    I had submitted my LG Dvd Player which was totally dead to M/s Balaji Distributors, Kanchrapara, Dist. 24 Parganas, W.Bengal who are authorised dealers of M/s. LG Electronics, India on 23/03/2008. Firstly the technician from the Company advised me that the failure was in the Power Supply which would have to replaced. After two weeks when I contacted the dealer they said they couldn't identify the problem properly and need more time. When even after one month I didn't hear anuthing from them I conctacted them again. This time they told me that the technician from the company still couldn't identify the problem. He decided to replace the parts one after one ( without having a clue about which one is faulty ) till the problem is solved. In this process I will have to bear the cost of all the parts those will be replaced which may or may not be faulty. Considering the absurdity of the proposal the Dealer refused to undertake the repair. Now I am left with an unrepairable dead set. My question to LG is, is this what they call customer service ? Is this the quality of their technical people or should we call them quacks?

    My LG DVD Player Model:-DZ9311P, is providing me black & white reception instead of colour. The LG Service Provider wants to change whole PWB(PCB) Assambly and is charging Rs 1450/= for repleasement of the same which exists the NO:-DV9000MT1389D-6870R9800AA.
    Kindly Advice accordingly.

    Dear Sirs,
    I had called the LG authorised service repair centre for Bandra Mumbai. The individual by the name of Jai Prakash Mob No [protected] picked up my DVD saying that he would need to check the same at his workshop. The DVD was working fine for an hour or so and after that there was distortion in voice and picture. The same was purchased at Sony Mony at Vile Parle approx 3 years ago. The DVD would have not been used even for a total 30 days in the last 3 years or so.I have been making calls to Mr. Jai Prakash who picks up my phone at random and says that he is expecting the part from the company. After a fortnight of pestering him, he said that the part is not available and he will send the DVD back. He has yet to come and return the DVD. What is most surprising that an authorised Service Rep cannot repair the DVD. This is ridiculous. Will someone from LG look into this please.

      A DVD writer ideally reads and writes CD. I bought this LD DVD Writer for computer 6-7 months ago. One Day Out of the Blue it stopped working. Sicne it was in warranty period i gave it for servicing in the Authorised LG Servicing Station. Now the DVD reads a DVD Disc and writes a DVD Disc but to my surprise it does not read or write a CD. I went to servicing stations many times but unfortunatily they were not able to do anything and they said now we are sorry and we can't help you. I didn't pay to get such a kind of answer. If you promise something you should keep the promise. The writer is still in warranty period and I need to know how LG is going to deal with this. Thank You

      I have LG DVD/CD 16x Super Multi Rewriter (GSA-4167B). Its warranty period is over. Now a days I can't read or write any CD in it but it works completely with DVD's. All drivers are installed and updated. I can't work with CD's.

        Dear Sir
        I own a Reliance Prepaid LG handset with no.[protected] which is dead due to a virus attack on the moter board. So, I wanted to transfer the number to a new LG Reliance handset and approached the authorised dealer situated in NSR Road, Saibaba Colony, Coimbatore. They said that the transfer could be done only online since the set is not working.They also asked for ID and ADDRESS PROOF ALONG WITH THE DEFECTIVE PHONE NO. I was able to provide them with a copy of my PAN card and also the ID card of the college in which I am a lecturer. That card contains only my landline BSNL no. So, please arrange for transfer of my old number SINCE I HAVE A TALKTIME BALANCE OF MORE THAN Rs.1000/- and my validity extends to DEC 2008.

          sir,
          i have purchased an split airconditioner on 19th arpril 2008 from your sargum dealer (jamshedpur).But the airconditioner's is not working properly .Because the airconditioner's cooling system is poor your dealer and your service center's any persons are not taking responce i am suffering from one and half month .if i complain it to dealer they say we are not responsible for any thing complain it to the service center and if i complain it to service center they says complain it to dealer .i am tierd of complainig kindly solve my problem or replace my airconditioners.

            Respected Sir,

            i am resident of Ajmer(RAJTHAN) . i have almost all LG HOME APPLIANCE PRODUCT. But i am not satisfied with LG authorised service centre situated at Shashtri Nagar Lohagal Road Ajmer. The officer there i.e. Vijay Yadav is mannerless . This person has no way of talking to the customer and abuses me.



            I went to him for the repair of my DVD Player. He said that the video card(MPEG) of the DVD player is damaged and it will be changed and he gave me three different prices at 3 different time i.e. Rs.870 in morning, Rs.823 in evening and Rs.1039 next day.I got my DVD repair for Rs.823(Video Card)+125(Service Charge). Then he denied me of giving me the bill and warrenty card.



            I request you to please took some serious action towards him and reply the same to me. Otherwise i will be complaning in CONSUMER FORUM.

              I bought this phone at the Reliance center, Galleria Mkt, DLF Ph-4, Gurgaon this afternoon (28/5/2008) and followed all instructions diligently. I was asuured by the salesman Mr. Lokesh that the phone will start working for making local calls by this evening, and for STD calls by tommorow afternoon. It is now 9:00 Pm and the phone shows an error " Programming Unsuccessful". Reliance Customer Care ( Ph #[protected] say this number is not yet re-allocated as per their records. What do I do ?

                I have lodged one request for the installation of front loading fully automatic washing machine with no. W8C52005060 on 20/05/08, but till date no action has been taken up.
                When I called up againon[protected], I was told by customer service agent Mr. Hussain that they do not entertain installation of fully automatic front loading washing machine.

                Why have I purchased this machine then?

                I lodged one request to repair my lg (cdma)phone on aug 11th 2008.They took 3days to get it repaired, with 3months warranty.(the problem "is no power on")later even before the date of warranty is completed, the same problem repeated.so we again gave it for repair.They are taking 2weeks time to get it repaired.even today they have not delivered it.when we approach them regarding this, they are behaving very rudely.IS IT THE WAY TO TREAT THE CUSTOMERS?                 LG being a popular brand has no responsibility for their customer. we have logged complaint abut 3 to 4 times and each time we were provided with the complaint number with no solution Moreover every time they say that they will contact us with in 24 hours and i have been waiting from last 96 hours for the call.

                I am a very pissed off customer writing to express my dismay at how irresponsible LG's customer service has been for the past month/ month and a half. It all started off as a normal complaint regarding my air conditioner for which I had to call them several times since no one turned up on the day following my complaints. Finally, someone actually did visit for a diagnosis and informed that the coil inside the unit had to be replaced and that they would be sending an engineer/service executive the following day. Again, as usual, no engineer ever came. Out of sheer exasperation, I made a call again to LG's customer service only to find that the complaint had been closed! What the hell? After a few minutes of being on hold and complaining to the person on the other end, I was again told someone would be visiting within the next 24 hours or so, which, again never happened. I am sick of calling them again and again and wish they do something they ought to do just for the sake of courtesy.

                  I logged a complaint in LG about my remote of AC not working. When engineer came he just changed the cells to check the remote. after checking the cells he told us that LG dont repair the remote and charged 225 as his fees. They Bloody cheated us. One can always check remote by changing cells. Why did they send engineer to us, just to charge Rs. 225.
                  I agree with the above complaint. LG simply CHEATS people. Their after sale service is
                  horrible. I have purchased one DVD player which worked only for 2-3 DVD and within
                  a time of 1 months it stopped working and not playing any DVDs. The irony of the situation is
                  the LG service man is the friend of the dealer. So he says that it is working and they returned my
                  player as it is without repairing. On repeated asking LG company, they did not responded to the
                  complaint. I have completely been cheated by LG company. They are neither repairing it nor
                  replacing it. It is still in the warranty period.

                  After selling the product they simply don't care.
                  I suggest no one should buy LG products any more. They simply harass.

                      I had brought Lg 26 inch LCD TV almost 4 months back. There is serious problem with my TV.
                      It is giving back current in AV in put and burnt my TATA SKY Digi box.
                      After replacement of AV board in TV it worked fine for amost 15 days.
                      Again same problem occured. It took more 15 days for coming new board, mean while smps also bursted. Yet SMPS is not replaced.
                      When i had asked for stand by TV, Mr. Neelesh from LG directly refused to give stand by tv as he is telling that There is some problem with my supply or Tata sky. due this tv back currentn my another tv having another tata sky connection parallel with this tv has also got problem with av card and digibox also.
                      It seems all has 0ccured due to lg power smps.

                      And i am fed up with branch service. From call center they had provided me no. of Mr. Parag Desai ([protected]) but after talking with him he told he will talk with dealer but when i tried to contact him at evening he is just not receiving my call . After constant giving him call he rejected my call. after 5 mins he switched off his mobile.

                      I am waithing for tomorrow or else I am going to Consumer Court.

                      AT LAST AFTER LONG HOT TELE TALK WITH CALL CENTER AND 8 REMINDERS TO VADODARA SERVICE CENTER BY CALL CENTER THEY HAD REPLACED MY TV'S SMPS AND AV BOARD FROM THEIR STANDBY TV.

                      BUT THE THING IS THE SERVICE CENTER OF VADODARA IS VERY WORST & MR. PARAG DESAI OF LG HAS TALKED VERY WORSTLY WITH ME.

                        I HAVE PURCHASED LG REFRIGERATOR ON 05/01/08.
                        BUT SINCE PURCHASING, IT IS CREATING THE PROBLEM OF NONCOOLING.FIRST TIME, LG PERSON HAS CLEANED DUCT OF THE REFRIGERATOR.
                        BUT IN WINTER IT WAS WORKING ALL RIGHT NOW IN SUUMER IT SHOWS THE ORIGINAL COLOUR AND STARTED THE NON COOLING.WE HAVE REPORTED THE COMLAINT AND SAME HAS BEEN ATTENDED.BUT THERE VRSION IS THIS, THE TUBE OF THE REFRIGERATOR IS BLOCKED .IT MUST BE CLEANED AND THEN GAS WILL BE FILLED.
                        THIS IS A CLEAR CUT PROBLEM OF QUALITY CONTROLE AT THE FACTORY.
                        LG IS SOMEWHAT GOOD IN SMALL CAPCITY REFRIGERATOR BUT IN LARGE CAP ITS PERFORMANCE IS VERY POOR.
                        I AM AGREE FOR THE SUGGESTED REMAIDY BUT THERE ASSURANCE FOE PROPER CLEANING IS NOT THERE AND THEY DONT HAVE ANY METHOD TO CLEAN THEN THE ASSUMTION.MY SUGGESTIN IS THIS, PL TAKE THIS REFRI TO COMPANY, AND CHECK ACCORDING THE ORIGINAL FACTORY PROCEDURE, SO THAT I DO NOT FACE PROBLEM IN NEAR FUTURE.

                          I purchased one 1.5 tonne Split Air conditioner on 24.05.2007 from L.P.Electronics, Cuttack, Orissa who is the authorized show room of LG company. the same dealer has a subsidiary named Laxmi Service Centre and it is the authorised service provider of L.G Company . The company has to provide four free services in a year ie, within the period of warranty. On repeated calls one service was provided on 05.12.2007 and thereafter no body listens to complaints. The warranty will expire three days hence. What should I do ?

                            i had purchased lg split on 20 feb, it had developed some problems, the same has been confirmed by lg tecnician and he told will replace the part in 2 days. I have complained 10 times but really surprised that no one is bothered. Its my new ac and such services is offered. my compl no. W8c51402064 dated -14 may 08, and another W8c52000381 dt.21-5-08. I hope some strict action is taken against LG. I want my mnoney back as its a new ac and developed the probelms so it is obvious it gonna create more problems in near future and by that time my warranty would have alredy been exprired. there are som many of my friends who are SUFFERING FROM LG PRODUCTS AS IT IS OF WORST QUALITY.

                              I have an Lg refrigerator which is approximately 2 years old purc chased from Jamnagars-Mahavir Electronics .since dec 2008 it started makind very much noice. we had logged complaint on 15.04.2008 .the complaint id was W8C41505267 which was going to be handled within 2 days of complaint but after so many follow ups and reminders your engineer came to us on 28.04.2008 and rectifed the problem.we were informed by Jamnagar dealer that the service charge would be Rs 250/- but the engineer charged Rs 335/-. He didn't replace any part of the refrigerator. me or my husband was not there at the time of his visit. my mother was there at home and she gava 335/- as your engineer told that min service charge is Rs 335/-. In addition to that he has not provided any bill or receipt of the same . We had complaint about the same when we received the call from your customer care and they promised to send the bill within some time but till date we have not received any bill. plz fix your chages structure and advice your engineer to arrange to provide us bill for his service.

                                On 19 th april my parents Dr. C.M. Mathews had complained to the LG service centre that the fridge. GRE362FRD was not working.A service man named Biju [protected] visited and diagnosed the complaint as a compressor problem. Took a recipt for Rs 100/ and said when the compressor comes he will repair it. Three weeks have passed and when I made a call to the toll free number (complaint no:S8C[protected] they said that the complaint was looked into and addressed!! I replied that the fridge still hasn't been repaired and repeated calls to BIJU received the answer that the compressor hasn't arrived yet. Any way two days back we got it repaired locally for the same price as quoted by the serviceman but with one year warranty.
                                I was the one instrumental in getting my parents to buy an LG refridgerator as their after sale service was good. Is this how one deals with customers? Anyway LG has lost a customer for good and definitely this experience will be passed onto others.

                                  Yesss... I am a postpaid customer and my bill reflect this 64611010 numer and was billed Rs.10/- for each in the 'SMS-Other' section. These are arond 40 and was charged Rs.383/- I never use any such number or service in my knowledge and called up the customer care to know about this and they said like that this charge i for downloads from the above said number. I wondered to know that I have downloaded??? never I downloaded (maybe my mobile is downloading such context as it went bored when I was not talkig... hahahaha or maybe receiving that sms itself considered a download?) this is really ridiculous.

                                  I've been receiving this message "Modelofday" from 6411001 since Dec.23, 2008 and being charged Re.1 for which I have not subscribed for. Logged several complaints at Airtel P.R.O. CENTRE AND COMPLAINT CELL as well as CUSTOMER CARE, every executive at these places give the same answer Sir we are sorry and weare logging a complaint for de - activating this service, Sir it will take 09 hours, Sir it will take 24 hours for this service to get de - activated. Everything seems possible but at Airtel after receiving these kind of false assurances, I am unable to understand whether I need to discontinue using their services.

                                    We purchased an AC one year back. However in the past one year despite our repeated requests we have been able to service our AC only once. From the past three weeks we have been trying to get our second service done but of no avail The customer service people just seem to be interested in generating complaint ids and request nos . Beyond that they are least bothered about what happens thereafter. The service center (Bhushan Services, andheri east) headed by mr unmesh has this uncanny ability of not picking up our calls.
                                    Last week the service center promised that they would send a executive this week. however on contacting the customer service they had apparently closed our service request. Wish i had purchased another company ac! Saying that the service is "pathetic " would be an understatement.

                                    But I want some Questions with L.G Service
                                    A:If L.G services always ready to charge amount then who is responsible to reimburse the waste of customer time.Is customer Value or amount are dust for that Brand ??
                                    B:If L.G Service Person are not responder then that was also a customer Fault.
                                    Please do something on my case if Any person are in L.G have responsibilities to resolve my issue otherwise I waste my 64000/- on that worst brand product but I am not agree to pay any amount for service that time only.

                                    LG / Home Theater — Service during Warranty time

                                    I bought my LG Hometheater model no. HT924SF worth Rs. 14000 before few months ago, it has service warrenty of 1 year and till the product is under warrenty, I got problem of DVD playing immediatly after 3 months of purchase, I register my complain to customer care they sent person but it was not done, I have register my compalin for more then 7 times from month of march once I personally took my Home theater to their workshop for few days but it was not done, I felt that either workshop peoples are not well equiped and educated or they try to resolve it whithout finding fault or Company fault ... Now I dont want to carry that DVD last time today I have register my complain to LG Customer Care for replacing it, and don t want to waste my futher valueable time to repair it ... Please let me know how can I claim on company to replace my DVD...

                                    A technician was sent from the company who visited my place on 12/1/2012 a technician Mr Senthil visited and said that the mother board has problem and he said the mother board have ordered it will come 2 or 3 days but I spoke to customer care at that time Mr shylash attend my call and he told the mother board come soon on some more days, Than the technician 18/01/2012 the mother board received and 19/01/2012 come to my home and fixed the mother board but not work after that he told SMBS has problem, after that I waited for some months and than I spoke to customer care at that time Mr shylash attend my call than I told to 2 months I wait but also the problem not solved,
                                    After on Pondicherry BALAJI ELECTRONICS manager Mr nagarajan given me a spare TV, than the SMBS received and 15/02/2012 but its not worked properly than another SMBS as fixed it is also not worked properly than 16/02/2012 took my tv to service center than they have updated some software he told now the tv is working the complaint closed, after I have shifted to my home villupuram, than I checked the TV on 2/3/2012 it does not work after that I call customer care Mr shylash in the 3 months I have faced 3 problems so I suggest to give a new TV replacement, I registered the the complaint on 2/03/2012 RNA[protected] on villupuram, after 3/3/2012 a technician Mr and than he checked the tv and told us same automatically on, off problem than I spoke to villupuram manager Mr raghu that I need a new tv replacement he also agree, And he told to wait for some more days, and every week I call him and ask about new a tv replacement, at time he told the formalities is going on, I spoke to Chennai service engineer Ms menaka also know my problem, I spoke to Mr raghu on 22/3/2012 he told to me your tv replacement is not approved so that u speak to Mr prabakaran while speaking with him he is not responding me properly, than I speak Mr Stephen he also agreed I will tell in this week, than I speak customer care Mr shylash also he also agreed, so I wait only 3 day .
                                    kindly I will request you to solve my problem sonly, other wise I have full evidence of complaint numbers, emails and audios and I will take this problem to consumer court..

                                    I fully AGREE with above. I have same experience with LG Refrigerator. I had problem during the one year warranty period. I had registered my complaint on 21st March. On 23rd, a technician visited and found that gas filling is required and they would take the fridge to their service center. No on came to pick up the fridge. After calling several times on the Customer Care no. and to the service center, finally they picked up it on 26th and verbally promised to return the same on 28th. After 28th, I have repeatedly called Customer Care and the Service Center but there is no proper answer. On 29th the service center promised to return the fridge on 30th morning. However, They have still not returned the fridge.

                                    Moreover, the service centre guys are not picking up phones. I have complained to Customer Care but they dont do any thing but say sorry and we will do follow up on priority.

                                    The LG Service Center in question is Digital Care, Ahmedabad.

                                      I bought LG refrigerator Model NO. GR- S592QLC, Serial No. J96-405KR00052 four yrs ago. It was working fine till june last year until one fine day the door of the refrigerator came out. I called the complaint center and the problem was rectified. But again after a week the same problem occurred and I complained again and again the problem was solved but this time the engineer Mr. D.S. Chauhan who came to attend the complaint call told us that we have to get the door replaced for which the approximate cost is Rs.10000/- and on the other hand he said that incase I take the Annual Maintainence Contract (AMC) the door will be replaced “free of cost” as it is covered in AMC contract. As we know that usually the AMC does not cover spare part replacement so I asked him in particular that are you sure door is covered under AMC and he asked us to be rest assured that the same will be done but after 15- 20 days of taking the contract. So, finally he sold the AMC to me at the cost of Rs 5400/-.

                                      The refrigerator was again working fine till about 2 months but then suddenly door came out again. This time I complained again but to my surprise I was told that MR. D.S. Chauhan has sold AMC to me on a wrong promise, changing of door was not covered in it. I felt cheated and called the Area Sales Manager, Mr. Arun Rawat- he was co-operative and said that he understand that AMC was sold on wrong promise and since nothing is written on the paper only help he can do is get the door repaired “free of cost”. OR buy new refrigerator and he will offer some discount on it. Mr Arun sent the engineer to take the door for repair after 14days and there was no responsibility taken to give the standby refrigator for the particular period.

                                      I am told that you have no spare parts available for this particular model as it is not in production any more.

                                      One representative of your company told me that there was fault in the design of the refrigerator (the door is made heavy) so I should not keep anything in the door. What kind of solution is this??

                                      Last time when I complained – the engineer was well prepared with the answer that he cannot help me on this issue anymore.

                                      As I would have known earlier I would have not bought the AMC rather I would have gone for new door. My AMC money is wasted and also incase LG found out that there is some problem with the design it should on its own recall the refrigerator and replaced. This is pure negligence of the company. WE the consumers have to pay for it and now there is nobody responding to my emails and nobody contacting us. I am left with a defective refrigerator.

                                      I keep getting emails from MR. Aseem Khan that MR. Janak Doshi will get in touch with me but no one contacts.

                                      Now the door is repaired atleast 4 times but still it keeps coming out, I cannot use it anymore. Last week when LG repaired the door I told them repair it only when you are sure that it will work otherwise give me new door. But as no spare parts are available for this particular model they assured me that the repaired door will work for long.

                                      Is LG responsible about this issue???? Is the life of their product so short??? If yes, then they should not commit any promise of good product. If LG feels responsible then why don’t they contact me.
