I placed an order for an Amazon Kindle on February 1st 2011. The order no. for the same is[protected]. I paid Rs.12595 for the order, through the SBI Internet Banking Account of my friend. Next day I got a call from them from the number [protected] for verification purposes. The girl asked me about the payment information and I said I paid from my friends' net banking account. She asked me his phone no. and I gave. After that she called him, but he couldn't receive the call because he was busy and his phone was in silent mode. Again they called him twice in the evening, the same day, but due to some problem he couldn't receive the call. Now instead of waiting and trying to call him next day, they cancelled the order. In my indiatimes account the order status was being shown "Cancelled, sent for refund.". Remark was "Card owner not contactable".
I thought it is fine, they will refund the money back. Next day i.e. on 3rd february in morning around 11:15AM I called customer care and a guy told me that it would take some time for the refund. So the money should be available on the account on Friday or if not Friday then Monday because of Sunday as holiday and Saturday as half day. In the evening, I saw that in my indiatimes account order status was set to "Refunded"But in my friends account the amount wasn't still being reflected.
On 7th i.e. Monday, I called customer care again. A guy whose name was Shakti told me that the money was refunded on the 3rd itself and if it is not showing up on the account then I should attach the copy of bank statement and send a mail to [protected]@indiatimes.co.in I did the same. But it is more than 36 hours and I didn't get any response for them. What should I do??? I am a student and Rs.12595 matter for me a lot at this point of time in life. An hour ago I forwarded the same mail to [protected]@indiatimes.co.in too. Lets see what happens tomorrow.
Finally I got my refund on February 25th after lots of hue and cry.

Although they were very negligent towards my refund, but I used to mail them almost daily and finally on 25th Feb I got the refund.

    Hi,

    I have purchased, Baby Diapers (Pampers) online from "http://shopping.indiatimes.com" Order No.[protected], as per their site details, they claim of delivering the product withing 6 working days from the day the payment verified. My payment verified on 21st JAN 2011 and till date I have not received it.

    When I call customer care, their was no better response and I lodged the Complain on 11th Feb 2011 and it took them more than a day to respond on that. Got a call on 12th Feb 2011, from a complaint department and everyone just tells it would take 3-4 days in delivering the order but no one takes any Action of checking it with the concerned courier and let me know the updates !!! Even there is no contact details provided for the courier service so that atleast I myself could verify ???

    This is going beyond my patience, since the order I placed was really urgent and our family is suffering due to crap service. Contact details - [protected] for customer care.

      Times of India is using illegal method to promote its service Kambola. I am also a victim of their SMS service. These blood suckers will do anything to promote their useless service. I have also tried all the means to stop their unlawful sms. But they won't stop.

        I had sent a message to 58888084 for Kambola. Now i want to unsubscribe from the service.

        I have tried sending kbl stop as well as unsub kbl to 58888084 but it does not unsubscribe from the service. I do not want to receive any more promotional messages.

        I am facing the same issue and I am sure hundreds of other people are facing it too. Indiatimes, please wake up and fix this issue soon.
        This is really a serious issue. Indian times wantedly promoting the messages.Because of this no one will show interest in sending or bidding in future.Everyday 4 to 5 messages are getting in inbox which is of no use.How to fix this issue no one knows. only indiatimes has to do from their side which they are not taking any action. atleast after seeing this people may stop sms'ng to kambola.

            Hi,

            I have purchased a wall clock from Indiatimes online shopping of worth 6000 Rs. But they have delivered a non working wall clock.

            I had purchased the clock online on 30th Dec 2010 but they didnt delivered it to my Pune address instead they delivered it to Bombay address. When i called the Customer Care after that repeatedly calling many times almost 2 weeks finally the delivered a non working wall clock to my address.

            Now i am calling them but they said they will pick it up by Aramex Courier last week but still they havent came to collect the clock,even after calling repeateadly they give some false answer.

            Can any one help what should be done and how to proceed for a complain against Indiatimes.

              I had my domain registered with Indiatimes Domain services. When I gave my domain renewal payment via their official site , I had been asked for 499/ yr which I payed by my credit card for my .co.in domain on 1 Jan 2011. Now after giving multiple emails to their websupport email id , I got no response. Today I finally called their customer service and somebody picked up the phone. He told me that price has increased and thats why domain has not been renewed and this he is telling me after 25 days and his own website is still charging old price till today at 25 Jan 2011. His manager was so unpolite that he asked me to take the refund. Now my domain will get expired and this irresponsible behavior by Indiatimes Domain has caused me this damage.

              Indiatimes Domains service is a fraud. They are doing it openly. They send me wrong email that I held my site with them and by mistake I paid in Jan/2011 and since then I've found that nobody lifts phone or replies email. Just don't buy from them!

                Hello,

                this is in regards to my shopping done at Indiatimes vide order no.[protected]. in this i had received the product after following up 2 -3 times with them. this product was listed at a price of Rs.1358.00 after a discount of Rs.296.00, this product costed Rs.1062.00. but to my surpirse when i got the delivery of this product i found a invoice of Rs.533.00 only. when i raised a question with Indiatime they asked me to scan the copy of the invoice and send it to the customer serivce id, opst that which my complaint will be solved in 2 -3 days. it is 1 week now and have not heard from them. this is a pure case of cheating

                  In December I have purchased a brand new mobile blackberry 8830 from www.Indiatimesshopping.com. They delivered my mobile in one week. When i started using it then its software got corrupted. i submitted my complaint in customer care, they advised me to courier the handset to the given address of the vendor. i did the same. Ten days later i got the mobile again but this time it was any other second hand mobile with the box and the accessories of the previous one. Also its memory card slot and mike was not working. Then i filed a complaint again in customer care, they said that we will arrange the pickup of your freight to the vendor and after that u just update the AWB number in customer care then we will refund your money. But they have not arranged the pickup. Even they have not refunded the charges of courier which i did to their given address. i fed up of dialing the no. of customer care. They just give me a reference no. and say “sir your mobile will be picked up by the courier boy with in 24 or 48 hours.

                  I placed an order with IndiaTimes on March 28. The order was a PS3 game - Top Spin4. The delivery of the product happened on April 4, but the product was defective. Almost immediately, I lodged a complaint at the panel creating a Case (ID - 785941). Then, the harassment started. I asked them for a replacement, but they said that the product would be checked first. They gave me the option of reverse pick up but that never happened. That had me waiting for 3 weeks! Everytime I called, I would get the same response - "Your case is under process and we will send someone for a reverse pickup soon" - that soon never came. Frustrated, I sent the product back to their warehouse. After 5 days, I got the confirmation that it has been received, and as they are out of stock with a replacement, I would get a refund within 5 days. This was April 23, 2013. I waited for 10 days and on May 3, again created a new case (ID - 845600). I tried social media, mail to their operations head, escalation manager, but to no avail. Today is Apr 16. The refund has never happened. I am still waiting. The worst shopping experience I have ever had.

                    I saw advt of Kambola bidding service provided by Indiatimes.com on Zoom Tv. I dialed the number of kambola 58888084 from my mobile to know more about the service. From that very day, I have been automatically subscribed to unsolicited sms service from Kambola. I am getting 2 sms everyday from them which I consider spam.

                    As mentioned on their website, I sent "UNSUB KBL" to 58888084 to unsubscribe. But I got wrong keyword message. Then I sent "KBL STOP" to the same number, but didn't get any reply. After that I sent complaint to [protected]@indiatimes.com on 12th Jan, 2011, even they didn't reply.

                    Still I am getting these useless messages from them. Would Indiatimes stop this unethical way to promote business?
                    I am facing the exact same issue. They haven't fixed any of the 2 ways o[censored]nsubscription from their SMS service. I was looking for a customer care phone number. But, all they have is that 58888084 number which gives IVR options only for bidding.

                    This is totally unethical way of doing business. 10 people might be seriously bidding. But, another 100 if not 1000 are getting spammed with these SMSes.

                    Indiatimes ppl, if you are reading this, please stop this practice right away.

                    Have applied for UNSUBSCRIPTION of SMS service from KAMBOLA of INDIATIMES but Iam still getting messages for bidding which is ridiculous.They do not even have a customer care number.
                    I agree with the Complainant. It is true. Kambola SMS Service 58888084 is fraud and they fraudulently subscribe to mobile once you send a SMS or dial their number.

                    I am also their victim and would like suitable legal action to be taken for fraudulently advertising their services by SMS daily more than 4 times. It is very irritating.

                    They have mentioned on their website, how to unsubscribe but they never unsubscribe.

                    Can anybody suggest how to take them to task?

                        I placed an order for a Nikon Coolpix L22 digital camera and a Prestige fry pan on 29 Oct 2010 through two separate orders,[protected] and[protected] respectively and paid through my credit card.
                        IT Shopping canceled the second order themselves, and delivered a damaged camera on 13 Nov, starting a long period of agony and frustration. Despite several deadlines, the damaged item was picked up only on 30 Nov, and even after continuous follow up at various levels a refund could be obtained only by 24 Dec.
                        I would never recommend Indiatimes shopping for anyone, as their response to the phone calls were very poor, not to mention about the emails. Beware of the site! They are spoiling the name of a reputed publication group.

                              I placed an order on Indiatimes.com on 14th Sept 2010 . My order no is[protected] for the Guide to Health & Medicine+Wonders of Medical Science - 1 Month / 1 Issue with a delivery period of 20 business days . The merchanter is Living Media India Limited (Reader Digest)(45). As per the website the book has been dispatced on 25th Nov 2010, howevr till date ie 30th Dec , I have not received the book. I had lodged the complain wit Indiatimes in the begining of Dec, but nothing has happened. I'm following up on daily basis. My complain no is 578808.

                              Indiatimes — non-receipt of book

                              I had seen one advertisement for one book on economictimes.com " Economic Times in your classroom, how to multiply your money in stock market" . I tried to purchase it and the system opened idiatimes.com. I paid full money in advance through my credit cards and got order id as[protected].Later on I checked it out and found that the item was shipped on 31.03.2010 by Aramax courier. After waiting for 15 days I started calling indiatimes and Aramax again and again and everytime they were assuring that i would receive the shipment within 7 days. Later on they gave me one complain number - 232378 and tole that this time I would definitely achieve the book within 7 days. But alas! I didnot receive anything. Today I called Aramax , they told that problem is with shipper (indiatimes.com) . I again called indiatimes.com they have given me another complain no- 249221. I am really fed up with their system. Kindly help.

                                Even i m hvg problems accessung mail on indiatimes since last 10-5 days. The homepage gets uploaded but when we click on MAIL it goes to - "the internet explorer cannot display the webpage". It opens on google chrome but not on internet explorer.Pls sort this issue at the earliest.

                                  I had ordered (Advanced Slim & Lift Shaper(Size_XL) online from indiatimes shopping online vide order number[protected] on 29 Nov'10. The item was to be delivered to me within 5 working days as per INDIATIMES , however , even till today i,e 14Jan'10 i have not received my order. I have sent a number of mails to the customer care and also made a number of calls but no one has given me a satisfactory reply. On the the net for the last two days it is being shown that the item has been delivered however i have not received it. The customer care is now telling me that in the next 7 days the money will be refunded . This also they are telling on telephone when i rang them up and are not willing to send me any mail to this effect.

                                  I have wasted valuable time waiting for the product as also i have spent money in making calls and sending mails to indiatimes. I should be refunded for the product including courier charges which i have paid to the company and the money spent in making calls and sending emails to the company.

                                        This is regarding order no.[protected] for Sub Order Number : 3521690 for Gillette Mach3 Razor.
                                        I was charged RS 125.00 for the product with free shipping for the product.

                                        I recieved Gillette Mach3 Razor last week but MRP on it was RS 99.

                                        I called Indiatimes shopping customer care @[protected] thrice but everytime agent inform me that they don't deal with pricing issue so asked me write complaint to [protected]@indiatimes.co.in as they can't transfer the call.
                                        I wrote to [protected]@indiatimes.co.in several times but there was no reply from indiatimes.

                                        How come Indiatimes charging more than MRP,it means either they are not aware of their product prices which they are selling or they are increasing their profit margins by charging customer more than MRP,in both the cases this is a crime.
