An ifb washing machine was procured from bill no. 5394 of Sawhney electronics, lucknow cantt on 21 oct 11.[protected]/( [protected]) . The rep of the company dikshit ([protected]) arrived and in his presence when it was opened there were scratch marks noticed and the piece as such has a dull look. the piece is a display model given to me as a new piece at full rate. i spent half a day contacting the dealer, the sales manager of the company Mr Vipin([protected]) , Ms karishma([protected]) service manager of the company.Despite acknowledging the problem as genuine each of them only directed me to get in touch with the other saying it was not their task to get it replaced. as on dt i.e. 01/11/11 despite intimating to various heads; the washing machine lies unused and the amount of clothes which got collected in anticipation of people arriving with a new piece has upset the peace at home. Though having paid for a new product and the product lying in my house i am forced to wash my backlog of clothes daily taking a heavy toll on my back. The callous attitude with which the coy persons are dealing with the subject is a matter of serious concern.

    i have got ifb executive plus model washing machine,
    its under AMC for one year, timer was not working, and also
    incomming water comes out over the opening door,
    i told to service person in vellore. they are told me to register online booking /
    toll free no to customer care , then only we come and attend the service,
    i tried for the past one month to [protected] - 3 in tamil,or - 1 in english,
    not even one time i catch the line, always engage tone only comes , what can i do
    how to register my complaint ?

      Hi,

      I, Mitul Rambhia, had purchased IFB washing machine (model - Admiral 7012W) on 24th July, 2011 - custom ID 2917850. I was so excited to buy best in class product, even though it was out of my budget. But that excitement was not for long. When the technician came to get the machine started, he was not able to do so. He had to make 2 more visits along with senior technicians to ensure that the machine gets started. It totally took more than a week to get it started. The inside rods were completely bent. I had informed the technician that there is a production defect in this machine, but he refused to it. When I asked him about the trolley for the machine, he informed that it is not in stock and will take around a month's time, hence I had to buy it from outside vendor whose number was provided by the delivery boys.

      After that it was working fine for a month or so, and then another problem started. The option of 'Quick 17' was not working as expected. Again the same technician came, and he informed us that the powder that I am using is not good, and hence the problem. Whereas, I was using Ariel Oxyblue which is considered as one of the best in class. Not sure whether that can have an impact on the machine functioning.

      My bad luck with the machine continued, and it again broke down after another month or so. When I just started it on the day of Diwali (26th Oct - Wednesday), there was some wire burning smell out of it and in couple of minutes, fumes came out of the machine. I was embarraced in front of my parents that such an expensive machine is not working fine even for a month. I raised a request for the technician to come and get this fixed. When the technician came, he checked it and informed me that the water pipe is broken and it needs to be replaced. I was surprised to hear that in 3 months, it has been broken. The explanation given by the technician that Admiral is not supposed to vibrate. Since your trolley is not good, it is vibrating and hence the problem. Actually, when I used it without trolley also, it was still vibrating. This proves that there is a production defect in the machine, else it would not have given me so many problems. My Diwali was completely spoiled. Thanks to IFB ! Since the pipe was broken, the technician told me that he will come with a new pipe on Friday 28th Oct and will replace it.

      I was frustrated with all this and hence raised a request for replacement of the machine. The customer care executive told me that someone will call me on Friday 28th Oct, but I did not get any call from anyone. On top of that, the technician called me up on Friday and told me that they don't have the pipe in stoke (again !) and hence he won't be able to get it fixed today. Earliest he can come is next Wednesday 2nd Nov. This was absolutely pathetic ! When I asked him that I want to talk to his manager, he gave me mobile number of Anil Diwakaran. I called him up and told him the issue. He told me that he'll talk to the technician and will call me back in 10-15 minutes. Since he did not call back after 45 mintues, I called him up again. And Anil started lieing that he promised me to call after 30 minutes, and not 10 minutes. Also, when I told him that there was an issue while getting the machine started, and the technicians had to make 3 visits, he again told me that I am a liar and it was fixed in 2 visits only. When I told him to pull out the visit records, he told me that he is not here to do all that and is not interested in all those things. I found him very rude and absolutely hopeless guy. Not sure how come IFB employed him at the position that he is holding. He don't know how to talk to customers and counter argues that the customer is a liar. That was the time I realized that IFB is one of the worst company to deal with.

      Since I was not interested in talking to him, I asked him to give his manager's number. He game me mobile number of Saumen who is the area manager. Since he waS on leave, I asked him to give me some other person's contact number whom I can talk to. He promised me to give me a call in 30 mintes. But he also did not call me back. When I tried to call him back after an hour, his mobile was switeched off. After another hour when I tried him, his mobile was ringing but he did not pick up my call.

      I had also tried to talk to various other people on Friday 28th Oct, but none of them were available. The long list includes Meenakshi and manisha[protected] /[protected], Chaya[protected], Ziana[protected], Branch office[protected] / 62) and also customer care service.

      One of the worst Diwali that I ever had was this one and it was all because of Diwali. Hence, I have now decided that I don't want this machine. Would like to request you please get this replaced. If you are not able to do that, then please give me refund of my money and take back your product. I can buy some good brand product who cares for customers. Still, if you are not able to do anything, then I would not be left with any choice but to send the machine back to IFB and also raise it to appropriate authority.

      IFB — prob with working,lid is broken by one of their technician

      i m from kovaipudur....v too hv been facing same problem wit this ifb customercare.....v hv got washing machine from ifb.....there were lot of problem wit washing machine....the technicians came and broke the lid of washing machine....they told tey wil come and repair soon....till now no one has ATTENDED.....v r still under guarentee period but customer care is not aatttending complaints properly...... pl see to the problem soon......really so diappointed......try to attend the problem now atleast....

            Dear Sirs
            We have purchased a IFB washing machine at Tirupur MGB, Multi Branded Electronic Showroom (IFB Digital 5Kg).

            Problems: The water inlet problem.

            We have been calling up the respective company but till date no action has been taken. We have been launched complaint for the past 4 months, IFB Customer Care has forwarded complaint to M/s.Vinayaka Traders, Salem. M/s.Vinayaka Trades, has sent technicians 3 to 4 times, but none of them found what is the exact problem. Today, they have sent one person, he is demo person, he opened the machine and mishandled it, finally the machine's board is not working, either exchange the piece or we request the company to return the money paid by us to the company.

            I have registred a compliant with IFB care because, the washing machine not working which is under warranty. One of their engineer walked in and checked it and said, the front board has come problem and will come back next day with required items. Today 22nd Sept 2009, it crossed 20 days but no response even after repeated calls to call center. It is very unfortunate to see that, they are not responding to customer calls.

            My name is Roland. Address : 93, 6th Cross Street, Senthil Nagar, Kolathur, Chennai -600099. I'm under AMC of my digital IFB Washing machine(6KG) and it's been more than 15 days my complaint(No.3988281) has not been resolved. Quite frustrated as no proper response from neither service centre/personnel nor IFB toll free call centre. What shall I do?

            Extremely poor service from IFB. It is very upsetting to find that people at IFb don't attend to complaints. They do not send technicians to resolve problems even while the products are in warranty period.

            Filed complaint for my Washing Machine and Microwave but did not get any help from the customer service department. Made repeated phone calls but no one from IFB bothered to call back and check. False promises were made that the machine would be repaired within 24 hrs but nothing happened.

            No senior person attended my call, no technician came home to repair the appliances. I have finally given up and have decided to buy a new machine of some other brand, someone who can promise better after sales service. .

            IFB DIGITAL 5kg — Washing Machine mechanical damage

            Hi,

            I am a frustrated customer of IFB washing machine. I bought this front loading model on 07.07.2008 for Rs. 24000. Now within 3 years of its purchase, there was a mechanical damage inside the machine breaking the concrete block, front rim, etc. Service engineers visited and have estimated around Rs. 4500 for the repair.
            To spend more this much amount on a product of a so-called reputed company is not acceptable to me.
            I purchased an IFB product thinking I will be a proud customer to have chosen this brand.

            To add to this, the engineer very casually said, "This happened due to defective bearing. And this was since the date of installation. At that point of time, we even brought it to the notice of the installatin engineer that the machine makes abnormal noise. To thi he replied, "This noise is normal". We never imagined that this negligence of that engineer could put us such an expenditure within 3 years of purchase.
            Though the spoilage of the machine had begun during the warranty period, the actual breakage happened after end of warranty period. Hence, company is not ready to bear the repair / spares charges. My demand is that the company should take note of this and pay me the entire repair charges as well as guarranty that such breakdown will not happen in the near future.

            The company's mission says , "Continuously maximizing company's wealth by manufacturing and marketing best quality engineering products that go into daily life."

            But the reality is that only the first part is the real mission - to maximize IFB's wealth. And they do this by fooling and robbing customers.

            If IFB wants to survive in the market, they should take care of troubled customers like me, else, I warn them .. BEWARE, YOU'LL BE THROWN OUT OF THE MARKET.

              Respected Sir,
              I have purchased IFB washing machine(Senator model/6kg./chasis no.11899) on Dt.11/09/2006 from Rajdeep Electronics, stadium road, Ahmedabad. I am fen of IFB brand in this segment. Now I am thinking to purchase electrical oven of our company before diwali. But due to poor service and irresponsible answers of IFB service department , now plan get cancelled. However this giant company will not have any impact of this, but remember “every drop of water have part to form a sea”.
              I have complained on customer care tel. no.[protected] on or before Dt.08/10/2011 to repair my totally stoped washing machine. They have given me the customer ID no. 3030132 & complain no. 7344797. After five days when I repeatedly remindered on customer care tel. no.[protected], they told me to contact on tel. no. 32915253 of Yashraj Enterprise, which was out of service. After trying more two days to contect on this number I was asked to contect with Mr. Ajay Chauhan on his mobile No. [protected]-. When I contected Mr. Ajay Chauhan he asked me whether you have a service contract with us? I replyed NO. Then he told me your complain will be solved after 15 days because we have no parts for your machine repairing but if you have the service contract with us then we may repair your machine immediately. This reply was surprising & shocking. Company like IFB have no parts to repair washing machine which it had sold to customer having no service contract with company & more surprising matter is no one have contected us for this matter from service side. now I got tired & thinking to go for higher authority or consumer court with evidence of recorded telephonic talk between me & company service station.
              Assuming you will take some action on it because my mother is aged(65 yrs. old) not able to wash cloths mannualy.

              IFB Industries Ltd.-Washing Machine — Fault not repaired

              Our IFB washing machine is under AMC. But the company and its franchise do not give attention to our various complaints. The repeated telephone calls are either not picked up or picked up and disconnected. When picked up give false assurances. The complaint no. 4145310 customer code 988480 dated 15.02.2010 has not been attended after repeated telephonic reminders to IFB Industries Ltd. and its franchise Powermatic. The names of some of the connected persons to whom we spoke are Mr. Rahul, Mr. Rajender, Mr. J.K. Gupta(owner Powermatic), Mr. Srikant(Area Incharge-Rohini), Mr. Sunil Yadav.

              IFB — no repair and no service

              this is to inform you that i am very disappointed with the sevices of IFB. i have taken AMC of Rs 7000,but to no avail. The problems are as follows:
              1) the machine starts before the door is closed ,the timer does not work.
              2)the machine is very noisy and vibrates very badly
              3)the water does not become hot in the machine
              4)the technicians never turn up on the given time and do not answer the calls.
              5)i had requested for the machine to be taken to workshop for repair about ten days back but they assured me that they will come and solve the problem but no one have shown up till date.
              6)If and when they answer, they assure that they will come and solve the problem but they never come on the given date and time and the problem is always unsolved.
              The AMC service offered is worst I have ever seen. They simply dont attend calls and and keep the mobile switched off. this kind of attitude is not acceptable. I have been using the machine since 18 years and i am fed up now with the problems i am facing everyday

                My washing machine conked off nearly two and a half months back. I launched a complaint and after quite a few days a service engineer Prashant came and inspected my IFB washing machine. He told me that a particular part i.e. the circuit board is not working and that he will order for the part. He asked me to keep my warranty papers ready. I could not locate the papers. He came back after a month with the part when I was not home and asked my servant to give Rs. 5000 for the part. When I checked with the consumer care centre I came to know that my machine is still under warranty. I bought my machine in Feb/Mar 2010. Now he tells me that the consumer care centre is located in Bangalore and people there do not anything about the details of the customer here. I thought I will pay up if need be but he would not turn up. I must have repeatedly complained atleast 30 to 40 times both at the consumer centre and to him personally. But no action has been taken so far. Every time I get a promise from the consumer care centre that somebody will come and service it in 24 hours and now two and a half months have passed and my washing machine has still not been repaired. Nowadays Prashant either replies rudely to my calls or simply bangs the phone.

                To add to my woes, on 14th of October, my IFB dishwasher also went out of order. I bought it only on 4th April 2011. Fortunately, I have the documents of the dishwasher.

                I tried calling up the regional head Mr. Kaushik Sarkar about a month back and he promptly gave me the number of another gentleman who never picked up my call. After a lot of frustration I again called Mr. Sarkar yesterday and have been calling him up continuously today to find a solution to my problem. MR. SARKAR PERSONALLY CONFIRMED THAT BOTH MY PRODUCTS ARE UNDER WARRANTY AND HE PROMISED ME THAT SOMEBODY WILL COME OVER TO REPAIR MY DISHWASHER ATLEAST TODAY. I WAITED TILL AFTERNOON AND NOBODY TURNED UP. I had to go to work in the afternoon. So I again asked him to send somebody between 5.45 p.m. to 6.45 p.m. since I had to go to meet my son's teacher at 7.00 p.m. But nobody turned up. I cancelled my appointment with my son's teacher so that I don't miss the celebrated service engineer. He never turned up.

                I have a record of all the innumerable phone calls that I have made to IFB consumer centre personally and also through several other persons. I have now decided to go to the consumer court soon.

                I thought IFB was a great brand. But I will now tell everybody that I come in contact with never to buy IFB products.

                IFB Washing Machine Digital 7 Kgs — Repairs not carried out

                Complaint no. 3875125. Customer code no. 2134870. The PCB and the belt needs change. The service engineer attended on three occassions , everytime with non compliant PCB which obviously did not rectify the trouble. Since 5th Jan'10 , I have been informed everyday by the service center that machine will be attended between such and such time, but no one comes and i keep waiting at home. These people don't even have the decency to update us with the impending situation. It is rather disgusting that a company with international repute has responded so poorly without any remoarse or concern for the customer. Will anyone look into the matter and do the needful??????
                I have been facing a similar problem. I bought an IFB washing machine which had problems early this year. The service staff was called and he came and inspected the machine. Like my friend above, I was told that a spare part was needed and that he would be back with it in two days. The entire process continued for around one and a half months where I made repeated calls to the hotline, the service personnel, the franchise etc. They would either make empty promises saying they would send the serviceman in 24 hrs without fail or they would not pick up the phone. Finally after a lot of hassle, the problem was fixed.I was also asked to pay 5000 Rs for their AMC warranty which I did thinking that maybe that would make my experience with IFB easier.

                Now, after 2 months there is a problem again and the same rigmarole has been going on for a month and still there has been no news or sound from the service personnel. I tried calling them but there is no response. I am sick and tired of their conniving staff and attitude as such. I also shared my woes with a couple of my friends and they seem to have the same opinion. In fact, one of them told me to use their machine as long as it works and then dump it. The performance of the machine is good, but quality does not last and service is HORRIBLE!!!

                I guess going to a consumer court will be the only option . I was however wondering if it wouldn't be a better option to get people on this forum, other unssatisfied customers together in order to make a stronger point in the case. These people are after all big companies and I am sure that paying or bribing people on an individual level is easier for them than tackling with a big group.

                  my washing machine was not working since five days due to programme was not completed and displayed the "active led" blinking while the programme is in running.and also the another reason is water leackage from the machine. so please checked and rectify the above problems of my washing machine as well as possible.

                  IFB Seniorita, FRONT LOADING — Not Washing well

                  The machine is not washing well. Not even taking a water inlet as suffice to wash, then how can it drains dirt out? Its really waste of money, time and electricity bill, Only you can save water. Always everyone thinking to buy a washine machine, always prefer TOP LOADING MACHINE. Its practical and logic. Cleans well. In IFB itself Toploading machine is available now. Try those or some other brands with TOP LOADING.
                  And also oil will be leaking inside the drum while washing and forms stains in the clothes. Most of my wife's chudi got worst by that oil stains.
                  I called IFB Customer Care and complined. A service man came to home and asked us to use IFB washing powder to rectify that oil stains. Its the greatest comedy i have heard in my life. Beacauce he never opened even the door of the machine when he came for service.
                  I dont want call again the CC and get cheat by myself.

                    I have made a complaint about malfunctioning of washing machine on 04 SEP2011. I was told that a part is to be replaced and same has been demanded. Now it is over 5 weeks and nothing has happened despite innumerable reminders. What is worse is that every time I am told that your representative will visit/ they will get back on the latest position but no one has done so to date. This has cost me a fat washer man bill and untold inconvenience.

                      I have purchased a IFM make Microwave Convection oven from M/s Mayur Enterprises, Chandrapur (Maharashtra State), authorised dealer of M/s IFB in the month of 6th March,2011 and it is installed on 8th March,2011 by Mr.Willson Joseph, Service Engineer, deputed by M/s Mayur Enterprises.

                      On 27.7.2011 while operating the Oven, a sparking has occurred alongwith smoke is come out. Very next day I have reported and explained the problems to Mr.Willson over his Mobile only his mobile number was available with me. He has assured to visit next day, but, after passing more than 5 days, he did not fulfilled his commitment. Again I was called on his mobile, but he told me that he is out of station at Nagapur, when I reach Chandrapur I attend your complaint. Again I was called over his Mobile, but his mobile was switched off. Somebody has told me that Mr.Willson was resigned from IFB Company.

                      On 19.9.2011 I was lodged a complaint through Toll Free Number of M/s IFB, Call attended by Mr. Irfan and he has given to me complaint No.7210348, I.D.No.2541654 dt. 19.9.2011. But, nobody has responded on my complaint till 23.9.2011. Again I reminded through their toll free No. that nobody has responded on my complaint.

                      My humble request brought to the Applets Authority that somebody was told me that the company’s policy that delaying to attending the complaint till over Appliance Guarantee period. After that they have attending the complaint.

                      ifb convection microwave — complaint not attened for past three months

                      my microwave is under amc and its electronic unit is not wroking. have been regularly calling cuntomer service to send someone to attend to the problem and get assurance of it being attened to soon from them. but for for past three month despite calling regularly the prblem had not been attened to

                        My machine is under AMC for hte past 6 years. From 20th october 2008 i am trying to book the complaint but unsuccessful. The reason their service call centre number[protected] is on recorded message saying "all thier executives are busy ; pls stay online". This is the plight at night 10'o clk, morning 6'o clk, holidays, sundays working days, or working hours.
                        There is another all india complaints number[protected] ; same msg is spelt.

                        Finally i called up their marketingoffice at Nungambakkam, Chennai. Mr. Prasad, the executive who came online was only willing to sell an exchange machine and give advice on those lines. Finally i managaed to get the service agency Sai enterprises Annanagar telephone number;

                        Sai enterprises anna nagar, i[censored] try 4hrs continuously with their number u may get once if lucky. I was lucky ; initially the attendant, technial person said u need to call up on thier service call centre; i managed to convince them about my failure get call centre number and made them take the complaint and i was told the engineer wld visit on 2nd november 08 but no one turnd up.

                        The problem with my machine is Rust is coming along the drained out water in all the stages; also the machine is making unusual sound while spinning.

                        My machine is in AMC continuously without break for the past 6 years. We had very good services int he earlier yeras when Ganeshwar enterprises was the service Agency.

                        I had some wrinkle problem in my from loading washing machine sometime back. I phoned up IFB service and two young boys came and started operating the machine. Then they told me that the water controlling apparatus has gone fut and wanted to change that. They had a few spares with them and they told me that they would change that. When I saw what they had I had my own doubts about them because they did not take that out of a new packing and they all had grease on them. They wanted INR650 for that and another 150 for the service. As I had doubts about those spares and their words, I asked them whether those are new. Thay told me that the company sends them in bulk and no packing is provided for those spares. Then they left as I was not ready to accept their words. I sent a mail to IFB as the next time I operated it the water did not stop even after the whole drum was full. Came a person and he told me that the wire has been disconnected by those boys and there was no need for any service too as it was functioning well. These people who come for service either cheat you like this and get money. If you don't accept to pay and raise doubts, they create problems in your machine. Beware.
                        In India there is still we find a lack on honesty among the workers and these companies employ the young who are not properly trained for such work.

                        IFB Horizontal Washing M/C — M/C not taking water

                        M/C under AMC is giving consistant Problem, is not taking water and makes LOT OF NOISE. M/C is at B19 PWD Colony, 218 Civil Lines, Meerut U.P.Mob [protected]
                        For past two months we had a problem in our IFB Digital washing machine while Rinsing and Spinning. A huge sound use to come when it starts Rinse and Spin. One day I found a small piece of stone near the machine. Then 2 weeks before the sound of the machine while Rinsing and Spinning was very high and I got afraid and stopped the machine in the middle. And wahsed all my clothes in hand. 15 days before I raised a compliant to Classic Enterprises in Perambur Chennai. While i complained him i told him that the stone piece where found, to make him to bring the product while coming for checking. But he came on Saturday (22nd November) and he said the stone have broken and this will happen since you are using the machine for more than 4 years. Then he said he will bring on Monday, we waited for monday but he didn't return back, when we called him he said the stone in stock so i sent and E-mail, when i get the stone i will come and do it. Until now we didn't get a call from him. I approached the service center on thsi Monday (30th Nov), the customer person is respomding it will take a week or 2 weeks time. I told her it is not possible to wait until that time, since i am a working women i cannot wash my clothes. She told me to call back on Thursday (today) when i called her she is responding as they may come on this Saturday if not call me on Monday. I am not getting any proper reply from the service center. I am waiting Saturday to come...

                        Another problem is sometime the machine will stop running and throw and error message, I use to read the manual and try to fix the problem as per the solution given. But NO USE the machine will not get starts even for an hour i waited. I raised this problem to IFB person when he came for another issue. He said call me when this error comes. This is the reply i use to get from them...

                        Please be careful before purchasing the machine. Other than Expensive of products, the service is very poor when we face a problem. This is my major bad experience with IFB.

                        My IFB washing machine was under AMC for sometime, an Agency called Vikas enterprises was servicing my machine.. During march 2010, Someone contacted me and informed me that the AMC was expired and due for renewal and expired and subsequely came and collected a cheque for Rs.1500 .The name appear on the AMC contract is EKATVAM .however, I found that the address and telephone numbers given in the AMC contact do not exist.
                        I request IFB india has to do something about this ...to prevent your customers falling prey to unauthorized service agencies .

                        On 18.12.2010 I made complaint on Tool Free No about my IFB SENATOR washing machine due to n/w. W/machine is under AMC. My Complaine No. is 5581316 Dt. 18.12.2010 and 5667124 Dt. 03.01.2011 & 05.01.2011. They informed that within 48 Hrs your call will be attended to. I think they have till more time for 48 Hrs.
                        The Technicians are not attending the complaints last 3 months

                        Performance:The washing machine started giving troubles during the warranty period and the problems multiplied after that period was over. Due to this I became apprehensive of the product quality and service so I took a comprehensive AMC since the beginning paying additional cost. I did not know that comprehensive AMC contract was a farce as the service is going to be handled professionally by IFB. The complaints of my washing machine were made more than 25 times during the last 6 ½ years and every
                        time the washing machine repairs took 3-30 days. During this intervening period the machine remained non functional. During last few years the complaints are as frequently as every other month. Though the service complaint is lodged in the le helpline prominently with assurance that technician will visit in next 24 hours. However, the technician will take their sweet time to visit. As a matter.

                        The company charges handsome money equivalent to more than 10% of the cost of washing machine every year for comprehensive AMC. This is no small expense considering that the product remains out of service during most part of the AMC period. It may be worth mentioning here that this is the 2nd Automatic washing machine which I have been using in the last 20 years. My first BPL automatic ABS45 washing machine hardly gave me any troubled time. There was no AMC required for that as the report of other users was very positive.

                          My washing machine stopped working around one week back. I called customer care and booked a complain. A representative from 'Perfect Cool Service, Powai-Mumbai' visited me 3 days after the complain registration. Within 5 mins at looking the machine, he said IMD card and display (or something else) are gone and they need to be changed. I paid cash Rs3,500 at the same time and a Cheque of Rs3,003 (or something in this range) for 2 years service coverage. He came to me after 4 days. He was quite evasive when i started asking about the exact fault and he insisted that replacing them was the only option. One of the spare parts that he bought looked quite old to me (he was trying to hide it from me). It was not packed/sealed either. When i checked the date, it was manufactured in 2005 where as the part which he was replacing was manufactured in 2007. Now i seriously doubt that original parts in my machine were faulty at first place. Same 'Perfect cool service' replaced my machine's motor 10 months back saying it was out of order, they charged me more than Rs3,500 for that. I want a mechanic/engineer from other service provider to visit me and check my machine. For a machine which i bought in around Rs17,000 in September 2008, i have already paid Rs10,000 in repairing and irony is that its still not working.

                              It has been a struggle from the day we purchased this low quality product. To top this, the after sales service and the people that they have to take care of this are horrible to deal with.

                              In the last 3 years, our latest struggle to get a faulty part replaced (gearbox,now) is running on to 40 days till date and the pity this is being followed by my old parents.

                              This is to my ultimate dismay being a Samsung customer, I suggested to buy a IFB because of its brand name in Washing machine for my home in Coimbatore.

                              The latest case # 7688272, registered on 5th Sep 2011 and the ordeal is still on. False promises, no responsiveness and ultimately no one turned up to help.

                              With this I regard, IFB are really 3rd grade company and also its people. Bare minimum, I need this service request resolved and later on, would like to talk to someone in IFB that are sensible and responsible for customer service

                                1. Within a year , you washing machine will give problems
                                2. The worst customer service , who say they are available 24 hr only to lodge complaints but not resolved. The franchise manager Sampath , are manager Sampath and the AP manager Ramky would not even pick up the calls to resolve the issues too.
                                The escalation matrix is worst and only name sake and because of these members and the quality of product , IFB is definitely a wrong investment for house appliances.

                                I have raised the issue on Sep14th where the person never turned up, Sept 23rd where Customer service came to home and said he has ordered for a part which will come in 2-3 days and never reported back., I lodged the complaint again on Oct 3rd where the Cust sevrice came and said it has to be taken to workshop which will be done on 7th.
                                Till 8th evening no has bothered to respond back and inform the customer of carrying the machine to workshop nor informing any delays.

                                Also the person who came on Sept 23rd could not even identify this problem and no wonder we doubt the training of these personnel.,
                                I have claled all the mangers franchise, area and AP manager who are pathetic that they did not even try to understand the issue and switched off their mobiles.


                                Cant expect anything else from them.

                                It is definitely a wrong investment by buying IFB products

                                  We have purchased an IFB Microwave/Convection Oven (Model # MWO-IFB-30SC2) on 25th February, 2010 for Rs. 11,5000 from Next Retail Shop in Lajpat Nagar Market. The latch on the handle broke a week before the expiry of the warranty. IFB provided a complaint # was 5903791. The latch was fixed but the problem persisted and the microwave door never opened smoothly - we strongly suspect it is a design flaw or the part that was used to replace the original latch made the problem worse. On June 2nd, the whole door of the microwave came out because of the problem with the latch. We had to wait for more than two weeks before the door was fixed. All this while, we had to encounter a lot of inconvenience in the kitchen. Around 20th August, the microwave broke down again and it took another two weeks for IFB to provide a replacement part for it to start failing again in three weeks. We have spent close to Rs. 1,350 on the repairs for something that surfaced during warranty and of all the hardship and inconvenience as the kitchen is running without microwave for substantial periods of time.

                                  We have asked the company to replace the defective microwave with a brand new one and to refund the amount that we have spent on repairs. I request the Government to take a firm action with IFB so that the company does not get away with such poor after sales and warranty service and customers are not inconvenienced in this way. We are so frustrated with IFB microwave and repeated repairs which clearly do not work that we want to buy another microwave and want the money refunded because we can't be at the mercy of IFB. I request firm and decisive action.

                                    1. The issue is still pending to be resolved 100%.

                                    Also please note, since the existing compliant has been closed by your authorized service agents, another fresh complaint has been taken by your customer care cell[protected] against the wrong closure of customer complaints. The compliant No.7317921 Dated 4th Oct 2011.

                                    Please note We as a customer has to get regular and proper after sales service, which is your duty to meet the consumer rights. But in addition to proper service, your agents are not responding to us in time and even no transparency in escalating the issues to their high level. Also when it is been taken up with higher officials, there is no call back to customers even from customer care centre or the higher official (to whom the complaint was escalated) to know the real status of complaint being addressed.

                                    In this scenario we as a customer have been taken to ride by your service agents, mislead to wrong information, false commitments, We were pushed to all kinds of high level mental pressure and physical difficulties to meet our daily needs with the IFB washing Machine. Moreover, our family people (My Mother) where pushed to severe physical difficulty even under their poor healthy conditions, which has affected here health condition severely. Also we have spend large amount of mobile calls which is unnecessary expense to us. These are the few difficulties to address and there are lots more such complaints prevail with us due to improper service providing of your authorized agent, which shall be in detail while addressing through legal note.

                                    please note as per our below email, we are forced take legal action against the above ill treatments by your authorized service group.

                                    This is to bring to your kind notice that IFB customer service in our locality (Thanjore, Tamilnadu) is totally absent/not active as required. Please note the complaint No:- 7069693 registered through[protected], which is almost a month due to address the machine fault. Also note the machine was bought very recently on 28th Jan 2011and with this short span of time from purchase kindly look at your service capability which in sorry/worst position. We as customer doesn't want to know your efforts, also do advice your people not to count their efforts rather please produce the result/output as required.

                                    The same is also brought to notice of your customer complaint cell several times through Phone No.[protected] but no results are sighted.

                                    This kind of worst customer service will spoil the brand image of IFB in rural market. Please understand the rural market is strong in its word of mouth marketing technique and this behavior will certainly bring down the market share.

                                    Hence request you to consider this a personnel note to know the reality in addressing the customer grievance by your authorized dealers/franchisee and ensure corrective action is taken to safe guard the brand image "IFB" and do also address our complaint very soon.

                                    If still the action is not taken, sorry but with no option we are forced to take legal proceedings against non fulfillment of consumer rights.

                                    I Strongly demand after sales service has to be at least to meet the basic criteria and looking at this detailed scenario of complaint, worst service manner is practiced and it has to be highly taken to legal proceedings on a/c of consumer rights complaint.

                                      I am the owner of an IFB Washing Machine model Senator 6 kg, purchased on 16th April 2008. IFB had entered into an annual maintenance contract (AMC) with me on 21st December 2010, valid for 12 months on payment of Rs. 2537 as the AMC fees (copy attached). The AMC covers any defects during the contract period.

                                      I logged a complaint on August 20, 2011 (10:05 am) to your customer care number, based on which a person visited our premises and assessed the problem and promised to return for rectifying it, but did not return. We logged in multiple reminders (seven in number) from mobile number [protected] and [protected] and were promised that the matter was being escalated and someone would soon visit our premises to take care of the problem. However, no action has been taken despite repeated reminders.

                                      Finally, I had called the customer care number on 10th September, 2011 (three calls at 9:53 am, 9:59 am and 1:23 pm) and complained that IFB was evading its obligations under the AMC and would result in a consumer complaint against the company, however, the same and a reminder on 13th September, 2011 (two calls at 8:54 am and 9:00 am) also failed to evoke any action.

                                      IFB Senator — annual maintenance contract

                                      the machine has been puchased on my father's name MR UMARSHI HEMRAJ GALA. we had entered into an annual maintainence contract for 2 yrs and the same will expire on 13th april 2009.we recd. a call ur company stating that the company was offering a 3yr annual maintainence contract for rs 3636. we signed the new contract and paid the amt. in cash to MR. JEETU THAKKAR who is working with DEEP ENTERPRISE 3 DATTA BHAVAN KRISHNAJI WAMAN CHITALE PATH, DADAR (W) MUMBAI - 400028. TEL NO: 24212168, 24371815. RECEIPT NO: STC NO. 967ON 19 january 2009. today i.e the 25th of january 2009 MR NITIN AN EXECUTIVE FROM YOUR COMPANY INFORMED US ABOUT THE EXPIRY OF THE CONTRACT. WE SAID THAT WE HAD ALREADY GIVEN IT TO THE COMPANY. HE INFORMED US THAT DEEP ENTERPRISE HAS DIS ASSOCIATED ITSELF FROM IFB SINCE 1 YR. WE AS CUSTOMERS HAD NOT BEEN INTIMATED BY THE COMPANY ABOUT IT AS TOLD BY MR NITIN. IF THE COMPANY IS NOT ASSOCIATED WITH DEEP ENTERPRISE THEN HOW IS IT POSSIBLE FOR THEM TO KNOW THE DETAILS ABOUT THE MODEL, DATE OF EXPIRY, ETC. ALSO HOW ARE THEY WORKING ON BEHALF OF THE COMPANY. WE WANT AN ANSWER TO OUR COMPLAINT ALSO HELP US IN TAKING THE AMT BACK. WE ONLY WANT TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH YOUR COMPANY . PLEASE TAKE STRICT ACTION AGAINST SUCH LIARS. WASN'T T THE DUTY OF THE COMPANY TO INFORM ITS CUSTOMERS? MR NITIN SAID THAT HE HAD RECD. SIMILAR COMPLAINTS FROM OTHER CUSTOMERS TOO.                                         I own an ifb elena aqua sx 1000 rpm washing machine .. I complained the customer care as the door was not opening . A guy named suraj came after more than 24 hours of registering the complaint and asks for bill and warranty card which i showed but then he asks for user manual for which i said i have to search for it, the guy starts to misbehave and asks for rs 6500/- saying that PCB and door lock are not working. When i asked that the machine is in warranty he quickly replies that without user manual you cant avail warranty.. where in the world does one require user manual to avail warranty..
                                        Really Pathetic customer service from IFB. I really suggest everyone not to go in for an IFB washing machine ever in your life.
