i had recently purchased books in india today book club.
i had revieved the orderd books but i can not login into the site with the information they had sent
the member no and web id are not correct.
invalid user try again is the response.

i am a member of india today book club and i recieve a book-post in which there are many offers but the scheme for the tour of aeroplane delhi-guwahati is valid to august 2008 but i recieve the post 15 days ago.
So please give me any other scheme related to tour packages.

I have recived a call from miss priyanka yesterday and i told her to call back after one hour but there was no call from your side.

I'm also experiencing the same problem with India today Book Club. I have purchased from India today book club for Rs.764 but the gift of adidass bag and round trip air tickets not given to me. when i go through the web site as per their advice to register and collect the gifts, there is nothing to register and everything is fake. after that i've contacted customer support for help and submitted all the invoice and unique codes also but there is only mail reply regarding provide everything to collect gifts on behalf of me but till date i 've nothing received. It is going more than 2 months. Friends be careful, India today book club is making the Indians fool.

I spent Rs.2599/- but nothing is wrth the money and very poor customer service.

I also got the same mail as like you. I have ordered for an offer worth of Rs.999. But yet to pay the amount. Thanks for your help. You all saved my money. Why no one taking action against these sort practice.

Me too received a call today saying Rs 14000 assured gift (including holiday voucher) by paying Rs 2599 but reading your comments I am not going to pay for that.

Today I received a call from one guy, he enquired me about my personal details anout my residence etc .I want to know whether this people will missuse my mail id and my mobile number also they asked me about my address.

Yesterday i also got a call from one girl & she offered me the same gifts as that of holiday vouchers+free air tickets+a brendon watch total of worth Rs. 14000 on the purchase of classical music CD's pack of Rs. 2599 or a reebok kit of worth rs. 3100. I told her to call me back today & i m also ready to pay the amount but thankx to all the friends for this information to make me aware of these type of scams.

This is very informative about the Scams which are truly FAKE... We are in the most terrible time of RECESSION and seriously not in the position for any Lottery or any Winnings here... I too received such a email and you guys helped with all your comments...

I just a cal from indiatoday sweepstakes group, that i have been nominated to get 60 lakhs and 1 kg Gold for the contest to be held on march..I am not aware whether the contest is genuine and if I win, do I need to say some amount to get my spire.. i really request you guys to tell me whether this is a genuine sweepstake or is this a method to collect cash from us.

tx a LOT 4 d information...i was told about the Rs 2599 offer which included d cd pack, Rs 7000 worth airticket, and Rs 5000 worth holiday tour...i even got a call two times from ITBC regarding d offer, i was about to pay the money...but before that just wanted to check whether there might be any fakeness in the information...by God's grace i got 2 c ur ppl's comments...tx a lot 4 d eye opening.

Thanks to the feedback provided by all you ppl, i didnt put my money in such fake thing...
