I would like to draw your attention towards this case where I had booked a Nokia C2-00 White phone through Indiatimes Shopping Dated 30th July with advanced payment of Rupees 2401 and the product was to be expected by date 6th of August.When made a contact with Indiatimes's customer service,they had no clue whether the product has been delivered or not,on top of that their attendant was giving no assurance of furthur status of the product,whether they will refund me the money or not or will they hand me the product safely .If the Indiatimes shopping expects us to pay in advance,why isn't the product reached till date? And it has been a week with no furthur notice to me about the product's delay.I spent 24 minutes with the customer service's attendant inquiring about my order today at 3:14 pm(The customer service number was not toll free).This type of inconvinience shall be equal to fraud commited by the Indiatimes shopping team and I will now want to know what action will be taken against this and want my product or my fee back.Thankyou

    I ordered a ":P18823 - Prestige Non Stick Omega Deluxe Cookware OMNI TAWA 300". The product description under Item Details header on the website says it comes with a GLASS LID. However, they sent me one WITHOUT A GLASS LID! On calling their customer support today, they claimed that the customer need to inform them of such an issue within 24 hours of delivery. I have ordered this as a Raksha Bandhan gift for my sister and so only opened it yesterday to discover this cheating! BE AWARE of the CHEATERS!

      I have made a purchase at shoppingIndiatimes.com ,online almost a month back for purchase of books .

      1- Inspite of flat 30% advertisement they charged full amount to my credit card .This is after promo codes were punched on the web on given date.
      2- When we called up the call centre they said , it has to be customers fault only .They asked us to cancel the order and take refunds.
      3- Now even after such a long time and constant reminders from us on mail, there is no reponse.

      Horrible but if that is the standard of service ,its better to not use this website.Wish if someone from the organisation can help

        Dear Team,

        I ordered a bouquet online on indiatimes shopping which was suppose to be delivered on a particular date as it was a birthday wish bouquet and the despite the confirmation while placing order and continuously following up on customer care helpline the order was not completed on time.

          I want to tell you about the online shopping site - www.shopping.indiatimes.com . Many people order from this site by seeing it as a part of "the times of india group" , but it is doing fraud , first of all it does not give bill/invoice to people due to which product bears no warranty and may be it saves vat & service tax by doing so . Bill/Invoice is mandatory by govt . but it is breaking rules openly . Second thing is that i ordered from the site on 21st july 2012 with order no [protected] and i was told the delivery time 5-7 days but now 12 days already passed . They told me that they had shipped my order on 26th july to Delhivery courier services with awb no [protected] , but when i called delhivery they told me that no such order is received by them . Again i called to www.shopping.indiatimes.com , they registered my complaint and told me that i will get call regarding this within 48 hours , but i received no call yet . Same problem happened with me and others , i am also providing their name with order no - Me - [protected] Priyanka Garg - [protected] Pramod Aggarwal - [protected] Bankatesh Choudhary[protected] Perwaz Ahmed - [protected] and many more .             DO NOT EVER buy products online from Indiatimes Shopping. They are frauds. They will take your money and not deliver the product for weeks. If you really peruse them, they will ask you to cancel your order. Their customer care representatives are useless and are part of the fraud.

              I made an online order with indiatimes shopping on July 8th for a 40 inch LCD TV(Toshiba Brand). [Order:[protected]] After many followups with them, I finally got the product on 23rd of July. When I opened the package, it was a 32 inch TV. I ordered a 40 inch Toshiba TV and I got a 32 inch from another brand. And from that day, I have been calling them almost everyday and they keep telling me that my complaint is under processing and will be updated in 24-48 hours.
              It has been 10 days now and they are still telling the same.
              Please keep away from shopping with them.

                  I want to unsbuscribe the Bikini Babes subscription. It was informed by india times that the subscription can be withdrawn at any time by clicking http://wap.indiatimes.com/wapunsub.html?=subwapbik. But no such site address is seen available. Rs.5/- is being deducted daily from my available balance. So i register this complaint and request that the services may be unsubscribed from 27.07.2012 onwards and no subscription may be made after that. If it is not possible i will change my cell connection when the balance amount exhausts. I have tried so many attempts to stop the subscription but all my efforts are become fruitless efforts. stop subscription to the address mentioned above.

                        Hello All,
                        I am bound to write this review against shopping.indiatimes.com due to their fraud and pathetic service. I have ordered 3 items against the order number [protected] on 22 May 2012 from their website. Out of which I got 2 items on 31 May 2012 which consists of Micromax Q5C mobile and a Sandisk 32 GB Memory Card.

                        When I received the packet and opened it I found that the mobile box seal is opened. I still neglected it and open the box and took the mobile out from box and put my sim card in it. Then I took out the battery from the box and found that it was swelled and could not be able to fix in the mobile because of its thickness. I immediately checked the box and found that the box was having a manufacturing date of July 2010. That means this guys simply did the fraud with me. They took the money for a new handset and sent me an old handset which is almost 2 years old and only due to this the battery was swelled in the box.

                        Regarding this I immediately called the vendor through which I got the invoice and handset. He told me to make a complaint on indiatimes customer care. I then called their customer care and here is the records of calls made on that day and thereafter:

                        This simply shows that I have made 16 STD calls in last month and each time I have been told that I would get a call from their side in 24-48 hours but still after a month their 24-48 hours is not finished and I am simply still waiting for their call.

                        On 18 June 2012 When I called them they told me that they are arranging reverse pickup of the product and provided me the details for aramex courier and also told me to call them to fetch the product from my side. Then I have to call to the courier company on 22 June 2012 and then they picked up the product from me on 23 June 2012. I have been told to put the address of the vendor. I did the same. I myself packed the box and spent money on packing too.

                        I was shocked on 29 when I saw that the vendor denied to receive the product. I called their customer care and I was told that the address is wrong which on shipment tracking website it is clearly mentioned that the vendor denied to receive the product. I called the vendor and he told me to sent the product to indiatimes.com and told me that he will not receive any product.

                        As per my records anyone can see that I made various calls to their customer care and in one of the call one guy Abhijeet told me that they are not going to change the proiduct. He told me that they sent me the product directly from manufacturer and now the responsibility of the warranty is of manufacturer not their’s. I want to mention that I also called Micromax customer care and they told me that there is no warranty of swelling battery.

                        This simply notifies that my 2844/- Rs. has just gone away. I ordered a mobile as I really need one. But after a month I am not able to use the mobile.

                        In this last month I was mentally harassed by them and also harassed with my money which I spent in purchasing the mobile and then spent to make calls to them.

                        I strongly recommend to not to buy any product from their website and as I am a software freelancer, I also will run a social media campaign against this company. I also sent my story to various news channels and news papers so that each and every person would know that they should not purchase anything from these fraud company.

                        Times Group is a big group and this kind of support was never expected from their side but I think when a company got bigger the value of customer is decreased for them.

                        Please spread this story as much as you can so that each and every person could know about this. I also would like to request the forum to guide me so that I can file a case against this comapny for such a harassment against me.

                        i am completed shocked to hear this fraud incident by Times group !!! I wanted to order an item i saw in Times of India newspaper dated Sept 17, 2013 but first decided to check what bloggers say about the experience...Thank God, i saved few thousands. Buit why could such a seemingly group of repute cheat their readers or clients ????? You shud imdeiately file case against Times group in the consumer court. I 'll spread the news that NOBODY shud ever purchase and waste their money on this group !!!

                          I ordered for Asus Wireless Router on 11 Jun 2012, it has not been delivered after 7 weeks. The payment was made in full and in advance. A case number 285538 was opened with Indiatimes Shopping initially, and god knows how many more after that! They promised to call back in 24 hours but have NEVER done so. I have spent 1-1.5 hours on calls, sent 50+ emails, wasted all my money on calls and time. But they are quite tough skin to message through to.
                          Never shop with Indiatimes again.

                            I purchased a blackberry tour 9630 in January end 2012 through Indiatimes Shopping and made a payment through my ICICI credit card. The product was delivered in a week's time but after few days o[censored]sage the keypad of the handset stopped functioning . I took the handset to BlackBerry gallery in Lucknow where I was asked to lodge a complaint with the company through which the handset was purchased. Since then I have been complaining ,online and telephone, and in return I always get a mail that somebody from the department would contact within 48-72 hours which never happens except on the first occasion when some employee told me to keep the handset packed in the box as some courierman was supposed to come and collect it for replacement. But till today nobody has come nor anybody bothers to contact on phone and provide a solution. Every time I receive a mail with same content and excuse.Order Number Sub Order Number Product Details

                            IndiaTimes escalation is bunch of few who just use some practiced statements to pacify the Customer and than disappear after that. They have a presence here to show public that they are working on the complaints but in reality nothing happens. My complaint is due for past 4 months with escalation. No matter how much discount you get; stay away from IndiaTimes.

                            If you used credit card to pay the money, charge back them.

                                The Order was placed on 24th June 2012 for a house hold appliance. The order was confirmed on 25th June 2012 and the verification was completed on 25th June 2012. But the amount was charged to my credit card on 24th June even before confirming and verifying the order. On 2nd July 2012, they have cancelled my order without any information either through phone call or even through e-mail. Today 3rd July 2012, when called for the reason for cancellation, their customer service is behaving rudely and as if they are doing a favor, they are informing the amount will be refunded after 4-6 business working days.

                                When started checking the websites it is evident that Indiatimes is indulging in unethical business practices like taking orders on out of stock products where the amount is in thousands, This way they can collate in lakhs if not in crores so that it will be non interest paid cash flow which can be used for other purposes. I have also seen people waiting for months for their refunds which is very unethical and immoral business standards.

                                On top it when I request the customer service person to transfer to manager, one lady Dolly (Not sure if it is the real name) was not even able to talk fluent english, I had to ask her to talk in Hindi.

                                PEOPLE PLEASE BE AWARE OF THESE THUGS. IT IS BETTER TO GO TO A STORE AND PAY 5% MORE BUT YOU WILL BE SURE YOU WILL GET THE PRODUCT.

                                  I have placed an online order (Order No. [protected]) for Samsung mobile at Indiatimes Shopping on 11th June 2012 and made the payment for the same right then by my Debit Card (Indian Bank). The order was cancelled by the company on 19th of June 2012 due to non availability of the ordered product. Since then I am complaining them regarding my refund and they are just giving me further dates for the resolution of the problem. I am a student, so due to non refunding of my amount of Rs. 4270 I am facing difficulties. Kindly resolve my problem as soon as possible.

                                    Receipt of Micormax Funbook in Damaged Conditions
                                    Hi,

                                    I had placed an order with Indiatimes shopping on 18th May 2012 for purchase of Micromax Funbook tablet (Order No. [protected]). The tablet was recived by me via Bluedart express ltd. on 26th May 2012 in a damaged condition. I immediately called up customer care no. [protected] and registered a compliant with them the next day (Complaint No. 241501). They arranged a picked up on June 3rd through aramex courier . Since then I have been calling up the call center on a daily basis. It has been close to 4 weeks and I still have not received the replacement .

                                    Request your kind help to get a replacement / refund at the earliest.

                                    I had placed an order with Indiatimes shopping on 23rd May 2012 for purchase of Micromax Funbook tablet (Order No. [protected]). The tablet was recived by me via Bluedart express ltd. (via
                                    AWB No.:[protected] ) on 28th May 2012 in a damaged condition. I immediately called up customer care no. [protected] and registered a compliant with them on same day (Complaint No. 246245). The arranged a picked up on 30th May 2012 through aramex courier AWB No. [protected]. But the vendor refued to accept the courier and the same was returned to me through Aramex Courier AWB - [protected]. Thereafter i again contacted the Customer care and they gave me a new address to send the courier which was again shipped via Aramex Courier AWB [protected] to Times Internet Ltd / A2Z Shopping Limited, Top Floor, 10- Dariya Ganz, New Delhi-110002.

                                    But this vendor also refused to accept the Courier and the same shipment is on hold with Aramex courier. On a daily basis I have been following up with Customer care to get the courier accepted by vendor and a replacement is provided to me at the earliest. But whenever I call up, they always keep telling they are following up with vendor and courier company to get the courier accepted by Vendor and the replacement will be provided as soon as the vendor confirms the receipt of goods and they will update me within 24 hours / 48 hours / 3 working days. But till date I have never recieved a call and only I keep following up with them everytime. When I told them to transfer to call to some next level manager in their call centre, the reply was back we have 1 senior manager in the office and he is busy and hence cannot take the call.

                                    Frustrated with their responses, when I told them to cancel my order, they told that that will happen only once the goods are recieved by the vendor. And I dont know when the vendor is going to accept the goods and either a replacement / refund is given to me.

                                    Request your kind help to get a replacement / refund at the earliest.

                                      I have been a very terneured customers (about 5-6 yrs) of indiatimes shopping had had terrible experience with two of my order which totally ruined by trust in your brand . The service levels of a company are seen in case of issue, where your company is totally irresponsible and unfriendly. I am sorry to use this strong words, but this is something i have to write as things are so bad.

                                      1. order no. [protected] This is regarding an order for "Need for Speed" Game DVD for xbox which was ordered by me on May 31st. The game dvd was delivered to me after 2 week, but was a incorrect product and was for PS2. How can one use ps2 game on xbox ? I called up 3-4 times and wrote 4-5 emails, and always was told that in 48 hrs will revert, like the one below but no order information was reciceved.

                                      2. order no. [protected]: I had ordered a lion king trilogy pack on Jun18th ( amounting 819 Rs) . There was no communication to me on the status of the order, and now i see the order in cancellation status. Dont know if you intent to refund me the amount and notify me about the same.

                                      If the company feels they are even little bit responsible for their actions, kindly get both the above mentioned issues to resolution.

                                        I was using Indiatimes as my email service provider since last 7-8 years. But since last 1 year its service has deteriorated like anything. I find it very difficult to work with indiatimes email service as it has lots of problems which are a serious obstacles for my professional growth and which I have narrated as follows:

                                        1) At times for month together indiatimes email id does not get open and hence I fails to reply to several my clients and professional colleagues.

                                        2) It is not synchronized with Blackberry Mobile due to which it deprives us from our email on mobile facility which is the necessity now a days

                                        3) It has got all sorts of bad and illicit hosting on the page which is not worth for any person of good standard.

                                        4) Its page is always opening with signup facility made disabled so you can't login to your email account and view your emails or even reply to it.

                                        As I have given this email id to all my connected and professional colleagues and clients that now I can not change it otherwise with the problems I am facing I would have changed the my email account to another email service provider like gmail, etc. which is better and faster than indiatimes.
