I Sri Muralidhar residing at S-3, Shanthiniketan Appartments, 5 Cross, Vinayaka Layout, HEBBAL-KEMPAPURA, Bangalore-24, has registered a complaint vide phone no [protected] around 2-3 months back on 19.10.2011. I cant under stand why they are making so much delay . we are in need and request u to get the washing machine repaired immediately. i had met the service centre people at kempapura, bangalore but they replied that wire harness is un available and it should be supplied by the company .i cant understand where is the company and I am an AMC holder and i have almost waited for 3 months . please get the machine repaired at the earliest consider the matter as most urgent.

    I, V S Jamwal agree to the above regarding horrible service being offered by the IFB for repair of Mic Wave oven at their service center situated at Dharamshala of Disstt. Kangra of Himachal Pradesh. It is complete one month today i.e. on 6th Dec after I offered my MW oven for repair. I was told that they shall be reverting back within three days about the status of my oven but after waiting for about 15 days I contacted myself on phone but the status of my oven was the same and i was given reason regarding non availability of some part and agreed to convey me within two days after repair. But today after complete one month when I rang again to about my oven firstly I was greeted by the phone attendent(she) with the remarks that "Hamein Nahein Pata Hamare Paas bahut se ovens aate hain" but later she asked me to wait for few minutes and she will ring me up to convey the status. But now it is one hr since I talked to her but nothing has been conveyed to me so far. I am feeling cheated and now onward always guide my known persons that not to buy IFB products in future.

    I bought an IFB Microwave Owen on 31st May 2010. IFB representative came to give us a Demo on 2nd June 2010. While he gave the Demo Smoke started comming out of the owen and we could smell burning plastic smell. He said the unit was defective and sent another representative the next day who took photos and videos of the owen. On 11th June there was again another representatiove from IFB who came to inspect the owen again and he totook photos and videos of the owen and told us that a replacement would be provided. Since then the IFB representatives here (Mr Vasant) have been giving me false assurances that I will get replacement in two days and so on...Its 24th June today and till date there is no replacement provided. Each department in IFB that I contact blames the other department for the delay. I am totally frustrated that no one in this company cares to provide a solution. I had similar experience when I bought IFB washing Machine. I do not recomend IFB products to any one. They offer the worst possible service in the industry.
    If any of you know the email ID of customer care head of IFB India, please share it with me. I would like to write to him/her about the service they offer.

    The same compliant i am facing right now. no one have a responsible to answer me. I called more than 100 times to IFB customer care and chennai Franchisee M/S.Sri Kailash, I called Ms.Priya, Ms.Chitra, Ms.Lakshmi and many more... but they are totally waste in my knowledge and also i have made Direct email (3 mails) to IFB. But there is no response. My complaint no.4630730. I dont know what i have to do with the non working new machine. I NEVER BUY IFB PRODUCTS IN FUTURE.

      Dear Sir/ Madam,

      1. A digital 5 kg frontloading machine was purchased on 21 Oct 11 from Sawhney electronics vide bill no.5394 at lucknow cantt. Therebeing no response from the demo centre we contacted the toll free nos. & after deliberate pursuance a rep visited after three days. The dealer, Shri vipin Sales manager (no. Provided by the dealer) & customer care merely obliged by giving lip service of getting back in 30 mins but never returned. The machine on opening had scratch marks and seemed to be a display model. ( The Rep of the company was present.)

      2. The machine was finally replaced on 03 nov 11. The demo given on 4th nov 11 & to utter dismay after just 3 more washes usage the functioning stopped. The entire rigmarole of ensuring presence of a rep from your company fructified on 14/15 nov11. I & my wife had got in touch with each of the sales,service,dealer,technical reps & customer care centre of your esteemed organisation on a daily basis atleast thrice a day. Postpaid connectivity in providing proof of calls exists if required. The agony finally continued with identification of the problem in the form of PCB being non functional. After 2/3 days of patient waiting the machine was functioning with change of PCB.

      3. Unfortunately the machine got dysfunctional yet again and our harrowing excercise to get the company reps began since 26 nov 11 till dt & the machine remains as it is without any progress or any kind of assistance. The company reps feel bad that we tend to express our problem & they are unable to assist us in any form.

      4. I have even sent my grievances on their website in the complaint registration on four occassions, twice on feedback head in addition to having spoken to all sundry but to no avail.

Incidentally the bitter experience forced me to procure other items of Samsung which has a wonderful service setup & i am yet to know their customer care nos. I have undergone a lot o[censored]nwanted hassles due to incompetence& lackadaisical attitude on part of their staff at lucknow.

      9. I am a government employee & i feel fleeced of my hard earned money , discomforted & inconvenienced with a purchase of comfort oriented machine being offroad. The matter may please be resolved at the earliest in keeping with the standards of an MNC of high repute which probably their reps need to be educated upon.

        I HAVE BOUGHT DISHWASHER DRIECTLY FROM IFB DURING SEPTEMEBER 2010.FROM DAY ONE, TRACES OF SOAP SOLUTION WAS FOUND ON THE UTENSIL.I HAVE CONTACTED LOCAL SERVICE CENTRE THROUGH CALL CENTRE.SERVICE ENGINEER WHO COME MANGALORE OFFICE DID NOT UNDERSTAND HEAD OR TAIL OF DISHWASHER AND WITHOUT ATTENDING THE DISHWASHER THEY REPORT TO CALL CENTRE THAT MACHINE IS ATTENDED.AFTER LOT OF COMPLAINTS,EXPERT ENGINEER FROM BANGALORE ATTENDED THE MACHINE.THEY OBSERVED THE MACHINE FOR HALF A DAY AT HOME AND RECOMMENDED TO REPLACE THE SOAP CONTAINER CAP.EVEN THEN THE PROBLEM DID NOT GET SOLVED.AFTER THAT, THEY DECIDED TO REPLACE THE ENTRIE DOOR CABINET.EVEN THEN THE PROBLEM DID NOT GET SOLVED.
        IMAGINE SOME USERS DID NOT OBSERVE TRACES OF SOAP SOLUTION, WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TO THEIR HEALTH.
        I ASKED THEM TO REPLACE THE MACHINE.THEY ARE STILL TALKING OF CALLING THEIR EXPERT ENGINEER AND DOING R&D.

          IFB Complaint ID is 7545636 (Earlier complaint ID is 7472772 registered on 25.10.11) with regard to Washing Machine Elena model under AMC. I have lodged a complaint one and half month back. First complaint ref was 7352803 it was attended by a Service Engineer, and he told me that the washer in the front door is to be changed, thats the reason for water leakage. Since the rubber washer is not in the stock at their service centre Vizag it was referred to Hyderabad (I told like that). Since then I am daily pursuing with the Service Centre, and later again with Customer care. They used to tell me that Coming Monday it will be attended. Since then lot of mondays are gone, but the problem not rectified. I got mobile no. of the higher officials in IFB, but they too only buying time and not looking the matter seriously. Whats my next step? How can I get the company to rectify the problem? I am unable to use the machine since one and half months. What to do?

            I bought IFB thinking it was a good brand and produced high quality products. But I was mistaken.

            In last three years, have had to change the motor twice and today it has again broken down third time.Every time it breaks I end up coughing around 5000 rs.

            So, I have almost spent the money for which I could have bought a new one. The new motors that IFB service provider (Delta Services) has put in, interestingly does not have any markings on it of the machine rating etc and no company name.

            Wondering if these guys are putting in sub standard machines. Hope this CEO actually has some brains and checks this out instead of sitting on his fat salary and sinking the brand.

              I have made a Service contract with IFB Washing Machine Senorita( ICR No.16737 dated[protected] for one year service by paying an amount of Rs.1765/- After that when the machine showed complaint I registered the complaint through the toll free No. [protected]. Since then several representatives attended the machine and made some works. But the problems remained unsolved. Every other time new persons are coming and attending the machine, going easily by suggesting different ways to solve the problem. Now the machine is not working. One month back a person by name Ranjeesh came and compelled us to purchase chemical powders of the company worth Rs. 800/- and through soft coated words he told us to call him after one week to permanently rectify the defect. He gave us a mobile Number [protected]. After one week I tried to contact him. But the number was not in service. That was a perfect cheating. Again I registered complaint through toll free No. and through online. New persons arrived and promised to rectify the complaint. Two weeks elapsed now. No use till date. The persons are comming from the service centre of Thiruvananthapuram, Tel No.[protected]. Kindly help me to redress my grievance.

                I have a senator washing machine whose AMC with rubber parts is due for renewal on 29/11/11.I placed a request at their custome care No. and the person asked me if I wanted to know the prescribed rates for the AMC.He informed me that it will be Rs.2300 for one year with rubber parts included.
                After that a person from IFB approached me for renewing the warranty and quoted Rs. 2500/- as the price of the above warranty.When I asked him why he was charging more he said the AMC has already expired and so renewal will cost more.I pointed out that the date is yet to expire(29/11/11) he spoke to someone in his office and said the price will remain the same.
                The rates of the AMC are given on their site and the customer care is also quoting the same rates.But the authorised persons who come to collect the money charge higher rates.The AMC which I have has been billed for Rs.2284/- inclusive of sewrvice tax and it is shown that it is with rubber parts.

                    I own an IFB fully automatic washing machine, Senator, 6 Kg. I registered for Annual Maintenance Contract vide the Invoice No.40596 dated 9-2-2011. The contract is valid up to 8-2-2012. I made a complaint on 4-9-2011 stating that the Washing Machine is leaking. The complaint number is 7084084. IFB service personnel who came and inspected the Machine informed that the Tub of the Machine is leaking and that it has to be changed.

                    I regret to state that there was absolutely no response from the IFB side. I have made so many phone calls to your service centers in Cuddalore (Which is now shifted to Chidambaram) and every time they use to say that the Mechanic will come and change the Tub. As there was no action, I contacted the Toll Free Number at Bangalore and also the Customer Care at Chennai. They, on their part, assured that they will contact and inform the Mechanic and that the fault will be attended immediately.

                    Two and a half months have passed since I had registered my complaint. There is no action despite so many repeated calls to your customer service centers at Cuddalore, Chidambaram, Chennai and Bangalore. Only wastage of money through so many phone calls. I am totally disappointed by your customer care. There is no responsible answer to my calls and they were so rude that even my calls were not attended to.

                    I am writing this letter with a hope that you will take immediate action to change the tub. In spite of buying the machine and also paying for the AMC, I am not able to use it for the past so many days. In addition to that I am spending my time and money on my calls to your customer care centers.

                    If a Customer of IFB Washing Machine, particularly with an AMC is made to suffer like this for months together, What is the use of purchasing the IFB washing machine and what is the use of paying Rs.2200 towards AMC? What is the use of having a Customer Care wing without any action or use?

                    Two and a half months of precious AMC time has been wasted because of the inordinate delay in attending a fault. A delay to this extent is totally unacceptable, whatsoever the reason may be. I request that immediate steps may be taken to rectify the defect and the waste of two and a half months of AMC which is directly attributable to your company be extended by way of AMC up to[protected]. Other wise, please note, l will be forced to approach the Consumer Forum for damages.

                      I had purchased my IFB Washing machine in July 2010. In this 1 year and 4 months I have registered 5 complaints for my machine.
                      Everytime there is a fault with the machine the technician visits our place and attends to the problem only to give us a temporary relief of the problem.

                      The machine barely works for couple of weeks and again conks off. I give below all the complaints we had registered since the time of purchase of this machine.

                        I have lodged a complaint no. 7570487 on November 6th for my Microwave oven (One of the lock got broken of the said Microwave) procured in May 2010 from Dawar International, Gurgaon. IFB technician visited my place only after making a call to Mr. Joshi, Service Incharge. To my dismay, the technician visited my place wasn't carrying the part which was broken and he assured me to fix it on next day. Nobody turned up next day. I again made a call to Mr. Joshi to elaborate the facts. On his instruction, technician visited again with the part but this time the part he was carrying could not be fixed since it wasn't meant for the model. I am astonished to see pathetic service, IFB is providing to its customer and not even bothered to make its technician accountable for time they wasting in resolving a simple complaint and fading company's image by doing such ordinary job. I would also bring to your kind notice that the technician have cut some part from the inside of the oven.

                        I have knocked every nook and corner to fix the microwave but unfortunately I did not find even a single person who can help in getting this problem resolved.

                        In my last complaint also, I made a note to the customer care executive that the technician was misguiding us that the PCB card of the oven is faulty whereas there was a wire which got loose due to that the current wasn't passing through the Microwave. This was only be done only my wife's insistence. I have also brought this in to the notice of IFB Service Incharge, Mr. Joshi. I don't think, any action yet has been taken against the technician in question.

                        In light of the above facts, I would request your kind intervention in the matter and resolved it URGENTLY.

Installed on-24/10/2011.I complaint at bhopal branch on[protected] about rat mat not received with the washing machine.Complaint to Mr. Kishore,then to Jyoti Barolia on [protected]. She told me that rat mat is not available at the branch.                             I have bought a IFB Digital Washing MAchine on Oct 29th 2009, for Rs 28,000/-. And within a matter of 3 months it developed a heavy banging sound and the vibrations were so heavy that the machine would move a feet away. Sometimes it would be so bad that it would even pull off the wire from the electrical socket. The IFB guys have been working on this for almost 1 and a half year now and are not able to find a solution for the same.
                            I have to mention that their response to complaint is so very bad. That is another added headache.

                            In the course of their visits they have changed the IC, motor, the shock absorbers. Inspite of all this no solution has been found to the problem except that the machine does not move like it was moving. But the banging sound persists. Their executive at HUbli also mentioned to me that he is going to refer to his higher up in Bangalore for the replacement of the machine. But so far there has been no action on them inspite of my repeated reminders.

                                I had purchased a washing machine from IFB on[protected].Since then the machine is not working properly.I also registered complaint (Complaint No.[protected] at their customer care but i am not satisfied with there replies.From the last month daily they said that their executive will come but no one came.I hope that they will improve there service in the future and take necessary action.

                                  We bought an IFB Elite 5 KG washing machine and an IFB Microwave oven on Jan 18, 2007, along with several other appliances. The washing machine and the Microwave oven have caused enormous distress, breaking down frequently. The washing machine had at least three major breakdowns. Each time it broke down, it took over a month and several phone calls, missed appointments etc. Once three technicians who came made the wrong diagnosis and it took a team of four, including a Technical Supervisor to spot the computer mother board as the trouble maker. (This caused us great inconvenience since we had several guests staying with us). After the computer chip was replaced, the machine started running very roughly and making a lot of noise. After the usual number of calls, another team came and said the noisy running was due to the fact that the machine was not loaded to the maximum capacity and hence the noise. A couple of days later, the machine stopped after a very noisy spell. All the fuses in the house blew out. We checked the load and ran the machine. Again the noise and the fuses blew. We tried it once more with no success and then lodged a complaint with IFB (No 1598088). It was late on Tuesday, March 4 that one Mr. Gajendran came, diagnosed the trouble as the “stone” ring having fallen down. He said he will put in a major maintenance request for the next day and assured us that a repair team will turn up between noon and 3 00 PM the next day and will get the job done. Nobody came and several calls later, one Mr Ganesh called me to say that the work order was not written up properly, an O ring needed to fix it is not in stock and has been ordered. It took several days before the repairs were affected. The third time, the motor went bad and again it took several days before a replacement came and the machine was repaired.

                                  The machine has again broken down and I filed a complaint on Friday, 4th November around 10.30 AM. I am still to get a call or response from the company

                                  The response from the IFB, Chennai office has been uniform....No response. Their policy is 1. Do not answer the phone or get back to the customer 2. Do not answer e mails 3. make the customer call as many times as possible so he gives up in disgust

                                  To file this complaint, I have asked the IFB Chennai and the Calcutta offices thrice for a history of the maintenance and repairs done on my machine. I have not had even the courtesy of an acknowledgement of my request let alone compliance

                                  I have even written twice to the Calcutta Head Office of IFB, but there has been no response at all. The serial number of the washing machine is 4015 and the customer number is 1014416. The machine is also under AMC contract and the reference number is 48858.

                                  I want a compensation of Rs 10,000 for all the trouble and hassle I have been subjected to and for the sheer arrogance of the company.. Chennai and Calcutta... at ignoring a customer's genuine complaints

                                    On 21st Oct 2011,I,Debjani Roy ,phone no-[protected] had brought a washing machine & a microwave oven-IFB30SC3.The washing machine had been installed but today Arun Dinda has cum to install the microwave oven & had found it defective.he had told us to replace it.So it will be kind o[censored] to do it as soon as possible.after a long time he had cum to install it & found that the water is not getting heated.So i[censored] dont take any step i have it complain to the higher authority of IFB

                                      I have made complain to IFB regarding poor product.

                                      Higher authorities have asked local service incharge Mr. Rajendra , Mobile no - [protected].

                                      He had been only postponing the work. And most of the times he does not pick the phone.

                                      We are really facing bad customer service by Mr. Rajendra of IFB Delhi zone.

                                        the attitude of your customer care executives and franchise holders at S.M. Enterprises,F-37, Laxmi Nagar and Delhi manager - Mr. Mohit([protected])
                                        is not upto the mark instead of registering complaint covered under AMC(annual maintenece contract)

                                        I had given the complaint regarding my washing machine door broken 10 days back(Complaint No.[protected], but only once did the technician came without any tools or equipment even knowing beforehand the nature of complaint he is going to handle. He went saying that he will come after a while but has not responded till now. When given a call at the IFB franchise office at (S.M. Enterprise), Ms. Ritu poses the drama by shouting at Vishal(a technician) that why has he not attended the complaint till now, then she says that he will come but again no one appears. Mr. K.P. Agarwal(franchise owner) doesnt has manners to talk n hangs up the phone on the customer when he is done sayin without even listening to the customers problem. The executives are not ready to give delhi manager's no., and when taken forcibly, Mr. Mohit promises of giving back a call within an hour but doesn't.
                                        Now why should someone be stuck with IFB product or buy AMC under which the nature of such complaints is covered?
