I mohd rafiq, had purchased a lg flat slim model no 29fg2rge ctv on 12th january, 2008 from ajanta electronics, sakinaka, mumbai. The tv was faulty having patches which on complaint the dealer got it replaced but the replaced tv too consisted of the same problem which then the dealer forwarded to the company.


A technician was sent from the company who visited my place and adjusted some yoke in the tv which was of no use and indeed the patches increased to the worst .Then the tv got replaced by the company on 12th february, 2008.The replaced tv had the same problem on which i asked for a senior engineers assistance, to which a technician mr rajbhar visited and said that he would send his senior to see the problem .A senior engineer mr. Singh visited my place after 2-3 days and to my surprise he explained me the difference between a mercedes car and a maruticar .It was really great to know that you have people who can explain such things rather than what their work is, he assured and promised me of inquiring whether the same problem occurs in other tvs and would call me, but he dint returned even a call.
The other technician i.E. Mr rajbhar said to me that your tv is cheap therefore it has such low picture quality which he said in front of the dealer. Is it that you make big promises about your globally renowned products that are said to be best in class and of the highest quality which your own technicians consider to be a cheap product.
Now i too think that your senior engineer and technician were correct about the quality of your product.
By now i am fed up of your cheap quality of service and product .I even called up the mumbai branch manager mr. Ankur joshi (Mobile no. [protected]) on 11th april, 2008 who assured me of returning back a call for a feedback and said that, "i know my job". And now even after 4 days i understand how much he knows about his job and on what basis lg appoints responsible people that too in customer services.
I am totally frustrated and exhausted by this sort of irresponsible and irritable behaviour of your technicians, senior engineer, service manager and dealer.The dealer even insist me on getting other brands. You make big promises about the quality charter, your customer services, responses and quality products and even the 6 sigma's.
At the end i would like to say that i want a refund in a week or else i would to my dissatisfaction would hav to go to consumer guidance society and other such organisation to put a light on your customes services and your commitment to excellence and quality as mentioned in your advertisements and booklets.
I hope to notice some response or action as soon as possible

LG Electronics — No Response from the company regarding complaint lodged

Hi,

I have LG 1.5 ton AC at my place, AC broke down on 15th July'10, i got the complaint registered C[protected] and i was informed that within 24hrs engineer will visit my site.

I received a call from the engineer and he agreed to come to my place by 1900hrs, since 1830hrs i kept on call the engineer and he came to me after i made 10 calls to him then he arrived at 2100hrs.

He checked the AC and said that Motor is chocked and need to be changed, he said that LG van will come to my place tomorrow and take the AC for repair but since then i have been calling the company tolfree and always received cold response that your case is being forwarded to the local team of your area & they will get back to you. But never received a single call from them. When again i called up at customer care number they again 4th time said, your complaint is in open state & local team will call you up.

No followup is being taken by Customer care team with the local vendor whether they have made any attempt to contact me. No TAT/SLA is being followed to see open complaints status only complaint logiing process is being followed which results no use for me.

This is highly frustrating and amazingly till now no one even thought of calling me. I am very sorry to say that when i went to purchase this AC i was assured about the after sales service that its very good and they are very efficient but all those commitments are fake and are never completed.

I got my AC repaired from local shop and the issue got resolved at my place in less that one hour and now the AC is working fine.

Commitments made by the company needs to be checked and refrained to 24days as i think then only they will be able to perform.

I AM WRITING THIS IN REGARD OF THE PROBLEM I MA FACING AFETR BUYING THE MOBILE HANDSET LG GW 620 (WITH ANDROID TECHNOLOGY). ITS REALY A PATHETIC JOURNEY FROM THE DAY I BOUGHT THIS SET.

I WAS UNABLE TO PUT MY CONTACT DETAIL IN THIS SET FIRST AND THEN THE OTHER PROBLEM STARTED. I COULD SOME HOW MANAGE TO PUT MY CONTACT DETAIL AFTER TAKING SO MANY DAYS ON THIS. THE SYNCHRONIZATION WASNT WORKING.

THEN THE SET START HANGING, NOISE DISTRIBUTION, AND SO MANY OTHER THINGS COME ONE AFTER ANOTHER AFTER TAKING THIS I WAS NOT USING THIS SET FOR MORE THEN A MONTH AS FIGHTING WITH THE PERSON FROM WHOM I BOUGHT THE SET TO ETUSRN. BUT HE REFUSED AND THEN WAHEN THE PROBLEMS GOES BEYOND THE LIMITATION I HAVE SENT THIS SET THE THE LG SERVICE SENTRE IN BHIKAJI CAMA PLACE (AEGISS INFOTECH - [protected]).

I HAVE SENT A PAGE OF PROBLEM ALONG WITH THE SET TO THE SERVICE CENTRE ON 08 / 07 / 2010 AND NOW ITS 19 / 07 / 2010 (11 DAYS) BUT THEY ARE UNABLE TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM AND EVERY DAY I GIVE THEM A CALL TO REMIND THEM THE PROBLEM I AM FACING DUE TO NOT HAVVNG THE CONTACT DATA WITH ME AND HELPLESSLY WORKING.

THEY ARE UNABLE TO SYNCHRONIZE THE CONTACT DETAIL AS THE MAIN FEATURE GIVEN BY THE GOOGLE FOR THE LATEST HANDSET WITH NEW TECHNOLOGY.

I AM SICK OF BUYING A COSTLY PRODCT BUT WRONG BRAND. I HAVE CALLED UP SO MANY TIME S TO THE COSTUMER CARE TO COMPLAINT BTHE SAME BUT FORTUNATELY FOR THE LG, ITS BEEN DISCONNECTED WHILE HAVING THE CONVERSATION IN BETWEEN. I THINK ITS BEEN DONE AS NOT TO LISTEN ANY COMPLAINT LIKE THIS. This is the worst company to deal with.
I ahve logged 2 complaints one on 21st June, 2010 and 2nd on 9th July, 2010. The problem is neither resolved nor any one from service center is bothered to call. LG service level is 3rd grade and No one should buy LG equipments in future.

Dear Sir,
I have been an avid fan of LG products and u should visit my home to realise that all my electronic items viz LCD, washing machine, microwave & Refridgerator are all LG. But of late my faith in your products has taken a serious beating.
My 280 ltr refridgerator, which i had purchased in Udhampur when i was posted there in 2003, had suddenly stopped cooling a couple of months back. I imdtly contacted the nearest LG authorised service center in Ajit Nagar, Patiala. I was told that the compressor had gone faulty and would have to be replaced.
On taking my consent, the compressor was supposedly changed and returned to me. It worked properly only for 3 days and stopped cooling again.
Thus began a procession of my fridge travelling up & down from and to the service center with them claiming changing a different component each time. After 6-7 failed attempts over the last 4 months plus of claiming to have rectified the problem, i am not only a seriously harrased customer but feel cheated through this entire episode especially after having personally spoken to the owner of the service center Mr Anil who stated that i should give up on my Refridgerator and purchase a new one as it was completely "beyond repair".
This has not only shattered my faith in your products but also saddened me at the treatment i have received at the hands of your reliable service center. What leaves me even more worried is the fate of my other LG products mentioned above.
I am left seriously contemplating approaching the Consumer forum for redressal of my grievance as also publishing this predicament of mine in all the leading Dailies of the country.

I too have similar experience. On 4th July 2010 I bought double door LG Refrigerator from LG showroom in City Centre-II, New Town, Kolkata. Immediately it started giving compressor problem for which I raised 5 complaints in 10 days. Service Engineer came 4 times, tried to replace some parts but that didn't work.
I've I've 1.5 old baby and her food is getting spoiled everyday becoz of this problem.

LG Mobile - Ks360 — i have been cheated by lg

i bought a lg KS360 handset on 15/2/2010, and since the 2nd day of my purchase, whenever i made a call,i could not hear anything,only after approx 25 seconds i could hear but till then the person on the receiving end would have put down the phone.another problem i faced was that the inbox and sent items of my messages always used to hang till i around 30 seconds or more sometimes.because of these problems i was unable to use the handset at all for making any kind of calls.during this period i went to the customer service centre 3 to 4 times in goregaon as well as bandra,but to vain,it worked only for 2 days again.i am tired of complaining and going to the service centre as i am a working professional, i do not get so much of time.my work has been badly affected and the i got a very careless behaviour from the service centre side.i as a customer of lg would not recommend anybody to buy lg products as all my money has also gone in vain.i demand the money back or a new handset as the handset is still in warranty and its useless to me.as well all the lg handsets as well as their executives are useless as it seems for them the value and customer satisfaction is the last priority.i demand and immediate help from lg group.and plz help me to forward my complain till the right person which according to me the lg company does not have.or give me my money back.my job is getting badly affected as the handset is absolutely useless.help me as soon as possible.

LG Tromm Fully Automatic Washing Machine — poor service

I had launched a complaint against my LG TROMM fully automatic washing machine as there was a leakage problem from underneath the machine (21.06.2010) . My complaint no. was C[protected]. A Technician came and just looked at the machine and said the GASKET(rubber washer) has to be changed. He said if there is a stock he would replace it in 3 days time or wait for the stock to come to their sercice center. Meanwhile, there was an sms in my mobile that they have closed the complaint!!!!(do not know the reason!!!!)(11.07.2010). Again I contacted the service center and they told the gasket is chargeable . I told them,I am an AMC holder for 2 years together. They in turn said only electrical parts come under AMC. Well I said ok and asked them to come and fit it. They kept quiet and never turned up. I was forced to launch a complaint once again and they gave me a complaint no.C[protected](12.07.2010) at8.54am. There was a sudden sms saying that my complaint no is C[protected](12.07.2010)at 10.53am.
Suddenly one man telephoned and said our gasket has come from the company and he would like to fit and said I need to pay for it. But we were outside the city and told him that this can be done only after we come back.
After we came back, I phoned the service center and asked to come to fit and I would pay the amount. Till now nobody has turned to attend our complaint.

Finally I have to say only this that, we foolish people are made to make AMC for certain number of years just for fun. A complaint from 21st june,2010 till today has not been attended. Why should such companies give promises to public? The concerned people who are so very irresponsible should be thrown out of the work.
I am very disgusted to tell the people concerned that no company should do this to the public. One added up thing is that I am an AMC holder consistantly since 2005(year machine was purchased).

LG Ks660 Mobile Phone — Touch screen freezes and doesn't always respond also messages get mixed up

I purchased a LG KS660 mobile phone in January 2010 from Cell World 51/109 ground floor Nova Citade commecial complex, Povorim, Goa.
And took it back to the UK I have had nothing but problems with the touch screen failing to respond and the messages getting mixed up from inbox to outbox and failing to send. The phone did work for a short period. I have e mailed LG India without any responce. This is not good enough for a well known company like LG. The phone was not cheap at over 9000 rps.

L.G. / LCD — forgery

I purchased a lcd tv from "Chhavi Enterprises, 24/73-76 Kishori Niwas,
Birhana Road, Kanpur" on[protected]. There was a offer of Airtel DTH on
this product & for that I was supposed to send a draft of Rs.99/- to
"Spectra Mind Marketing (P) Ltd." along with a photo-copy of the bill of
purchase with the serial number of the tv.
I did all of the above, but till date I have not received the DTH.
I have repeatedly called the customer care department but they say that
they are not responsible for any offer's advertised in the news-paper and
the dealer tells that he is not responsible and I should contact the
company.
Is this a new way of cheating the consumers, through fordgery ?
If this is the way L.G. company is governed, by thugs, then I am sorry to
inform you that you are cheating your-self because the consumer when
cheated once will not go back to that thug company !

LG GM 200 Mobile — not able to play downloaded games

if i download games it do not install, and if install ....,not able to play

On 21.06.2010,i purchased window Ac -4 Star LG from BHardwaj Gallery,Vasundara Ghaziabad. This AC is giving huge noise more than a cooler which not expected from AC.Several time comlaints have been made and thier techanician has attened the complaints but they were not able to reduce the noise. I Want company should looked into.Because I am using LG AC since last 12year.Its function is excellent. Keeping in mind the performance of the , I went to purchase 2nd AC of LG which is giving lot of noise causing dissatisfation.So,either company should eliminiate this problemb or relace it with other model.

LG-Mobile/KP-500 — Repairing of Handset

Sir i have given my LG KP-500 handset to the service center based at Rudrapur, Uttrakhand 20 days earlier i.e on 26/07/10 but after 20 days they people had handed over my handset which is being unimpaired.when i have asked to them regarding my handset before handed over to me that what happen to my mobile they people had replayed that your mobile is being repaired and you can take your mobile on Monday dated 09/08/10 but till date it is not being repaired and i am continuously following them for repairing of my mobile phone.
please tell me that what i have to do in this case.
Are the LG service center people are not capable in repairing of the hand set or what.

LG Km380 — Be careful about adv

I have brought the LG phone model KM 380 which was advertised as MUSIC PHONE expandable up to 8GB. I recently upgraded to 8GB and loaded 1500 songs. unfortunately it doesn't load more than 1000 songs. I reached out to service center at Rajajinagar, Bangalore, also escalated to Kormangala office. They answer like any local brand saying we never said it loads more than 1000 songs. Then why did they advertise it as MUSIC PHONE?, any way until now, no resolution. BE CAREFUL abt LG Mobiles.
