[Resolved]  Jetlite Ava — making fool of customers by offering cheap products

Hello Sir,

I, along with my family took a jetlite flight frm bangalore to hyderabad yesterday and I was offered 3 scratch cards and suprisingly I won a watch worth around 4000, pearl set worth 2000 and reebok bag worth 1000 accorindgto the details printed on those scratch cards i.e there was a prize on all the three scratch cards. I was excited to claim the gifts after disembarking the flight and I did take it by paying 980 ( 490 for watch and 490 for pearl set, reebok bag looked very cheap and I dont think its original so I didnt opt for it) . When I came home and searched for the brand name of watch in net I could hit only complaints here and brand is no where visible. Jetlite and AVA are selling some nameless products by quoting heavy MRP under the disguise of offering heavey discount.

People are being taken for ride by Jetlite and AVA, I am still puzzled why jetlite needs to do this to spoil their image themselves.

I paid 490 for a watch which is not even worth 300 I guess, this is pure cheating. I have abserver that more or less everybody ahs won and all of them have won only these cheap, brandless and nameless products, I didnt come across anybody who has won either philips, samsung, swatch or other branded stuff. Intrestingly it was written on scratch card that in case the prizes won are from these branded stuff tickets need to be sent to a given address and then the gifts will be sent home.

This itself shows their how they are fooling the customers, jetlite together with Ava is disposing all the cheap stuff, I think such cheap tricks should be put to an end .

Hi Nataraja,

I am in total agreement with you. The cheap products the example of watch ur giving ... when i called up helpline they did not even ask me fr PNR number and other journey details it looks like anyone who has never ever tavelled jetlite can also call n get those cheap brandless products by paying 490 rupees which they name as taxes..

we should procee to AVA n jetlite for a clarification on this and also ...ask jetlite to provide sufficient proof for the cost of products displayed.

Regards,

Vaibhav

Jetlite — They conned me with a fake prize

Hi

I traveled by Jetlite flight, and there was a scratch to win contest. At the Delhi Airport, they asked me to pay Rs.500 to redeem my coupon for a pearl necklace. They did not give me any receipt. After I did that, they gave me a box that was not sealed. I didn't want to open it in the airport and I went home and the box was empty. I have emailed and contacted them but to no avail. Can someone advise?
I am also a victim of Jetlite. I will Never again book a Jetlight flight in future

Hi All,
I completely agree with the above statement, Today my father came from Kolkata to delhi by jet light, he was also offer to scratch a card, in which he won a gift getting an option to redeem between - Louis Wrist Watch T-176 or Classique Pearl Set T-175 -, however demanded for 600 Rs. as Tax before redeeming the voucher, After reading above encounters, I am sure this is a very cheep way to get 600 Rs. from ever passangers pocket.

Please beware of this airline's fraudulent practices !!!

thanx to all those who have raised this issue ...i m having one such scratch card which i got on jetlite flight from cochin to delhi ...i have not yet redeemed my card...

so thanx again for the alertness spread by all of you..
I purchased one watch Paul Phillippe. It appears to be of good quality.
I have a same kind of complaint wd Jetlite this is realy a clear case of cheating they dont hv any right to cheat the customers like this, in future i wl never travell from Jetlite this is confirm, nd these kind of things not expected out of big companies.i ws travelled from jammu to srinagar and back.
I also completely agree with the comments above. while travelling from delhi to cochin on 10th dec09, i also won a paul phillipe wrist watch. while trying to open the strap i found it damaged. while serching for the service centers in my town through net i found there is no such site itself. i am really ashammed to the jet airline services by cheating their passengers.
I have a similar experience and at the moment Jet-lite charging 599 for the same. The original name of the company is Paul Philippe watches and Jet-lite people made fake Paul Phillippe watches. I visited India recently and while travelling from Nagpur to Mumbai this incident happened. This cheap act by Jet-lite spoilers India image.
Dear All, The learning is again same. Never fall for free gifts etc bvecause nothing is free in this world. There is always a hidden agenda. Pls be always careful.

PLS DONT EVER BUY NOR TRAVEL BY this FLIGHT ...
Hi everybody,

The same happened with my husband . He was offered a scratch card which had reedemable gifts - pearl set and paul phillippe wrist watch. I tried to search on net but could not find any such brand. They have completely fooled us as we ended up paying 700 for this watch whose MRP was displayed as 4000/+. Jet lite should be ashamed of its cheap marketing tactics because at the end of the day they are earning nothing but poor brand image for itself. People should raise their voice against such fradulent practices of the company. This is just not acceptable!!
Everybody is just writing their complaints. But can we know who is taking care of these complaints??? Any updates or whatsoever??? I was thinking of redeeming my gift voucher but thank God I came across this site.
Can't we take some legal action? Is there any body where complaint can be sent? Can the moderator HELP?
I am also a victim. Next time I will not fly with Jetlit
Thanks for the heads up. I too got some prize in scratch cards and after reading this, I am dropping the Idea of sending them money.
I am a victim too after paying Rs. 599 for a watch which they said is worth Rs. 4500 along with a jewelry set.

I wanted to present it to my mom and later noticed that the watch they gave can be bought for Rs.60 at Chennai Burma Bazar with smart bargaining. The max the people at the bazar sell is for Rs. 150... But this Naresh Goyal (The man who said he could not see his employees in tears) and his team are bent on fooling people...

Mr. Naresh Goyal if you ever happen to read these complaints just make sure that you are gonna be bankrupt in a short time.

I know you may be laughing it off as something from just another irritated fool.

I believe in a God who is always having an eye over the good people and the bad people.
