Dear Sir,

Sub : Defective KENT R-O System.

Please refer my earlier letter dated[protected].

I have purchased one R-O System No. 2639906 from your authorized distributor M/s Galaxy Aqua Care, Udaipur (Rajasthan) vide bill No. 1019 on[protected] copy enclosed).

Sir, After using SIX month your R-O system was not working properly and same was conveyed to Distributor and sometimes your distributor solved my problem. But in August 2008 I was really shocked that I was drinking water with thousands of ANTS.( small insects)with R-O water, Immediately I called to your Distributor and he just stick the brown tape on joints and told us that he has solved the problem. But after few days again same problem occurred and your distributor is unable to solve the serious problem.

Now when I consult my family doctor that I am drinking regularly thousands of ANTS he advised me to check up full body of our all family members and observed that we are suffering from some serious disease and can damage our lungs and kidneys EVEN our lives also.

Further As suggested by your distributors or salesman I have taken AMC in August 2008 for this machine but the problem remains as usual and we are drinking water with ANTS. Earlier I have written in his logbook that thousands of ANTS are coming with purified water. But he is still advising us to again fix the brown or tafflon tape, which now we do not allow him to stick.

Now you are requested to please either change the full R-O system as I and all my family members spent more than Rs.10000 for diagnosis and have lost health and wealth or should I take appropriate action such as Live –Media, Legal, Consumer Court, Religious action as we are JAIN and believes in AHINSA.



Now I request you to take appropriate action against your salesman, Distributor etc for non co-operating with CUSTOMERS like me and replace new machine within SEVEN DAYS otherwise I have no option except to take above action, which I think you will not like.

Further I will not complaint/send copies to the President- Consumer Court, Editor-Rajasthan Patrika and Editor- Denik Bhaskar if my system be replaced with new KENT R-O.with SEVEN days from the receipt of this letter.

An early action is requested.

    This is comapny who cheated me. They change their HELPDESK number everymonth. The day I bought it, number has changed 6 times. Because of this, I couldn't get service and my UV system in purifier got damaged. Though water quality is very good in my area, still it is struggling to work. Call center is really nasty.Never buy this comapny product. I wish if I can find mail ID of HEMA MAILINI to report it as I never got theor Quality Manager number from their helpdesk.

      Dear Sir,

      I am writng it very heavy heart that despite of my number of requests to your dealer Bath Emporium Munish Builders Pathankot (Pb.) to get my water purifiers get service well in time but he is not paying any heed to my requests. This RO gets problem even during warranty period but I am getting satisfy service from aforsaid dealer.Even for paid service he is not botherd despite of numerous reqests. It is for your kind informaion I am your first customer in my town.I hope that approperiate action from your end.

        My Kent Ro Not servis Time To Time
        I have purchased Kent RO system in May-2008 from Jain Electricals, Diwan Khana Market, Jind (Haryana). After 6 months, service man serviced it. After that it was observed that RO gets ON by itself & water starts flowing through drain pipe. It happens several time in a day. I have complained many times but the problem remains the same even after many visits of service man. Please take necessary action to remove the compliant as soon as possible.

        Yes. I too have purchased RO unit two years back. but since then it has hardly worked for two months. Service engineer is not willing to attend the complaint. I dont know why company sells the product if it cant provide service.
        I have signed AMC with M/s Durga Sales, Agra in Dec 2009. Now Durga sales has not picked up any phone. during the visit of his office, it is seems that he ihas shifted some where in Agra or closed his office. Now my Kent RO is totally out of order. I am purchasing the water from market since last 12 days. Please help me. Please take necessary action to remove the compliant as soon as possible.

        Useless products & cheating company

        Flimsy design, poor voltage stabilising power supply, poor control of TDS, Unable to clean the Water reservoir.. I hv purchased Grand+ thinking this as high end product.. but nothing is grand other than issues..

          I HAVE PURCHASED KENT MINRAL RO SYSTEM FROM YOUR AUTHORISED DEALER M M AGENCIES, SIKANDRA ROAD, BANDIKUI, DAUSA, RAJASTHAN 303313.

            I live in Dhakauli Zirakpur where the residential water supply is through bore water and the hardness and TDS levels in water are very high. After a Kent promotion in the area, we decided to buy the softner which they promised will remove all the hardness. I also checked on Kent website and after verfication I purchased KENT Water Softner on 25 November 2008 worth Rs. 49, 000 through local Kent Sales representative Mandeep Singh, (Industrial Area, Chandigarh). Mandeep took Rs. 10, 000 in cash as advance payment 2 weeks before the equipment was delivered to me.

            He provided no receipt for this advance payment and despite of my repeated requests, he did not arrange for a technician's visit at my residence to check whether it was feasible to install the softner and what all preliminary plumbing/electrical arrrangements had to be made for installation of the softner.


            On Nov 25th, the equipment was delivered and a warranty card provided to me. It was installed by a Kent technician from Delhi, Mr Pathak. When i asked the technician about the hardness check in water, he told me that the proof that hardness is now removed from water is that when i wash my hands the water will feel soft. Inspite of my asking for a technical/fool proof evidence ( such as any hardness check meter) he asked me to jus assume that now that the softner has been installed, there will be no hardness in water. He said that the machine will start providing soft water only after 2-3 days of installation.
            Besides, he did not provide any instructions on how to operate this device. He asked us to add 15 kg of desi salt crystals to the softner and that 15 kg of such salt should be added to the softner every 15 days.

            However, on the 3rd day after the salt was added for the first time, we found that there was leakage from the softner and that there was no salt in the machine. We immediatley contacted Mr Pathak and the local distributor - Good Deal Sales ( who had delivered the softner to us) on phone. Pathak in response asked us to add 2 buckets of water to the softner. In the meantime, a person from Good Deal Sales also arrived and he added 4 more buckets in addition.

            The manual on the other hand instructs that at any given time the water level in the container with salt should be 1 inches.

            At the same time, nothing was done about the leakage from the softner. even after several requests Kent is not paying any attention and we are clueless. We have made several calls to Mandeep, Prashant, local distributor but no one is ready to help! i'm really feeling harrassed after buying this ezpensive softner & its not working fine.

            Please help ASAP!

              I bought a RO system of Kent in 2004. Recently I got its membrance changed again. Now, to my surprise, TDS in water has gone down to 5 PPM as against minimum 50 ppm recommended by Kent itself. As a result, we all have been consuming water which is almost devoid of minerals, so vital for the body. On taking up the issue with Kent Office in Noida, the response was that the old RO systems reduce TDS by 90% and during winters as TDS in natural water goes down substaintially, water processed by RO (old system)will have TDS inthe range of 5-10 ppm. Meaning thereby that the users of old RO system will have either go for modification in the system or continue to deprive themselves of vital minerals.
              It was a disgusting response from such a standard company.

              I BUY A KENT GRAND RO & UV FROM TELE PURIFIER SYSTEM BHATINDA LAST YEAR .BEFORE PURCHASE OF IT I WAS OFFERED SO MANY SERVICE PROMISES BUT AFTER ONE YEAR I GOT ONLY SINGLE SERVICE FROM TELE PURIFIER SYSTEM BHATINDA AFTER NUMBER OF VISITS AT THEIR OFFICE AT AJIT ROAD BATHINDA.AFTER THIS BED EXPERIENCE I PERSNALLY ADVICE TO BUY AQUAGUARD FOR THERE BEST SERVICE NETWORK.

                I had purchased Machine No. KA[protected] on 08/09/2007. As the labels on the machine indicate, the sediment filter and activated carbon filter needs to be changed after 1 year. So I duly called the KENT RO office at 26354580/81 both numbers to have a technician sent over to check and replace the filters. After several tries I finally got through and lodged my complaint, only to find that though a complaint number was issued, no technician came in response to the call. This happened a few times and so far I have called and logged my complaint some 5-6 times in the past 1 month. The latest complaint number issued to me was 382 on 14/10/08.
                This is really pathetic after sales service. I truly regret having bought this product and though I am stuck with it now, I will actively discourage others from buying this water purifier. Their rivals offer far superior products and after sales services.
                I hope someone at the company sees this complaint and does something about it, before this appears in a newspaper.

                  I have purchased a KENT RO from Reliance Digital, Ambi Mall, Gurgaon on 20 th Oct 2008.They said that they will despatch and install RO in a day. nobody turned up till 23rd, they have despached instrument on 23rd.After many calls to Relaince service center, one engineer came and declared the insrument as faulty, again i chased reliance and Showroom manager, show room manager stopped taking my calls.One guy from KENT came on 25th, replaced faulty part and went off, again am started calling service center, after 10 calls, one engineer came from Reliance since he was not carrying some part he could not install the RO.Today is 29th, The ro is yet to install.

                  My own experience with Reliance Digital for Kent RO has been similar or still worse. The apathy towards customers and ignoring the genuine requirements by after sales service by Reliance Digital is cent percent correct.

                  I have purchased certain items including Kent W Purifier Grand RO+ vide invoice no SLF02A[protected] dated 06/12/2011 from Oberoi Mall Mumbai,The total invoice is Rs.151268.01.I have been told at the time of purchase that any of the items can be arranged to install any where.Since last one week I am trying to get it installed at my residence at Baroda(gujrat).I must have given phone calls to your toll free no for number of times,Some or the other excuses given by the persons attended my calls, I am really upset with the response and services given by CHROMA for which I had very high values.Since I have purchased the items from Chroma I request to get RO installed at Baroda immediately

                    We had purchased Kent RO on 6/11/2007
                    After every 3 to 4 months water startes overflowing from the container,

                    a complaint is logged and the technician visits and replaces the part, problem resolved at that time.

                    this is the forth time that we have logged the complaint. Ticket No:D89053818

                    Pls look into it as shows the quality of the product.

                      I have been frequently trying to contact Mr Mukesh Jha( Mob No. [protected]) of Model Town New Delhi regarding very frequent leakage of water from the system. This leads to flooding of kitchen and surroundings. I was given to understand that at least for some time I will get good service but it is very unfortunate that on earlier occasion also when I complaint personally it was not attended to except one time that is immediately after the installation for the same complaint. I would request you that if you feel that system cannot be maintained or complaints responded to timely please take the system back. It is just not desireable that I keep closing the tap at various times of the day and unsuccessfuly calling the given number. I hope you would respond and would give us the number of person who is responsive and could attend the calls and would get the complaint attended to on priority.

                      i have purchased KENT mineral RO on 23/05/2008.it has problem from two days . it s not working and a pee sound ocurs .I have informed to Naveen soni (MD) shri bala ji interprises auth. dealer head office:krishna nagar mathura(up)and branch office raman reti marg, vrindavan(up)contect no. are [protected], [protected], about 10s times but still now no one attend this problem .there resonse is not positive. so pl do this needfull otherwise i have to change this ro to another company I have purchased 07 ro in my IOCL township.

                      We have been facing the problem with the machine right from the time we purcahsed it in the month of April 2009.
                      We have called the service department atleat 5 time now for different problems and they have relutantly attended the same and claim that they are there just to provide service and can do anything else of the system and we need to speak to the owners and the manufacturers for the warranty and replacement
                      The attitude of Mr.Gaurav mentioned above has been pathetic and very unprofessional, they are of the opinion that by paying the amount we have not purchased the company and no machine can be without faults, no one gurantee a machine without fault.
                      We need to wait for days for the person to attend the complaints
                      We have also mentioned the dissatifaction in the feedback book carried by the service agents.
                      The last service carried out was today on 9-8-2009.

                      We have repeateldy reminded that this machine is defective and we want to replace the same but the same has been denied by Gaurav.

                      I dont understand that when we pay the total amount as demanded with taxes why dont we get the product what we wish.

                      I got this machine beleiving that it is one of the known brand and should be prefferred over any other but currently i am repenting my decision of the same and request to please replace the same or refund the amount asap.

                      Kindly consider the case and do the needfull asap.

Few days back i had called one of the dealer then he had sent some body to attend the problem... He did not rectify my problem but increased with the UV system. now my UV is not working ... don't know to whome to contact

                        Kent RO (UV) — No post sales services available

                        I unfortunately purchased a Kent RO (UV model) in last week of March 09. It was informed that during next one year 4 free services shall be provided. On completion of 3 months from purchase, I have been contacting sales persons, Kent company and Kent's local representative at Lucknow, but no fruitful response I got till date when 2nd service is about to fall due. I opine that Kent is not at all providing post sales services.

                        I pray Got to bless with patience to those, who want to purchase Kent RO.

                        Hi my name is anurag uramaliya from jaipur. I have purchased kent's RO approx six months back and since then I have only recieved free services call however no executive has ever visited us. I feel as if their service engineers are so untrained as they never take prior appointment of the customer and visit as per their convenience. While asking them tlto visit on saturday since me and my wife both are working and we are only available on saturdays as which is also kent's working day probably their executive's find themselves more engaged on enjoying their weakend. I first demand to extend my free service warranty extention to minimum six more months. Expect quick response. if in case any person in my family fell ill it will be completly Kent's responsibilty

                          Ibought Kent grand mineral r.o. water purifier on 13/11/2007 It was working fine for the last 8 months and now it is not automatically shutting off when the water tank gets full I have been compling and still my problem is not solved the person who serviced last informed me when system is not shoutig off aske me to give a bang near the shout off switch and it will stop and this is only working.This is the state of the product.Now at night I have to shout off the system other wise the in the morning the kitchen will be flooded

                            carbon filter replaced to old is not look like newone.It is not sealed, and looks like used one.But charged 450 rs+150 rs as labour charge.ICR no139 by Sushma Aqua Services, Kukkikatte Udupi.576101.Ph([protected]).By asking they said, Product you are sending without proper packing is it so?                               Hi,
                              I bought Kent Grand product from Siri Technologies (Koramangala). Within a week, it started giving some or the other problem. Siri Technologies has a very very bad service. I had to call them so many times and literally beg them to fix the problem. It is really frustating to go through this kind of situation after spending Rs 14000. Kent should immediately do something about this.

                                Dear Sir,

                                I had purchased KENT Mineral RO water purifier on 24th June 2007. For the first six months there was no schedule maintenance from any Kent service personnel even after repeated reminders on phone. However after six months service engineer Shri. Minto was regular. During May 2008 it was found that quantity of reject water was less and equipment was working for longer duration. Hence RO purifier was switched off. On 1st week of June when service engineer came for rectificatoion it was found that iron remover cartridge has damaged resulting in blockage of water into Sediment filter and active carbon filter.

                                Matter was also informed on phone[protected] and to Shri Sarat ph no. [protected] . On June 22nd service engineer had removed iron remover cartridge and supply was bypasssed to sediment filter. which was also having content of blackish material present in iron remover cartridge.

                                It is suspected that whole RO purifier is damaged and hence may be replaced as it was within one Year warranty.

                                  I bought a kent water purifier which shows a price tag of 5990 rupees when i actually went to pay money for that prouct. they came up to me an say that price tag is wrong and now they charged me 6500 rupees. but the price tag which is attached near the product clearly shows 5990 rupees. then the sales guy there has taken out the price tag existing there and started claiming that actual price is 6500. this`incident happened in jayanagar 9th block, BigBazaar. This is not first time it happened to me in bigbazaar. everytime i face one or other problem. sometimes they dont deliver product on time. they took around 3 weeks to deliver and fix my cots. they say that they will fix next day at the time of payment. but after that we haveto keep on calling them to get product delivered. sometimes they keep us on hold for longtime on phone. i think i wasted lot of time and money calling customer service for product to be delivered. I have not seen such a bad customer service in my entire life.

                                  Big Bazaar (Complaint) — Price Difference on Tag for product (Big Baazar)

                                  I've not seen this type of bad service in my life time. I bought refriderator and food processor in Chennai big bazzar and paid through credit card on 3rd Jan 2009. For the above purchases, i can be eligible to get gift as basic model koryo micro oven. They delivered food processor only on 23rd Jan 2009 after telephone call of 10 times and refrdigerator only on 26th jan 2009. Still they have not delivered the micro oven . When i went there they said at present it is out of stock and pay Rs.1000/- addition and take another model of koryo oven and it would be delivered in very next day i.e. on 29the Jan 2009. So far it has not been delivered.

                                    Last year on 31.07.07 we have purchased a kent ro system from company directly thru sales executive Mr. Ashok. From the date of purchase we are facving regular problem of water filter jamm. But on last complaint - KENT ro executives are not responding & we are not able to use our ro system because of filter problem.
                                    So please look into this matter...

                                    Never ever think of buying a Kent RO System. The company has a totally non existent after sales service support. I bought one Kent RO Systems more than one year back on the promise of hassle free maintenance free with all parts covered. They also promised that every three months the systems will be checked but as is with all no one turned up so far.

To date ie. 22/4/09 he has not made any attempt to call on my son to complete the job he promised to do within 2 days. I wonder why the company makes so many false promises at the time of purchase but fails to live upto them and do they employ such incompetent technicians to fit the same who are not able to fit the said filter at the first attempt.

The product is not good and its maintenance is really very sorry to say is very poor.                                       Dear Sir,
                                      I have purchased an UV water purifier from local market on Jan. 2008 and get installed it. This product was sold by a local vender MANIK BROTHERS, Station Road, BANDA (U.P.). The installation charges were asked from me Rs. 250/-, but after making discussions I paid Rs. 100/- for making 2 holes in the wall and fitting a socket to my existing water pipe fittings. This was not brought to my notice that I have to pay installation charges also at the time of purchasing the product. Whether it is right or wrong? If installation charges are needed and mandatory to pay, your local vendor must say it at the time of selling the product.

                                      The box which contains the UV purifier system does not carry installation manual, operation manual and guarantee/warranty card. I asked the same, he told that AAPKO KYA AWASHYAKATA HAI? HUM TO HAIN. I am also confident that the Machine No. sticker pasted on box and actual machine no. (pasted on the back of purifier) also differs, Now time I do not have the machine, as the machine is on the table of vendor.

                                      This product stopped proper functioning on 15th March 2008, and I lodged the complaint with the vendor, and the person in the shop of vendor is not interested in listening my complaint. Lastly, yesterday, I pick the product, put the same on the table of vendor, then the person told me that he will do something by tomarrow morning.

                                      Say me whether you have given any training to the staff of vendor to remove the problem, whether his staff is technically sound and approved by your technical team to use screw driver, plier and broke/cut wiring and replace the spares? Have you given any spare parts to this particular vendor as his person opened the entire product on his working table where he repairs electronic items and use solding iron, paste and one noticeable thing is this that dust which comes out from TV and Radio occupies the entire area. He assures me very confidently that KAL TAK TUMHARA UV EKDAM THIK HO JAYEGA. I ask you that, “It is right way to provide services to defective component of this product which directly concerns with human health.” Say me, whether you will get repaired you UV purifier in such in-hygenic conditions? My mind is in chaos, whether his premises is bacteria free where he opened the product, UV Lamp chamber and other components of the purifier. This product is directly related with Health of human being. Hope, it is not allowed by you by all means. I think that I have to deny to get this particular product back. My denial will start a litigation, and lastly I have to surrender as my money is clogged in purifier. And you are liable for entire situation .
                                      Entirely I am not satisfied with the dealing and services provided to me by the vendor. Please look into the matter very very seriously and furnish the under mentioned points :
                                      1. Please say me the address of your local dealer/distributor at BANDA (U.P.) who is authorized by you to deal with service and repairs also.
                                      2. Please say me to whom I have to lodge the complaint in all.
                                      3. If Manik Brothers do not have service rights, how they are allowed to open the product for repair?
                                      4. Whether you had issued instructions to your local vendors that how to deal with defective machines? Are they allowed to open and change the components at their in-hygenic premises?
                                      5. This purifier (UV) does not removes scaling of water, whether it is working properly? The local dealer says that it is working properly, but I am not satisfied.
                                      6. I hope that your technical expert person must visit my place and find out which type of water purifier I need, then after it should be installed in my premises. Can I keep trust in you?
                                      7. Please ask the local vendor MANIK BROTHERS to give me Warranty / Guarantee Cards, Operation Manual and other needed documents.
                                      8. If the UV purifier does not fits to my need (i.e. not removes scaling from water), may I allowed to get it changed with some advanced one? If yes, then please say me the name of person and contact number.
                                      9. For last 15 days, I and my family using the water after boiling it. Whether you feel that it is good to the reputation of KENT?
                                      10. The unskilled person at the shop of vendor opened my UV water purifier system, please suggest me whether I should accept it or not, if not, then what should I do with this one? As the vendor will not accept his mistake and compels me to keep the existing one. Lastly, the only way for me is to go to the consumer forum and ask you people also there. This will only happens due to negligence of you local vendor.

                                      Lastly suggest me, how I have to deal with the situation? All this hampers the reputation of your after sale services. MUJHE BHI AB LAG RAHA HAI KI KAHIN MAINE GALATI TO NAHI KAR DI KENT KHARIDKAR?

                                      Hope you will do the needful very soon and I still keep trust in you and your products. Ultimately you will not disappoint me. Your early reply will give solace to me.

                                        Sir, I bought a Kent RO purifier in Chennai in Sep 2006, But on instalation the TDS was high, I was advised that it will take some time to settle down to desired values, even after 3 months when it did not, then I contacted the concerned outlet they send a mechanic after a considerable delay, on inspecting he said I shall do something in the next visit. Thereafter there was no response from the person or even the company even after several remainders, about two months from this I got hold of a number of there India level Mkt manager in Delhi, Mr Manish Lamba, initially he was very helpful but the people in Chennai responded very negatively and after long calls and delay, another two months they changed the RO membrane, without justification. The reason given was that the inlet water temperature is high therefore this problem, but this was not told or is written any where in any manual and also the temperature of water during Summers in India is bound to be high, this should have been told during Demo and SALE. By the way, as per the new instructions we stopped using this filter by day and resorted to save and fill water only by night. But sure enough again in two months I had the same problem, now on contacting the concerened service agency said we are not servicing your product, sorry. Once again on contacting Delhi, some one came over but really showed no interset, here onwards even Mr Lamba has stopped accepting my calls. With lot of running around I have managed to get the set serviced from the company people how have charged me Rs2750/- and changed virtually every filter but again have said that we are not going to guarantee any time and the TDS is still not less than 60ppm.                                         eureka forbes RO water purification plant — Misleading by the agent /dealer

                                        I had purchased a Reverse osmosis water purification plant of make Eureka Forbes especially from Faridabad for Rs 14000/- in the year2007 thinking it to be of good make although other makes like Kent were also available so that there will be no maint problems later on due to good services provided post purchasing the product.But now the agent time and again asks me to change the parts like complete candle, filter and such parts and asks for Rs3600/- to be paid to him which the catalogue does not recommend to be changed.I have asked the agent to explain with the catalogue which he always avoids.At the time of installation also he did not encourage reading the catalogue before signing and was interested in getting his money by shorcut .The name of company is being spoiled by such agents .Can you guide how to get the correct advice from your main office as the complete staff does not seem to respond in the office located in Faridabad.
                                        i have purchased kent ro just 20 days back and the same is not working at all, inspite of numerous complaints no action has been taken by anybody.no one should buy this product at all, i am going to lodge consumer court case and criminal case against the dealer and company.

                                        i have purchased ro water purifier, at the time of installation they said there will be service every six months, they gave me phone num to call but it turned out to be fake and when i called customer care they gave me the complaint id rv 2101, after that they called and asked my model number and thats itr they never called back r came to service, water is getting dirty day by day wht can i do please tell me dont know how much have to spend on chnaging of filter
                                        The service of Kent Company is very poor. this is agreeable to all. Inspite of Installation, service representative do not turn up for agreed service conditions. Also inspite of assurance for cover for the machine, they do not provide the same.

ITS BEEN A OVER A MONTH NOW AND AFTER REPEATED CALLS I AM STILL WAITING FOR THEIR REPRESENTATIVE. I REALLY FEEL SORRY NOW TO HAVE PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT.

                                        I bought Kent RO in Januray 2009 which was installed after considerable delay and then suddenly one day the filter cover blasted and water started flowing from top...After lodging the complaint immediately, the service guy came after 4-5 days and was totally incompetent...he couldn't even tell the probable reasons, he promised to come next day to replace the thing...the next day he came and installed a very old filter cover which was looking very dirty and ugly looking...when I complained about the same, they promised to replace this as soon as the new stock comes in...Its more than a month passed since and I am still awaiting for the complaint to get resolved...Very poor services for such an expensive product...Can any of you please suggest, how to get it resolved...I am thinking of taking the consumer court rout...pls suggest

                                        I have purchased Kent R.O. water purifier from Big Bazar, Mysore during the month of October 2008. After several call, the purifier installed in the month of November 2008. With in a week of installation, we found water leakage through the tank and same is complained to Big Bazar for rectification. The service personnel came after 4 to 5 days and was totally incompetent and the problem was not solved. After One month with several calls to Big Bazar and local distributor, service guy came and replaced the defective Float and leak was arrested. During the month of March -09, we complained several times by phone to Big Bazar regarding the process of purification takes four to five hours as against 40 minutes as per the company.
                                        But till date no body ( Big Bazar / Kent Distributor) taking interest to resolve the issue.when I complained, intially Big Bazar people promised to replace the defective unit but they failed to their promise.It seems, they are purposefully postponing the issue untill the warranty class is expires.
                                        Please note that, as per the distributor, Big Bazar, Mysore unit is not authorised to sell the Kent Product in their outlet. Hence the local distributor is not showing interest to this issues.
                                        Its more than five months passed since and I am still awaiting for the complaint to get resolved.I am very sorry to comment that very poor services for such an expensive product.Can any of you please suggest, how to get it resolved.I am thinking of taking issue to the consumer court. Please suggest immediately.

                                        Kent Ro Water Purifier — worst service & a poor product

                                        This is the worst company & the worst product i have ever happened to come across. The service is so poor that even after calling for several number of times there is no proper response..infact most of the time no one attends to the call. The mechanics are so bad that they dont even no the basic functioning of the filter.I bought the filter a year back at the price of Rs14000/- & have spent almost Rs5000/- for its maintenance. The motor is so weak that every 3 months it requires a placement. Water leaks every now and then from the outlet also the filter provides very hot water. I tried approaching the store many times but there is no response from them looks like they are not interested about the customer satisfaction and focus only on their sales. I would advise people not to go for this product (Kent RO Filter) as it is no value to the money.I am planning to move to the consumer court.                                         We had purchased a kent water purifier. It again and again gives fault o[censored]v lamp and every timer price of the parts of Rs 500/- plus visit charges have to be paid to the person of Kent. Less than 3 years have elapsed and the item has to be replaces thrice. Reply from the person is not very encouraging. Definitely the product is lacking in some technology. We have fallen prey to the mercy of company. KIndly let me know what to do.

                                        Totally agree on the poor product quality and the horrible service provide by Kent RO. My kent RO is just 9 months old and it has already broken 3 times. The current state is also broken and the Kent service refuses to fix it without charging me!!! I am currently borrowing water from the neighbors. Today I have raised it with Mr Manish Lamba and am waiting to see which way this goes. If nothing else works I will have to take the course of the Cunsumer redressal forum.
                                        We purchased Kent Ro plant in 8/7/2008. Along with is also provided an external filter as an extra precaution.

                                        We have changed the filter twice and the activated carbon filter once. A advised by your agent Maruthi Circuits – as the water was giving bad smell.

                                        Since Maruthi is no longer active we got the one number from your Chennai branch and a service person came and inspected the unit.

                                        He informs us that the two filters, activated carbon filter and the RO element has to be changed. The cost would come to about Rs 4000/-

                                        He also informed that the external filter cartridge must be replaced every month, the internal filter and activated carbon unit must be changed every 2 months and the RO element every year.

                                        Which means a minimum recurring expenditure of Rs[protected] per year.

                                        In addition to the hassles of getting service for the unit. It normally takes 3-7 days and 6-10 calls before a service person turns up.

                                        This was not the understanding that was given to us when we purchased the unit.

                                        A simple calculation will tell you that it is very much cheaper to bulk purchase water than purchase KENT RO.

                                        What it means is that a Rs 15000 unit has a max life 2 ½ years.

                                        Why not call it a throw away hassle free water purifier?

                                        Throw it away after getting 12000 liters of water.

                                        If my facts and thinking is wrong please ask you branch office in Chennai to clarify.

                                        Kent RO is a fraud company. I brought kent ro from a fraud company called GOOD MINERAL RO(Bangalore). They gave me duplicate candles. BEWARE of this fraud company. My kent purifier is lying as a show piece without any use. This Madhu from GOOD MINERAL RO is a fraud salesman. I am going to take legal action against GOOD MINERAL RO.
                                        That is right. GOOD Mineral is a fraud company (sub dealer is RV minerals), in Bangalore! They are dealers of Kent. We purchased brand new model Grand+ and since installation, it started giving beep sound, indicating faulty or old filters. With a month, repairs were carried out 4 times, with no rectification.Moreever, a yellow deposit used to come in bottom of bottle on storing water 2 days. Problem is Kent has outsourced its service as well, so the service will be given by your incompetent dealer and not Kent company. My repeated calls to Kent cust care Bangalore (mgr head: Sangam) produces zero response and they kept directed us back to dealer. Calling head office Noida (consumer head mr. vikrant) again kept redirecting us back to Bangalore. This nonsense continued, with nobody ready to take action.Sangam from Bangalore office is completely irresponsible and says kent does not take any responsibility for Kent products sold thru dealers!!!
                                        Finally yesterday the dealer took us the machine back, and handed me Rs. 2k less than what I bought for. Initially he had agreed to refund back full amt. Why would I be going for a loss, with no water and going thru trouble for 1 whole month? I still have a mind to goto consumer court for this fraud company Kent cheating customers and not even able to provide safe water, leave alone rectification and service!

I HAD PURCHASED RO COMPUTERISED CONTROLLED ON IN THE MONTH OF OCTOBER 2009 FROM PANJAM ELECTRONICS VIRAR WHICH IS BEEN CLOSED NOW MY APPLIANCE HAS BEEN DELIVERED DEFECTIVE. INSPITE OF REGULAR COMPLAINTS THE MACHINE WAS NOT CHANGED AND TILL DATE THE PROBLEM REMAINS THE SAME
                                        It is very true that the Kent agencies won't take any action to get the equipments repaired/serviced in time and the company buggers also never bother to look into the difficulties of the customers. They give wide publicity in the media about their product with so many facilities for the customers but all these are baseless/useless. Don't believe them and don't go for it any more.
                                        Pl do not buy any Kent product. The service is really bad and they do not even pick your calls. I have requested for simple installation of Kent but even after 10 days no body has turned up so far. Call center people speaks repeatedly same language with no solution. Some how got number of Mr. Bhardwaj service incharge of Gurgaon, but this guy never picks up the phone. So as of now there is no solution to my problem. Eureka forbes is miles ahead of Kent in terms of quality products and services.

                                        as i have read your complaint thoroughly, now don't make call to them neither company nor servicing agents.contact your lawyer imediately show the bill of purchase and sue the company in consumer court and other court with immediate effect.u will get comapnasation for harrasment and they will be adviced for refund or new machine replacement.

                                        This is regarding my new Kent purifier, we bought it in the month of march 2010 and from past few days the water outlet has completely stopped and even if it flows out there is too much of impurity in the form of dust and dirt.
                                        We have informed the Kent customer service guys and the agent who sold it to us. But its ridiculous to hear them demand service charge evn though its just 6months that we bought it.

                                        I purchased one Kent Grand+ Mineral RO from KITCHEN CARE Kishan Nagar, Lower Mall, Patiala vide their retail invoice no. 628 on dated 26/06/2010. Serial No. of this product is KR[protected]. I am facing problem since the installation of this product. This RO never run properly continouesly for more than 2 months. The service provided by KITCHEN CARE is also badly poor. There is no one to listen the complaints of customers. As usual this product again stopped to deliver water 11th of May, 2011. On 13th May (Friday) I made complaint to Kitchen Care about the non functioing of the RO, but no body even visited the site, after making continousely calls on 14th, 16th & 17th May, one service boy visited my house and told that some of its parts has been dead and he brought this parts with him and said that he will install the new day after tommorrow i.e. 19th May. But till in the evening of 20th May no service boy came at my home to get my RO okayed. As your product is not working properly since the installation date, you are requested to get it replaced immediately otherwise I will go to the consumer court for providing me third class poor quality product. Besides this the service provided by the seller is also very poor. You are further requested to send technically expert service provider to check why this product is not working since the installation. Hope for early response. My mobile no. is [protected].

                                        I agree with al the service complaints on Kent RO. This is a toally unprofessional and unethical company. I first purchased the kent RO wall mount model in 2006. It worked well. Then I bought two 'below counter' models in 2008. After just one month, the water started stinking. Repeated complaints elicited no positive response. In the last three years I have changed the tank, all filters four or five times. The UV lamp and RO membrane once. Installed additional filter. Still the unit does not work more than two weeks continuously. It will develop some problem or the other.

                                        The inlet water is metro water, supplied in Abhiramapuram. its pretty clean - not much chlorine. Most people drink it directly and use it for cooking. Till now I have not checked the TDS level.

                                        I am apalled that the company is founded and run by an ExIIT chap. I will actively recommend that nobody purchase Kent RO product in India. Thier product is badly designed, service network is bad. Service attitude is arrogant and unresponsive. I do not see this company surviving for long.

                                        Marathalli Mineral Waters Vignan Nagar, Bangalore --- Not obliging the 6 months replacement guarantee promised for RO filter

                                        I have replaced the faulty RO filter around 5 months back and the sales person from Marathahalli Minerals informed that there is a 6 month replacement guarantee on RO filter/other parts and given me a bill for Rs 2000.

                                        Since its not working now, I have called them today but their Manager is telling that there is no guarantee offered for any kent spares and asking for a written guarantee card. Since they have not given any guarantee card to me, i am stuck at this point. Please be careful when you replace the Kent spare parts. Ask for a Guarantee card for each of the spares you replace. The cash bill wont be useful at all in a later stage. During the time of sales/installation they will tell you that the cash bill is enough for the warranty, but its not the case later when you have a problem.

                                        Please try to avoid Marathalli Minerals Bangalore (Vignan nagar brach) as the after sales service is pathetic and they are very arrogant when you ask for replacement during guarnatee period.
                                        This is to inform you all, that there is no warranty coverage for the components replaced after one year of purchase, and if it has to be covered, the user has to take an AMC for next one year, there is no meaning if the user insists without an AMC.If the company prints in the component that it is covered for one year warranty then we shall provide the same.

                                        so lets not take this complaint seriously, because it is meaning less, and this is not fair on a user to complain in this manner and degrade the company's Image.

                                        Dear Ms . Ive purchased a Kent Grand plus from Kitchen Decor 195 block j New Alipore, kolkata 700053 on 14 May 11. The machine seems to be faulty and has already been repaired once. Like last time it takes 2-3 days to register a complain and rectify the machine. this time it is non functional from 25June 11. I could register a complain only on 27 June being Monday. The complain no given to me was2567. No rep of your company turned up and the reply I was given fromthe authorised service station( tele no [protected]) was that they are trying to sernd someone over. Im amazed. Dont you have any time bound policy of repair within 24hrs?? Eureka Forbes does such repair within Hours not days. This does not earn you any good repute in the market. Ill certainly approach the consumer court and put it in leading daily newspapers if my grievance is not addreded.

                                        I dont understand how kent is getting so many awards, definitely they are paying and getting them. All the customers are fed up, so many complaints online, I compared it with other purifiers, maximum complaints are against kent only. And still people are buying. Whosoever is reading these reviews, please dont buy kent as their services and product are more troublesome from the description given here...

                                        With deep anguish and regrets I am forced to bring the following to your notice for remedy and replacement of the above system not functioning after usage of roughly about 150 days.I confess I was fooled by the advertisement and marketing technique of your company through the media viz. TV and newspaper, which made me rush up to buy your water purification system.The following are the facts of the case.I purchased the above KENT RO system in the first week of May 2011 which was installed on 17/05/2011 i.e. after the lapse of 10 days.After usage over 2 months a noise was heard continuously when the system was on which fact I brought to the notice of your Cheenai office at Anna Road, Kasablancha Building.No attention was paid by anybody right from the dealer to the regional office, however after the lapse of 11 months i.e. within the warranty period the service agent of your brand whose office was beyond the city limits situated at a distance of 30 kms in Tambaram (VGM Enterprises Tambaram, Chennai-45) sent his mechanic who collected Rs 1200/- stating the sediments carbon etc were attended too besides service charges, which is a fraud perpetrated on me when there is warranty period sustaining.When I protested this type of attitude by the service agent to your Chennai branch office they promised to arrange the refund as no amount was to be collected by them.Till date I have not received the refund even though 18 months have passed.


                                        In spite of the above service the noise problem rose to very high decibels when the system was switched on, which forced me to approach your regional office at Chennai who promised to attend by sending a knowledgeable person.This did not happen.There was no response from your branch office in spite of my personal visits and telephone calls.A couple of months back I was given to understand that a new service manager had taken over and my problem would be solved.Thereafter in the first week of October 2012 a mechanic had come who examined the machine and confirmed that the machine was faulty and advised that the earlier service done by VGM was not proper.He suggested that either the machine be replaced or parts like carbon, membrane, motor and Outer layer should be replaced which would cost Rs 10000/- besides service charges.I was shell shocked when he also confessed that the KENT RO system was faulty and the only alternative was to go for a new purifier.It appears from his statement that the life of this KENT RO is only 1 year.At this juncture please note that the date of installation was 17/05/2011 and the system was used only for limited purpose and for a short duration only as we were all away at Delhi.I regret at this old age(I am 77 years old) I am made to run between the dealer, service agent and the company.The service agent suggested that I call him if and when I get ready with Rs 10000/- towards the expenses.


                                        I came to realize that the advertisements only take people for a ride and persons like me get carried away by pompous and glorious advertisements when the substance material is pushed back to zero value.I have already spent Rs 5000/- on this issue i.e. Rs 1200/- for service charges besides telephone calls and transportation to your office and dealer.The instrument is kept back in the package ready to be returned.


                                        Concluding I request you that the machine be replaced failing which I will be forced to resort to legal action besides approaching the appropriate consumer forum.I am endorsing a copy of this mail to the media with a request to withdraw the portrayal of your product which is devoid of facts.Please acknowledge taking remedial action immediately.

                                        I purchased Kent water purifier in December 2011 and at the time of purchase it was informed that the complaints are addressed within 24 hrs. I want to share with the people who might be considering installing Kent water purification system:
                                        1. The service department has informed that 24 hrs means 24 working hours that translates into three working days and there is possibility that the service may not be provided even after three days.
                                        2. The complaint cannot be registered on Sundays and after 5.30PM. This company does not appear to consider water an essential item, otherwise no company can ever consider putting in place such a unacceptable and consumer distrssing policy in place.
                                        3. The service area managers also do not appear to have any concern for consumer complaints at least this is completely true for Dwarka area in Delhi. Mr Bhardwaj responsible for providing service in the Dwarka area which has hard water and some RO system is necessity for the residents is casusal to the extent that he doesn't bother to pick up phone even. Even for AMC, they show a lot of hesitation. My wife has been trying for the last threedays but no body from the company bothered to report though a commitment was made by Mr Bhardwaj to send the boy on 13th December itself.
                                        My only suggestion, you must satisfy regarding service commitment before buying any water purification system because it's very difficult to survive without water even for a day and if the policy of the company is three working days and at that when the company does not have any policy to attend to urgent situations.

                                        I am also a user of kent ro in mumbai since 2005 earlier i was using kent grand recently i have bought kent supreme for my new apartment over these years i hardly faced any issue with my product.though there are cheaper products available in the market but i guess when it comes to health money does not matter the spare parts are bit expensive but reliable at least you are sure you are getting good quality of drinking water

                                        I bought it in June, suddenly it stopped working so I called customer service on 19th November and the first technician visited 21st and no help, second came on 23rd again no help.A technician with no knowledge at all. I called up customer service again on 24th and spoke to the floor Manager Mr Pathak and who assured me within 24hrs the problem will be fixed but no help even after 24 working hours. Again today on 26th I called up the customer service, same robotic response but no help. I AM FRUSTES TO THE CORE. One of the worst post sales service. My number is [protected].

                                        I had bought Water Mini Softener which was installed 4 days back on 5th March vide serial no.KS[protected], Invoice no.571-2546.
                                        Mohan Coop Estate Sr.Branch Manager Mr.SH Jafri visited a day before and He was been told the condition of water in Our area and upon checking technicalities He assured about quality and product installation.Next day when Another Gentleman came, I was still unsure.Jafri called Me again and told not to worrry.In fact first day sone of His apparatus instrument wasnt working too.
                                        Now since yesterday within 3 days, When I called up customer care One Guy came and told that We have been wrongly sold because this softener wont work with such water TDH.We are in a total fix and its a breach of Trust.I too work in service Industry and know how serious and grave My concern is.We know Our rights as an aware Citizen and My Husband us a RTI Activist too.We guide the Citizebs and Netizens over important social issues which Our Country is passing through and We dont say anything without a reason and dont complain unneccessarily.
                                        I now humbly request to refund My entire amount by Tuesday else I'd be forced to approach the Consumer Court and take this as a breach of Consumer right.
