I have purchased Lenovo G470 jst b4 a month ago & i m facing problem of ODD since beginning. Its not reading any DVD/CD and showing the message "Plz insert disc into drive E" & also whenever i click on the icon, it ejects the disc.
Although ODD has been replaced 4 times but the same problem is coming again & again after 3-4 days of replacement.

The service centre people dont have any idea regarding this problem & they are unable to solve it.

I think You put your Mother Board CD into the CD/DVD Driver and read the message correctly and follow the Steps.

      i have purchased 1 laptop from futurebazaar.com. my registered product id at fiture bazaar is [protected]. On the payment time i ask them whether this product is in stock .if it is in stock then i ll pay the money .they told yes the product is in stock and you can purchase by paying money . i paid the money exactly that period .after 3-4 days again i enquired about my product. they told it is in shipping process , you have to wait for 7 to 21 days. but after 7 day they product is out of stock .we can't give the product..

      I am extremely sorry to mention that the stock of the ordered product was already exhausted by the time we confirm your payment with the banking partners. I have even tried arranging the additional unit of the product from our vendor however were unable to arrange the same and hence have gone ahead and refunded the amount form our end. Hope the refund amount has been received at your end.

      I can understand that the recent experience you had is really unfortunate but I urge you to show confidence in our competency again, with the assurance that such inconvenience will not be repeated in future.

      Kindly accept our apologize for the inconvenience caused to you in this regard and hope you will give us second chance to prove ourselves.

        Dear Sir,

        How do I find the originality of lenova all-in-one desktop? I have booked a B510 series all-in-one desktop. I’m asking this question because of the story narrated below:

        I decided to buy a lenova all-in-one desktop on 6th November and reached “dot com lenova”, an exclusive showroom for Lenova brand at Spencer’s plaza, Chennai.

        Upon Mr. Shakthivel, showroom manager’s convincing skills, I decided to buy All In One Desktop B 510 model system after price deliberations. I paid full amount of Rs. 48,300/- which includes an up gradation of 2 GM RAM and a wireless headphone with mic from good brand.

        Firstly, I was told that stock is readily available and I could take the system along with me on the same day. The moment, I swiped my credit card for payment, Shakthivel changed his stance and said that only one display system is available and the other stocks are at storage godown. He convinced me to wait for one day and he promised to deliver the system on 7th Nov at my residence. With hopes, I left home.

        On 7th November, when I followed up, I was told that the storage godown was on holiday due to a local festival and I would receive my system on 8th November.

        Upon several times of calling up on 8th November, I got hold of Mr. Shakthivel and I was told that the system has to come from Bangalore to Chennai and it would take one more day. Why did he lie to me at the time of booking?

        On 9th November, I got frustrated calling repeatedly with response and finally got him through their showroom land line phone and understood that the system got drenched in rain while shipping from Bangalore, so I need to wait till 12th November to receive my system.

        On 12th November, I get a call from Mr. Shakthivel ( first time ever he calls up a customer proactively) to say that the system would reach me on 14th November due to shipment delay.

        While I got completely frustrated, asked for the money paid back. I was denied brutally to return the money. Also, was not advised to connect anyone at Lenova directly.

        Since, I had paid the total amount, I was left with no choice to wait till 14th November.

        I tried calling Mr. Shakthivel on 14th November and his mobile was switched off and I tried reaching him through land line phone at his office. To my surprise, I’m hearing that Mr. Shakthivel has gone on leave and would return after few days. Tried speaking with someone called Mr. Ram at their office but in vain as he barely spoke in English / Tamil and that too with rude tone. Why did he again lie to me that the system would reach on 14th November?

        With all efforts, I got hold of Mr. Kushal, owner of dot com brand on 14th November and escalated the matter. He wanted time till 16th November to deliver the system as he is expecting same from Bangalore. I had demanded for my money back if the system doesn’t reach me on 16th November, for which he agreed.

        On 16th November, after several phone calls, I reached Mr. Kushal on his phone. He wanted the order number to follow up on delivery, which was sent to his phone via sms and there comes a reply that I would receive the system at my residence after 7.pm. I did receive a call at 6.pm and informed that my system has reached their showroom and wanted my permission to upgrade RAM ( I had asked for an additional 2GB RAM). I was unsure and rushed to their showroom to check the system personally. There I see my lenova system in the box and was relieved. I gave permission to upgrade my RAM, they made me wait for 1 hour and then confessed that the model being new, the technician couldn’t upgrade it immediately and they need support from lenova technical centre for the same. I was asked to go back home and the promise again to deliver the system at home next day morning.

        On 17th November, I waited till 4.pm and no update from them. When I followed up again, I was told that the system would reach by 6.pm. As usual, no update till 6.pm and I followed up again to know the status and received my system at home finally at 7.pm. service engineer took 2 hours to set it up, however couldn’t find a way to activate TV Tuner. He confessed he couldn’t address the issue and would send someone senior.

        On 18th November, there’s comes a senior engineer at 12noon and struggled till 3.pm and agreed that he couldn’t resolve the issue and wanted some more time. At 6.pm, I receive a call from lenova contact centre and the customer care member asks me if I logged any compliant. When I tried explaining the background, he said that he was unable to reach the service engineer number of dot com dealer, hence call came to me directly. I did follow up with dot com dealer and asked to connect with customer care immediately.

        On 19th November, another service engineer from dot com dealer visits home and resolves the issue.

        Today 24th November, I'm penning this experience because the RAM upgraded is not working properly, I’m getting blue screen problem since yesterday. My wireless headphone is yet to reach me, no update from them. I feeling low to call and shout at them again!

        Is there anyone from lenova reading this, please make a note of your customer’s worst experience.

        Dot com is worst service
        Recently, I bought a skull candy headset from dot com. Dot com sold me 2012 manufactured skull candy product price is Rs1, 200 and not working good. Dot com seller told me it has 1 year warranty. I went to dot com for replacement and they provided the address near choolaimedu for replacement.I went that to shop they told me we stopped doing services for dot com and skull candy. Again I went to dot com. they provided the address near to anna salai- Brand Eyes distributor pvt ltd, No 12 Vaibhav complex 4th floor, Smith road, Mount road, chennai - 600002.In this service center they told me dot com sold you very old head set. It was stopped long back. So there is no replacement. Hence dot com is worst in service and sell very old manufactured product.

                I bought a lenovo laptopmodel no Z560 AND THE serial no[protected] laptop CBQ3694100 and my invoice no-NCSPL/RI/15294/10-11.It shows a problem that''THE NumLock key of the keyboard is not functioned''.I have gone to LENOVO CARE but they don't help me and just don't co-ordinate with me also.I don't think this type of problem comes from the reputed company LENOVO.NOW i wannnnnnnnnnnnnnt help from company head office.THANK LENOVO.ALL THE BST.

                  I have logged a complain for Lenove Laptop Z570 LCD replacement, which has been logged under following Service Center.

                  I have been haeashed from past 15 days as when ever I am calling to Lenovo Call Center they are telling that the request has been closed & the LCD has been replaced by the Service Center Engineer, where as there is nothing happen yet.

                  Call Center Agent's are very annoying and always divert the case by giving the number of Service Center.
                  Service Center people are ignoring the issues by saying that the case has not been assigned to them.

                  I am really fade up of this service from Lenovo A feeling guilty on my decision of purchasing Lenovo product, I will make sure that none of my friend or relative should go for any of the Lenovo product in future.

                  As usual now planing to register the case to "Consumer Forum".

                  I am sure that this comment will not make any sense to my concern because a company who is not caring about the customer from direct sources, how come they will react to this comment.

                  Please avoid using Lenovo Product's as it is a second serious issues I have come accross for the same brand.
                  It's really shame to recommend Lenovo to someone.
                  Please...please...please go for some other brand as Lenovo is getting worse day by day...
                  I know how difficult it is when your laptop is of no use to you just after purchasing it a month ago.

                  there are many other brand available in market of same configuration, please explore before buying.
                  can any body help me to register the case to consumer forum.
                  I totally agree with with your annoyance with customer care/Service center team, even i am victim of the same. My laptop is hardly 3 months old, paint is peeling off at hand rest place { first of its kind ] This is my 3rd laptop, i have never seen such an issue with any other laptop. Customer care/service team is more keen mint money out of this. Even a small kid can tell by seeing very low quality painting method been used, still they want to argue. Lat 1 month i am running behind service center to get there attention. I have started hating my laptop due to this.

                    CS00015440, Model No.CS01061702 with a fresh new machine.

                    Sir,

                    The above referred machine was delivered to me on 14th Day of September 2011 bill no. 1697. Immediately on receipt of the same machine started problem in DVD ROM. The matter was referred to your Lenovo Customer care centre and their customer care executive registered a call to the authorised Lenovo service centre in Sarat Bose Road in Kolkata vide call no. [protected] to look into the matter. The Lenovo Service centre replaced the DVD Rom with a new one in order to solve the problem. But a day later the problem of DVD rom came in to play again. As a result another call was registered with the same call no. by me to the Lenovo customer care centre. Again the technician from the Service centre came and inspected the system thoroughly and detected problem in the MOTHERBOARD of the computer and told that as the machine is under warranty Lenovo would replace the motherboard.

                    As the motherboard is the key part of the system & machine started showing problem in one or the other from the Very beginning, I apprehend I will not be able to operate a flawless machine unless you replace the existing machine with a fresh new one. You can collect detail information from the LENOVO SERVICE CENTRE in SARAT BOSE ROAD Kolkata.
                    Please revert me with a mail with your positive response for better future customer relationship.

                      I have purchased Lenovo C320 All-in One Desktop
                      Model: 57303483 on[protected] just before one year
                      Immediately completion of warranty period, Odd Sound starts from desktop. I have contacted service centre, they are awaiting for service engineer and told me you have to pay repairing charges.
                      I have not expected such a think happen in LENOVO product
                      Really i am disappointed

                        The computer is under warrenty. They care a damn about the Issue.

                          i purcahsed lenovo laptop 10months ago...till date 7times my laptop motherboard has been changed...as warranty will expire after two months..i want replacement of my laptop.

                          I purchased Lenovo Mobile Model S-850 on 28/08/2014 in name Ganesh Das Shah.

                          I am facing a serious issue in my phone and need urgent replacement because i don't have so much time to visit your service center on daily basis.
                          Below are Job work details:-
                          1.) SRINO[protected] Dated 29/11/2014. Here the display was changed.
                          2.) SRINO[protected] Dated 04/02/2015. Now again i faced issue in my display so motherboard was changed this time despite i requested for replacement because i was facing serious problems for which i have attached the pics in this mail.
                          Here IMEI No was changed from [protected] to [protected]

                          For above i had to wait for almost a week and as i received my phone i again faced two problems

                          * Mic problem. (Not working at all)
                          * Touch problem.(Hangs and not smooth at all)
                          By now i was into habit of visiting your service center so i visited again and this time Mic was replaced under Job No SRINO[protected] Dated 12/02/2015.

                          Now still i am having touch problem and phone has become completely scrap.

                          So i would request you to kindly replace as i have no more time to visit daily for repair and after so much problem and rigorous repairs i don't think it would work fine at all as expected .
                          All things have been changed so many Job work done, Every day new problem arises and i am totally fed up, So whats the purpose of warranty then.
                          Also the service center in charge feels that this piece is damaged too much and should be replaced but its outside his authority(as said by him) so he has asked me to mail my concern for this genuine case.

                          As you are quite reputed company and my issue is legitimate again i would request you to replace my phone as soon as possible.

                          It is clearly mentioned in Warranty booklet that if phone gives too much problem it should get replaced. Awaiting positive response.

                            I have purchased IBM Lenovo computer on 19/04/2006 from M/S. Jajee Electronics ,S..B temple road , Jajee complex Gulbarga ,Karnataka by paying Rs. 47000.00 . After purchasing I am facing several problems in Lenovo computer like CD drive is not working , UPS is not woking, after some time automatically full system is getting off . with in 3 months after purchasing CPU on off switch is not working . I have made the complaint to where I had purchased . They have advised to use another stand by switch. Now stand by switch is also not working . Again I contact the dealer for repair . Now they are saying it is not possible to repair (CPU on off switch) . They are temperoraly providing on off switch by connecting the wires. Now mouse is not working. They not ready to send faulty CPU to Manufacturer for repair/replacement. I have made the complaint to customer care . They simply replied your model number is not matching given irresponsible reply for escaping from the problems.

                                Lenovo — keyboard not working.

                                I took additional warranty 2 yrs for all in one desktop a year back, i was told quick service will be given, now when the need arises they are not even responding telphone call. Really hopeless service from reliance digital.

                                    I purchased a Lenovo Laptop with the following details:
                                    P/N : 59068974
                                    S/N : WB01562202.

                                    The purchase was dated 12th June '11 to my name (Bhavna Sehgal, B-7/42, Sector 18, rohini) from Advabce Computer Shoppe , 8, Vaishali Enclave, Pitampura. The poduct costed me Rs. 23000. In a few days the laptop started showing a blank screen and wasnt booting. On launching complaint (Case Id: [protected]) with Lenovo Technical Team, the Hard Disk of the Laptop was replaced on 26th July'11.

                                    Within a week, I started having the same problem, the Hard Disk was again replaced under Case Id: [protected] on 13th August'11

                                    I wish to complaint about the Laptop and need a refund for the same.
                                    If within two months the hard disk is being replaced twice, I am not sure of what would happen in the next two months. As of now the product is under warranty. If the same problem occurs post warranty?

                                    The Manager of the shop from where we purchased the laptop refused a refund/ replacement of the same directing me to the Lenovo technical Team.

                                    Kindly help me resolve the issue. I am dissatisfied with the services of Lenovo.

                                      I purchased a laptop of LENOVO and at that point of time there
                                      was a special offer of extended warranty of 2 years along with the normal warranty of a year, but when I called up the Customer Service team the say that it's not updated and cannot avail. After all conversations now they are informing that I should have registered for offer, but none of them infomed me about it at all, either from Lenovo nor LAPTOPSHOP Indiranagar.

                                      A real action needs to be taken on these ones and discourage this sort of offer from the companies.

                                      Im brought a Lenovo 460 before seven months but now a days occuring a problem.problem is a beep sound when OS loading and folder like blinking...which is the reason for this problem...?Help me

                                        I Purchased Lenovo Desktop BS 300 model sr. no. VS10042744 from Croma Ghaziabad , invoice no. SLF02A[protected] dt. 27.02.11.

                                        I am facing lots of the problem last five months after spending the Rs32000/-, and now Lenovo still not providing me the service and also not replaced the faulty desktop.They keep on directing me to customer care and communications with Lenovo are attached below.

                                        Now i request you to kindly register my complaint against LENOVO because they supplied me the faulty desktop.They are not ready to replace it instead they always insistt to get it repaired, they have already replaced Hard Disk but the problem still persisi & now they are advising to again get it repaired , for which i'm not ready. I want the system to be replaced as i dont want any further repairs on my newly purchased set. Their service engineers have also confirmed that system has problem.

                                        For your ready reference i am attaching the mails and photographs of the computer erros which are shown.

                                        Looking forward to a positive action.

                                        This refers to Lenovo BS 300 model sr. no. VS10042744 purchased by me vide invoice dated 27.02.11, invoice no. SLF02A[protected] from Croma Ghaziabad (scanned copy of invoice is attached).

                                        Set started giving problems within 15 days of purchase and Lenovo customer care at no.[protected] was contacted in March'11, but they resisted to send any service engineer instead they advised to take support via telecon only & they transferred the line to their Engineer without giving me my complaint number. I tried approx. around 8-10 times between March'11 & may'11 but was not getting right guidance to help my system work properly, finally in June'11 I advised customer care if they don't send any executive I will have no option but to go to consumer court, so finally they gave me contact no. of Mr. Nikhil at M/s Park Networks Ltd on . Complaint was lodged with Mr. Nikhil

                                        Their engineer Mr. Vipin visited & advised that there is problem in Hard Disk & needs repair, his observation which he captured as a photograph showing disc read error, same is also attached for your ready reference..

                                        The Hard Disk Was replaced on 15.07.11 but the problem still persists & the system shuts down/ goes blank within half an hour of work. First thing which comes on screen is " Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key_". Photograph is attached.

                                        Now when the computer was shut down & again it was started , it showed " Press F1 to enter BIOS or F12 to display boot menu". Photograph is attached Computer was performing no action when F12 is pressed, it accepted command of F1 & Showed progress which does not end until you switch off the computer. Photograph is attached.

                                        The problem persisted if you same restarted as many a many time, until a gap of approx. 5-6 hours is given. it starts again normally but problem repeats after 30 minutes o[censored]sage.

                                        Considering all above developments & wastage of time which took place due to improper guidance, I request you to replace this desktop on immediate basis as I’m not in a position to wait further as I’m fed up with this system and don’t want further repairs as I have not purchased a second hand desktop but a new desktop costing Rs 32000/- to me.

                                        Your immediate action is required on the subject by morning of 30.07.11 or else I will be forced to lodge a complaint against Lenovo in consumer Court on 30.07.11 with compensation of loss occurred to me till date.
