THIS IS NARAYANAN. I BOUGHT AN IFB WASHING MACHINE SENORITA MODEL ON JANUARY 24TH 2010. THE WASHING MACHINE IS IN REPAIR SINCE NOVEMBER 24TH 2011. I CALLED AND COMPLAINED TO THE DEALER FROM WHOM I BOUGHT THE WASHING MACHINE. HE GAVE ME THE SERVICEMEN' S PHONE NUMBER. I CALLED THE PERSON HE CAME AND SAID THAT THE WASHING MACHINE'S HEATER IS REPAIR. HE SAID IT WILL TAKE 1WEEK AND ONCE THE SPARE PARTS COMES FROM THE COMPANY I SHALL COME AND CHANGE THE PARTS. WE KEPT ON CALLING HIM.BUT HE SAYS THE SPARES SHOULD COME FROM GOA. I DONT KNOW HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE THE SPARES TO REACH MY PLACE FROM GOA. I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHEN THEY ARE UNABLE TO REPAIR THEIR PRODUCTS WHY THE HELL THEY ARE GIVING THE DEALERSHIP IN SUCH PLACES...... I DONT KNOW HOW LONG THEY ARE GOING TO TAKE TO REPAIR MY MACHINE.....

    Dear Sir

    I have purchased New IFB washing machine senetor model From M/S SHARPTRONICS Vide invoice no 42564 dt 14.08.2011.
    After installation we have following problem in a week time leakage .
    01, Leakage problem service engineer came and dismadled full machine and serviced.
    02, 3rd week machine vibration and it was traveling from one room to another room then technician came and serviced .
    03, Heater not working not rectified.
    04, After that simultaneously on off switch not working.

    I have filled more than 100 complaints in call center no use. Contacted local service manager and explained full story and requested for replacement.
    The Inefficient manager he sujusted me to File a suit against IFB Washing machine but replacement is not possiable . Please take necessary action to replace the machine.
    After purchasing a new machine within 3 months we have used only 10 times and past 1 and half months total machine is dead , please see the quality of the machine they manufacturer.

    Substandard machine with inefficient performing call center with no response for service with usual marketing eye wash. I strongly recomend all the customers not to buy any of the product of IFB.

    IFB — non working of machine

    i have puchased a ifb washing machine model no 8062 from razzle dazzle . a complaint was lodged for non function of ifb fully automatic machine which is under waranty on 14-1 , 15-1,16-1,17-1,18-1,19-1 but till today no service engineer has been attending i have been calling their call centre and local service centre but no response from them will you please look into this matter

      I am an IFB customer.........using front load washing machine for more than 4 years. Initially i had to struggle a lot to avail the AMC of the washing machine. I have been availing the AMC through out. In the month of december I had a problem with machine. I got a complaint registered and the service engineer came and changed the part and went away. After couple of days the service engineer give's me a call and says that I have to pay Rs. 770...................the cost of the part changed. Why ?// - because AMC of the machine got expired in on 31st Aug'2011. Surprisingly........I didn't received any call from company saying that my AMC has expired and is due for renewal.

      My question is - IFB being a multinational company and claim that they honor and understand customer needs..................don't they have simple system to track the AMC expiry date's of all customer's (who so ever has availed). Customer can miss the dates with a belief that company is their to remind them ( as IFB claims to be more service oriented company and normally it happens in most of the service oriented companies). There are service centre's dedicated to respective zones and clusters. They must be having a data base of thier customers alongwith AMC expiry dates. They can give call to remind renewal of AMC. Other companies do so. But no body called and informed me about the renewal.

      Eventually I called the service engineer and paid him through cheque. Again after couple of days i got a call from the service engineer saying that - I have to pay in cash rather than cheque. He has been following me for the same for past couple of days. My question is -

      1. If IFB is talking about customer service orientation...blah.blah.....blah, (from the above example I dont see any customer service part being imparted properly), where is it in my case ? Or IFB should clearly mention in a letter that.......................... we dont have a system of reminding customer's about the renewal.
      2. Why I should not pay through cheque ? Why service centre is (AEON - ghaziabad) not accepting cheque? Why they are dmanding cash ?

      The above incident clearly indicates that IFB is not service oriented and it is ONE OF THE companies which has entered into market to sell its product by false promises.

      So - before purchasing IFB product, Please be careful as they are not service oriented. You have to maintain your own status report.

      i have a 6 kg IFB Digital machine which is not working from lst 24 days. I am under AMC with IFB . Persons from IFB have come & seen the machine & assured it will be repaired in 24 hour today 22 days have passed & situation is same. Service manger Bharat ( cell no [protected]) & his immediate boss (Cell no [protected]) have now stopped taking phone. complaint no is 10591214

      I do not know what is to be done to get the washing machin repaired

        Dear Sir,

        I had purchased washing machine model no. AW6563 on 20th October 2010 from M/s Pankaj Electronics, 9 DAV School Building, Main Road Green Park, New Del hi 110016, vide Invoice No. 9387 dated 20/10/2010, Delhi. Machine started giving grinding noise in the month of June 2011. I immediately requested your customer care centre to repair the same. Since June 2011 till date six times service centre mechanics have come and replaced (A) Axle, (B) Springs three times of different models but never fixed springs of the machine? The problem stands as it is till date. The details of complaint numbers are given below:

          I have purchased a fully Automatic Front load washing machine Model Serena Sx 5.5 Kg(IFB Brand) on 10/12/11 through a dealer M/s Penon Digital World ,Sector-5,Gurgaon vide cash memo No-073835 dt.10/12/11,Rs.20,500/- but unfortunately same day when it delivered at my house and when I opened the box,It seems as used and heavy scratches on the top as well as on door of drum.For this I complaint to Dealer,Customer Centre,Gurgaon and Area Manager Mr.Surender Bhardwaj.But very sorry to say that after several call to Mr.Bhardwaj he pick the mobile by mistake and when I brief the matter,he offer that he will change the top of the machine but I refuse the proposal and insist for replace the unused machine.for this he told that you have not purchased the whole company and they will not liable for this.Even Mr.Bhardwaj used abused language and misbehaved with me which I recorded in my mobile phone.I never aspect that such a Multinational company having low standard marketing executive ,who don't know how to attend the consumers and customers.
          Kindly look into the matter and replace my machine as early as possible and punish the staff which involve in the supply of defective piece to me and give the charge sheet to Irresponsible executive of Area Manager as Mr.Surender Bhardwaj.

          ifb wm serena sx 5.5 kg — defective machine supplied

          the machine is less than 2months old and has developed serious problem and the new product should be replaced keeping in mind the 4 year warranty and the brand loyalty . I do not expect this from a brand of this size.

            Sir,
            We purchased a washing machine on13/12/2008. As it was leaking we made coplaint on6/9/2011. after two months one boy cme and replaced the tub hose and collected Rs.500/- for which there was no bill or noreceipt. He told it should not be run immediately. The next day when switched on it was not running. again complaints and phone calls . Then one fellow came and replaced the common PCB. and charged Rs.1000/- After that it started ,leasking again. It seems that fellow did'nt fitted the tub hose properly. we made repeated complaints but to no avail. so far nobody turned up .If IFB do not have technicians to attend repairs why they sell their products. One technician says we donot have time to attenddemo of new machines and there is no time to attend rep[airs. If we contact consumer care section, they give phone numbers of customer care office at Pollachi which do not exist. I request to ask them to attend repairs otherwise stop selling machines in and arround Pollahi.

              Sub: nonredressal of comolaint inspite of several reminders.

              I bought an IFB washing machine from Exult Agency Private Ltd(Unit - JOY electronics), 39/37A, G.T.Road, Parbirhata, Burdwan. Ph:[protected] / 2542309). e-mail: [protected]@gmail.com on April 01, 2009. Thereafter owing to unbearable sound I complained verbally to Joy Electronics. Finding no response I complained to Sanjay Sharma of Durgapur, who were to give the maintenance service as informed to us by the person who came to commission our machine on April 03, 2009.

              Sri. Sanjay Sharma never made any arrangement to attend my washing machine. So finally I found the customerservice number from the manual and registered my complaint on March 05, 2011. Again I was referred to Sanjay Sharma by customerservice. As M/s.Sanjay Sharma did not respond favourably so the customer servive then gave another contact no. for Kolkata[protected] . The Kolkata centre gave several numbers none of whom did response favourably. Finally one madam named Preety was available on Sanjay Sharma's Centre([protected]). I conveyed the details of my machine problem and also the the customerservice guidance regarding their attending our complaint. She agreed to send some staff very soon. A team was sent for inspection. Nothing much really happened within the next couple of weeks, moreover Sanjay Sharma's phone was never atteneded to any calls actuated from my end.
              This time the Kolkata Centre directed me to call Mr. Arup Goyal, who assured me every assistance. He also assured me that rectification would be done free of cost as my complaint was within the warranty period. He asked me to call Mr. Avik Bhattacharjee service incharge at Burdwan. Mr. Avik Bhattacharjee kept promising to send his staff very soon, and that presently they were not available then. Finally his staff did come but for inspection only. Again on reminders he made several excuses that staff not available, or he was out of station, or he would attend the next week. This dilly-dally continued for several weeks. Finally I called Mr.Arup Goyal who wanted to know what was keeping Avik from attending machine. He released the required tumbler/drum and associated spares and sent to Avik Bhattarjee for rectification of my machine. The same were brought in at my residence. However could not be installed for want of some special screws. So they took away the spares brought along with them.
              Mr.Avik Bhattacharjee gave me an offer to rectify the machine on consideration of some money. Again I communicated the same to Mr.Arup Goyal, who assured that I was not required to cough up any money. However, Mr. Avik could never arrange for the screw and I too stopped calling. As all appeared to be farce and hoping against hope.
              In all I remember 4 inspections took place but no rectification measure was ever taken.
              The last time I communicated with Mr. Arup Goyal on December 9,'11. He too appeared to forget the previous scenerio, and said I am required to pay Rs. 6000/- for my second compalint was registered in August'11. So now I have understood the game plan of these people, who were only time passing with me.
              I have decided to go to Consumer forum for redressal of my grievance. And as a last reminder I am conveying you my position before going to consumer forum. Hope you will act favourably to either repay me the entite amount or replace the defective machine, considering the difficulties faced by me.

                IFB serena sx 5.5 kgs — installation

                Purchased washing machine at SRINIVASA ENTERPRISES NELLORE on 02.09.2010 .But it is not installed till date .The service personnel is contacted many times but the response is poor.Still installation is not done .Immediate action required.

                  i filed a complaint against my microwave on 20 th nov or 21 st nov. The tecnician came to my house on 24 th nov n told me that the megacavity i.e. the heating device is not working and the bulb has fused. since my microwave is under 3 year warranty and only 2 years have expired the megacavity will be replaced free of cost and the bulb will be charged at 258 Rs. with a service charge of 167Rs.

                  I agreed to the conditions and asked him when will this be finally repaired.

                  He advised in a day or two the same shall be done.

                  10 days passed by approx. and i did not hear from IFB i complained again in the call center and they told me i will hear soon from an IFB tecnician.

                  again a week approx. has passed and nobody has come to attend my complaint.

                  my complaint no. is 7670395 and my customer id is 1241133.

                  i purchased the microwave on 15.12.09 from Mahajan electronics New Delhi under bill no. 24285.

                  please advise when will my complaint be heard.

                  i got my micrawave past 1 yr 6-7 months ...it got started giving me up problem since its in waraanty ..till dan the fix it and after 1 month it got it again the same problem .....than later on i have the extended AMC for 2 years nd still m pursuin the same problem
                  the engineer came to place to fix it up ....it works fine to 2 -3 days and after that it started givin me same complaints ..this thing is happening with me from past 4 -5 months ..they cant fix up a microwave in that period
                  i complain to almost everyone but still no action has been taken yet
                  please help me in this regard

                  I have bought a microwave oven 30 SRC1 on dated 05.10.2009 from Next reatil eletronic chain, alignaj, lucknow and at the time of instalation of the same, a executive came & open the seal of cartoon of microwave oven and found that the Metal Plate (Tava) was fold & not in workable position. we have complaint the same at very same time to Mr. Pankaj Mishra, sales representative of IFB at Next store, Aliganj, Lucknow, for change of the same & he assured to me to change within 3-4 working days but till today it could not be changed & he is not reponding well.

                  IFB MICROWAVE — no heating done

                  Its been 10 days i have register a complaint about micrwave but inspite of continous call at customer care nothing has been done.it s an example of poor service with 3rd class raiting.

                  I am no where to go now except to get it resolved by local electirician.

                    I Sri Muralidhar residing at S-3, Shanthiniketan Appartments, 5 Cross, Vinayaka Layout, HEBBAL-KEMPAPURA, Bangalore-24, has registered a complaint vide phone no [protected] around 2-3 months back on 19.10.2011. I cant under stand why they are making so much delay . we are in need and request u to get the washing machine repaired immediately. i had met the service centre people at kempapura, bangalore but they replied that wire harness is un available and it should be supplied by the company .i cant understand where is the company and I am an AMC holder and i have almost waited for 3 months . please get the machine repaired at the earliest consider the matter as most urgent.

                      I, V S Jamwal agree to the above regarding horrible service being offered by the IFB for repair of Mic Wave oven at their service center situated at Dharamshala of Disstt. Kangra of Himachal Pradesh. It is complete one month today i.e. on 6th Dec after I offered my MW oven for repair. I was told that they shall be reverting back within three days about the status of my oven but after waiting for about 15 days I contacted myself on phone but the status of my oven was the same and i was given reason regarding non availability of some part and agreed to convey me within two days after repair. But today after complete one month when I rang again to about my oven firstly I was greeted by the phone attendent(she) with the remarks that "Hamein Nahein Pata Hamare Paas bahut se ovens aate hain" but later she asked me to wait for few minutes and she will ring me up to convey the status. But now it is one hr since I talked to her but nothing has been conveyed to me so far. I am feeling cheated and now onward always guide my known persons that not to buy IFB products in future.

                      I bought an IFB Microwave Owen on 31st May 2010. IFB representative came to give us a Demo on 2nd June 2010. While he gave the Demo Smoke started comming out of the owen and we could smell burning plastic smell. He said the unit was defective and sent another representative the next day who took photos and videos of the owen. On 11th June there was again another representatiove from IFB who came to inspect the owen again and he totook photos and videos of the owen and told us that a replacement would be provided. Since then the IFB representatives here (Mr Vasant) have been giving me false assurances that I will get replacement in two days and so on...Its 24th June today and till date there is no replacement provided. Each department in IFB that I contact blames the other department for the delay. I am totally frustrated that no one in this company cares to provide a solution. I had similar experience when I bought IFB washing Machine. I do not recomend IFB products to any one. They offer the worst possible service in the industry.
                      If any of you know the email ID of customer care head of IFB India, please share it with me. I would like to write to him/her about the service they offer.

                      The same compliant i am facing right now. no one have a responsible to answer me. I called more than 100 times to IFB customer care and chennai Franchisee M/S.Sri Kailash, I called Ms.Priya, Ms.Chitra, Ms.Lakshmi and many more... but they are totally waste in my knowledge and also i have made Direct email (3 mails) to IFB. But there is no response. My complaint no.4630730. I dont know what i have to do with the non working new machine. I NEVER BUY IFB PRODUCTS IN FUTURE.

                        Dear Sir/ Madam,

                        1. A digital 5 kg frontloading machine was purchased on 21 Oct 11 from Sawhney electronics vide bill no.5394 at lucknow cantt. Therebeing no response from the demo centre we contacted the toll free nos. & after deliberate pursuance a rep visited after three days. The dealer, Shri vipin Sales manager (no. Provided by the dealer) & customer care merely obliged by giving lip service of getting back in 30 mins but never returned. The machine on opening had scratch marks and seemed to be a display model. ( The Rep of the company was present.)

                        2. The machine was finally replaced on 03 nov 11. The demo given on 4th nov 11 & to utter dismay after just 3 more washes usage the functioning stopped. The entire rigmarole of ensuring presence of a rep from your company fructified on 14/15 nov11. I & my wife had got in touch with each of the sales,service,dealer,technical reps & customer care centre of your esteemed organisation on a daily basis atleast thrice a day. Postpaid connectivity in providing proof of calls exists if required. The agony finally continued with identification of the problem in the form of PCB being non functional. After 2/3 days of patient waiting the machine was functioning with change of PCB.

                        3. Unfortunately the machine got dysfunctional yet again and our harrowing excercise to get the company reps began since 26 nov 11 till dt & the machine remains as it is without any progress or any kind of assistance. The company reps feel bad that we tend to express our problem & they are unable to assist us in any form.

                        4. I have even sent my grievances on their website in the complaint registration on four occassions, twice on feedback head in addition to having spoken to all sundry but to no avail.

Incidentally the bitter experience forced me to procure other items of Samsung which has a wonderful service setup & i am yet to know their customer care nos. I have undergone a lot o[censored]nwanted hassles due to incompetence& lackadaisical attitude on part of their staff at lucknow.

                        9. I am a government employee & i feel fleeced of my hard earned money , discomforted & inconvenienced with a purchase of comfort oriented machine being offroad. The matter may please be resolved at the earliest in keeping with the standards of an MNC of high repute which probably their reps need to be educated upon.

                          I HAVE BOUGHT DISHWASHER DRIECTLY FROM IFB DURING SEPTEMEBER 2010.FROM DAY ONE, TRACES OF SOAP SOLUTION WAS FOUND ON THE UTENSIL.I HAVE CONTACTED LOCAL SERVICE CENTRE THROUGH CALL CENTRE.SERVICE ENGINEER WHO COME MANGALORE OFFICE DID NOT UNDERSTAND HEAD OR TAIL OF DISHWASHER AND WITHOUT ATTENDING THE DISHWASHER THEY REPORT TO CALL CENTRE THAT MACHINE IS ATTENDED.AFTER LOT OF COMPLAINTS,EXPERT ENGINEER FROM BANGALORE ATTENDED THE MACHINE.THEY OBSERVED THE MACHINE FOR HALF A DAY AT HOME AND RECOMMENDED TO REPLACE THE SOAP CONTAINER CAP.EVEN THEN THE PROBLEM DID NOT GET SOLVED.AFTER THAT, THEY DECIDED TO REPLACE THE ENTRIE DOOR CABINET.EVEN THEN THE PROBLEM DID NOT GET SOLVED.

                            IFB Complaint ID is 7545636 (Earlier complaint ID is 7472772 registered on 25.10.11) with regard to Washing Machine Elena model under AMC. I have lodged a complaint one and half month back. First complaint ref was 7352803 it was attended by a Service Engineer, and he told me that the washer in the front door is to be changed, thats the reason for water leakage. Since the rubber washer is not in the stock at their service centre Vizag it was referred to Hyderabad (I told like that). Since then I am daily pursuing with the Service Centre, and later again with Customer care. They used to tell me that Coming Monday it will be attended. Since then lot of mondays are gone, but the problem not rectified. I got mobile no. of the higher officials in IFB, but they too only buying time and not looking the matter seriously. Whats my next step? How can I get the company to rectify the problem? I am unable to use the machine since one and half months. What to do?

                              I bought IFB thinking it was a good brand and produced high quality products. But I was mistaken.

                              In last three years, have had to change the motor twice and today it has again broken down third time.Every time it breaks I end up coughing around 5000 rs.

                              So, I have almost spent the money for which I could have bought a new one. The new motors that IFB service provider (Delta Services) has put in, interestingly does not have any markings on it of the machine rating etc and no company name.

                              Wondering if these guys are putting in sub standard machines. Hope this CEO actually has some brains and checks this out instead of sitting on his fat salary and sinking the brand.

                                I have made a Service contract with IFB Washing Machine Senorita( ICR No.16737 dated[protected] for one year service by paying an amount of Rs.1765/- After that when the machine showed complaint I registered the complaint through the toll free No. [protected]. Since then several representatives attended the machine and made some works. But the problems remained unsolved. Every other time new persons are coming and attending the machine, going easily by suggesting different ways to solve the problem. Now the machine is not working. One month back a person by name Ranjeesh came and compelled us to purchase chemical powders of the company worth Rs. 800/- and through soft coated words he told us to call him after one week to permanently rectify the defect. He gave us a mobile Number [protected]. After one week I tried to contact him. But the number was not in service. That was a perfect cheating. Again I registered complaint through toll free No. and through online. New persons arrived and promised to rectify the complaint. Two weeks elapsed now. No use till date. The persons are comming from the service centre of Thiruvananthapuram, Tel No.[protected]. Kindly help me to redress my grievance.

                                  I have a senator washing machine whose AMC with rubber parts is due for renewal on 29/11/11.I placed a request at their custome care No. and the person asked me if I wanted to know the prescribed rates for the AMC.He informed me that it will be Rs.2300 for one year with rubber parts included.
                                  After that a person from IFB approached me for renewing the warranty and quoted Rs. 2500/- as the price of the above warranty.When I asked him why he was charging more he said the AMC has already expired and so renewal will cost more.I pointed out that the date is yet to expire(29/11/11) he spoke to someone in his office and said the price will remain the same.
                                  The rates of the AMC are given on their site and the customer care is also quoting the same rates.But the authorised persons who come to collect the money charge higher rates.The AMC which I have has been billed for Rs.2284/- inclusive of sewrvice tax and it is shown that it is with rubber parts.

                                      I own an IFB fully automatic washing machine, Senator, 6 Kg. I registered for Annual Maintenance Contract vide the Invoice No.40596 dated 9-2-2011. The contract is valid up to 8-2-2012. I made a complaint on 4-9-2011 stating that the Washing Machine is leaking. The complaint number is 7084084. IFB service personnel who came and inspected the Machine informed that the Tub of the Machine is leaking and that it has to be changed.

                                      I regret to state that there was absolutely no response from the IFB side. I have made so many phone calls to your service centers in Cuddalore (Which is now shifted to Chidambaram) and every time they use to say that the Mechanic will come and change the Tub. As there was no action, I contacted the Toll Free Number at Bangalore and also the Customer Care at Chennai. They, on their part, assured that they will contact and inform the Mechanic and that the fault will be attended immediately.

                                      Two and a half months have passed since I had registered my complaint. There is no action despite so many repeated calls to your customer service centers at Cuddalore, Chidambaram, Chennai and Bangalore. Only wastage of money through so many phone calls. I am totally disappointed by your customer care. There is no responsible answer to my calls and they were so rude that even my calls were not attended to.

                                      I am writing this letter with a hope that you will take immediate action to change the tub. In spite of buying the machine and also paying for the AMC, I am not able to use it for the past so many days. In addition to that I am spending my time and money on my calls to your customer care centers.

                                      If a Customer of IFB Washing Machine, particularly with an AMC is made to suffer like this for months together, What is the use of purchasing the IFB washing machine and what is the use of paying Rs.2200 towards AMC? What is the use of having a Customer Care wing without any action or use?

                                      Two and a half months of precious AMC time has been wasted because of the inordinate delay in attending a fault. A delay to this extent is totally unacceptable, whatsoever the reason may be. I request that immediate steps may be taken to rectify the defect and the waste of two and a half months of AMC which is directly attributable to your company be extended by way of AMC up to[protected]. Other wise, please note, l will be forced to approach the Consumer Forum for damages.

                                        I had purchased my IFB Washing machine in July 2010. In this 1 year and 4 months I have registered 5 complaints for my machine.
                                        Everytime there is a fault with the machine the technician visits our place and attends to the problem only to give us a temporary relief of the problem.
