sir, i had shopped at shopping.indiatimes.com for a blackberry storm 9530 mobile for Rs10688/- but they had cancelled my order after payment and gave me reason of non-deliverable location. they told me that my payment will be refunded within 3 working days and they had showed that the payment is refunded on 19/07/2011. but till today 22/07/2011 i didn't recieved any refund. i had mailed several times to indiatimes and i also called at their customer care but i didn't get any satisfying answer. my order no. is[protected] on 18/07/2011, i m going to bank daily to know my account status this affected my personal life and my job a lot. i want my money to be refunded and also to pay me harrasment charges. my account no is [protected] on my name Tajinder singh at punjab national bank, g.t. road kartarpur, distt. jalandhar, punjab, india, my contact details are mob. i am getting too much harrased... please solve my problem as soon as possible otherwise i don't have any other way then commiting suicide... i am daily going to both hdfc and punjab national bank... and calling the cutomer care of indiatimes... i am not getting any satisfying answer... today i recieved a call from indiatimes shopping. they gave me a no. called KRN. no. 75140681200068133205760... i then go to both banks one by one.. but the managers told me that there they didn't recieved any payment till now and there is nothing like krn no. or anything like that.. i am much frustrated now... please help me...

    Hello sir / ma'am,
    on the[protected] I had purchased blackberry storm 9530 by calling indiatimes - ad placed in times of india of rs.10499.Order.No[protected] & sub-order no.3891020. According to the advertisement & after calling them up, the india times shopping people told me that there would me no processing fee or any interest from their end as I was opting emi facility for 6 months of rs. 1799. To be 100% I confirmed the same with the hdfc bank, whether they would charge anything on my credit card, hdfc also confirmed they would not charge anything such. I had received the product on the[protected].On the same day I transferred all my information from old blackberry to the new blackberry storm 9530, after setting up the phone settings according to my profile & activating all the required service, the phone shutdown automatically & since then after turning on the phone display was totally blank. Although the phone DID turn on but the display was totally blank. Since I had to leave for hyderabad that evening so I decided to take it to the blackberry service center, where I was informed that I was sold a refurbished & defective product. I immediately called indiatimes customer service immediately at first they immediately refused to take any complaints, after calling them up several times my complain was registered with complain no -180670. I was told I would get an email within the next 24-48 hrs about the order cancellation & procedure but I had received the mail on the 7th of july 2011. The email is enclosed below:-

    Step 3: the aramex courier will visit your address and pickup the product from your doorstep, afterwards they will give you a ten digit invoice number known as awb number at the time of picking of the product.

    Kindly call up the customer care on the below mentioned numbers and provide the awb number .

    So receiving the email I immediately called indiatimes shopping & stated the same that I was out of my home town & the product was at my house as I will be back from hyderabad on the 18th of july & then only I can send back to them & they confirmed that it would not be a problem. On the 19th on july when I called them up they confirms me that the order cancelation has been closed, when I enquired as to why there’s nobody willing to give any kind of answer & when I demand to speak to a supervisor, they simply denied on the face & put me on hold for more than 20 -30 min, till I DID not disconnect from my end. I really do not know what to do. I have spoken to several people, who has been denied support from india times shopping through www.Grahakseva.Com & all of them confirmed the same that they had been duped by india times. I'M just a college student who had a desire to purchase a blackberry after saving months of pocket money & so I seek your assistance to unearth such unscrupulous so called online shopping platforms cheating/Be fooling people who gets prompted to by produce through these channels. I just want to cancel the order & stop any kind of further payments to indiatimes shopping. Please help me

    Blackberry Storm 9530 3g — Product not delivered yet

    It has been 2 weeks since i have not received my order 1565130 blackberry storm 9530 3g i ordered it by seeing it from a newspaper thinking that it would be delivered shortly but till now i haven't received anything i have talked to the customer support there are worse than anything.

    Please take action on my above complaint and deliver it as soon as possible.

      Seagate — 1TB External Hard Disk purchase of Indiatimes

      Sir, I Surendra Kumar My MO. No. [protected] , I have purchase 1TB External Hard Disk from India times Shopping , But i Have received Dummy Piece (Not Working), I have check warranty on Line but not fount. I have correspondence by E-Mail and call center but not Given Proper response received. So i requested to you kindly accept my complain and solve because i Alfred totally and sir kindly help refund my money.

      Dear sir,

      I have received the product[protected]TB seaget External Hard Disk (Dummy Piece).
      And I was quite surprised that the same Dummy Piece item has sent to me in a new pack from India times vendor Mumbai and Mr. SUdhir Raj (India Times Executive) confirm me a product has sent seaget company. Product a dummy piece. And I have send so many Mails and Calls to india times call centre but not proper response and some days before I have received mail[protected] for refund my hard money after received delivery 1TB seaget external hard disk but till date I have not received my money refund. And Mr. sudhir raj not given proper responses. I am very afraid.
      What a cheating company - my god.
      And these company should be punished.
      You should have been black-list this company long back.
      As I believe this cheat organisation must has done this kind of cheating previously too.
      And they may not faced a guy like me before - and they and you guys thought I may give up sometime in between.
      But you should know - everybody is not same - and I will going to end this cheating business of yours and India times shopping.
      I am going to lodge a complain in Indian Govt. Customer Grievance Cell
      And I am also sending mail to :

      Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions : Smt. Shyamalima Banerjee, Director (PG), DAR&PG, Sardar Patel Bhawan
      and to few others... you just don't know how far I can go with this kind of cheating.
      And its a deliberate cheating - and I will go as far as possible to punish the cheater.
      I no longer need this item, and I am not returning this item - as I am really tired with mails and return mails, but am keeping the broken item for further investigations if done by India Govt. officials.

        had ordered a touch screen phone a month back from indiatimes. Phone is really bad quality. The touch screen doesn't work. the stylus is missing from its slot. Despite repeated complaints they are yet to provide a resolution. They just keep saying they are checking with their vendor. Its a month since i made the payment. we have exchanged 10 mails . everytime a new customer representatiive writes a standard mail that they are checking with their vendor and will revert in 48 hours. its already 3 weeks. I am fed up. I want my money back.

          I placed an order on Indiatimes Shopping website on June 21, 2011. Today is July 17, 2011 and I still haven’t received my order. Worst is this was ordered as a gift for my wife’s birthday and I am just being embarrassed every moment at home.


          1. First Indiatimes Shopping said that the order would be shipped within 6 working days. On the 7th working day I sent an email to them asking for a status update. They replied 5 working days later that they have received my complaint and asked me to be patient. They also told me that my order has been shipped and gave me a fraudulent tracking number on Aramex Couriers. When I went to the Aramex Couriers website and used that tracking number to track my shipment, I get a "Updating Shipment Status" even today.


          2. I waited for 4 more days and asked for a status update from Indiatimes Shopping. They responded 2 days later telling me that since I had asked for a update, they had a SLA of 10 working days to sort out the issue. Now how is that for a slap on my face?


          Now my patience is long gone and I am writing this to save potential online shoppers on Indiatimes Shopping to stay away from them forever.

            Nearly 3 months ago i had ordered a car stereo from indiatimes shopping .After waiting for so many days we received a dead one .we had to send it back with assurance that we would get it back within 15 days.Today nearly one month has passed and no sign of it still.Now i think we are just fools waiting for it.In a day or two i would be surely contacting the consumer court and will make sure that this whole scene is in the newspaper. i will surely make sure that i get justice .

            Indiatimes Shopping — Received Faulty Car Stereo from Indiatimes

            Hello Sir,
            I ordered Car Stereo worth of 2200 INR from Indiatimes on 14th April'2011 against Order no[protected].
            I received the same by End of April & I made Cash Payment. I went to Electrical Mechanic in A Showroom to install the Stereo.
            As per Mechanic the Stereo was not switching ON. I checked with another showroom person same result. I Paid 100 rupees to both Mechanics.
            I raised complaint by calling Customer care , they told me send back the Stereo through Aramex Courier as they have tie up with Aramex.
            I called Aramex Person but they didnot came on first call. I again called them & couriered the Stereo through Aramex to Indiatimes address vide docket no [protected].
            Now as per Aramex stereo the stereo has been delievered to Indiatimes.
            As per Indiatimes Stereo has not been received by them.

            I am getting pissed off in between the Two.

            I have put several mails & I have called several times to Indiatimes but all waste.

            I have again raised new complaint no 58044 with same matter as they are not getting any old complaint no against this order no- some database problem.

            I have enen mailed the Operation Heads same matter but no one is giving clear committements.

            I request you to escalate the matter & help me out.

                But this time they lost all my trust...

                Today I received the Demand Draft on named SAMUDHARA PATAK. (Which is wrong)

                I am requesting to send me the DRAFT with correct name that is Mr. SAMUDRA PATHAK

                  My order number is[protected] and I had ordered for a sleeping bag from Indiatimes shopping on June 27th. Immediately after the payment was made by my credit card online, the shipping address (Hyderabad) changed to my billing address (Chennai). I emailed [protected]@indiatimes.co.in and Kishore Kumar replied asking for Hyderabad address. I replied to his email with my Hyderabad address thinking that it was sorted out. Today, June 30th, I'm getting an email that my order has been shipped to Chennai. I called up Customer Care and both agents whom I spoke to said 2 different things. 1 said, Dont take the shipping in Chennai, order will get cancelled and you can place another order. With this kind of service, do yuo ever think I'll come back to Indiatimes to order again? And the other agent said, dont take the delivery in Chennai, it will be sent to Hyderabad. I told her that I spoke to BlueDart and my order has still not been dispatched, so kindly arrange it to be delivered in Hyderabad, instead of my order going to Chennai and coming to Hyderabad, but she refused. A simple coding issue of retaining Billing address and Shipping Address on the site could have avoided this issue. Indiatimes needs to rework on your shopping cart coding and hire some better agents to handle callsupervisor email ID.

                    Indiatimes shopping is one of pathetic website to do shopping. On 6th June, 2011, I have ordered headphones with a mic they have given me order no.[protected].But till now it has not delivered.They will give us some fake courier number will show that it has been delivered.They have tie up with T&T, their report shows my product has been delivered but nothing is my hand.Today they called me (14th June, 2011) telling that your product will be delivered till 21st June, 2011.I dont know when these people cannt manage their websites why do they make such websites.

                      Now from now on nothing was going in the right direction and day by day i started feeling cheated. :(

                      First of all I received a damaged product which was never picked up for the replacement even after multiple follow ups and several call made to indiatimes customer care. Each time I call the customer care I was told that the parcel will be picked up in another 2-3 days but that never happened. Finally I only have to take the pain to send it to the mailing address which was provided to me in the mail below.

                      I was told that once I send the parcel through the courier I just need to provide the AWB number to the indiatimes customer care with the name of the Courier Company and the replacement will be taken care. Which is not the actual case.

                      Another blunder was that there is no contact number mentioned with the address and when the product was about to deliver I came to know from the courier person that the address is no more valid and again I have to do an excercise to get the correct address from indiatimes customer care by telling them the whole scenario everytime I make a call.

                      Now when the product is delivered to the mentioned address I contacted the indiatimes customer care regarding the replacement of the product but then again a new thing has come up that I need to provide either the courier slip or POD (Proof of Delivery) which was never mentioned in the initial conversation even in the Reverse Pickup Procedure mail which was sent by customer care. After providing the courier slip again I get a mail asking for POD.

                      I felt cheated and harassed by indiatimes customer care to get the product replacement I have spend more than the half of the product cost in making calls getting things done so far and sending the damaged product back. I dont see any worth now in getting the product replaced even the interest in replacing the product has gone. Requesting you to keep the product with you and kindly stop harassing and cheating customers.

                        I had ordered for a mobile phone from Indiatimes Shopping website on May 30, 2011.
                        And I logged a complaint on June 8, 2011 for the non-receipt of the product.
                        To my surprise when I called up customer care and spoke to 3 different tele-executives and all the three times my call was disconnected after I asked them about the details of my shippment.
                        Lastly I spoke to one more guy from Indiatimes who in turn asked me to contact Aramex Courier. I called up Aramex and got a very stupid kind of answer. Later I went to their website and got the below details which I would like to share with all:

                          As per advertized in Mumbai mirror paper in 20 april 2011 this HTC ozone is 3G enabled to confirm that phone is supporting GSM 3G services I called indiatimes customer care they also confirmed same, hence I purchased this mobile. took Vodafone 3G connection and it was not working, to verify I went vodafone gallery they told me that this phone is not 3G enable.
                          I again complaint in indiatimes shopping and i talk with Amit Kumar (Sr.Executive) and they refuse to take this product back. and when i told that i will complaint this matter in court he told me that do whatever you want to do i can’t help.
                          So i need this indiatimes shopping close permanently otherwise they will do with other customer also.

                            I had ordered a BlackBerry Storm 9530 phone through an Indiatimes Shopping advertisement in Delhi Edition of Times of India dated 12th May, 2011 on page 2 (http://epaper.timesofindia.com/Default/Client.asp?skin=pastissues2&enter=Lo... it is clearly mentioned in the advertisement that the phone is GSM 850/900/1800/1900 which means that this phone should support the GSM Sim, i.e. it should support Vodafone Delhi/NCR sim. Also I asked this thing while placing the order whether the phone is GSM or CDMA, then they said me that this is a GSM Handset.
                            I placed the order on 12th May, 2011 with order number as[protected] dated 12th May, 2011 and I had paid in advance through the Credit Card and I got my Mobile on 19th May, 2011 through courier. When I opened the product it, then I found it to be a CDMA Set whose IMEI or MEID HEX is A000000D0886E6.
                            Also the phone is touch screen but the it is not working by touching the screen so I am not been able to use any of the function of the phone. i think that I have been supplied with a faulty Handset intentionally.
                            I am provided with a Folding Blade Charger which we can not use here in India normally.
                            I contacted the customer care that at very moment and they registered my complaint and gave me the complaint number as 831045.
                            I want me phone replaced within 5-6 days that is before 25th May, 2011. My contact number is [protected]. I want to you say you all that all these online shopping companies specially Indiatimes are a big Cheater.

                              I bought a Nicer Dicer with order no[protected] from Indiatimes.com and it has become useless right after the first use. The blades have cut through the plastic projections on the lower base and because of that
                              the cleaning tool can no longer be inserted between the grooves on the base making cleaning almost impossible. Also the blades do not cut properly, only half the piece is cut and that too with great difficulty. If this is the situation after just 1 use, it will become completely unusable after 2 more uses. This is a horrible
                              product and I will not return to buy anything from Indiatimes again. I am a regular buyer on ebay and have never had any complaints with the products I buy there. Really repent buying stuff from Indiatimes, should have stuck to my trusted eBay only instead.
                              This is a fake product and I registered a complaint with their customer care [ Ticket Number: SHOP-388026 ]. As per their communication, Aramex courier is supposed to pick this bacl from me and on quoting the AWB number provided by them, Indiatimes will refund my money. Till date, I have spoken to Aramex a dozen times and everytime they say they will pick up the product and it has not been done till now. Date of first contact with Indiatimes is 13 Apr and I am posting this complaint on 18 May. For more than a month, and repeated mails they do not do the needful. I would suggest everyone never to buy anything from Indiatimes.com. I buy regularly from eBay and they sell only genuine products, so this is the way to go. Dont trust this fake Indiatimes. If anybody has any solution, please help.

                                I have ordered for baby career through online shopping from indiatimesshopping.com .I have paid the full amount .As per there site it should be delivered withing 6 working days. It is already more than 20 days I am not yet got the product. When I cantact to the shopping custmer care they said we have delivered in corier but they are not delivered it. And when I said them to refund my money they not refunding that and not also replying to my mail.

                                Please help me to refund my money.
                                Indiatimes online shopping is really a cheeter site.They are deliver the products ontime and also they are not refund the money which you pay for the product.
                                They are cheater.

                                  I purchased the following from Indiatimes Readers Offer ;-

                                  They delivered the same to me and took cash on delivery.
                                  Soon upon opening it - I found that the adapter was faulty and so was the foot pedal.

                                  I immediately called up the customer service and they told me to email them.
                                  Upon emailing them , they sent me an email saying that I am supposed to replicate the same packing as the product came in along with the thermo col and everything and courier it to them spending my money on the courier.

                                  I replied to them that I do not have the packing anymore and asked them that will this be the reason that they will not replace the machine ?

                                  After this they have not answered at all.

                                  All the summer holiday is coming to an end and I have not been able to sew anything for a summer vacation project.

                                  Can you please help and get me a working machine or refund my money totally.

                                    On the above order#[protected], sub order# 3733934, I purchased from http:/Shopping.Indiatimes.Com/, On mar 21, 2011 a set of 6 dvds of "24 season 8 (the final season)" for rs. 1499 + rs. 30 shipping charges = total rs. 1529 which was debited by net banking to my ICICI savings bank account #[protected] the same day.

                                    On delivery on mar 26, 2011 I found after opening the package,the DVD cover crushed and 2 dvds broken and immediately lodged online at the site, ticket#shop-387563, complaint#740960
                                    site replied on mar 27, 2011 assuring resolution in 4 working days.

                                    On mar 28, 2011 they emailed me reverse pickup procedure
                                    when no courier came for reverse pickup, I reminded them thrice by emails on mar 30, apr 2 and apr 3, 2011

                                    they replied on apr 3, 2011 asking me to courier it to the merchant, cygnet corporation (at fp-17, tps iind, andheri 2nd var, behind paras building, 22, dadabhoi road, andheri (west), mumbai 400058, no contact number provided) myself from any of their select list of couriers, as their courier aramex DID not have pickup facilities at lucknow.

                                    To cooperate and get early replacement of my damaged dvds, I couriered via their approved agency blazeflash awb#[protected] and same day, emailed them on apr 4, 2011 attaching scanned copy of receipt for rs. 50 (well within their limits of rs. 500) for reimbursement to me. This too has not been reimbursed despite repeated requests.

                                    Blazeflash informs that my reverse courier to merchant cygnet could not be delivered due to 'incomplete address'
                                    since then, customer service of http:/Shopping.Indiatimes.Com/ Has been avoiding the issue, not replying and not providing email ID to escalate my complaint to.
                                    They have also not responded to my requests for complete refund of my money.
                                    I have spent more money on dozens of std calls to their customer service line, emails (25 !)and scanning.
                                    I would happily forego my rs. 1579 (rs. 1529 product + 50 reverse courier = rs. 1579) as lost but I want heavy penal damages from them to be donated to charity/Any ngo for all the harassment they have caused me.

                                    shopping.indiatimes.com is a completely fraud company .After i canceled my order they called me from[protected] and said me we are apologized for our mistake please give your account details we ll return back your money but I doubted, how i trust you you are from indiatimes shopping then he give a call on[protected]Official india times number) and asked my debit card details including pin number to refund the amount.When i refused to give my details suspecting a fraud, the indiatimes guy called me from a number identical to SBI toll free number[protected] .
                                    Actually he called me from the number[protected] .i mistook the call from number [protected] as a call from SBI toll free number[protected] . I was little busy, i trusted the guy and gave my all details.

                                    instead of refunding my amount they used my card details and debited my entire balance .I think there is a big racket involving in this .

                                    I have no other way now ., but to report it to mybank report.[protected]@sbi.co.in

And Rs. 5/- has been deducted. But I HAVE NOT REQUESTED SUCH SERVICES. PL. DO STOP OR UNSUBSCRIBE THIS SERVICE WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT. BECAUSE I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TYPE OF SERVICE IT IS.

                                      Unwanted subscription charges for blessings and bollywood etc are being billed through airtel. There is also no provision for unsbscribing or stopping these msgs in any way. Kindly help in gting these charges reversed/ stopped.
