It's been almost 10 days since lodging of complaint for the LG FRONT LOADING washing machine door not locking causing the machine not functioning. Initially the service engineer did not come for days together.After pursuing with the authorised service centre the company sent an old spare part which ofcourse did not rectify the fault. Is this kind of after sales service this company is providing ? Should cosumers buy this kind of stuff ? Is this value for money spent a consumer ought to recieve ? I will not recommend anybody to buy this machine.

LG- FRONT LOADING WASHING MACHINE — W8C92000171- complaint no .. dated 20th sept 08

i would like to register a complaint against poor service of LG ...its been 3 weeks that i registered my comaplaint ...the technician said that motor of the washing machine needed to be replaced. meanwhile there was no feed back from LG SERVICE CENTRE AS TO HOW LONG ITwould take to attend my complaint.After several phone calls from my side i was told that motor was lying inthe godown as an when it come to our service centre we would get it fixed. I AM staying at vadsar which is about 20 kms from ahmedbad. This is not the first timethat i am facing the problem with poor LG service, in the past too in aplce like hydrabad it took 26 days for LG to attend my complaint. i would like someone to help me as i have given up and convinced not to buy any LG prodcut now on wards.
THERE appears to be no reaction from LG or similar complaints from IFB etc. Unless these comments
are automatically forwarded to respective companywebsites, such complaints oninternet will have no effect. Further complainants should quote a reference number for convenience of all.

Actually i wanted to buy a washing machine but find similar lacksidical attitude of every supplier. Maybe
National Consumers' Commission should make it obligatory for all manufacturers and suppliers to have a part of their website set apart for complaints.
my complaitn no.HFL8CC00069 at Fatimanagar Service ceter, PUNE, M.S (INDIA)dated[protected] three month ago my washing machine is front loaded 5.5 kg cost 20000 only for small part my machine is in scrab, service ceter owner Mr, .Rahav tell me when part come we will call For one part it take 3 month where is LG in anciant INDIA, who will solve this problem. have this process for service center they can't provide small part,

    From the day onre fridge is not working properly, Since that day
    i am reporting to the dealer, Dealer send his person & said that
    the setting is not proper &he done it according to him.Then also the fridge was not working properly.So we asked the dealer for the replacement, after that LG representative came &he told
    that thermostat the part which deceides the cooling is faulty.
    That means dealer have given deffective fridge to me .
    From last 3 months i am suffering everyday.
    I am now regretting my decision of trusting the LG brand.
    I also have objection on behaviour / language of LG representative with my mother.
    I am not ready to accept the defective refrigerator.
    Please help me to get Refund / Replacement of refrigerator.

    LG Refrigerator — Abnormal sounds from the refrigerator

    I brought a LG refrigrator and its not working properly. Despite of continiuos 6 days, nothing happened. LG Service is so bad and no one is responding. Don't buy any LG product.

      Sir

      Our educational Institute is Government Polytechnic College for women, Madurai-11. We bought 2 nos of LG 1.5 tonn air conditioner in Ambigai Airconditioner, Madurai, India on 31.10.2007 and warranty period of one year. For the past 3 months 2 nos of LG Aircon are not working. Both of them are in within warranty period. We gave complaints to Ambigai Airconditioners (Dealer of LG Aircon) more number of times. But there is no response from Ambigai Airconditioners (Dealer of LG Aircon). In our computer lab, Students are very difficult to do the computer practicals because 2 nos of LG Airconditions are not working. I request that kindly make necessary arrangements to service 2 nos of LG Airconditions as early as possible.

      I bought a split 1.5 ton AC from Vasanth & Co West tambaram. They said installation is free. Two guys came to my home after two days for installation and they checked my house. Then they said split is not possible in ur house buy window AC. I got shocked. I called LG for more than 10 times on that day no response. Finally one guy picked and I told him the issue. He said will send one expereniced guy to your house for feasibility. No reply after that. Still my AC lying in my house with out installation.

      LG — No response for warranty service

      For the past 10 day's i've admitting my complaint regarding my LG 240 litre refrigirator service. I've bought it on may 2011. Still it is in warranty period, but whenever i admit the complaint to customer care, they are saying that "complaint has been registered, our service eng. will come for service". I don't know when they'll come. 10 days have passed and daily as usual i'm admitting the complaint. Not ony Refrigirator, we have two LG Intello Air 1.5 ton in our home. Till now no free service was done and the warranty period was also ove but thank god, we didn't experience any problem with those A/C.

        Dear Sir / Madam



        I would like to share an absolute horrid experience I have had with one of your dealers M/S PanaVision at opera house.



        Let me inform you that Im an absolute LG customer, All 3 AC’s, Refrigerator, Microwave are all LG products.. We were just about to buy a 560 litre new refrigerator and a new LG washing machine( But now are in 2 minds)



        I have a common friend Mr.Rakesh Mehta who I spoke to install a 1 ton AC at my residence on Monday 14th ..Panavision the dealer was informed accordingly for the delivery. Monday passed, whole day my carpenters and electricians waited but no one turned up.. I was told that the delivery will be done at 1pm on tuesday 15th..once again my carpenters and electricians were present at my residence at 1pm.. I was told that the AC had left at 1230. From 2 pm till 6.30 pm I must have given 20 calls to find out and every time I was told they are just 5 mins away.



        The AC eventually landed at my residence at 7.30pm..I did not accept the delivery and send it back as I was totally disgusted with the delivery. On asking the loaders I was told that “ Our Boss fools the customers like this everytime and that we are also fed up of him” “ He thinks he does a favor on us by paying us Rs.3000/- as salary.



        When I called up the showroom no one responded to me, on asking them for dealership details I was told that “ We don’t know where we are working, and you can do what you want” Eventually I got hold of the owner one Mr.Rajeev Chawla who tells me that “if you don’t want the AC send it back and stop calling me up”.. Please note that this the 2nd time I have experienced this horrible service from the same person in the past.



        The trauma that me and my family have gone through is un imaginable.



        I think these guys are required to go through a complete course on customer service and customer training programme to improve their skills and know more on how to deal with customers who are their bread and butter.



        In these times of crises all over where one company is striving to better the other, these things do matter a lot. I know it would be extremely difficult, but would appreciate if you could look into this matter personally and pull up the concerned people.



        I would be highly obliged if you could kindly revert back to me favorably.

          Dear Sir,

          This is regarding my LG mobile, model No. KP220.

          I had bought this mobile 2 months back.
          But started facing the following problems after a week or two :

          1> Mobile getting discharged very soon
          2> When I put on charge, sometimes I get the message : "Battery Temperature Out Of Limit" and thereafter mobile shuts down
          3> If sometimes, it gets charged by any chance, gets discharged after a call or so.
          4> When the charge is low, screen becomes GREY

          I have shown my LG Handset at the Ameerpet Service Centre thrice.
          I wasted my time, energy and money on this.
          But they could do nothing.
          Sometimes I doubt what they have repaired.
          I feel like it was a complete waste of money.

          Request you to kindly take this forward and help me in getting the value for my money.

          I had purchased one L.G Make mobile phone model KP-220 from Croma center, Iscon, Ahmedabad on 27/09/2009 on 02/04/2009 Mobile was hanged and I had given it for service in Mishree communication (Authorised service center of L.G) at Ahmedabad on same day (02/04/09). They had not given me any stand by mobile after demanding. They replied that they have no spare mobile and they can’t provide mobile to every one. After two days on 04/05/09 I had received it back, after few days on 25/04/09 same problem occurred second time and I had given it for repair at same L.G service center. This time also I had demanded for stand by mobile but they had not provided. I had got it back on 28/04/2009. same day with-in 10 minutes same problem occurred I had given it back and got it back on same day. Now since last two day I am facing same problem. Now all ready more then 500 Rs. I had spent for petrol to go at L.G service center, now I can't want to spend any single paney for the same for under warranty mobile for such repeated problems. Now same problem occurred continuous and I can't want to repair this mobile. This is under warranty and I want free replacement of this mobile hand set or any other model of the company which is same or higher price from L.G. Other wise I will go to Grahak suraxa for complaint of the same. Also I want to mention that attitude of your service center persons are not good. Also they will keep our mobile for two days and we are handicap for these days. They are not providing any stand by mobile after demanding by us.

          LG MOBILE ,MODEL KP 220 — BAD SERVICE

          I bought my lg mobile handset on 01/02/2009 & after 3 months started some problem with headset.It was not working properly something like looscontacts .So i went the service centre in CHENNAI , Near Eaga Theatre .They told need to change the mother board & i waited around two months to get the board changed.And i got a new IMEI number for that .Then the next month i got problems with the dispaly & mobile is getting switched off automatically in all times .That time they told i need to change the mother board again.From the first service itself i got some problem with the front pannel .They destroyed the screw thred & the body is now shaking.But i went to different service centre & they changed my the display only & its working properly but they said mobile getting switched off is becos of the problem of front pannel with is damaged by technician.They told it will be chargd around rs 400 to change the front pannel.So im asking why i want to pay to change the front pannel .And my mobile is in warranty period.So pls take an immiediat action on this.Becos the service people made me very angry to LG Products & i want to get the front pannel replaced without any charge .

              I have intellowave 20 litters oven. Some 30 days back the glass turn table had broken. When I contacted the local LG Customer service at Tambaram chennai, I was told that they do not have stock at present may be contacted after a week.
              After a week I had approched the customer service, again I got the same reply "no stock".
              The oven is kept unused for more than a month now.
              Pl let me know where can I get the glass plate.

              Pl advise all your customer service centres to keep enough stock of spares hereafter.

                LG KP110 — Poor Battery Backup

                LG KP110 manual shows that it's talk time is about 4hours. They teals lye. This mobile have very very poor talk time & battery backup. I bought this mobile and now I am suffering. Be sure it's battery backup before you buy any LG mobile.

                  Our Television LG 21inch flatron 350W ctv, product code LG-CTV-RF-21Fc80E is not working properly.

                  my problem with LG started mid-Feb of this year. without reason the LG CTV RP-29FC1BL television bought Oct 31, 2007 from a reputable store here in the phil started to turn black and white and the screen began rolling!! i called up LG customer service and was told to get in touch with an authorized service center in qc. jhemma electronics told me to monitor the unit, it was march 14 when they first came to fix my unit..march 19 they came back because it rolled again. they wanted to pull out the chasis board for testing, jhemma took it out march 26 and it stay with them until april 8, they changed the vertical ic but when the technicians delivered and installed the chasis to everyone's surprise the screen started rolling right away!!! i then contacted LGE head ofc and they agreed to handle my concern. people from LGE came and pulled out the entire unit april 16. finally it was delivered april 25...and since then to this day may 6, 2009 my unit is still not working. sad but true, paid jhemma for check-up and fixing, paid LGE for the resistor or somethin including the handling fee BUT TV STILL NOT WORKING.

                  i will never again purchase an LG.

                    I bought a window AC 0f 1.5 ton capacity of LG make from Reliance Digital, Shipra Mall, Ghaziabad on 10-07-08. Model No LWA18G2DF1, Serial no of the product is 804NLBC014311. Reliance Digital charged me Rs. 600 for installation. I had asked why they were charging as high as rs. 600 hundred when other dealers are charging only Rs. 250 to Rs. 500 at the most. They told me that installation shall be done under supervision of highly experience technician and quality hassle free installation shall be ensured. The AC was installed at my house no mentioned above on 11-07-08 by. Reliance digital sent only a carpenter to installed the AC, who lacks the even basic knowledge of an electrician, did not follow the instruction given on the manual and could not give any answer to our query about the functions of the said AC. He hurriedly installed the unit and charged me extra Rs. 230 for wire and plug, despite I had already paid Rs. 600 for installation to charges to Reliance Digital. Please look in to it. I had contacted officials at Reliance Digital but they aere collous and not co-operative at all.

                      I purchased a new Washing Machine make LG from the dealer of LG products from M/s Kay Sons, Delhi Road, Sonipat in December'2007. I made a payment of Rs. 3000/- cash and remaining amount of Rs. 9, 000/- I got the product financed from M/s Bajaj Finance, the person of which Co. was available with the LG dealer. I submitted 9 (Nine) post dated cheques being EMI for balance payment. Next month i.e.in January'2008, first cheque was honoured by the financier in my bank, but next month the financier urged me to pay cash for that particulars month, because of some reasons, they could not present the cheque in the bank. However, I resisted it with the reasons, that if I have given them, why these people are hesitating to present the cheques in the bank, where as I was having sufficient amount in my a/c. Till date, also I have sufficient funds in my a/c in the bank. Any way that month i.e. in Jan'2008, I gave them Rs. 1001/- cash and obtained the Cash Rt.. But subsequently next month, they again phoned at my residence and asked us to pay cash again, because as per their statement they were unable to present the cheque in the bank without assigning any reason. I strongly opposed, but frequently, they have been making calls to my residence. Since I am an employee of Defence and working in Ordinance Depot, Shakur Basti, Delhi and due to harrasment made by the financier i.e. M/s Bajaj Finance, we are frustrated very much and now if in future they people are not presenting the cheques in my banker and also if they would again harass us and insist us to pay cash, I will be forced to lodge an FIR against them and also file a suit in Distt. Consumer Forum, Sonipat and subsequently, if any adverse action is taken against Bajaj Finance Co. I will not withdraw my complaint in any case.

                        This is Regarding the poor qualtiy & service of Lg Refigrtors. I bught LG GL-528YTX4 on 28.6.08. The machine was not cooling effectively so we contacted the cusotmer care. Compalint ID:-N8C63001539 Ther were some defects in the machine so we were told that it could take 7 days to get the machine replaced form the company. we contacted the dealer & got the machine changed. The Second Piece Send was Scratched so it was again returned. We were sent the 3rd Piece which was again dented & scratced. One week had passed since all this was going on. We got our money refunded & bought LG 528YLQ4 from another LG Dealer on 6.7.08. Agian there are problems with this machine also. Complaint ID:-N8C70800045 . the temprature as checked by LG Engineer was 14 Degrees. I had contacted Lg customer service several times & also written mails to lg customer care. Also had an assurance from LG Branch service incarge. I was provided some telephone nos of area service inchage but either the nos are wrong or the contact persons are unavailable. I am surprised to see the quality of Premium Refigrator of the larget selling refirator company in India.

                          On 17th dec, I bought one split room

                          will be immediately replaced with

                          From the very first day of

                          Center, had been contacted and the

                          people didn't able to rectify it, but

                          they are able to completely ruin it .
                          Now I shall not give any person to

                            I would like to introduce my self as a most dissatisfied owner of LG window AC and every

                            day am suffering with your AC & Technicians, i have bought this machine 14/03/2006 & got

                            it installed it worked well only for 6 months after that there was no cooling effect, it was

                            taken to your workshop & got it back but still the was no much of cooling effect, after

                            warranty Now am in AMC for the past 1.3 years, when again i had compliant about the

                            cooling problem they have taken the machine to work shop stating that there was a GAS

                            leak when they fitted back I could not feel much of cooling effect, yesterday you

                            Technician visited & replaced the fan motor but no improvement.

                            Suddenly I had a doubt & checked the POWER reading am Shocked to see the meter

                            reading i am going to pay 5000 rupees instead of 1500 rupees, , please Replace the Machine With a New

                              My complaint No. W8C62702596 on 27 June 2008 with LG Customer Care Centre telephone no. 39010909.
                              LG’s top loading washing machine Model TurboWonder 6.0 kg. WFT7012EN has serious design problem in the folding lid of the machine.
                              In June 2007 the machine was not working & the mechanic inspected the machine after lodging the complaint. He informed that the lid was faulty & had to be replaced & the lid was replaced on 3 July 2007 at cost plus the mechanic’s charges.
                              Again in June 2008 the machine stopped working & I lodged My complaint No. W8C62702596 on 27 June 2008 with LG Customer Care Centre on telephone no. 39010909. This time also the mechanic inspected the machine on 28 June 2008 & again informed that the lid is faulty & had to be replaced. He informed that he will place the order & come to replace the lid when it arrives from Noida. As no one came till 3 July 2008, I contacted LG Customer Care Centre telephone no. 39010909 & was asked to contact LG’s Area Service Centre at Vakola in Mumbai on telephone no. 32962813 / 14. I contacted there on 3.7.2008 7 spoke to one Mr Santosh, who informed that they have informed LG for sending the lid & he will follow-up for early delivery as I informed that it is very difficult to manage home without the washing machine during rainy season.
                              As on 5.7.2008 the lid was not replaced, I had to contact LG Customer Care Centre telephone no. 39010909 & spoke to one Ms Agnes at 16:12 to whom I complained about no one at United Services Area Service Centre at Vakola was taking telephone calls. My call was getting thru & only the music was playing & it was being disconnected every time. Therefore, I tried to contacted Mr Ankur Doshi, Area Service Incharge on mobile no. [protected], but it was coming busy & then became unavailable.
                              I feel that LG’s top loading washing machine Model TurboWonder 6.0 kg. WFT7012EN has serious design problem in the folding lid of the machine, requiring replacement of the lid every year.
                              Why should customer keep paying LG India the cost of its faulty lid plus the mechanic’s charges each year? The lid was not broken last year & this year too it is also not broken, then how come the lid is causing the washing machine not to work?

                                I bought a T.V eight months ago and there is a problem in the colour and sound. On continous compaints the service engineer came and did dry soldering but still the problem was present. He said he will come and change the I.C but it has been 5 days no one has come to attend the complain and there is no communication from LG side. We are repeatdly telling them to replace the T.V with the new one as so many problems are present. They are not ready to do so also

                                    The experience which I had with the service of my washing machine, has been so horrendous that it has forced me to do start a campaign the nature of which I am not comfortable myself.

                                    I Dr Pramod Kumar, consulatnt with Hindalco Hospital of the Aditya birla group, had bought a fully automatic washing machine two years back from the local authorised dealer Ms RAJA RAM VINOD KUMARin Renukoot.The machine was running fine, but just in case as both me and wife are busy consultants, we requested for a routine service as the clothes too were not getting cleaned properly. The engineer came home and checked and concluded every thing was fine a routine check up would fine tune the whole system.
                                    The machine was deposited with the service center in October 07. It has been a saga of sheer neglience, utterly callous attitude of the service center, and that too with some one they know very well, (renukoot is not a big town). I shudder to think what would happen to lesser mortals and not to my surprise I found many other sufferrers too, but then they thought fighting would futher jeopardise their chances of getting the machines rerpaired, and sending the machine to varanasi was a costly proposition.

                                    I was informed after three months despite repeated reminder that the machine has been checked and found OK and will be sent to my residence when ever a suitable transport is arranged. the after few weeks, I was told that the system has been checked, and needs to be reviewed by the senior company engineer. A few more weeks passed and then I was told that every thing is fine. And then the shocker few weeks back.The PC of the system has conked and that was found after the servicing engineer had taken the machine to his house and observed that the machine actually stopped MID WAY . This was never the problem when the machine was sent for repairs. And 9 months, I am told that I will have to pay 4000 Rs for the new kit and then it would be repaired.
                                    i tolerated even that, as my old mom was finding it difficult to keep with the job at home.But it has been two months, now and the kit which has been urgently indented, has not arrived. Finally I have brought the old machine back, and use it as a water tank, and the local washer man, rinses clothes in it.

                                    I have already spoken on the issue on in the weekly meeting of the Rotary club(being the current secreatry and a MPHF) and moved a resolution asking all members to abstain from LG products. The GM purchase has stalled all enquiries for LG prodcuts and my brother who heads the electrical department of Hindalco, has already instructed the his staff to stop all LG prodcuts usage. the local IMA branch, where also I am the secreatry, the matter was highlighted and the issue of ill treatment to doctors, who are one of the staunchest supporters of this brand was discussed. I have already requested the local dealer that he should give a rented space in front of his show rrom where I will display this unique machinery, and if he disagrees he will be getting no help inthe next mela which he organises.

                                    Lest you beleive I am a disgruntled customers. Remember the profession that I come from. And just for records I own two LGACs, microwave, mobile handsets, TV- LCD,

                                    Campaign started by you against a multinational company is a welcom step. It is real GANDHIGIRI. I can understand your mental agony that after giving hard earned money, you yielded nothing except series of problems, lossess and mental agony which is not computable in terms of money. I am having similar experience with my SAMSUNG laser printer model SX 4100. First dealer cheated me by charging high and not provinding me the extra toner refill cartige under the prevailing scheme. Thereafter piece so sold to me was defective. All my efforts went in deaf ears/vain. I appreciate the way you are fighting effectively without weapons . Good luck for a good mission.
