Lenovo — laptop is not not working.........

when i am using my laptop..after 10 to 20 minute my system is automatically shutdown...i was purchased my laptop on 17 june 2007..what is this problem???????
i purchased lenovo y510 in may 08. i am ragistered some complain (dead DVD-drive and adapter, minor opening of hinges)under case ID no L01900J4 appox. two weeks before. Last tuesday i got replacement of DVD-drive and adapter from century service center. But for lowercase replacement they charged Rs 3500/-.I want to know that why they charges for that. It's not any machenical damage it's simply lossen of hinges due to regular uses.So tell me how you people deciede for that.

Lenovo — The laptop is not working as it should.

I bought Lenovo Y500 in NOV 2008.
There are plenty of problems with it.
1) The DVD Writer stopped working in JAN 2010
2) The battery backup is like for just 15 mins.
3) The Right Speaker isn't working.
4) The Bass speaker stopped working too.

Is there any solution to all this? other than buying a new laptop.

    I purchased Lenovo adapter at 12 Dec 2012(4 months ago).
    It had burst.I complained in customer care regarding my
    burst adapter.They give me a ID and said that you kindly mail
    on this id([protected]@in.ibm.com).
    I mailed at this id they told on reply that" As per the trail
    mail,kindly ask your dealer to contact to Neoterics for
    all optional part ". I have also sent my purchased bill along with
    my mail as an attachment.

    please provide me proper solution regarding my adapter.

      I bought a Lenovo G580 on 20th of March, Serial Number:WB091992​xx, Initially it was loaded with dos. After reaching home I loaded with windows 7 and windows xp dual boot. It was having a touchpad issue since it started. Next day itself registered complaint in Lenovo technical support- docket number: [protected].I took the laptop to Caddons Service centre next to Caddons from where I bought this laptop. The worst customer service I've experienced ever. The Asst. Mgr-Service Rahul said laptop will get replaced within a weeks time. But its been over 2 weeks since I bought my laptop, and coz of this issue am still not willing to load my office programs into it. I need a complete replacement for this manufacturing defect. I called up Lenovo Technical Support, Lencare and Lenovo Customer Care, for more than 17 times, and all were diverting calls to each other, without a resolution, even tried contacting [protected]@lenovo.com (promised reply in ad in Lenovo Website, but a bogus id in reality, where no response so far). . Each time I contact Customer Care or Technical Support or Service Centre they are redirecting to each other, Last week when I called Technical Support, that executive was telling that part which is failing is not available in India and need to be imported. Actually it was an Unopened box item and it was a faulty piece and why should I wait almost a month to solve this. I definitely don't want this serviced, I need either replacement or money back, I'll go for some other brand laptop with at least better service and support other than LENOVO .I had a call from Lenovo Warranty department, stating replacement is done from pop department only. I ve been behind this for over 2 weeks, lost of money, energy and work.I have been re-routing to all toll-free numbers since 22nd March .Is this Lenovo's worldwide support service for providing a customer with a defective laptop and making​ the process​ lag for over 2 weeks time? I Seek Justice, if this is the value they give to customers they should definitely stop operations in India.

      We have purchased a loptop from lenovo showroom – galaxy it lenovo (chembur Mumbai) bill dated no. 21-january-2008.

      With in 2 days we started getting a problem in the laptop, there is some major problem with the laptop and till date we have no utility for product. We have given it for the 4 time to service centre and still they not able to detect the problem nor they are providing us any proper statement and they are not even ready to replace it.

      I asked them for the replacement for the product and service centre is saying “we don’t have authority to replace the product”
      Even our dialer is saying “ till I get instructions from service centre that laptop can’t be repared I can’t replace the laptop”

      The point is Sir, even after 3 months if they are not able to detect the problem in the laptop (that why it is hanging)then I think they should replace it.
      Even yesterday 27 –march-2008 I have sent it for the 5 th time to service centre.i am still facing the same (hanging problem)

      But the problem here is, on one is helping us . every one is giving excuses.and pointing other person.

      I don’t know what to do now, I am fadeup of running behind everyone and asking for replacement.

      The only solution is to tell whosoever you meet about the bad quality of the product. I have made it a point to dissuade every prospective purchaser laptops to desist buying lenovo laptops. Now we know how bad these Chinese products can be.

      Lenovo Laptop — bad response from the service center

      SIR/MADAM,
      I AM VIVEK SUMAN FROM KOLHAPUR , MAHARASHTRA. I HAD PURCHASED A LENOVO WARRANTY PACK OF ONE YEAR FOR MY LAPTOP. ONE DAY WHEN I OPENED THE LID OF MY LAPTOP ONE OF THE HINGES BROKE OFF. WHEN I WENT TO THE SERVICE CENTER I WAS TOLD THAT THE HINGE COULD NOT BE REPLACED BECAUSE ITS PHYSICAL DAMAGE.
      BUT ITS NOT SO I HAD JUST OPENED THE LID AND THAT'S IT.

      Lenovo Laptop — misleading the customer

      I purchased Lenovo laptop for my daughter in the month of Jan. 09, immidiatly after purchase I found that it was giving problem while charging, the problem was informed to the customercare and they advise us to load the new driver & it was done, after that the laptop was taken by daughter to USA for her studies in the month of Jun. 09. She found the same problem at USA. She approached Lenovo service station at her place and was told that the particular model was not having warranty/service backup at USA.I approached Lenovo at India and asked where rhey have mentioned that the partcular model is not servicable at some of the countries & the answer was quite funny one should go to the website of Lenovo before purchasing the product. The company has not mention these norms neither in their advertisement nor in their warrenty book. Due to this unfair trade practice I have suffered a lot financially and mentally, and I have brought back the said laptop from USA. My daughter is forced to purchase a new laptop at her place.Kindly advice me for my next step.

DON'T FILE CASE BUT WE WILL SETTLE THE CASE OUT OF THE COURT AND THEY ARE WASTING MY TIME AND ALSO NOT SOLVING THE PROBLEM EITHER TO GIVE ME THE COMPENSATION AND INTEREST ON THE AMOUNT AND FEES OF ADVOCATE ETC.

        I bought a Z series ideapad Lenovo Laptop on 1st April 2013 through cash payment of 44,500 Rs from Lenovo store (Udbhav Info solutions Pvt Ltd.) at Mahagun Metro Mall Vaishali.Sale person at store provided me a acknowledement reciept on the day but didnot gave me the original puchase bill at that time ,he said that tomorrow he will send me bill via email due to some server (technical billing issue). But I didn't recieved any bill from their side on the next day i.e on 2nd april.
        So called on 2 nd april and he said that he will give it next day.
        On 5th of april I called again in the morning he said that he will send it today ...but didnt recieved it till afternoon. called again at store and another person recieved the call and said that guy is busy with some customer. Called to their headoffice on number [protected] and the lady said that there is some year end closing issue and some issue with their billing system and told me that at this time they can provide me bill for date 31 March 2013. I refused to take that. further she said that they can avail me the bill on monday 8th april.

        Called to Lenovo customer care at toll free number[protected]/90 and let them know the issue.but they also not gave me the complaint number and the guys said that they will escalate it to their supervisor and supervisor will talk to their business partner..No proper response from Lenovo India customer care and gave me the Lenovo Registered office number [protected] at Bangalore, called at bangalore RO and they route me to the technical tollfree number. They all are confusing customer and not giving the resolution...

        Consumer Care please help me to get the bill

            Dear Sir,

            I bought a Lenovo Ideapad A2107 on Feb 8th, 2013. On Mar 12, 2013, I was not being able to switch it on. I immediately callled up Lenovo support and got a complaint number and took the tablet to the service center. The service center is Hi-Tech Informatics, Near Manipal Hospital, Old Airport Road. There, one of the technicians checked the tablet and told me that they will diagnose and inform me on the same day regarding the problem. But they did not call me. On calling them the nest day, they said that the motherboard had crashed and they needed 3 days to replace it. On calling on Saturday, they informed that they had not yet received the motherboard. On calling Lenovo support again, they said they are taking up the case and had escalted it and I will receive it by Wednesday. On wednesday, they said they will call me at 12 noon. But they did not. Then, I called again at 1:30 pm and they said, they will call me back at 4 pm, which again they didnt. On callling them at 5:30 pm, they said they will call me tomorrow. Today(21 Mar, 2013), they called me up and said that their stores are out or motherboards and they will replace it by April 12th, 2013. On askin them to do something about it, all they say is, "Sir, you escalate".

            How long does it take to ship a motherboard ? And if such is the case, why dont I get a replacement when it has been just one month that I bought it. And the service center people's behaviour is totally unethical. They promise to call and then they do not.

            Please look into this case and help me out.

            Lenovo — DELAY REPAIING

            Dear Sir,

            I have submitted my Lenovo Laptop to the Century Computers, Lucknow on 21.01.2010 for the replacement of Mother Board as they have told me. But there is almost completed a month and my laptop is still not repaired. and I have already purchased a service warranty pack. I have remind to your authorised dealer i.e Century Computers lots of time but they cannot give me the satisfactory feedback. if this is your service then I want to suggest all the people that they will never buy the Lenovo computers. You are such a big company and your service is like this....

                I bought Lenovo 3000 Y500.laptop.No doubt it is one of the best laptop.
                But it has some huge drawback, such as
                1) Its CD/DVD drive device stops reading after 6 month. then you have no other option except change
                2) There is no any update available for the DVD writer at Lenovo website
                3) Battery will never support after one year more than one hour.
                4) Speaker issue
                5) Laptop gives horrible noise

                Y500 — dvd drive not recognised

                sir,

                my notebook is is just 2 - years older. My Lenovo Y500 series is having a problem in CD DVD.
                ---my dvd drive is not recognised.
                ---earlier i have many problems with the dvd drive like.... it was making so much of noise after inserting dvd or CD And also not reading many cd/dvds, as just show blank on the drive.

                Either showing no cd or space is emptyor shows the space but no data can be read.

                  I brought lenovo G570 in reliance resque shop at MANTRI SQARE , Malleshwaram BANGALORE ( i brought it in june 2012)
                  This lap is still under warranty (they charge extra Rs 2000 for warranty) , i have blue screen problem in lap (means screen shows BOOT MGR file missing)
                  SO I'm call lenovo customer care center but they didn't receive my call ,

                  Lenovo — missing

                  Iam facing the problem in my laptop from previous year .I have complaint the insurance company but i don't get any answer from company side. company of my laptop was lenovo(IBM thinkpad) .

                      I have given a laptop under warranty Serial no WB03607555 to service center for the replacement of faulty mother board complaint no [protected] on 8th feb 2013 with an assurance that i will receive the same by 3-4 business days , after repeated follow up still my lap top is not repaired and every time the service center is giving the same replay as they have not received the mother board from the company. also their customer care officers are unable to provide me exact date for the closure of the complaint. please help.                         I had troubles with the touchpad by the time i bought this lap, some part of the touchpad was not working, i had to wait 2-3 months to get a replacement (" their excuse was the product was new and so not available at the time"), & what i got was worst, "i asked them to please ensure the quality of the product before sending " again after 2 months i got my 2nd replacement, this time also with defects, left end not working..

                        wasted a lot time sending mails and contacting their support. now they stop responding to mails. may be they will after the warranty is over. what am i supposed to do with this, i they cant send me the right replacement then they should better refund my cash & take this away. did i pay for a lap with no touchpad?

                        This is the worst customer service i ever gone through, i never expected this from lenovo. and i did mistake by refering this to others. does warranty means to play fraud? sending replacemnts with defects till warrenty is over? this people are playing fraud, making people fools with wrong assurance in the name of warranty, and its our fault not to respond to such fraud companies.

                        I am not posting this hoping to get a better replacement tomorrow but, let this be a warning to all. never expect warranty from lenovo.

                          I have purchased lenevo smartphone A60+ from Pujara telecom Rajkot (Gujarat) two month back but since last twenty days its speaker is not working. I have approach to its service center but its not yet started. I then ask directly to company 's call center about my problem but no solution given. I also ask to Pujara telecom but they ask me go directly to company 's service center but as I mentioned there is no any working service center in vadodara.
                          I came to know that there is no working service center in Gujarat for lenevo phones.

                                I have logged the call on 25 Jan 2013 stating that power adapter is not working but till today i.e. 4 Feb 2013 not received the same. While logging call they told me that they will deliver the same in 3 working days

                                Call to 25 times to call center [protected] after waiting on Q call got connected but call center representative talking just crap..

                                  In 29 July 2012 i brought my laptop (Lenovo g560) in Staples, it got display problem in two days than they replaced it with same model new laptop. It also got speaker (right) problem. So, i went service center (Hi-tech informatics pvt ltd. in Bangalore) for assistance, they taken my compliant and told that we will call you back with in two days when we got speaker. But already one month had over i didn't got any call from that service center. My laptop S/N no. CB17135684.

                                  I took my laptop ( lenovo y560) for warranty up-gradation at hi tech informatics Bangalore they asked me to pay 3800 and it will take 20 days for up gradation and its been 2 and half months still not upgraded if I call them they a telling some lam reasons and now they r telling me it will b done by end of this month it's almost 3 months n I'm sure it won't even done by that time most pathetic service centre I never recommend not only this before I took for service regarding screen issues they did Do it properly and I have to go to hi tech informatics every alternate days almost for 3 weeks.

                                      HI this is hariprasath from chennai.
                                      I bought Lenovo- E430 laptop on 29-nov-2012 after one month later My DVD is not working and opened also.
                                      Within one month problem comes in DVD moreover they(Lenovo Service) replaced the DVD RW on 09-jan-2013. But on that it was working fine , again same problem ocuured. DVD not getting detected and not opened.
                                      Till now no responses from Service department.
                                      I need to get new laptop what is the procedure for claiming for replacement of new laptop.
