kent ro after sales serviceis very poor. even after giving them the amc contract they are not coming for servicing the water purifier. my complain no with them is[protected]. even after repeated calls to their customer service for last 15 days but with no response from them.

I am calling your customer care no. 39404040 from past three days, every time i call up they just ask me to wait and when i requested them to connect me to the senior executive they hangd up my phone thrice.
I once again request u to help me out. i hope u wont force me to knock the doors of consumer court for this.

    I purchase Kent RO on 9.7.10. The engineer has fixed the RO and fixed TDS as 10 and broken the knob of the RO and told my wife the TDS is fixed as 50. After 4 days, I called the enigneer and check the TDS, he has told that your TDS is 10 and the water is not usable. The water is use for injection only. I am using the water for the last 4 days. I am surpirised how Kent Co. recruited the unqualified engineer. Pl. advise what can I do? I spent Rs. 15250/- for healthy and better drinkable water but I am using injection water.

    I have two email to Chairman, Kent, but no reply.

      Dear Sirs,
      I had purchased the latest model of KENT RO System on 16tyh Jume 2009. The appliance stopped working on 9th July 2010 and I lodged a compaint with their customer care on[protected] which was accessed with great difficulty at 9.15 A M on 10th July 2010. The complaint No given was 445857. When I again tried to enquire on the visit of their technician I was informed that I should be prepared to pay Rs 300 for visiting chargs to which I readily agreed. Even after this no body turned up. Now I am told that unless I opt for an AMC the visit would be further delayed. This is completely unethical but I seem to have no recourse

      Kent Water Purifiers RO — Poor after Sales Service

      Poor service, inefficient Technical Person, unnecessary huge charges of Product servicing and Company has no focus on customer satisfaction.

      i purches kent water purifier in last from pune year, it has too much maintenance time to time, After lodging complaint there is no responce from the service dept.I had also done AMC for the same but nobody take any responsibility about servicing, I suggest to customer dont purches this product.as i thrown away the product and purches Aqua guard product.

        Hello

        People be aware and better to avoid purchase of any product from Kent.

        I tried to request for the Kent water Purifier to be serviced (post warranty) - called up various numbers each giving another number for service. Sent Emails, Submitted request on their website.

        For two months there has been no response. I called up their number (printed on equipment)
        After waiting for 30 minutes of call forward from one person to another and finally reached Service Manager
        Mr. Praful.

        Instead of sorting out or providing me any contact number he said I should approach the Distributor - only distributor can provide support. I told him that after I had purchased there has been quite a few distributor changes and every one I had called gave one number[protected] for support which when called gives another number[protected] for support. which has not responded in past two weeks.
        He said he can not help - service is responsibility of distributor.

        When I said it is manufacturer who is responsible for support and not the distributor - and if this is the response from kent then it is better that kent is taken to court for lack of support.

        His response astonished me. He said he does not know why some one has not taken kent to court and I should take kent to court.

        If some one wants voice recording of communication - one can get in touch with me.

        SINCERE ADVISE TO PEOPLE - DO NOT BUY OR RECOMMEND OR PROMOTE OR SELL KENT WATER PURIFIERS.
        Do not let people like Mr. Praful Service Head of kent treat you like you are criminal.

        Management of Kent is also advised to be prepared of in-efficient staff and or wrong policies.
        I doubt a senior staff can make such statements without support and guidelines of management.

          We have purchased one Kent Water Purifier Model Elite I from M/s Navin Contractors, 11-A Kannika Complex, Dindugal Road, Karumandapam, Trichy 620 001 during December 2009 for our company namely M/s Southern Energy Development Corporation Limited. It was promised at the time of purchase that it carries one year warranty alongwith three free after sale service.
          After the installation and getting the payment from us no service has been done. We have booked for free service and contacting them regularly for doing this service. As there is no response from them we are forced to book the complaint. In our opinion after sales service is very very poor.
          We are belonging to Murugappa Group Company and we can very well sent a note to our group companies not to buy KENT IN RO in any of our Group Companies. This is for your info. and doing the needful.

            The Kent RO authorised service provider Axis Exim Pvt. Ltd. service person do not turn up for timely service & the servicing provided by him is also not satisfactory.
            Moreover,he does not adhere to the prescribed service guidelines,rules & regulations as per the service contract.He does not address customer queries,feedback & suggestions.

            Request for change in service person & compensation for any damage done by to the machine due to improper ,untimely & callous servicing.

              Not providing after sale servces(Even my machine is not on)

              Dear Sir,

              I have bought a new KENT RO(Grand +) computer controlled water purifier system. At the time of purchasing the product I was informed by their executive (mr anil & atul shrivastav) about the after sale services provided by the company and krish enterprises(dealer of kent ro system)

              As per the terms and condition I should have provided with four services in a first year , but unfortunately I was not been facilitated till date.i have bought this machine on 26/6/2010 from krish enterprises.
              day before yesterday my kent machine didnt start and my whole family were without pure water.i have called number of times to anil and mr atul shrivastav..after two days i am not even serviced and they are saying we are running short of staff so when we will have manpower we will give start your machine.

              I was asked and lodge my complaints regularly to the concern person(mr. anil & atul shrivastav)they both has sold me the machine and made no of false commitment to me, but there had been no response at all.

              The above state that company is quite irresponsible against after sale services and not even heard from customer problems.

              kent water purifiers — Very Poor After Sales Service

              We had purchased a KENT Pride in March 2010 with order No.[protected] and the same adviced by the Sales agent at that time stating that this is the best model though a little old though a new version has already come up.

              We had purchased this model as my brother is ill and is furing with jaundice.

              We on trust had brought this model but the same has started giving problems now.In the beggining itself the machine used to make a certain noise and when we called the sales guy he can and checked but the noise still persists.

              Also, yesterday the machine stoped functioning. We again called the service rep twice but he stated that everything is fine and checked certain things.It is when i shook the outlet pipe the system started to work.

              Water is a basic neccesity and we have taken the system from KENT to ensure that the water we dring is clean and pure but I am not exactly sure weather I will suffer from impure water or I am suffring from the harrasment of inaapropriate service or breach or trust.

              Kent RO/Kent Grand + — False commitments and no after sales service

              Dear Mr.Rao,

              I have been writing and callin u this since long time back but not getting any response from ur side. , just like to bring to your knowledge, that i have purchased Kent Grand + on[protected] from Symphony Home Appliances(Water World).

              I was promised during sales that 4 services from company and additional 2 services from water world will be provided. Till date not a single service has

              happened for my machine. Suddenly one fine day the UV stopped working and when i approached the vendor he had sent his technician who has teared up

              all the wiring and has put the UV in a non workable position. He stated that he will come back tommorow and will get it done. Since last 20-25 days i was

              following up with him, but he never turned up inspite of giving commitments. I approached kent site wherein they directed me to Mr.Rajendra Dixit and asked

              me to update my problem to him and he will get it resolved. After approaching him he had taken the dealer on confrence call, post which i was committed that

              the problem will be resolved with 12 hrs. Again 48 hrs passed away and no one turned up, so again i had to call rajendra. He apologised and directed me to

              one of his another dealer Mr.Sanjeev(Contact No.[protected]). Sanjeev has sent his technician for analysing the things, who inturn stated that the previous

              technician who has visited for service has teared up and destroyed all the wiring set which was supporting UV and u need to pay Rs.350 for this and then the

              machine will work properly. I called up rajendra and sanjeev and stated that its the company fault and they need to bear the expense as its the technicians fault
              who has done all this, but they commented that u need to pay, this is the only solution. As a fooled customer i had to pay for getting the UV in working condition.

              My disconnect is since its the technician fault, why i am charged Rs.350????? and since the company policy states that service should happen properly then

              why its missing after sales?????. My product is still under warranaty and due to negligence, pathetic service & unskilled dealer and technician i had to bear the

              loss of Rs.350. The whole act resembles me of complete forgery and customer dissatisfaction. Kindly provide a resolution for my problem as i am really

              pissed off by the pathetic response from company representative and dealer. Waiting to hear from u soon and awaiting a prompt response from ur side

                1. I BOUGHT A KENT GRAND PLUS RO PLANT WORTH 13990/- AND WITHIN 15 DAYS THE ITEM GOT DEFECTIVE . THERE IS NO RESPONSE FROM THE HOME SOLUTIONS RETAIL MANGALORE BRANCH INSPITE OF REPEATED REMINDERS.

                  kent water purifer out put water testing report is saying that this purified water is not suitable drinking.
                  previous dealer who left the company, he cannot do any service or clarification in this regard.
                  company should provide proper service and consultation centre in this regard.
                  The service of kent water purifier is very bad i suggest not to buy kent water purifier

                    I purchased kent RO water purifier unit sl no. 90453186 on 12.7.09 from one o[censored]r CSS Mrinal Varman at Salt lake, Kolkata. On 8.6.10 it gave filter change alarm. The matter was reported to the local office. Since then my system is working off and on. They refused to change the filter though in warranty period. They demand money for changin the same. For last one month we are in agony and forced to drink semi-filtered water. Pl. help. If this is not the policy of the company to harrass its customer. I am in a fix if i should continue using this system or not.
                    Finaly they (Alex Home appliance, authorised distributor for Kent at Mohisgot PO Krishnapur, Kolkata-700102) have armtwisted Rs. 1850/- for changing the membrane of my water purifier though it was well within warranty period

                      I have carried out the annual maintenance with the Akash enterprises Alwar by paying them Rs. 3500/-against AMC No.1460 dated 19/04/10.
                      neary 15 days ago some faults developed in the RO system, so that I have intimated the same to Akash Enterprises Alwar for rectification of the same but the have not attended the complaint till now.
                      Now they are not interested in attending my phone.
                      Now the problem has resolved and the complaint is regularly attending by Akash enterprises Alwar

                        Dear sir,

                        I purchased a KENT mineral RO on 10 Aug 2009 invoice No 5SM 90001411 Book No 5SM-0029 modle Kent guard plus mineral RO KR[protected]. After installation, machine frequently giving problems such as UV lamp burn out, RO starts without water, Ro working after RO tank full, Ro not filtering the water and so many problems?. What is the quality of international level of standards or patent?

                        RO not eorking since last 5 days. I have made a complaint to service centre tele No [protected] on 28 June 2010 ,Service centre not giving assurance for providing services at last I rang up to [protected] sombody ( a female employ) told me that complaint will be rectified within 24 working hours that is 8X3 =24hrs, means within three days.

                        Our neighbours having local RO machines and after two years they have no problems like me.

                        In my opinion people must AVOID TO PURCHASE KENT mineral RO .

                        Kent Mineral RO — no service provided by the service centre since 8 months

                        Sir , authorised dealer of your product has refused to provide me proper service even after submitting my complain. They refused to show me the complain book, which I afraid has no more proper evidence left. But I even after submitting my complain with regard to fetch your attention towards the improper service provided by your company contrary to your claim. My Kent RO is not working for last 8 month. Please provide me proper service and take action against irregularities.

                        kent mineral R O — improper servicing

                        our "kent " mineral R O was not functioning since 12 th April 2010. complaint was lodged with m/s on 13th april with m/s Sudershan enterprizes plot no 220 PU4 , near hotel country inn A B Road Indore. phone[protected].
                        there representative came on 15 th april. He said that one perticular part is malfunctioning / damaged and will have to be replaced.
                        The part was replaced on 19 th april. The R O was still not functioning but he said that it may be due to low voltage. he took the money Rs 1250.00
                        The R O is still not working.

                          1. The undersigned had approached Kent RO System manufacturer to register a complaint against the non functioning of Kent RO Water System. The letter ref written to them is 1908/Sigs/Accts dated 27 May '10 by 19 Wireless Experimental Unit, PIN-904819, C/O 99 Army Post Office. Further, the undersigned also approached the company on phone and spoke to Mr.Sirish, Executive incharge of North Eastern Zone.

                          2. There have been only verbal assurances from the Company but no visit by any rep of the Company. The said water purifier system is still dysfunctional and the undersigned is facing a lot of problems to the extent that people have fallen sick. The said system was purchased in '08 from tezpur.

                          3. It is requested that necessary instructions/action be taken to ensure a better service by the Company.

                            Purchased Kent Grand+ ( Serial no. KR[protected] water purifier vide Invoice - Cum - Bill KENT / 209 dt. 8-5-2010 from M/s Unique Water Purifier Pvt. Ltd., 19, South Purbachal Road, Kolkata - 700078. It's Phone no. is[protected] O ). On the same day the purifier was installed & was working nicely. Paid half of the agreed price by a cheque favouring the supplier but not the Kent. I have insisted on the suppliers to show whether the Unique water purifier pvt. Ltd. is an approved agency by the Kent for sale and service ( even after sales ) of the machines in Kolkata. There is no positive response instead asking for the balance payment. I wish to pay to the right agency / person authorised by the Kent who can attend all my complaints in Kolkata and any other places in India in case of my job transfer.

                            Kindly tell me the supplier was authorised by Kent or not. If not what shall I do now. please protect my interests. I wish to pay to Kent or their authorised person only.

                            Hi This is Dipankar I had purchased a KENT Water Purifier from M/S SHIVA ELECTRONICS, Rajpur PS-Sonarpur. It was a bad experience that i did not know about KENT. Water not getting purified properly. After this experience i came to know i have been mis guided. I got number a mobile number Mr.Abhishek ([protected]) but i have not got any response from that number, after that i send my complain through SMS. Still now i have not got any service from KENT.                               regarding service

                              Sir,

                              I had purchased KENT RO water purifeir since last 1 year. I had many problems in it time to time. I had complained to the dealer,he came for servicing three time & now the purifiear is not at all working properly again.I think i had done a big mistake that i had purchased that product.

                              Pls do the needful.

                              We purchased Kent Ro plant in last year. After some time with is also provided an external filter as an extra precaution.

                              We have changed the external filter 3-4 times and internal filter it also 3-4 times. Every 15 days back water flow was very slow. So we can always complaint in your mumbai office for checking purpose.

                              He always sent Mr. Pradip (Who's not known abt the real technical problem) after 3-4 days, he always suggest us to changed filter & we done it.

                              He also informed that the external filter cartridge must be replaced every month, the internal filter and activated carbon unit must be changed every 2 months and the RO element every year.

                              Which means a minimum recurring expenditure of Rs[protected] per year.

                              In addition to the hassles of getting service for the unit. It normally takes 3-7 days and 6-10 calls before a service person turns up.

                              This was not the understanding that was given to us when we purchased the unit.

                              A simple calculation will tell you that it is very much cheaper to bulk purchase water than purchase KENT RO.

                              What it means is that a Rs 15000 unit has a max life 2 ½ years.

                              Why not call it a throw away hassle free water purifier?

                              Throw it away after getting 12000 liters of water.

                              If my facts and thinking is wrong please ask you branch office in Mumbai to clarify.

                              I am agrre with it that the after sales services of Kent ro is the worst in this world andproduct is good but it is not very durable maintainace cost is very high so who are planing to buy kent never go for it.

                                SIR, I HAVE PURCHASED THE KENT RO WATER PURIFIER FROM M/s MUNNA LAL & SONS, JALANDHAR CANTT. THE SHOPKEEPER TOLD ME THAT SINCE THE KENT COMPANY HAVE SERVICE CENTER AT PATHANKOT, FREE SERVICES WILL BE AVAILABLE TO ME, EVEN IF IT IS INSTALLED AT PATHANKOT. I CONTACTED THE SUB-DISTRIBUTOR AT PATHANKOT AND THEY INSTALLED THE SYSTEM. BUT THEY REFUSED TO SERVICE THE WATER PURIFIER, BECAUSE WE HAVE NOT PURCHASED IT FROM THEM.
                                I HAVE CONTACTED THE SERVICE PROVIDER AT JALANDHAR AND THEY ASSURED US TO DO THE NEEDFUL, BUT AFTER ONE AND HALF YEAR OF PURCHASE, NO FREE SERVICE IS PROVIDED.

                                  i purched kent ro before 7 month.but sir it is not working properly.i have call in kent ro company but noresponse . no one technician come for service.plz short out the poblem as soon as possible.

                                  I have purchased Kent mineral R O water purifier from kolhapur dealer named coolwave engineers.The service from them is so poor that after repeated calls also they do not even have a curtsy to attend the call. from the date i have purchased the m/c every after 2 to 3 months i have problems regarding the m/c . After repeated complains to company persons then and then only some one comes repairs the m/c. the m/c has become a total headache. Now the m/c is not working for almost 8 days. After repeated complaints also no one is attending our call.
                                  I thing once they sell m/c everything is over. till i dont purchase the distributor repeatedly calls and after that he doesnt even show his face.They are only doing selling and they do not want to give any service. 15 thousand rupees is totally waste of money.Dont ever buy this m/c. before confirmation of service.
                                  Now i dont understand what should be done of this m/c.
                                  Yes, Company is only intersted in making money, will be soon washed out from market after such service

                                  i purched a kent water purifier 11 month ago but sir it is not working properly.i have call kent company but technician is not taking the phone. the phone number of the technician(anish) [protected] is given by the shop (VSK haripad Alappuzha Kerala). so please take necessary action.

                                  We had purchased a Kent RO and taken annual maintenance from Hazra Electronics, Howrah . We had lodged a call for RO not working . However, no one has turned up and the lady at the center is very rude and says that they will send the service engineer at their convenience . What kind of service is this ? How can Kent just shrug their responsibility by appointing a service center, without making any adequate efforts to check the service levels of their service centers . When we bought Kent RO, we should be assured of service levels ( irrespective of the delivery mechanism whether it is directly by Kent or through authorised service center )

                                    Dear Sirs,

                                    I was using Kent RO Water Purifier with our entire satisfaction for 3 years. 2 years ago it started developing snags & we were suggested by Your local dealer to discard the machine & opt for new model which had many added advantage. As per his suggestion, we had purchased new machine. It worked very well for first six months & then started giving electric shocks. We then contacted Your local dealer who tried his best to solve the problem since last 18 months but was unable to solve the problem. He finally told us that he cannot solve the problem as he has tried all possible ways to solve the problem.

                                    Due to superb performance of first machine, I had asked my circle to purchase Kent RO purifier systems & so far am able to convince 50+ friends & relatives to buy Kent RO machines. Day by day the intensity of Electric Shock is increasing & I fear fatal accident may occur due to this. Then I inquired about this with my circle & more than 15 friends & relatives told me that they too are facing same problem.

                                    I suspect that there is some design flaw or defective part/s installed in the machine & sincerely urge You to check them in new products. I also highly recommend You to recall all such faulty machine & either replace them or repair them before any fatal accidents occurs.

                                      pathetic aftersales service.
                                      the service mechanics are trying to make money by selling parts in personal capacity/
                                      they take a part for replacement under AMC, and bring it back after 10 days to say that, it is not theirs and that we can buy a new one at a price to be paid to the service boy.
                                      after re-installing the machine and changing parts worth more than rs.4000/= and taking an AMC , the company is unable to make the machine operate. everytime a mechanic comes, takes away or replaces a part, asks for money/personal selling of parts-when compaining to the company, no one bothers to take action.
                                      How can responsible citizens like Hema Malini, endorse such a product, that also something related so importantly to human health?
                                      Would the consumer forum wake up and take note and action?

                                      I have also had very bad experience with KENT RO Systems. But no point in complaining as no one is bothered.
