[Resolved]  Indiatimes Shopping — complaint against product purchased

i purchased e-phone through telli-calling.Reference no is-[protected]. after one and half month charger of mobile became non-operational & touch screen property of mobile starts malfunctioning.wen i contacted customercare they gave me a nonresponsive telephone no[protected] of dealer from where indiatimes ordered product.
my question is, indiatimes takes money from customer, so company should be responsible.this mobile is hardly of worth 5000 for which company charges 10, 000.even then, such a unproffestional & mean response ? if indiatimes continue to market such type o[censored]nbranded product credential of the comany would soon be lost.
we customer hope better service at least from big name.

Indiatimes Shopping — mobile refund

I have ordered Micromax mobile from indiatimes & they have send c112 which differ from features they have updated on their web, then i have done the follow up for reverse pick of same but finally i have to courior them it back, the problem still not finish their vendor now telling that he has not receive the the mobile in the same courior i have sent, where couriour co. has provided me the proof on their receipt that he has sign on that IN GOOD CONDITION.Now indiatimes are not responding in my favour. & denying to refund.

Indiatimes seems to be very charmind but it's just on the web and there is no service at all. Website claims that they deliver the things everywhere in India but later they say it's not in the service region. My question is why the same they can't say in the website itself?
NEVER BUY FROM INDIATIMES

I placed the order through Indiatimes, Even after taking the money, I have not received the item. The item was ordered on 12th Feb, for valentine day, and it is still NOT delivered, after so many follow ups, No update,

SHAME ON YOU INDIATIMES..
AFTER READING ALL THESE COMPAINTS, I SUGGEST THE GENERAL PUBLIC, MAKE YOUR OWN JUDGEMENT BEFORE YOU BUY ANYTHING FROM THOSE CHEATERS..

THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY SENSE OF ETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICE...

SHAME ON THEM, AND I BELIEVE THEY WILL REAP WHAT THEY SOW

Indiatimes Online Shopping Portal — Non delivery of product (or) refund

I ordered a 'Kenstar dry iron Satina' on Feb 01, 2011 and the payment is said to be verified by Indiatimes shopping on the same day. The delivery time they stated for my city is 10 days. I haven't received the product even after 10 days. So on the 12 day, I raised a complaint to them about the non-delivery. They replied that they are having problem with their product dealer (Videocon Industries Ltd) and they are constantly following up with them. They asked me to wait for 48 hours to resolve the complaint. Still after 2 days, I haven't received any response by them. So I contacted them again about it. Still now, I have contacted them thrice and I got the standard customer care reply 'We are having problem with dealer. Please wait for x number of days'. Its been more than a month and I haven't got the product nor I got money refund.

They have kept my money on their side for more than 20 days and gaining interest from it. This is unfair.

Indiatimes Shopping — Money not Refunded

Sir,
I placed two order for an movie on Jan 18,2011 and Jan 15,2011.. The order no. are[protected] and[protected]. I paid Rs.1000 for both the order, through the Punjab National Debit Card . After then,my both the orders was cancelled. In my indiatimes account the order status was being shown "Cancelled, sent for refund.
I thought it is fine, they will refund the money back. After four days I saw that in my indiatimes account order status was set to "Refunded"But in my account the amount wasn't still being reflected.
Then I called Customer Care to enquiry . A lady told me that the money was refunded on the 3rd itself and if it is not showing up on the account then give the reference number to bank I did the same. But it is more than 1 month and I didn't get any response for them. What should I do???
No one get contact me for help.
I really thankful and very happy that my money get me back.
Today (22 Mar, 2011), I got a DD for the refund amount. Also I have received a complementary product (Equity branded Iron box).
Indiatimes is a unprofessional, useless and careless set-up, they dont pay any attention and would suggest pls dont buy anything through them, the products are useless, i bought a blackberry phone and you would laugh at the kind of service/satisfaction i have:
1.they dispatched me a CDMA devise, I had ordered for a GSM one
2. It was locked (verifone wireless) and still is locked as I could not get the vendors' technical person- every time I call them, they promise to call back in 24 hrs but these 24 hrs begins with today.
3.the credit card payment (as per the advert was) in equated monthly installments, while they charged me as a single payment
4.when i wrote them back about the same, there is no response, that means, I can go and do whatever I want (thats the service standard of this company)

Now, if you still are of the opinion that you should buy something through them, forget it...instead go the a retail point and buy once you are satisfied fully with the quality of the product.
Look even the feedback form i filled online is coming back:

Indiatimes Shopping / Blackberry Phone — product not working

I can’t express how disappointed I feel in this business transaction with Indiatimes.
Except such mails , there was no effort from their end to expedite a replacement . Consequently I had to take this handset to mumbai and get a replacement from their vendor after visiting his shop.

and to make matters worse , even the replaced handset has developed a problem leaving me without a mobile /and blackberry service centres in delhi have refused to touch this set claiming it is not sold thru their network.

let me know if indiatimes can help this time or shd put this experience over all customer feedback blogs/sites .

Order no[protected]
Invoice no 1340 dated 17th March 2011
Complaint no 738842 dated 25th March 2011
Product purchased Blackberry Storm 9500

This product was delivered after 2 weeks of my order after persistent calls and reminders.
From the first day the microphone of the handset does not work . Have not been able to check what else is wrong .
Blackberry service centres refuse to touch this product insisting this model was not under their purview in India.
The complaint has been lodged with Indiatimes , but the person was non committal on when this will be replaced .

All in all , an extremely poor experience of shopping from indiatimes.

Could someone responsible revert to me to confirm when I can get a replacement please .

My order of Blackberry was sent to me. To my surprise it was a fake product. Surprisingly every part was of inferior quality and not of Blackberry mobile. The intelligence used to assemble peices was also very poor. The warranty no. scrubbed and removed. Camera not working, the voice is dead. battery is some cheap indian make.
Regular request by mail and or customer care is attempt in futile.
Indiatimes shopping is shocking fraud.
