[Resolved]  Indiatimes Shopping — non delivery of product

I have purchased micromax mobile from indiatimes shopping on 3rd feb 2010 & paid through icici credit card & my order no is[protected] but company not delivered the product to me till today i.e on 23.02.2010.They not response on my complain.

I have experiences with most of the shopping sites and more complaints about indiatimes..Indiatimes i purchased two items and got it both damaged, when called they told me to sent it back...after that no response and no reply...i lost my money and time...I prefer you for online shopping- http://shop.sunsim.in .because from most of others i got poor customer service/defective product /no response...But from sunsim i shopped 5 times and they have a good customer care and also will deliver in proper time and good product...tradus.in is also somewhat ok, but they have no many products in site...try this http://www.sunsim.in and that make you feel happy...i am sure...forgot about old shopping experience and don't refer anyone there...Happy shopping!!! I ORDERED A PRODUCT THROUGH INTERNET TO INDIATIMES SHOPPING.THE PRODUCT NAME IS HANDY & PORTABLE VACUUM CLEANER & THE ORDER NUMBER IS[protected],PAYMENT TICKET NUMBER IS 354869.I PAYMENT BY CHEQUE.THE CHEQUE CLEARED FROM MY ACCOUNT,BUT STILL NOW I DON'T RECEIVE ANY PRODUCT

I had ordered a mobile phone using my credit card from indiatimes shopping and was told that i would not be charged any processing fees by the person when doing the transaction. I was also given a tracking number. I was also told that i would be receiving this product withn 3 days.Infact the mobile order number is still to be found as well as i was charged another rs 300 as processing fees. its been 3 days and when i called the customer care....all they say is that there has been no order placed as its still not showing on their computer. My tracking number given is [protected] and the order was for a micromax Q5 mobile.If this is the service that india times is gonna provide i would make it a point to tell one and all that do not shop on indiatimes portal

I am very sorry to say that you are irresponsible in customer satisfaction. I have done a online purchase for Nokia 5800 tube Xpress phone through Credit card in 6 EMI, first EMI will be processed on 3rd of AUG but till now i havent received the product. The status shows as it has been delivered on 21 July, but till now I don’t have any update on this, either I don’t have the chance of cancellation, since couple of days when I call the call centre to find out the status, they repeat the same “ as it will get delivered in 2 days an its coming form UAE” bull , even if the do a normal courier it will reach India with in 5 to 6 days, its almost 11 days now(Aug 02, 2010), and there is no response either from India shopping times or from courier, today when call they say that for cancellation it requires 48hrs, it’s a shame on our part that we do give this type of customer service to our own Indians, that to from India shopping.

I had placed order for kindle wireless reading device on 13/Nov/10

Payment was done on the same day (13/Nov/10) by citibank credit card & delivery was promised within 7 working days, Today is the 8th Dec and i am yet to receive my order.

When i spoke to customer care center, I was informed it has been dispatched from thier place on 23/Nov. but still i have not received it. I took express It courier Telephone no. for pune which r following 26120638, 26123706, 26122440 but none of them are working.

My complaint no. for not receiving kindle device is 571327.

Its been more than a month that i ordered a apple green ipod 8 gb from india times and made the payment through creditcard.

I made a request of making the delivery only after giving me a call.

On 21st may I left mumbai and came back after 10 days.

On 4th june i called up India times and was told that the product was delivered on 22nd may and that i have collected the product.

But i havent and till date the product is not delivered.

On 4th june i made a complaint (My complaint no. 292917 with indiatimes) and was told that the product will be delivered with 7 working days. And till now i have been calling after every 2 days only to be said that it will be delivered after 48 hours.

India times shopping is running a fraudulent company under the umbrella of TIMES GROUP.

I ordered a product on Nov 4 2010 with order No[protected]. Received a wrong product, However sent back the product for replacement on Nov 15th.

Until now i have not been delivered the product I ordered. Have been calling up customer care daily but no results yet. From past 1 month daily I get to listen that my product will be delivered within 24hrs or 48hrs.

Please help me out.

I had never anticipated of such a business strategy service from TIMES GROUP.

During last two months i booked car utility combo and recently blodd pressure monitor from Indiatimes shopping.They booked my order,debited amount from my credit card and assured delivery within 10 days time.But on both occasion i was informed that your order has been cancelled without giving any cause and amount will be refunded.I felt frustrated and cheated as i wanted product and not the amount paid.

I had purchased two products from indiatimes ( this was my first and last order) with order id [protected] on 13-Jan.
Out of two products one is shown as cancelled on the website, without any intimation to me.
I tried calling Indiatimes several times, also started online chat and sent SMS to call back ( this is a service as promised by them)
but there is no response.

I had read about the reviews that Indiatimes is a fraudulent site on consumercomplaints, on mouthshut but thought let me give a try and I was also fooled.

It looks like Shopping.indiatimes.com is a fraudulent site run by group of anti-social elements as it does not befits group like Times of India.

All those who have been cheated by this site, should unite and write a letter to Prime Minister office and seek help of CBI to catch hold of this cyber criminals. They should be given severe punishment in court of law for cheating citizens of India.
I am going to do that personnely and also inform ministry of consumer affairs

MY WIFE, NITHU IK, PURCHASED A VALENTINES DAY GIFT ONLINE FROM INDIATIMES SHOPPING, ORDER NO. OF THE PURCHASE WAS [protected] & THE AMOUNT PAID WAS Rs.1045, IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DELIVERED ON 14TH FEB'12, BUT THE GIFT WAS NOT DELIVERED. ON TRYING TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE, CALLS WERE PLACED & TEXT MESSAGE COMPLAINTS WERE REGISTERED BUT WE NEVER GOT ANY RESPONSE. THE LEAST THEY COULD HAVE DONE WAS RESPONDED BACK & COULD HAVE EXPLAINED THE DELAY, BUT THEY NEVER BOTHERED, WE FEEL CHEATED.

The site is very much owned by TOI. Their after sales support is really bad. I have gone through it and now you are realizing it. Beware and stay away.

Nothing will work. They are well connected and your dreams of writing to pmo and cbi will never come true. They will continue to cheats the Indian public and ordinary people like us will watch and do nothing. The best you can do is stop their newspaper subscription and avoid ordering these Chinese fakes. Go out to your local market and buy genuine indian goods...that way at least you will help strengthening our country.

I ordered a sewing machine and food processor. Both failed at first use. Placed a complaint with Times of India. They promised to replace...no action taken. Sent escalation mail. Still no response.

Its time to realize that TOI is polluting our country with cheap China goods (both the products I ordered were made in a village of china). This is affecting our Indian industries. Their after sales support and response is zero...their standard answer is "in 72 hours we will have someone pick it up from your doorstep". Also realize that, all you have is a call center number and a mail id...there is nothing you can do to take penal action on them.

Beware and stay away!

It was a lesson learned for me too..I ordered 4 times but all were canceled. According to their staff its because of out of stock. My advice is never ever order from Shopping India times website.

i ordered a product samsung galaxy s2(creamic white) from this site.and they gave me a ultimatum of 29th august for the delievery of the product.but i didnt recieve the product.everytime i call them they say sir we will call u within 24 to 48 hrs.today is 29th and im still struggling for the product.now i just and just want my refund.kindly give me my refund WITH PENALTY urgently.

I had purchased from Indiatimes on 9th dec 2012 with order id [protected] but did not receive the product( samsung led tv 32 inch 38900 Rs)

I tried calling their numbers, also initiated online chat and sent an SMS to call back but they are all again again told 48 hour time ..

I feel this is a finance Company or cheating company .The owners are cyber criminals and should be booked under criminal offense to our nation.

They are provide again again Duplicate courier . i thig they are cheated to all , so pls block this website and collect all customer money.
