Wrong remaining EMI/ no. of months shown in letter of LICHFL for Housing Loan

Dear Sir,

In reference to Loan Account [protected], I have taken Housing Loan of Rs. 6 Lac for 10 years from M/S LIC Housing Finance Ltd. (LICHFL) in 2008 for construction of house. I request you to kindly instruct M/S LICHFL to correct the figure/no. of EMIs as wrongly imposed / Outstanding Loan to me.

With out giving any information to the concerned M/S LICHFL, extended loan period by 13 months i.e. more 10%...

Hello Team,

I Mona Pal, I had book my flat in Paramount Golfforste. I had given papers to your agent name Alam Khan. Who had also visited to my office address & discuss all the process, after that he had sent someone name Rajkumar to collect the papers. After 20 days when I called both of them to know the status then they said yes your file is in process. After few more days I asked them to give me papers back, But now a days they are saying we had courier your document.

Due to those kind of people company lost there image, So I am requesting to the management to ask him to give me paper back today, else provide me courier tracking number so I can get the correct status of my document.

Dear sir,
I have paid the total outstanding two months back for my loan account nos. [protected] & [protected] and since then I am running from one office to another. Finally I was directed to one Mr.Manish in the Swargate, Pune Branch who either does not receive my calls or if at all he receives he asks me to call again after two three days and then again he does not receive phone. I am not knowing the reason even for the delay. Is it because of efficint management of LIC housing Finance? At least I should know the reason for this delay.my mail id [protected]@rediffmail.com,

    2 years ago I apply for the loan but I am not getting loan I required reason for that.

    Dear Sir,

    Please refer to loan A/C NO: - 55893 (OLD) OR 558760 (NEW) & look into the matter and take the necessary discourse at the earliest.
    This time around it has been quite a harrowing experience with me I am not getting any satisfactory response and a clear cut answer from your authorities at LICHFL Surat / Mumbai office. While I understand that disbursement of loan is at the sole discretion of the lending financer, it is also my right to know the reason for denial. If you are not give me the loan than please give me the original document. So I will apply loan for the other bank. I need money as soon as possible.

    Two times I complaint, But I am not getting any response for any office in the same regard. My loan was neither sanctioned nor rejected. So I am being harassed any my money has been blocked am not in position to proceed further till sanction of loan.

    Thus, I am not taking any legal Action because I am also employee in LIC OF INDIA at Surat Branch. Please give me the status of my loan or my original document.

    Sub:-Redressal of Grievances

    LICHFL granted me home loan by putting uncalled for/unwanted Clauses in the Sanction. My grievances are as under:

    1) I applied for Home loan in November, 2010, with LICHFL for Rs. 15 Lac by completing all formalities and providing all original necessary documents against a Builder’s Flat costing about Rs. 35 Lac so allotted to me by “SRS.”

    2) After great persuasion with LICHFL, ultimately after about 5 months, I was sanctioned loan vide their letter issued on[protected] for a sum of Rs. 10 Lac as against Rs. 15 Lac. by imposing additional conditions such as (a) one Govt. Guarantor (b) Assignment of LIC Policies worth 2 Lac.

    3) I submitted all the documents so demanded by LICHFL and against Govt. Guarantor, I furnished a Guarantor Form of a person, working as a General Manager in an Internationally reputed and renowned company, drawing salary of Rs. 9 Lac p.a, whose particulars verified by the LICHFL.

    4) Since then I have constantly been requesting in person the concerned officials of LICHFL and/or by sending letters/ E-mails for waiving off the Clause of Govt. Guarantor and LIC Policy, but to my surprise till date neither I have received any reply from LICHFL for waiving off the two Clauses nor they made payment of Rs. 252, 572/- to the Builders against the original Demand Notice so received and given to LICHFL, last date of which was 30th May, 2011, whereby I lost not only 3% discount allowed for timely payment but I will also have to pay 18% discount for the delayed payment.

    5) Against the cost of Flat, which works out to be approx. Rs. 35 Lac, LICHFL will be paying only Rs. 10 Lac in instalments and the balance amount of Rs. 25 Lac will be paid by me. Till date I have already paid a sum of approx Rs. 12.50 Lac to the Builders.

    Earlier also I was sanctioned a loan of Rs. 15.30 Lac by LICHFL with no imposition of any additional Clause against the said Flat with my same particular and unchanged constitution of the company where I am working. Since the validity of sanction being 3 months expired I had to apply for loan afresh and now facing the above problems.

    Since last date of validity of the Sanction being 29th June, 2011, is fast approaching, I am scared as no decision till date is communicated to me by the LICHFL for waiving off the clause.

    In the end I would request your good self that keeping in view the genuineness of the case kindly intervene into the matter and arrange to get the additional Clause of Govt. Guarantor and LIC Policy waived off at the earliest and save me from the problems which I envisage in case the validity of the sanction is expired.

          I have applied LIC credit card on date 17-Jan-2011. But I have not received any status of my application till date 15-March-2011. Yes I have received once a message that your application required latest ITR copy. I have sent my latest itr copy same time by courier and e-mail.
          I have many calls to[protected]. Customer care executive told me that, we have not any status about your application. Executive give me a number[protected] of corporation bank regarding inquiry of my application.
          Corporation bank executive again give me a number[protected] of NAND KISHORE (LIC CSL) and email id (nand.[protected]@licindia.com). I has been calling on this number[protected] but nobody are picking phone. Also many mail to nand kishore but he is very laggard because he don't giving me any reply against my mail.

          I am thinking LIC credit card service is very laggard or so poor due to laggard staff or management. Because they are not able to handling all credit card applications. I am seeing many complaint against lic credit card. IT IS VERY BAD SERVICE.

          lic credit cards — Unable to get the status of Credit Card Application

          I had applied for LIC Credit card around three months back, after few days of submitting my application I had recived a SMS for submission of pay slip on given mail id. I had submitted it same day. After that I had not recived any response in this concern. I had spoken on various number given by customer care but evey time they use to give a new numebr or the number provided by them is not responding.

                Service of Lic housing finance is very bad.
                The processing time is very high.
                Processing fee is also high.
                Don't believe tha agents of LIC.
                You need to pay some amount of bribe to certain
                people out side the LIC. If you bring the notice to
                LICpeople,they say that they cannot do anything.

                I personally feel, better not to go for LIC for housing finance.
                This is Iam telling from the personel experiance.

                    I have a Home loan (A/c No.[protected], Appl. No. 502892) with LICHFL since November 2009.

                    Due to some unavoidable circumstances, there was not sufficient balance in my bank account at the time the ECS was presented by you. i.e. on February 17th and it was returned by my bank. In fact, few minutes after that my account was credited with more than sufficient balance but it was too late.

                    I have been trying to reach these guys on every phone number on the internet but in vain.All the phone numbers are not reachable and all the email ids are invalid and get undelivered.

                    I finally spoke with Mr. Deshpande in recovery department this monday and he suggested that i send a cheque of Rs. 41000 (EMI of 20283 for 2 months and interest for non payment) so that the March ECS does not go bounced. He assured me that this is the best way and will re-instate the ECS from April 2011.

                    I have sent him a cheque (No. 364273) of RBS, Pune via First Flight courier on Tuesday, (March 8th) with AWB No. G14832343 which shows that it got delivered to him on 9th afternoon at 2 PM.

                    Since then i have been trying to reach him on[protected] and[protected] continuously but unable to reach him.

                    I am afraid about the cheque that i have sent and thinking of stopping the cheque tomorrow. Kindly advice.

                    1.Talk to person to whom u had sent Chq & confirm if they have recd the same

                    2. Send letter to LICHFL on addresses available on letters or documents or sanction letters u have received, to confirm the receipt of such chq. Also send email on available email ids and keep all the records with you. Tell them if they do not confirm within 7 days of receipt of the intimation it would be presumed to be lost or misplaced and would be referred for stop payment and filing complaint for such misplaced chq.

                    3. If LICHFL or its recovery agent gets in touch with you pay him via DD or Chq in favour of LICHFL and get the valid recipt.

                    2. All emails that i have sent to all the email ids available online are getting undelivered. It seems their host name server has changed and the same has not been updated.

                          Processing time will be delayed.

                          Agent will say the processing fee is very less. At the end of processing after 1month the manager will say that, processing fee is not less and will be 1% only.

                          You will ask for house loan closure period for certain years. But LIC will not discuss any thing and they will give their own period.

                          In the LIC for house loan you give some amount of bribe also for certain people out side the LIC. This type is not seen in the other housing finances.

                          I personally request don't go for LIC for housing finance.

They will say the loan process will finish in 1wk duration.People will believe and submit all tha papers for work. Because of their word, people will make agrements for the house sellers for less than 1 month. After 1wk if you enquire about your loan processing status, they will say that it iscoming in next day and tomarrow. It will be delayed for 3wk and buyer will be tension. And LIC will people will say that, it was delayed only in your case, and our manager has already spoken. And we will finish rest of the procedures. They will take you to the lawyer for verification of house documents and they will ask for bribe. because you are in the bad situation at time, the processing time is becoming delay, and you don't have time and this make you pay that bribe to lawyer, notary, and house checking.

                            If you ask the regional manager of the LIC, they will say that we can't do anyting, you have to pay bribe. At this level you are in a bad situation, you cannot go to the other finance bank companies. Because you have already make comitment with house seller to give the check in month duration. Finally you things will be dalayed and you have to processing fee and bribe for certain people.

                            Finally it will be more what you are paying to LIC compared to the other banks.

                            I personally feel don't go for LIC for housing finance.Same thing has happened to me.

                              DEATH CLAIM IN RESPECT OF VIJAY PRATAP SINGH

                              Dear Sir,




                              1. My husband Mr Vijay Pratap Singh who was a Senior Journalist of Indian Express suffered “Bomb Blast Injury” at Allahabad (UP) in alleged attack on a UP Minister on 12 Jul 2010 at 1130h. The incident occurred while he was giving media coverage for a minister visit to Allahabad. He was immediately hospitlised to Jeevan Jyoti Hospital, Allahabad. Subsequently on 13 Jul 2010, he was referred to Army Hospital R&R, New Delhi for further treatment, later on he died on 20 Jul 2010 at Army Hospital R&R, New Delhi.

                              2. We had submitted complete documents including original LIC Policy, Death Certificate of RR Army Hospital, Postmortem Report and other relevant documents in Nov 2010.

                              3. Till date the LIC has not decided the claim. It is very astonishing that the NOK had to run around to get the claim, where as your prestigious company claims that the benefit of LIC will be given as earliest as possible. But four months had already passed and there is no response from the LIC, instead when LIC is approached they say relevant paper have been send for verification. As my husband died due to “Bomb Blast Injury”, in alleged attack on UP Minister while giving media coverage to the minster visit at Allahabad, there is no ambiguity regarding the accident.

                              4. My submission is that, if the NOK have to run around like this, what is the benefit of getting one insured through LIC. If some verification is required, special courier should be dispatch at the verification office or required place to speed up the proceedings.



                              5. It appears that there is delay factors on part of LIC. After waiting for four months I am forced to write to you for necessary action of India.

                                I would like to bring to your notice the arrogant and unprofessional behaviour of your agent,Mr K.V.Mohandas-agent 01246925,DO 0004986.I have a jeevan Aasha II policy since 2003 from Mr Mohandas.As i needed money for my proffesional reasons,i asked him to come to me withthe surrender papers.He came to my office on the morn of 8th March and threw the papers on my table.the form was not filled as i expected him to do as my agent.He asked me to stick a revenue stamp and sign.when i asked him for the stamp,he replied that its not his job to do it,he doesnt move around with the stamp.i have to get it myself if i want,he is not responsible to do these things.He arrogantly stood up,asked me get the stamp,sign and then send it to him.
                                I asked him to leave my office immediately which he did without a remorse.
                                My brother,Dr Meenesh Juvekar,has had a similar experience with him 2 years back and had discontinued him as his agent
                                I am extremely disappointed with this incident and the fact that LIC has such unproffesional workers who eventually tarnish the image of the company.
                                I request you to kindly look into this matter in earnest and at the earliest to safeguard your reputation.
