I have a IFB digital 6K washing machine. IFB support the customer on call basis for out of warranty machines. I am shifting the house from one area to other area. IFB has the procedure that they use to lock the washing machine before we shipping.
I have raised a ticket on 24th April 2012 (Ticket Number: 8717045) with IFB and clearly requested that I need the service on 28th April (Locking the Washing machine) as shipping scheduled on 29th to New address. The service technisian called me the next day and I have explained the same to him that I am need this locking service on 28th April. He requested me to raise one more ticket on friday to take this ticket.
I have called IFB customer care on Friday night and registerd my request. I was keep following up with customer care number, they have provided me the service center land line number and contact person (Raghavendra). I spoke to him twice, second time when I was speaking with him he was asking for the warranty details I have told him that it is out of warranty, he said that they will charge either Rs. 331 or Rs. 351, I said I am fine with that. Finally he confirmed me that that the technisian visit my home between 4:00 and 4:30 and do the needful. I was waiting, waiting for the person, since no one is turned till 6:00 PM, I have called IFB again, the response from customer care is good and they have provided me the point of contact number, I have called his number but it was responding with busy, I was waiting for his response but he did not responded back. Finally, I dont have any option and I am from technical background, gone through the manual and locked the machine. As planned my packers came on 29th April 2012, and safely moved to my new house.
I got a call @ around 12:30 PM on sunday from the service provider which is of no use for me. I conveyed my message that I have done my self for the movement.
Without providing the service they have closed the ticket. I have not requested them to close the ticket.
Is this the way of service does IFB provide the customer?
All are know that IFB washing machines are costly and this is digital 6KG. and we trust that IFB take care on the service, but if they have such service providers they the customer is in trouble and I dont want to recommend the product to any of my friends and relatives.
IFB having the failure in identifying the service provider.
Finally, I am totally disappointed the way the Serivce provider spoke to me. He said that you do want ever you want it. Is this the way does the person speak with the customer?

IFB executive plus — programme working not properly
Since purchasing Machine we could not use the machine properly due to so many complaint. Inefficient technician came and open the door and doing some thing and gone away. During the time he could not find the fault now a day itself. Till the date now i was complaint to service office and also Head office, (last ticket number 2397232 and 2428244) but But not yet come any efficient technician. What can i do. If you not send efficient technician finally i go to Consumer court. No other way.The technician also broken my machine door also. I was report so many times, but not Responsible
