[Resolved] Kent RO Purifier — Poor product and after sales service | |||
Sir/ madam, I bought a Kent grand plus mineral RO water purifier in Nadiad, Gujarat from Krishna marketing, Saloon Bazaar (serial no.KR[protected], Invoice no. R-0035) on 22-July 2009, but since installation the machine is not functioning properly. The motor has been changed once and the UV tube has been replaced twice since the day it was purchased. Apart from these major changes, the machine constantly makes an audible humming noise while operating approximately 3 months after purchase. When it did not stop, I contacted the concerned outlet and they sent a local mechanic after a considerable delay, on inspecting he said the motor needs to be replaced by the company without justification. Thereafter, there was no response from the person or even the company after several remainders for about two months. Again in two months, I had the same problem. Now on contacting the concerned service agency, no one turned up to look at it till there was flickering and the UV tube fused. The agency sent the mechanic again after many more reminders. He changed the tube which again started flickering the next day. With lot of phone calls and much effort, someone turned up as service engineer and changed the switch. Then the filter alarm went off for which the concerned mechanic reset it. It has not been 2 months since this event that today again the machine is giving an alarm and no one has turned up as yet from the agency. It has been a year since a new machine was installed and I have suffered so much because of the poor quality of the product and worst post purchase services. Please advice on what action can I take to stop this company from making a fool of the public and troubling me, also can I get my product returned or replaced. Kent Ro Purifier — Problem resolved
Our Kent RO Machine no KR[protected] has been persistently giving problems since the day it was bought Dec'07. In less than 3 years it has called for break down repairs almost 10 times. Most recently on 23rd Nov'10 for water leakage problem. Today night again water filled in the upper compartment, the same complaint for which we have paid Rs each time for 3 times (1200). Is this 'KENT TECHNOLOGY'?? Pl help urgently.
