    I have a Home loan (A/c No.[protected], Appl. No. 502892) with LICHFL since November 2009.

    Due to some unavoidable circumstances, there was not sufficient balance in my bank account at the time the ECS was presented by you. i.e. on February 17th and it was returned by my bank. In fact, few minutes after that my account was credited with more than sufficient balance but it was too late.

    I have been trying to reach these guys on every phone number on the internet but in vain.All the phone numbers are not reachable and all the email ids are invalid and get undelivered.

    I finally spoke with Mr. Deshpande in recovery department this monday and he suggested that i send a cheque of Rs. 41000 (EMI of 20283 for 2 months and interest for non payment) so that the March ECS does not go bounced. He assured me that this is the best way and will re-instate the ECS from April 2011.

    I have sent him a cheque (No. 364273) of RBS, Pune via First Flight courier on Tuesday, (March 8th) with AWB No. G14832343 which shows that it got delivered to him on 9th afternoon at 2 PM.

    Since then i have been trying to reach him on[protected] and[protected] continuously but unable to reach him.

    I am afraid about the cheque that i have sent and thinking of stopping the cheque tomorrow. Kindly advice.

    Some Dos:
    1.Talk to person to whom u had sent Chq & confirm if they have recd the same

    2. Send letter to LICHFL on addresses available on letters or documents or sanction letters u have received, to confirm the receipt of such chq. Also send email on available email ids and keep all the records with you. Tell them if they do not confirm within 7 days of receipt of the intimation it would be presumed to be lost or misplaced and would be referred for stop payment and filing complaint for such misplaced chq.

    3. If LICHFL or its recovery agent gets in touch with you pay him via DD or Chq in favour of LICHFL and get the valid recipt.

    Hi Rajesh,

    Thanks for your suggestions. But below are the issues
    1. The person whom i sent the cheque is not responding to my calls.

    2. All emails that i have sent to all the email ids available online are getting undelivered. It seems their host name server has changed and the same has not been updated.

    3. I shall do this immediately.

          Processing time will be delayed.

          Agent will say the processing fee is very less. At the end of processing after 1month the manager will say that, processing fee is not less and will be 1% only.

          You will ask for house loan closure period for certain years. But LIC will not discuss any thing and they will give their own period.

          In the LIC for house loan you give some amount of bribe also for certain people out side the LIC. This type is not seen in the other housing finances.

          I personally request don't go for LIC for housing finance.

            This is bring to the public notice, LIC housing finance is in a bad condition. They will say the loan process will finish in 1wk duration.People will believe and submit all tha papers for work. Because of their word, people will make agrements for the house sellers for less than 1 month. After 1wk if you enquire about your loan processing status, they will say that it iscoming in next day and tomarrow. It will be delayed for 3wk and buyer will be tension. And LIC will people will say that, it was delayed only in your case, and our manager has already spoken. And we will finish rest of the procedures. They will take you to the lawyer for verification of house documents and they will ask for bribe. because you are in the bad situation at time, the processing time is becoming delay, and you don't have time and this make you pay that bribe to lawyer, notary, and house checking.

            If you ask the regional manager of the LIC, they will say that we can't do anyting, you have to pay bribe. At this level you are in a bad situation, you cannot go to the other finance bank companies. Because you have already make comitment with house seller to give the check in month duration. Finally you things will be dalayed and you have to processing fee and bribe for certain people.

            Finally it will be more what you are paying to LIC compared to the other banks.

            I personally feel don't go for LIC for housing finance.Same thing has happened to me.

              DEATH CLAIM IN RESPECT OF VIJAY PRATAP SINGH
              (POLICY NO[protected]


              Dear Sir,




              1. My husband Mr Vijay Pratap Singh who was a Senior Journalist of Indian Express suffered “Bomb Blast Injury” at Allahabad (UP) in alleged attack on a UP Minister on 12 Jul 2010 at 1130h. The incident occurred while he was giving media coverage for a minister visit to Allahabad. He was immediately hospitlised to Jeevan Jyoti Hospital, Allahabad. Subsequently on 13 Jul 2010, he was referred to Army Hospital R&R, New Delhi for further treatment, later on he died on 20 Jul 2010 at Army Hospital R&R, New Delhi.

              2. We had submitted complete documents including original LIC Policy, Death Certificate of RR Army Hospital, Postmortem Report and other relevant documents in Nov 2010.

              3. Till date the LIC has not decided the claim. It is very astonishing that the NOK had to run around to get the claim, where as your prestigious company claims that the benefit of LIC will be given as earliest as possible. But four months had already passed and there is no response from the LIC, instead when LIC is approached they say relevant paper have been send for verification. As my husband died due to “Bomb Blast Injury”, in alleged attack on UP Minister while giving media coverage to the minster visit at Allahabad, there is no ambiguity regarding the accident.

              4. My submission is that, if the NOK have to run around like this, what is the benefit of getting one insured through LIC. If some verification is required, special courier should be dispatch at the verification office or required place to speed up the proceedings.



              5. It appears that there is delay factors on part of LIC. After waiting for four months I am forced to write to you for necessary action of India.

                I would like to bring to your notice the arrogant and unprofessional behaviour of your agent,Mr K.V.Mohandas-agent 01246925,DO 0004986.I have a jeevan Aasha II policy since 2003 from Mr Mohandas.As i needed money for my proffesional reasons,i asked him to come to me withthe surrender papers.He came to my office on the morn of 8th March and threw the papers on my table.the form was not filled as i expected him to do as my agent.He asked me to stick a revenue stamp and sign.when i asked him for the stamp,he replied that its not his job to do it,he doesnt move around with the stamp.i have to get it myself if i want,he is not responsible to do these things.He arrogantly stood up,asked me get the stamp,sign and then send it to him.
                I asked him to leave my office immediately which he did without a remorse.
                My brother,Dr Meenesh Juvekar,has had a similar experience with him 2 years back and had discontinued him as his agent
                I am extremely disappointed with this incident and the fact that LIC has such unproffesional workers who eventually tarnish the image of the company.
                I request you to kindly look into this matter in earnest and at the earliest to safeguard your reputation.

                      Cheque No. 658406 micr no.[protected] dated 2.4.2010 fir Rs. 30,200/- (Rs. Thirty thousand two hundred only) issued in favour of Sanjeev Nanda in full and final settlement of the LIC growth scheme was deposited with my Banker M/s Punjab and Sind Bank, E/c JKPP, Shalimar Bagh, Delhi 110088 and is received back as bounced on 5.5.2010. The Manager P&SB also failed to advise me regarding the dishonoured cheque on 15.4.2010, till I personally visited the Bank on 5.5.2010 for withdrawing the amount.

                      It is a pity that rather surprising, that the Govt. Cheque has started bouncing
                      even when the amount deposited by me is being refunded without any benefit for three years. It amounts to gross negligence on the part of staff and deficiency in service, which kept me unable to withdraw my own money. I am legally advised to lodge a FIR for dishonouring of cheque, but before I pursue and take action as legally advised, I took this opportunity to approach you for the wrong thing done by you.

                      It is therefore requested that the person responsible for this act should sternly taken up and advise to me and the compensation for causing mental agony and harassment may please be granted to the undersigned.

                      when i paid the last premium in june they informed that due date of policy is 28.7.10 and next premum date is 28.709
                      when i am having original policy and original policy receipt issued to me in 1996 is 28709 and pension will start from 280709 how it will be one year prolonged
                      i am retired on 300609 how can i pay sss for one more year

                      LIC — DISHONOURING OF CHEQUE

                      DEAR SIR, ONE CHEQUE BEARING NO 768841 DT[protected] AND AMOUNTING TO RS 424/- IN THE NAME OF SBI K.G.MARG NEW DELHI AGAINST LIC PENSION POLICY NO[protected] PRESENTED TO BANK HAS BEEN REJECTED ON THE PRETEXT THAT IT HAS ALREADY BEEN PRESENTED ON 6-7-2009. THE LOCAL BANK HAS CHARGED RS55/- AS SERVICE CHARGES FOR THIS DISHONOURED CHEQUE. THE MATTER NEEDS TO BE LOOKED INTO TO ASCERTAIN AS TO HOW PAYMENT IN ADVANCE HAS BEEN MADE AND TO WHOM IT HAS BEEN MADE.
                      I deposited my premium vide receipt no.2323 dated 21.4.2010 for Rs.2975/- against my policy no.[protected] dt 28.3.2006.

                      This cheque has not cleared from my bank. So please confirm what is the status of our premium receipt which you have issued to me.

                        Received a letter from LIC of India MOTI NAGAR Branch 129 stating maturity of policy no.[protected] amounting Rs.236200.00. Written by LIC itself. But when I received the amount it was Rs224400.00.Contacted branch in person. Nobody could able to explain why deduction was made. I have both the documents with me. Written to branch manager , E-mail to branch manager, divisional manager, customer zone but no action by officer. It looks nobody is interested to reply.                           I am desh raj from gurgaon. i start a lic policy from
                          feb 2010 with the monthly premium of rs. 5071/,
                          term of 11 yrs as per the discussion of with the agent.
                          when agent gave me policy bond paper on 20/02/2011
                          then i knew that term is shown in the policy bond paper for 21 yrs that i anable to contenue my policy.
                          so i requeted that please cancel my policy and return all my

                            Today i transfer my premium Rs 1580.50 by net banking axis bank acc. no [protected] to LIC policy number[protected]Rajesh Kumar) first time show sum earr so i try to pay after 10 min in ii nd time. in 2nd time muny transfer is succesfull but mony deducted in my account in 2 times that is Rs3161.
                            pl refund my excess transferd mony as soon as possible

                              Complaint against LIC Housing Finance Ltd., Asaf Ali Road, New Delhi, having misguided me for approval of loan - File No. 30490

                              I was sanctioned loan of Rs. 15,30,000/- on[protected] under Griha Prakash Scheme by LICHFL Janakpuri Branch Vide File No. 407279 against a Residential Floor in “SRS Pearl” Sector 87, Faridabad. On receiving a demand Notice late from “SRS” when I approached LIC for making remittance to SRS, they refused to do so, saying that validity of sanction was only for 6 months and hence advised me to make a fresh application.

                              Accordingly I submitted a fresh application (complete in all respect) vide File No. 30490 with their branch in Asaf Ali Road, New Delhi on 1st November, 2010, attaching photocopy of “Loan so already Sanctioned,” together with a cheque towards their process fee. After this I chased up constantly with all the concerned officials and I was always given assurance that since the loan has already been sanctioned by LIC Janakpuri Branch, very soon I will be receiving a fresh sanction, but on the contrary I am now being verbally informed after 4 months having not sanctioned the loan on account of reasons best known to them, which news came to me like a blow.

                              Since the day I received the above information I have been running from pillar to post, writing Registered letters/sending email messages not only to Regional Manager (Mr. Mahinder Kumar), but also to other concerned authorities in LIC but with no response till date and hence, I approach your good office for intervention in getting my loan sanctioned at earliest as it was sanctioned earlier by LICHF, Janakpuri Branch. Copy of sanction has already been attached with my Message on 17th February, 2011.
                              Looking forward to receiving an early sympathetic consideration.

                              i agree with mr rajesh completely the authorities sitting at janakpuri branch at nahata towers does care about the customers time and money they do not even pick up the phones madame jayanti most of the time is on official visits as said by the staff present there

                                Respected sir/madam, I Dr. Ruksana Shakil Shikalgar, have entered in Jeevan Saral policies No.[protected] &[protected] of Rs. 50442/- each D O C 12/03/2010. But on the basis of some wrong blood report premium was increased to Rs. 56287/- each which was paid by me accidently. my blood report of other reputed labs are normal. I feel it is injusties to ask me to pay higher premium. I & my husband both are postgraduate allopathy doctors. Both are entered in Jeevan Saral at same time believing on LIC only. some days back Ihave wrote letter to cancell my both policies. Till date have not received any payment. I herewith appeal you to solve my problem earliest as due date of payment is nearer

                                  I am attaching the scan copy of the documents which were presented to you but it was stated that the same are insufficient for the release of my Original documents of Property ( Registry / Approved Building Map etc.) You have earlier given reason that the server is not working due to which the File is not traceable now you say documents are inssuficient kindly advise which document is required.

                                  I have applied for a Loan against the above referred property and due to your unprofessional attitude of working my loan file will be rejected for which I reserve the right to take suitable remedy in the court of law.

                                  I requested them to say the time span to release the document, they told that it would take 25 days to return the same. I need to know for what reason they are taking 25 days.And in any of the LIC Housing Finance norms no time has been mentioned for the release of the Originals. And please do the needful thing to release my Original Document as early as possible.

                                    I have sent the EMI for the month of Feb 2011 by cheque for which I have also got a provisional receipt after a period of one week. I have received a letter which said the cheque was dishonored. And the reason they have quoted is it is STALE. So they wanted me to approach the area office to make the payment (with additional interest) by CASH ONLY. So I have sent a messenger to make the CASH PAYMENT on 28th Feb. They have made him to wait in the Q for one hour and sent him back stating that the time is over.
                                    So I have sent the same messenger again on 1st March. After waiting in the Q for more than an hour he was told this time that they do not accept CASH PAYMENTS.

                                    When the messenger informed this over the phone I have instructed him to stay back in the LICHIL and I tried to talk to the concerned officers of LICHFL of that particular branch over the phone.
                                    To my dismay I was told that I could not talk to any one starting from the Manager to the officers concerned as every one was busy in a meeting. when I insisted they put my call on hold for full 10 minutes and at the end it got disconnected. Again I tried. and this time I wanted the person who attend it to connect the call to the Manager Recovery. To which I was again told he was also in a meeting. When I insisted again I was put on hold and ultimately it got disconnected. Again when I tried, a different person came on the line and he said every one in LICHIL is busy and hence he could not connect this call to anyone.
                                    When I insisted for the very first time he asked me what my problem was?. I have told him about the Letter which wanted me to pay by CASH and the officers in the LICHIL who refuse to accept CASH payment.

                                    He said he will meet my messenger and help him to make the payment by CASH. But again when that (He was not ready to reveal his name or designation) person met my messenger he was told the same story and none of the managers or the officers was willing to meet him or take a look at the LICHFL letter which wanted me to make the payment by CASH. When I was told about this by my messenger i again called the LICHFL number and the person who came on the line said he cannot answer to the mistakes of the RECOVERY DEPT and abused me and stopped shot of calling me an .

                                    I want to know why LICHFL communicate one thing and do exactly the opposite. Why do they write in BOLD LETTERS to make the payment in CASH. and refuse to accept it when customers approach them in person.

                                      Worthy Sir/Madam,

                                      As all the national newspapers and news television channels are informing that the exam of LIC for the post of AAO which was held on Sunday 27 Feb 2011 was leaked one day before.
                                      Hence I request to cancel the exam immediately and further request to take the exam again because those who have purchased the leaked paper, did not deserve for the selection in any condition and if they get the job chance then what will happen with thousands of those students who were really deserving.

                                      I am also one of those candidate who is looking with a hope to take the exam again with strict security.
                                      Please do the needful as soon as possible.
