[Resolved] Lic Of India — Non Receipt of Premium Notices

I am holding several endowment Policies of LIC. usually LIC sends Notices for payment when Premiums become due. Mine is a yearly premium Mode. However since the last few years I have not been receiving Premium Notices for some of my Policies. The result is that some Policies lapsed and I had to get them revived at some additional cost. In other Policies I have had to pay extra costs. I am aware that it is my duty as a policy holder to keep a track of due dates on my Policy but since these are yearly mode policies, it becomes difficult to keep a track. Also it is surprising that I have not been receiving Premium Notices for several years now on only some of my Policies. My complaints to LIC have fallen on deaf years.
I would like to know what Recourse I have. Also I would like to know if LIC is obliged to send Premium Notices to its Policy Holders or is it just a service provided.

POLICY — non receipt of premium

Hello Sir/Madam,

This is Shabana, sir we are paying our policy payments through syndicate bank a/c to lic of india directly from the bank to your account. Though every premium is getting cleard from the bank but we are not getting the receipt of our premium slips. Kindly look into the matter and reply me as soon as possible as I have to submit my I.T returns. Or tell me the procedure if at all I can take it through online these receipts.

LIC — Non Receipt of LIC Premium

I have paid premium for my mother's policy on 31st March 2009 but have not received the premium receipt yet. The policy no is[protected].The amount is already debited from my ICICI bank account but premium is not received yet

My police no is[protected] till started on 15/09/2008 i havnt any recipt of my lic account and every month deducted balance in axis bank account by ECS .

LIC — Non receipt of premium notices as well policies status

Polices from Lic i have not getting renewal notices from Company and status of all my policy

All are in Lapsed status ,No advisor or company agent has helped me in the situation , i have around 5 policies taken so far and most of them are more than 10 Years old also I have paid premium till 2007 also.
