I have a LG Microwave, Airconditioner, DVD player, fridge and washing machine. I reside in Pune. This feedback is to warn people in pune - not to buy any LG products as the LG service in Pune is very very bad. Their products are good but service is terrible in Pune.
Their service engineers are openly telling customers that since they get paid only 30 Rs per call, they are not intrested in attending to customers on time. On an average, they take three days or more to come after lodging a complaint, in some cases, they have not even come after 7 days.
Since LG does not pay them, they are cheating the company. So if any engineer comes to you, ask him to lodge a fake warranty claim and they will happily do so in someone else's name and give you the part at a 50% discount. They routinely do this for all LG products in Pune. Its surprising how LG does not know this as almost all their senior Engineers are involved in this racket for atleast two to three years now.
All the engineers have also told me that the company takes very long to send the parts needed and they are helpless on that issue. LG has taken more than 15 days to source any part, on more than 4 occasions, in the last two years that I have needed a part.
Though they have changed their service franchisee recently, about 2-3 months ago, the new service franchisee is equally bad if not worse.
While in Mumbai, the LG service was good, but their service in pune is really very bad. So while their products are good, if they need service in Pune - may god help you.

LG — AMC service not provided
I had renewed the AMC for my 29” TV through Siddhivinayak Electonics (Goregaon,Mumbai) in April 2009. We had paid Cash to the service engineer and were informed that the AMC card would be received from the company. We have till date not received the AMC card. We have a reference number HLP HJ 01413 relating to the AMC provided by the Service Centre.I have given this reference number to the new Service centre (since Siddhivinayak Electronics is no longer an authorised LG service centre) and have also spoken to to Mr.Vishal (from the LG AMC dept tel[protected], written mail to Mr. Harish Suri, lodged complaints on the LG site but no action has been taken till date nor has anyone bother to get back to me on this. The original complaint was lodged on 20th Oct 2009.
LG Window Air Conditioner — Poor Response
Very poor response from M/s Sheen India, when i called; Mr.Naveen Tyagi denied for the service in the area Dilshad Garden - 110095 while website shows M/s Sheen India comes with in the area.LG/Air condition — No service provided for window AC
I have regulary called LG customer for providing me AC repair service but there is no response to my complaint even after following it up for six days regularlylg/window a.c — poor service of windows a.c

23-Mar-2012: After he took it, the driver realised that there was a fault with the wiring. It will give a shock if you connect. So the driver brought it back for your own safety !!! (Wonder what the technicians did for a week).
All these calls were made by me - not a single one was by EBR Enterprises.
Wonder why LG has such firms for service. Pathetic Service - is an understatement.
We will never buy LG products anymore.
