 1224629. Problem is surf is not consuming in washing machine while running machine . Till today no person attended to resolve this problem.When i approached customer code they given one no [protected] of Mr. Nagender. He is not lifting phone from 2 days. Again today when is approached customer care they given another local land line no[protected] & 39187606. These phones are also not lifting. Hence i request you to kindly attend the same and resolve the problem immediately. If not done immediately there is no way i have to go to consumer firm to resolve this problem.
                                    So please attend and resolve the problem immediately.

                                      my 8 tear old executive plus had problems the drum was gone i lodged a complaint on 14th oct 5268319 the service person attending said that as i was not on amc the service would cost 6500 or 7000 if through the company and if i pais 4000 he would do it for me i asked him if the spares would be original he said he would get original parts by billing it on the name of someone who has just entered into amc i thought this fraud had to be exposed someone has to bell the cat now it is the duty of higher level authorities to take action

                                      AMC's offered by companies are misused maximum by the service personnel my aqua guard brought about 7 years ago (7200 rs.suction model) was rarely used as i was abroad then when i came back i wanted it to be serviced and i called my nearest service center at perambur chennai the man came and charged me about 400 (i am not very sure )for the carbon and said that if i entered into an amc he would change the carbon 3 times and service it even changing the candle i was wooed into entering the amc but the next one year no one turned up and nothing happened i did lodge a complaint with the service center but no use they offer to send someone else fearing of being cheated again i refused now my aqua guard just stands in my kitchen as a show piece

                                        My dishwasher has been out of order for 3 months now since July 2010. Repeated complaints have elicited poor response. The service company (Sumukha Enterprises, Bangalore) keeps saying they are coming - out of 6 times, they come 1 time and do not fix the issue at hand. The only time I have got a prompt response is when I renew the AMC. The come in 1 day to obtain payment.

                                        I want to have my dishwasher serviced when I log a complaint. The present condition of service is not acceptable.
                                        IFB - You need to do something about this. The number of other 'Poor Service' Complaints on this site should be an eye opener for you. You also need to respond to complaints made on your site.
