I mohd rafiq, had purchased a lg flat slim model no 29fg2rge ctv on 12th january, 2008 from ajanta electronics, sakinaka, mumbai. The tv was faulty having patches which on complaint the dealer got it replaced but the replaced tv too consisted of the same problem which then the dealer forwarded to the company.


A technician was sent from the company who visited my place and adjusted some yoke in the tv which was of no use and indeed the patches increased to the worst .Then the tv got replaced by the company on 12th february, 2008.The replaced tv had the same problem on which i asked for a senior engineers assistance, to which a technician mr rajbhar visited and said that he would send his senior to see the problem .A senior engineer mr. Singh visited my place after 2-3 days and to my surprise he explained me the difference between a mercedes car and a maruticar .It was really great to know that you have people who can explain such things rather than what their work is, he assured and promised me of inquiring whether the same problem occurs in other tvs and would call me, but he dint returned even a call.
The other technician i.E. Mr rajbhar said to me that your tv is cheap therefore it has such low picture quality which he said in front of the dealer. Is it that you make big promises about your globally renowned products that are said to be best in class and of the highest quality which your own technicians consider to be a cheap product.
Now i too think that your senior engineer and technician were correct about the quality of your product.
By now i am fed up of your cheap quality of service and product .I even called up the mumbai branch manager mr. Ankur joshi (Mobile no. [protected]) on 11th april, 2008 who assured me of returning back a call for a feedback and said that, "i know my job". And now even after 4 days i understand how much he knows about his job and on what basis lg appoints responsible people that too in customer services.
I am totally frustrated and exhausted by this sort of irresponsible and irritable behaviour of your technicians, senior engineer, service manager and dealer.The dealer even insist me on getting other brands. You make big promises about the quality charter, your customer services, responses and quality products and even the 6 sigma's.
At the end i would like to say that i want a refund in a week or else i would to my dissatisfaction would hav to go to consumer guidance society and other such organisation to put a light on your customes services and your commitment to excellence and quality as mentioned in your advertisements and booklets.
I hope to notice some response or action as soon as possible

Hello Sir/Madam,

I'm disappointed, to say the least, at the height o[censored]nprofessional ism and irresponsible behavior of your service franchise in NaviMumbai (Shree Electronics). They are just too negligent about the time lines provided to the customers and have a very weird attitude of taking every customer query/complaint very lightly.

There is utter lack of promptness in every respect of their work. I have been assured of my A/C getting repaired for the past fortnight and till date that night hasn't arrived!!! Everyday I'm given an assurance of the needful being done within the next 1 or 2hours!!! I really fail to understand the clock these people follow because those 2hours haven't completed, I guess, for the past 15days!!!

I can give you atleast 10 more testimonies (ofcourse negative) from my area itself regarding the "HOPELESS" service provided by the said franchise. To be very frank, I haven't found a single satisfied customer, atleast from my locality, speaking anything positive about this franchise!

It is really a pity on your part that such a reputed company like LG gives its service franchise to such highly unethical and unprofessional people. And I'm not exaggerating, if the same situation persists for few more days, I really doubt people will ever buy any LG product not because of the quality of the product but because of the terrible after sales support!

After days of long and unfruitful wait, I have copied a mail to the Consumer Forum, Mumbai and they have assured me of sending a legal notice to your franchise (Shree Electronics) by Monday, i.e. 19th April, 2010. Hope to get a better service from you henceforth!!!

LG Lsa 6cw2ve / An60uv — Compressor Failure and NO RESPONSE

Complaint No. C[protected] lodged on 17 th April 2010.
Was told that technician will call within 24hrs, but there has been no response, all calls have been made by me. I have been calling again and agian and i get the same response we will call you back.
Authorised technicians were also called by us and nobody is taking the initiative to look into the complaint.
The Unit was purchased on 19-12-09 and the compressor has failed within such a short period of time.
When the company at time of purchase promises that any complaint will be attended to and parts will be replaced within 72 hrs, then why is the delay and why isnt there a response? I want my part replaced at the earliest.

LG Ac Model Bo3 - Ch No.905lpjkooo233 — AC OUT OF ORDER -NOT ATTENDED SINCE 14 DAYS.-9TH APRIL TO 21ST APRIL

On 8/4/2010 the above said AC was out of order and the complete power line was dripped.

During these days one Service Man had come and inspected the unit and identified the mistake.

LG 230 Ltr Fridge — no one came to install fridge

Last week I had purchased 230 ltr lg fridge, but no one has come from company service to give demo. The warranty is still pending as it has to be signed by company representative but where is he?

LG 1.5 TON AC 5CW MODEL — POOR AFTER SALES SERVICE BY LG and MANUFACTURING DEFECT IN PRODUCT

I am writing this as a very unfortunate customer, since I bought LG AC. I purchased LG AC (split Ac - model- 5CW) in place of SAMSUNG (which i really want to purchase) at RATNA COOLS PVT LTD in T. NAGAR CHENNAI and got it installed on 02/03/10. Now, i have problem with remote control. i could not operate AC without remote at all. So i registered a complaint on 13/04/2010 and was given a complaint number C[protected]. A technician checked and wanted to replace display unit and he did not came back till today. it is more two weeks after the problem was not rectified at all.

Every time we call the call centre they give a new complaint number but of no use to us.

It is not even two months after purchase, we are getting different problems with LG AC product, due to manufacturing defects, last month also we had noise problem and after several calls and after assurance by company through email, service personnel responded very slowly.

While purchase we were assured WORLD CLASS best service will be given by LG. But in practical we are getting VERY POOR service and seldom response for complaints.

What ever we complaint they never bother and never take any action.

After going through this very unfortunate sequence of events, I have now decided not to use LG Brand in any form nor I would recommend this Brand to others ( lost trust in LG franchisees and LG brand name). i learnt lesson not to BUY ANY LG PRODUCT AT ALL.

i am amazed we bought LG AC in this hot summer for COMFORT or DISCOMFORT?

i am really tired of making calls to call centre many times. They just neglect feeling of customers.

A ROOM AIR CONDITIONER OF ONE-TON CAPACITY WAS PURCHASED UNDER THE SCHEME OF LG CRICKET WORLD CUP 2004. M/S. LG GIVEN SEVEN-YEAR WARRANTY ON THE ABOVE AC. THE AC HAS PERFORMED FAULTLESSLY TILL RECENTLY.

A DEFECT WAS DEVELOPED AND THE SAME WAS REPORTED AT CUSTOMER CARE COMPLAINT NO. [protected] ON 17.4.2010. WITH THE REGULAR FOLLOW UP YOUR UNTRAINED PERSON VISITED MY PREMISES - WZ 65B, RAJ NAGAR-II, PALAM COLONY, NEW DELHI-1110045 ON 24.04.2010 (AFTER 7 DAYS). THE UNTRAINED TECHNICIAN COULD NOT RECTIFY THE FAULT AND ON ONE PRETEXT OR THE OTHER TRIED TO CONVINCE THAT ROOM AC HAS NO DEFECT. IT WAS GIVEN IN WRITING THAT DUE TO VENTILATION PROBLEM AND POWER FLUCTUATION, AC IS NOT PERFORMING/OPERATING.

I AM A PRIDE CUSTOMER OF LG FROM THE LAST MORE THAN 6 YEARS AND I BETREATED IN UNETHINICAL MANNER BY THE LG UNTRAINED TECHNICIAN. THE DEFECT IN THE ROOM AC WAS AS IT IS AND I WAS MADE TO SUFFER FOR MORE THAN 7 DAYS DURING EXTREME SUMMER SEASON. HAVING NO RESCUE, I FURTHER APPROACHED CUSTOMER CARE AND OTHER OFFICIALS OF LG TO HELP ME.

I MADE TO PURSUE YOUR DIFFERENT QUARTERS AND REQUEST THEM HUMBLY TO RECTIFY THE FAULT OF THE ROOM AC. FINALLY A CALL WAS RECEIVED FROM YOUR SERVICE DEALER M/S. UNIQUE ENTERNATIONAL – SH J D VERMA, Mobile No. [protected]. WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED THAT THEY ARE DEPUTING THEIR PERSON TO COLLECT THE ROOM AC TO THEIR WORK SHOP FOR PROPER CHECK UP AND RECTIFICATION OF FAULT. THE ROOM AC WAS KEPT FOR TWO DAYS IN THE WORK SHOP AND AFTERWORDS WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED THAT THEY HAVE RECTIFIED THE FAULT. IT WAS ALSO INFORMED THAT DUE TO LEAKAGE IN GAS, THE COMPRESSURE WAS GETTING OVER HEATED AND TRIPPING FREQUENTLY ( AFTER 20-30 MINUTES). ALTHOUGH NO SUCH INFORMATION WAS GIVEN TO US BY THE DEALER THAT THEY ARE REMOVING THE LEAKAGE OF GAS. THE FAULTS IDENTIFIED BY THE TECHNICIAN AND BY WORKSHOP TECHNICIANS ARE DIFFERENT.

YOUR SERVICE DEALER M/S. UNIQUE ENTERNATIONAL INFORMED ON 28.04.2010 AT ABOUT 3.30 PM THAT ROOM AC IS WORKING PERFECTLY, SO THEY ARE SHIFTING THE SAME AT THE PREMISES. THEY ALSO INFORMED THAT A BILL OF RS. 1611/- SHALL BE PAID FOR RECTIFICATION OF DEFECT.

ROOM AC WAS PLACED IN POSITION AT ABOUT 5 PM ON 28.04.2010 AND THE TECHNICIAN LEFT THE PLACE AFTER SAYING THAT IT IS IN WORKING CONDITION. ON REACHING HOME AT ABOUT 7.30 PM I SWITCHED ON THE ROOM AC. IT WAS ASTONISHING TO NOTE THAT THE ROOM AC TRIPPED WITHIN 25 MINUTES AND IT WAS NOT WORKING AT ALL.

THE SERVICE DEALER CALLED ME TO CONFIRM MY AVAILABILITY AT HOME SO THAT THEY CAN DEPUTE THEIR PERSON TO COLLECT THE PAYMENT AGAINST THE BILL. THE SERVICE DEALER WAS INFORMED THAT ROOM AC IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY AND THE DEFECT IS NOT ATTENDED.

NOW, I AM HELPLESS AND UNABLE TO UNDERSTAND THAT TO WHOM I SHOULD APPROACH TO GET THE DEFECT RECTIFIED OF THE ROOM AC. IN MY OPINION I FEEL THAT ABOVE MAY BE SENT TO YOUR HON’BLE MANAGING DIRECTOR, MR. MOON B SHIN ALSO.

LG / Side By Side Door Refrigerator — irresponsibility in installation

1. I had purchased a LG side by side door refrigerator from home town store at GIP, NOIDA on 08 May 2010. The fridge was delivered on 10th May10. I was informed that an engineer would call up for installation. No one called up. I checked from LG helpline on the issue. I was amazed to learn when I was told that dont believe dealers what they tell you. The refrigerator would be installed only if I put a complaint. This is outrageous. This complaint was registered at about 1500 hrs on 10th May 10. I did the networking and located the engineer at NOIDA to get the fridge switched on.

2. I was told that the RO Plant connection would be done on morning of 11 May10. No one has responded. On finding out I am told to approach my RO Service provider.

3. I had a perceived high image of LG. I am sorry to put on record that the response has been sad.

LG Room AC — Poor LG service and poor quality of products

Hi,

My Room AC stopped working and I complained to the Customer care on 24-Apr-2010 which is 27 days before. The complaint number is C[protected]. I am so dissappointed that I have never experienced such a worst service in my lifetime with any products. In the 27 days I had atleast called the Customer care 20 times, The area service centre Whisen Enterprises, Tambaram, Chennai 20 times, The Branch General Manager Mr. Stephen 5-6 times and Service area incharge Mr. Srinivasan couple of times but till now my AC is not repaired. Whenever I call they say my AC will be repaired and fixed today only. If I call in the evening they say morning I will get it, if I call in the morning they say evening. Its been more than 15 days they have taken the unit from my home to service centre and everyday same story.

I have never seen such a bad sercie centre like Whisen enterprises in my lifetime. they just dont care about people and they dont bother do any service. On top of it most of the times they dont attend the call. The phone keeps ringing (both mobile and landline).

I have totaly 2 LG ACs at home and one year back the other AC had a problem with the compressor. It was in the warranty and I and my brother had to followup with the service centre and customer care for 3 months to get it replaced. Now there is another problem.

I am wondering how can they have such a irresponsible people in service. I feel I am punished for buying LG products.This GOOD experience thought me a lesson for buying LG products.

LG Electronics — Poor Service & Defective handset

Hello,

I had purchased LG handset GB 125 on 22 Feb' 10 from Hypercity, vashi. I had pointed out a defect to the retailer that when I open the cellphone, it is not smooth being a flap phone. There was some obstruction while opening it. I was informed that it was LG engineering and it is on all phones.
Within 2 months the phone broke into 2 pieces. I'm using flap phones from years and never had this problem. I raised a complaint in LG website where representative called me after 1 week to ask for the problem. he guided me to visit LG service center.
I visited LG service center where I believe that was the worst customer service experience I have got so far. The service center was at Borivali West named Grace Tele Service. I was told to pay Rs 541/- for repairs. I dont understand...I'm under warranty and also this is a manufacturing fault from LG, yet I have to pay. the dealer proactively says that you may have dropped the phone which might have done this. They dont even care to research their product and give judgement that hurts sentiments of he customers
I have paid Rs 541/- whereas the phone costs Rs 1990/-. I have been a very dissatisfied customer of LG. My family n friends have always purchased products of LG but now my perception has changed and I will change theirs too. You can reach me at [protected] to get more details

LG Electronics — Think twice when you buy LG products

I have bought LG split A/c in April last year and experienced a low performance after six month. Hence the unit was repeatedly serviced by the LG technician. But none of the free service has identified the problem. But to my surprise at the thirteenth month (just crossed a warranty period) the service person says it needs to fill gas and that's my expense.

I have made couple of complaints on this. And I felt very disappointed that all my complaints were closed without attending reason stating Address not found and unable to reach by phone. How come all the previous service was attended?

Sorry to say this, LG customer care needs much improvement in understanding & interpreting the customer complaints!

Till date no response from LG!!

At the end of the day We as customer bear all the expenses. !! Its a fate!!!
