[Resolved]  Indane Gas — GAS LEAK / LATE DELIVERY etc

I was given a refilled gas Cylinder 2 days late, which leaks when a regulator is fited on it, I have tried with another Regulator but the same problem exists.
My gas distributor is never available on Phone his lines are busy through out working hours non stop. I have been trying to call him from the last three days but could not get to him to register the Gas leak complaint. Try out these number your self,[protected],[protected]

I would like some one to take a note of this problem, else consumer court looks like the only resort for me.

Also, Cylinders are not delivered on time committed by this agency, I would rate the services by agency at 2 out of 10 due to the following reasons:
1. They are not at all planned /foresited about mainting stocks just after any state or national holidays,
2. For every thing we have to go the agency,
3. Cylinder deliveries are not done timely,
4. No second cylinders are being given so that we can have back ups when we run out of Gas.

we have taken connection from k.vasanta, wright now she is out of station, and she will not come back, so when we r booking the gas they r saying that we need Id proof, she is not available, they are not giving any suggestion, we rae facing the problem.
please solve the problem.

my connection no BA/22081 in the name of PRAMOD KUMAR address 2J NORTH PLAZA CHAWALPATTY D.B. NAGAR BAGUIATI KOLKATA 700059 DEALER NAME CHIRANTANI GAS AGENCY 3 BANGUR AVENUE BLOCK C KOLKATA 700055. YESTERDAY THE 1.4.2010 AT 10PM GAS CYLINDER STARTED LEAKING AND WAS DETECTED BECAUSE OF TYPICAL SOUND.IMMEDIATELY AS A PRECAUTION WE PUT THE WHITE CAP AND SEALED ON THE MOUTH OF THE CYLINDER. IMMEDIATELY WE INFORM AT NO [protected]/[protected] AND MADE THEM AWARE OF THE SITUATION WITH A REQUEST TO SEND SOME BODY TO DO THE NEEDFUL SO AS TO AVOID ANY ACCIDENT. NO ACTION TAKEN. TODAY MORNING AT 9.45AM WE AGAIN CALL THE SAME NO. BUT THE PERSONS ON PHONE TOOK THE MATTER CASUALY AND TOLD US THAT THERE IS NO PERSON TO ATTEND YOUR CASE NOW WE WILL TAKE ACTION IN DUE COURSE.OUR GAS DEALER PHONE NO[protected] IS RINGING NO BODY IS PICKING THE PHONE.wE ARE APPRENSHIVE OF ANY MISS HAPPENING .THE PERSON PRESENT AT EMERGENCY PHONE NO [protected] TOLD HIS NAME AS MR S.P.THAKUR. WE HAVE NO OPTION BUT TO INFORM YOU SO THAT PROPER ACTION IS TAKEN IMMEDIATELY.THANKS

Nowadays, it appears that the washer in the gas cylinder of Indane Gas is of very poor standard as when cylinder is connected to the regulator, every time the gas leakage starts. It is requested that the concerned authorities look into this matter and take necessary steps

I am Indian Oil gas consumer, I deal with Radharaman Gas Service 72, Gangapuri, Putiary, Kolkata-93, who are the distibutor of my area, My problem is that after booking they have never supplied the gas on time. Presentely i booked the gas 18.01.2011, today 10.02.2011, no cylinder has reached my home. They harass us everytime we book our gas.The diller said " I have nothing to do, why you are disturbing me.I request you to please SOLVE MY PROBLEM AS EARLY AS POSSABLE.
I, SRI SATISH RANJAN MAJUMDER A RESIDENT OF 13 E/2 (125 NEW) RPM ROAD, UTTARPARA, HOOGHLY, PIN - 712258 (WEST BENGAL) HAVING A GAS CONNECTION BEARING CONSUMER NO 294 FROM THE PIONER CONSUMER CO.OP. STORES LTD. OF DUTTAPARA LANE, BHADRAKALI, HOOGHLY BEARING CODE NO. 96160038.
GAS LEAKAGE REPORTED ON 22.02.11 MORNING TO THE AFORESAID SUPPLIER, THE SUPPLIER SEND HIS REPRESENTATIVE AT ABOUT 14:00 HRS.  BUT THE SUPPLIER REPRESENTATIVE DOES NOT ABLE TO REPAIR THE PROBLEM.  AGAIN ON 23.02.11 EARLU MORNING I AGAIN REQUESTED TO THE SUPPLIER FOR THE SAME GAS LEAK.  BUT TILL NOW NOBODY TURNED TO REPAIR THE LEAK.  I AM AT THE AGE OF  80 YEARS CAN NOT RUN REPEATEDLY TO THE VENDOR.  YOU ARE REQUESTED TO KINDLY LOOK INTO THE MATTER SINCE IT IS VERY SERIOUS.
