PROBLEMS FACE WITH THE LENOVO MACHINE..................

1.laptop on off automatically which i had reported to customer care .
2.hinges free the very third day
3.very bad/ poor customer care response ............

I purchase my machine on 6 th may 2012
logged first complaint on 9th may 2012 at dealer end (BEST BUY COMPUTERS ) JAMMU
Consult with customer care on 11 th may 2012 and logged a complaint first to technical support then again kept on trying for current status they just reply with stupid answers like your case with replacement is forwarded to "REPLACEMENT DEPARTMENT and a complaint number is given to u shortly and that too take a short period of 12-15 days on their apart "RIDICULOUS "!!
Again day by day complainig then for the sake of humanity they finally gave the no . [protected].
from 29 may onwards till 28 june ONE FULL MONTH ,NO ACTION TAKEN YET ,ONLY EXPLANATIONS TO DIFFERENT PERSONS/STAFF OF CUSTOMER CARE TELLING SAME PROBLEM AGAIN TWICE OR THRICE A DAY AND REST NOTHING IS DONE TILL YET .


Quick Replacement Required otherwise pay me my money back ,I will not interested to buy a lenovo machine furthermore as per the experience with customer care !!

    sir,as above inf.I buy lenovoG560 model no.20042 ,i3 ,500HD,2gb ram;14''LCD LED, problem is that when I open my leptop it creat uncomfortable sound but after some time it remain's ok and when I open more than 2or 3 prog .and play mp3 or videos it going to damage there sound & pic.quality.
    please help me and solve my problem .

    G 560 — RAM PROBLEM

    Sir, i am suffering from notebook hanging problem from last three months. i am using window xp origional. i check the system to run in safe mode and already installed windows 3 times by formating. but problem as it is. I already submitted the complained many times on your toll free number but no body comes to me for cheking of my machine. my product is in under warranty upto 02.07.2012. so please check my machine as soon as possible. because warranty left only 26 days.

      me, sanjy from taranagar bought an laptop from delta computer hisar(hariyana) there is an adapter that was got damage. I informed them (Lenovo customer care and case ID [protected]) as the result an engineer visited my shop and he concluded that this adapter got damage because of a minor cutting of lid wire that's why he refused to change.
      But i am also IT deploma holder and working for last five year. according to my skill or experience this adapter got damage because of manufacture defect but cutting of LID wire playes no significant role.

      Though it's under warranty period and it's market value is Rs.1800/- so how i can buy it. please pay attention on my current problem
      I assure that I have total documents and clause that can prove your fault like our conversation and picture of product


      Other wise I will knock the door of Consumer Court. but I still confirmed that you will take a note

        hello
        this is amit kumar & i am submitting the complaint againsts Lenovo laptops - idea pad model. the company's attitude towards the warranty service support is almost negligent. they just advise to refer the matter to some other section of their company where no one replies or try to resolve the Problem, as i have made a call to customer care & written a mail ( as posted below) to their directed email ID. But service centers are not ready to repair/ replace the inferior parts & no one is even replying against the mail.
        once the customer has paid the cost, the customer has to suffer & company is enjoying.

        i had purchased a your co. laptop as per details furnished below-
        Model : Ideapad Z570
        Sr No. : 1S5930431WB02616394
        Date of purchase : 02.11.11

        I have lodged a complaint (case ID- [protected]) regarding self-loosening & finally self-dismantling of the keys, which was attended by service engineer of Noida service center appreciably on 21/04/11 ie withing 24 hours. But the service center has denied to replace the same in warranty period at company's cost, citing it as a common problem in these models, where re-fixing job of keys doesn't get success.
        Morever the self loosening of some other keys is also visible now. so please get it repaired / replaced at company cost (being in warranty period) with atleast enough good quality keys/keyboard so as to remove the root cause of this problem.
        The snapshot of keyboard is also attached for ready reference.
        As a customer feedback, It is also suggested to replace such sub-standard keyboard in all such models, so that the customer, like us, may have not to bear inconvenience on account of this & their belief in quality of LENOVO is maintained.

          Greeting's for the day Sir,

          As i am using my laptop (LENOVO IDEA PAD) from dated 17/06/2011
          till date as there is a problem on the Screen getting Horizontal Lines on
          the screen, and also their is a problem on the Touch Keypad, there are some
          dots getting and it is increasing day by day. So i am not very much
          satisfied with the Model in six moth's i started getting the problem though
          it is in the WARRANTY period. So after 1 years what will happen to my
          laptop i don't know and what kind of service will you be providing me that
          also i don't know. As i also visited the service center so the person
          sitting at center also told me to mark the mail. And from where i have
          taken the laptop from there also not getting good response for ur
          distributor side, I request you sir to solve the problem ASAP. I want the
          laptop to be replace as early as. Detail's of the Laptop is mention below.

          Last week i am talking with Sumaiya Sultana and jatin panchal, Mr.Jatin Panchal says that i will reply u within 24hrs but still not a single reply from ur organization,I thing there no manner of working in such a good organisation, that why your company people is not replying to my case and not solving my case,,,,

          Mr mrizulla has committed to me i will send u one form to u and fill this and send to me for changing the Laptop but still i have not getted a single form to your company side, So what i thing for Your organization ...for this commitment ....

          What u want to do, i want to my laptop should be replacement on the urgent basic...ASAP..

          As i am using my laptop (LENOVO IDEA PAD) from dated 17/06/2011
          till date as there is a problem on the Screen getting Horizontal Lines on
          the screen, and also their is a problem on the Touch Keypad, there are some
          dots getting and it is increasing day by day. So i am not very much
          satisfied with the Model in six moth's i started getting the problem though
          it is in the WARRANTY period. So after 1 years what will happen to my
          laptop i don't know and what kind of service will you be providing me that
          also i don't know. As i also visited the service center so the person
          sitting at center also told me to mark the mail. And from where i have
          taken the laptop from there also not getting good response for ur
          distributor side, I request you sir to solve the problem ASAP. I want the

          Lenovo Laptop — want to change my laptop display screen

          This is Praveen Babu from Andhra Pradesh. I purchased Y410 series laptop on 15th Feb 2008 from one of your dealer. From the day one a small dot(.) on the screen which is very irritating to me and feeling headache, i made a complaint on this issue for so many times but i got a negative answer from them.i don't understand that why they are not serious for their manufacturing defects.So you please resolve this issue immediately.

              I felt really bad with Lenovo Customer service , i asked about the price details about their battery price details for my personal laptop through call , they asked me to send out mail . I sent the mail on Friday , as of now there is no update from their end(PFA) . Don't know y they need to take this much period of time to update their product price details .

              When i spoke with customer service , they are never mind about these thing's , they replied answer was "If would like to go any other product , that's your choice " This was their response . Please take it forward

                I have bought a Lenovo laptop in 2007. The machine type is 7761-48Q and the serial no is MA-82684. It worked almost fine till 2007. Problem started from January 2008 year and the CD/DVD drive stopped functioning. IN 2008, they have replaced the DVD drive (ODD) 5 times!!. Every time they replace it, it work for 2 months and then it started malfunctiong. Simply it could not recognize any media. In 2010 I go to a service center for upgrading my laptop warranty.Now after that When i contact customer care for complaining about my Dvd R/W .They told me that your warranty has expired and we could not do any thing. But according to me my laptop warranty will expire on feb 2012.They told me that it expires on 28 jan 2012.But i misplaced my receipt for warranty upgrade.Now they said that if you have a receipt then send us otherwise your laptop is out of warranty... Is Lenovo management listening. I have mailed the Len care so many times – but they are not simply responding!..

                      I have purchased Lenovo G470 jst b4 a month ago & i m facing problem of ODD since beginning. Its not reading any DVD/CD and showing the message "Plz insert disc into drive E" & also whenever i click on the icon, it ejects the disc.
                      Although ODD has been replaced 4 times but the same problem is coming again & again after 3-4 days of replacement.

                      The service centre people dont have any idea regarding this problem & they are unable to solve it.

On the payment time i ask them whether this product is in stock .if it is in stock then i ll pay the money .they told yes the product is in stock and you can purchase by paying money . i paid the money exactly that period .after 3-4 days again i enquired about my product. they told it is in shipping process , you have to wait for 7 to 21 days. but after 7 day they product is out of stock .we can't give the product..

                          I am extremely sorry to mention that the stock of the ordered product was already exhausted by the time we confirm your payment with the banking partners. I have even tried arranging the additional unit of the product from our vendor however were unable to arrange the same and hence have gone ahead and refunded the amount form our end. Hope the refund amount has been received at your end.

                          I can understand that the recent experience you had is really unfortunate but I urge you to show confidence in our competency again, with the assurance that such inconvenience will not be repeated in future.

                            Dear Sir,

                            How do I find the originality of lenova all-in-one desktop? I have booked a B510 series all-in-one desktop. I’m asking this question because of the story narrated below:

                            I decided to buy a lenova all-in-one desktop on 6th November and reached “dot com lenova”, an exclusive showroom for Lenova brand at Spencer’s plaza, Chennai.

                            Upon Mr. Shakthivel, showroom manager’s convincing skills, I decided to buy All In One Desktop B 510 model system after price deliberations. I paid full amount of Rs. 48,300/- which includes an up gradation of 2 GM RAM and a wireless headphone with mic from good brand.

                            Firstly, I was told that stock is readily available and I could take the system along with me on the same day. The moment, I swiped my credit card for payment, Shakthivel changed his stance and said that only one display system is available and the other stocks are at storage godown. He convinced me to wait for one day and he promised to deliver the system on 7th Nov at my residence. With hopes, I left home.

                            On 7th November, when I followed up, I was told that the storage godown was on holiday due to a local festival and I would receive my system on 8th November.

                            Upon several times of calling up on 8th November, I got hold of Mr. Shakthivel and I was told that the system has to come from Bangalore to Chennai and it would take one more day. Why did he lie to me at the time of booking?

                            On 9th November, I got frustrated calling repeatedly with response and finally got him through their showroom land line phone and understood that the system got drenched in rain while shipping from Bangalore, so I need to wait till 12th November to receive my system.

                            On 12th November, I get a call from Mr. Shakthivel ( first time ever he calls up a customer proactively) to say that the system would reach me on 14th November due to shipment delay.

                            While I got completely frustrated, asked for the money paid back. I was denied brutally to return the money. Also, was not advised to connect anyone at Lenova directly.

                            Since, I had paid the total amount, I was left with no choice to wait till 14th November.

                            I tried calling Mr. Shakthivel on 14th November and his mobile was switched off and I tried reaching him through land line phone at his office. To my surprise, I’m hearing that Mr. Shakthivel has gone on leave and would return after few days. Tried speaking with someone called Mr. Ram at their office but in vain as he barely spoke in English / Tamil and that too with rude tone. Why did he again lie to me that the system would reach on 14th November?

                            With all efforts, I got hold of Mr. Kushal, owner of dot com brand on 14th November and escalated the matter. He wanted time till 16th November to deliver the system as he is expecting same from Bangalore. I had demanded for my money back if the system doesn’t reach me on 16th November, for which he agreed.

                            On 16th November, after several phone calls, I reached Mr. Kushal on his phone. He wanted the order number to follow up on delivery, which was sent to his phone via sms and there comes a reply that I would receive the system at my residence after 7.pm. I did receive a call at 6.pm and informed that my system has reached their showroom and wanted my permission to upgrade RAM ( I had asked for an additional 2GB RAM). I was unsure and rushed to their showroom to check the system personally. There I see my lenova system in the box and was relieved. I gave permission to upgrade my RAM, they made me wait for 1 hour and then confessed that the model being new, the technician couldn’t upgrade it immediately and they need support from lenova technical centre for the same. I was asked to go back home and the promise again to deliver the system at home next day morning.

                            On 17th November, I waited till 4.pm and no update from them. When I followed up again, I was told that the system would reach by 6.pm. As usual, no update till 6.pm and I followed up again to know the status and received my system at home finally at 7.pm. service engineer took 2 hours to set it up, however couldn’t find a way to activate TV Tuner. He confessed he couldn’t address the issue and would send someone senior.

                            On 18th November, there’s comes a senior engineer at 12noon and struggled till 3.pm and agreed that he couldn’t resolve the issue and wanted some more time. At 6.pm, I receive a call from lenova contact centre and the customer care member asks me if I logged any compliant. When I tried explaining the background, he said that he was unable to reach the service engineer number of dot com dealer, hence call came to me directly. I did follow up with dot com dealer and asked to connect with customer care immediately.

                            On 19th November, another service engineer from dot com dealer visits home and resolves the issue.

                            Today 24th November, I'm penning this experience because the RAM upgraded is not working properly, I’m getting blue screen problem since yesterday. My wireless headphone is yet to reach me, no update from them. I feeling low to call and shout at them again!

                            Is there anyone from lenova reading this, please make a note of your customer’s worst experience.

                            Recently, I bought a skull candy headset from dot com. Dot com sold me 2012 manufactured skull candy product price is Rs1, 200 and not working good. Dot com seller told me it has 1 year warranty. I went to dot com for replacement and they provided the address near choolaimedu for replacement.I went that to shop they told me we stopped doing services for dot com and skull candy. Again I went to dot com. they provided the address near to anna salai- Brand Eyes distributor pvt ltd, No 12 Vaibhav complex 4th floor, Smith road, Mount road, chennai - 600002.In this service center they told me dot com sold you very old head set. It was stopped long back. So there is no replacement. Hence dot com is worst in service and sell very old manufactured product.

                                      I have been haeashed from past 15 days as when ever I am calling to Lenovo Call Center they are telling that the request has been closed & the LCD has been replaced by the Service Center Engineer, where as there is nothing happen yet.

                                      Call Center Agent's are very annoying and always divert the case by giving the number of Service Center.
                                      Service Center people are ignoring the issues by saying that the case has not been assigned to them.

                                      I am really fade up of this service from Lenovo A feeling guilty on my decision of purchasing Lenovo product, I will make sure that none of my friend or relative should go for any of the Lenovo product in future.

                                      As usual now planing to register the case to "Consumer Forum".

                                      I am sure that this comment will not make any sense to my concern because a company who is not caring about the customer from direct sources, how come they will react to this comment.

                                      Please avoid using Lenovo Product's as it is a second serious issues I have come accross for the same brand.
                                      It's really shame to recommend Lenovo to someone.
                                      Please...please...please go for some other brand as Lenovo is getting worse day by day...
                                      I know how difficult it is when your laptop is of no use to you just after purchasing it a month ago.

                                      there are many other brand available in market of same configuration, please explore before buying.

                                      I totally agree with with your annoyance with customer care/Service center team, even i am victim of the same. My laptop is hardly 3 months old, paint is peeling off at hand rest place { first of its kind ] This is my 3rd laptop, i have never seen such an issue with any other laptop. Customer care/service team is more keen mint money out of this. Even a small kid can tell by seeing very low quality painting method been used, still they want to argue. Lat 1 month i am running behind service center to get there attention. I have started hating my laptop due to this.

                                        CS00015440, Model No.CS01061702 with a fresh new machine.

                                        Sir,

                                        The above referred machine was delivered to me on 14th Day of September 2011 bill no. 1697. Immediately on receipt of the same machine started problem in DVD ROM. The matter was referred to your Lenovo Customer care centre and their customer care executive registered a call to the authorised Lenovo service centre in Sarat Bose Road in Kolkata vide call no. [protected] to look into the matter. The Lenovo Service centre replaced the DVD Rom with a new one in order to solve the problem. But a day later the problem of DVD rom came in to play again. As a result another call was registered with the same call no. by me to the Lenovo customer care centre. Again the technician from the Service centre came and inspected the system thoroughly and detected problem in the MOTHERBOARD of the computer and told that as the machine is under warranty Lenovo would replace the motherboard.

                                        As the motherboard is the key part of the system & machine started showing problem in one or the other from the Very beginning, I apprehend I will not be able to operate a flawless machine unless you replace the existing machine with a fresh new one. You can collect detail information from the LENOVO SERVICE CENTRE in SARAT BOSE ROAD Kolkata.
                                        Please revert me with a mail with your positive response for better future customer relationship.
