As all o[censored]s know that due to various market conditions all the housing loan agencies including LICHFL have reduced the interest rates to much lower rate on their housing loan schemes being given to new
customers whereas my existing interest rate is still being maintained at 11%.

This practice is totally unfair and unethical. This is like luring new customers on lower interest rate and than chaniging it to higher rate after some time.

As a consequences, I'm paying higher EMI and interest on my home loan resulting into major increased financial burden.

I totally agree with you. They (LIC Housing finance) trap you with lower interest rate first and once you are their customer then they will start to increase the rate without your knowledge (It has happened to me, they have increased my interest rate twice without any communication). Other issue with LICHFL is there is no disclosure current of interest rate on internet so every time you need to know your current interest rate you need to call theri branch office and getting a person on phone is tough. I am feeling cheated by seeing their negative attitude towards the existing customers.

DONT BE JEALOUS AS THE INTEREST RATE OF 8.75% ON NEW LOANS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR 3 MONTHS. AFTER THAT THE NEW LOANS WILL ALSO BE CHARGED AT THE SAME RATE. WHAT A FANTASTIC METHOD OF BEFOOLOING BY A GOVT. FINANCIAL INSTITUTION. CAN SOMEBODY STOP SUCH MALPRACTICES.

They have declined for it.

I am also facing the same problem. Now the behaviour of the agents changes. They just keep on giving new dates that you would get the confirmation by this month and the next and the next.

Now they say that the duration of loan has been reduced by 3 yrs. But there is nothing on paper as of today. I am following this up for the last 4 months

    Online Premium receipt not generated

    Hi -

    I have paid online the premium for the policy number[protected] for Rs. 10, 110. But I have not got the digital receipt and error page was displayed. However my bank account was debited with the amount

    Transaction id is [protected] and the date is 15th Feb 2009.

    Please check and issue the preimum receipt.

    Kindly treat this as URGENT.

    I have one policy jeevan chhaya, I want to surrender the policy and for this I visited the kurla (W), mumbai branch several time but the staff to whom i had concerned with they are very non-cooperative except one and that is MADAM ANITA i have asked her several queries but she talk so politly and answered all my questions in a very good way, I really appriciate her nature of work.

      Dear sir,

      Myself Bhaskar Ranjan has to narrate that presently we are facing a lot due to negligence type behavior of LIC towards its customer. My father purchased a policy from LIC in May 91 with policy no.[protected]. Unfortunately he died in on 19th Dec'08 leaving is in a great mental agony.

      We informed yourself at that time through the agent from whom my father had taken the policy about demise of my father for getting claims.

      Now after around 1 month of claim LIC is saying that as this policy was used as a guranty of one SBI loan my father took in July 2003, although it is already paid in 2007 and we have the no dues certificate, we need to submit succession certificate of my father.

      Before i want to add that my mother is the nominee in the above stated policy.
      Now the thing is even then the nominee is clearly mentioned in the policy paper your team is delaying the money settlement by ccreating the new thing to produce succesion certificate.

      We all know that i takes around 6 months to get a succession certificate along with so much followups in court.

      I am presently posted in Kolkata, therefore it is very difficult for me to get in touch with the LIC office at Dumka, Jharkhand and the agent who helped us to get the policy is also not giving any help. Due to belief only; my father, myself and my mother and my ssiters has taken policies by the same agent only; and now we are getting such reward for the same.

      Subject: Death Claim problems
      Dear sir,

      Myself Alok Sharma has to narrate that presently we are facing a lot due to negligence type behavior of LIC towards its customer. My Mother purchased policies with policy no.[protected] &[protected]. Unfortunately she died in on 1st of may due cardio pulmonary arrest secondary to NIDDM & drug reaction.

      We informed yourself at that time through the agent from whom my Mother had taken the policy about demise of my Mother for getting claims.

      Now after around 1 Year of claim LIC is asking me her leave application and Medical certificate now i am submitting medical certificate as LIC asked and the leave application i have already submitted 1 year before at the time of claim with four year leave details by the signature of civil surgeon.

      I am presently in Mumbai, therefore it is very difficult for me to get in touch with the LIC office at Hazaribagh, Jharkhand and the agent who helped us to get the policy is also not giving any help.

      So please take some action and help me out of this problem and i shall be very obliged if do so.

          LIC-JEEWAN DHARA ANNUITY — NON-PAYMENT OF ANNUITY CHEQUES BY THE BANK

          I have post dated monthly cheques of LIC for anuity pYment of my Jeewan Dhara Policy No. [protected]. Banker of LIC(SBI) had rejected the cheque of July-09 twice. The matter had been reffered to LIC in July-09. On demand copy of the cheque and bank memos have been sent to North Central Zonal office Kanpur. Even after three reminders there is no compliance so far.

            Dear Sirs,

            My mother Mrs. Kumudini Bala had taken a LIC policy under "Varistha Pension Bima Yojana" scheme.
            Policy no.[protected] dt. 28.03.2004. Unfortunately my mother expired on the 18th of March 2008. We have hence, applied for refund of the policy money to the nominee which is myself. All the required documents along with uncashed cheques were submited to LIC on 15th Nov. 2008, for which LIC has given a receipt .

            I have followed up the matter several times and was ultimately assured that all the papers and cheques were located in the concerned officers office drawer. I am sorry to state that till date I have received no refund amount from LIC. Asking for a refund money after mothers death is in itself a work of deep agony & runing for the matter is still more pathetic.

            Sir, please give a serious attention into the matter and do the needful as I fail to understand the unability of LIC to refund the due .

            LIC- OF PENSION — REFUND

            i was getting my pension ref no. [protected], and that was credit to my HDFC Bank .
            But in Last March 17/03/2020 Bank has return the amount Rs. 7008/ with the remark Title Differ. As the transfer was made in the name of Praveen Kumar Sidhra. As my Bank Acount has the Name as Praveen Sidhra. Now I have made the correction in my bank, as now my Name there is Praveen Kumar Sidhra.You rare requested to send the transfer again .(ESC CR LIC OF INDIA VILE PA - [protected] OF 17/03/2010)

How is it possible to encash the cheque being an account payee. Sir kindly solve this problem at the earliest and issue my cheque.                 i have taken housing loan of Rs.12 lacs in Dec'08, at that time the rate of interest @ 11.25 (Floating), from last month the rate of interest for new customers they provided @9%, but for exiting customers like us are not enjoying the new rates. what we have done the mistake, why we can't enjoy the new low rates.
                this is not fair for the customers.again on the same side if the interest rate goes up they will increase the rate of interest from immd. effects. i request you pls. look in this matter immd.

                I agree with you, I have also taken loan in nov2008 @ 11.5 % and I m not getting any benefit of new rate of interest. I wil talk to them and try to switch loan from any other bank in couple of months and before that I would suggest everybody to don't go with LICHFL and try to raise the issue in media also.

                I completely agree with you. I am also a victim. In fact most of the banks are doing the same and Govt is not checking it. The behavior of Govt is ridiculous. If govt wants RBI can pose measures/restrictions for these bank., but its not doing it simply because Congress is ruling and they make money out of private banks and private banks are looting the common man. Please never ever vote for Congress. When BJP was in power, interest rate was less and the cabinet know how to use power. They were pretty quick to resolve such issues, but congress doesn't show any interest, but is making money in all this game.

                Yes. I also agree the same. Why this biased way of calculating interest for the old customer and new customer? Can governement give the answer for this or will they take any steps and standardize the interest rate for all?

                Or should the old customers would be punished by calculating high rate of interest obtained loan from LIC?
                All,

                Grass on the other side looks greener. The lower interest rate for new customers is only the trap. The lower rate that they give to new customers is fixed for 3 months and then later they link it to PLR and then it is same for all. LIC staff never disclose these details and never agrees to it even if asked for.

                So eventually after 3 months the new customers also joins the group of frustrated consumers!

                  Cheque no 674371 of Rs. 60, 000/- issued by LIC as surviving benefit amount for my LIC policy no. 11264221 has been returned by LIC's bank due to insufficient funds in their account. This is very inconvenient n harassing for me.

                  I've requested LIC to issue me a bank draft with the interest accrued for this delay.

                    Sir,

                    I have entered into a sale agreement with an LIC Housing Finance Ltd.'s client to buy his property. I have applied for a takeover loan with UCO Bank and got an in-principle sanction letter from them, subject legal vetting, which includes checking of original sale deed lying with LICHFL. When I approached LICHFL, Saidapet, Chennai office along with my vendor, with a requisition letter from him (vendor) to allow UCO Bank's panel advocate to see the original in order to enable them to release funds, we were told that LICHFL does not show original sale deed to other bank's panel advocate. The vendor has in fact enclosed a copy of the sanction letter I got from UCO Bank and a copy of sale agreement.

                    I request you to do the needful in this regard since I can proceed further in this matter only when they allow UCO Bank's panel advocate to peruse the originals.

                    I have applied for six lakhs of house construction loan at Tambaram, HFL somewhere on 18 Jun 09.They informed that with in ten working days it will be processed and give a call on me.Though the verification/Inspection etc were carried out, as on date no information on present position as to it is sanctioned Or pending for want of any documents/other inquiry.My application/Account number is: 610082.

This time also when I started my new project for purchasing a flat again I chose only LICHFL because I am experienced already with the kind gesture of LICHFL people. The flat builder also suggested me to apply a loan from HDFC wherein there is a possibility of 100% refund of processing fee if loan is not taken. Inspite of that I chose only LICHFL because you are all there to help and guide me.

                    I request you to consider my case and release the balance payment as early as possible so that it would be helpful for me to clear the loan taken outside for my father's operation.

                    My loan account no[protected], have applied loan or Rs. 17 Lakhs of which utilisation made by me is Rs. 13, 50, 000/- till last month i.e., Dec' 2011 ECS debit made in my account was Rs. 10, 687.50/- and for the current month ie., jan 2012 loan dept as operated to swipe Rs. 16, 130/- without any prior notification for the increase in ECS due to which ECS got returned and caused black mark for my banking transaction.


                    I sincerely request the loan department not to upset the customer credibility, this type of activity really annoys the customer very badly when bank statements with the bd records are being forwarded for my orther personal use. Need proper action for the damage caused.

                      In 2003 there was a change in management, the new management decided not to continue with LIC group gratuity scheme and they requested LIC to close the account.                       As per the communication from your end from Feruary 1, 2009 I should receive Rs. 2000/= in Union Bank of India, Adalaj Baranch. So far I have not received it.                       Varishtha Pension Bima Yojana — Non-payment of monthly pension

                      I took a policy No.[protected] on 22.06.2004 for Rs.2,66,665.00 with the the Life Insurance Corporation of India with the understanding that an amount of pension of Rs.2000/- would be paid to me every month. Since my taking the policy, I used to receive cheques in advance for 12 months. The system was running very smoothly and I did not face any problem. But in February,2009, I received a letter No.EZO/CRM/IPP/NEFT dt.06.02.2009 from the Regional Manager (CRM), LICI, Eastern Zonal Office Kolkata, advising me that as per the guidelines of RBI, henceforth no payment will be made in cheque and instead of that "account to account Fund transfer" will take place on real time basis. Accordingly, to enable them to switch over to new system, they advised me to submit some particulars on the prescribed proforma , duly filled in and counter-signed by my Bank branch. I, therefore, submitted the pro-forma, duly filled in and counter-signed by my Bank branch, in the first part of April, 2009. But despite my submitting the pro-forma, I was not getting the monthly pension of Rs.2000/- credited to my bank account. I, due to non-receipt of pension, wrote a registered letter No.2944 dt.27.08.2009, requesting the Regional Manager, LICI, Eastern Zonal Office, Kolkata to remit the monthly pension from April,2009 as early as possible. But as no action has been taken on my said letter, I sent another registered letter No. 7873 dt.14.09.2009, enclosing a duplicate copy of the prescribed pr-forma, duly filled in, signed and counter-singed by my Bank branch, with a request to the LICI Authority to release the pension with arrears from April,2009 But uptil date, the pension amount has not been credited to my account. I explained to them that I am an old man of 65 years of age and my monthly livelyhood mostly depend on this pension . But all my letters and prayers are in vain . The LICI does not bother to remit my pension lest responding to my letters.
                      I, therefore, finding no other alternative, knocking at your door for help and requesting you to take up the matter with appropriate authority of LICI so that an old man can survive with the meagre pension.

                        Good Morning

                        My Policy Number[protected], On 02.02.2009 i paid my premium online from LIC portal & confirmation of premium paid is Successfull on my Bank side (Print Out of that is available), but receipt is not generated.

                        I compliant so many times to concerned officer in Delhi & Mumbai Branch, Also my NIT Faridabad Branch. But no such action taken.

                        After three days receipt is availbale under my USER Id & also i am getting e-mail from there end.

                        But both receipt is not valid.

                        Receipt available my User Id - Damaged & can't even opened.

                        E-mail Receipt is having Invalid Digital Signature.

                        I again complaint so many times but i am not getting my correct copy of receipt.

                        Please do the needful at earliest.

With due respect, I have the honour to submit that I have applied for housing loan for buying house from UP Awas Vikas Parishad(Vrindavan Pariyojna), from your esteemed organization during Jun 08/July 08 through your Associate Mr Rajesh Pandey. Towards, availing this loan I paid a sum or Rs.1774/- + Rs.5620/-(Total – Rs.7394/-) in cash to Mr Rajesh Pandey. The processing of loan got delayed as I was not getting required loan on my existing income so I was advised to get my brother’s name added in the property. Even after getting it done it could not meet your formalities then I agreed to avail the loan admissible on my existing income, which was processed at your end.

                          3. In the meanwhile, I took retirement from Indian Navy and joined an IT Firm Pel Softlabs Pvt Ltd as HR Officer. I was refused the loan as I did not inform you about the change of my employment status, which I accepted and I have literally begged or pleaded you over telephone to help me out and get my present employment status verified again and grant the loan as it was costing me a huge interest but you have declined saying that it is against our norms.

                          4. At last, I requested Mr Rajesh Pandey to get loan application cancelled and refund the processing fee after deducting the administrative charges. He has returned only Rs.3000/- against Rs.7394/-. May I know the breakdown of Rs.4394/- which have been deducted? I had a great faith and trust in the name of LIC about it transparency and fair system.

                              we are very lower middle class family from jamshedpur, we wanted to do small investment, we spoke to one agent mr ashok his AGENT CODE 9722-54 his mobile number is [protected] and asked to invest in single premium (not regular premium) of amount Rs 25000-00 in four policies totalled to amount Rs[protected] which policy numbers are[protected]/4/5/6. sir after one year we got to know that agent has put our policies for regular premium till 5 years without any intimation to us. sir we are poor people we cannot continue further and not in condition to suffer loss of Rs[protected].please help to recover our money and take neccessary action against agent.

                                  2. As per provisions in the policy, 15 per cent of sum assured, shall be paid to our registered bank accounts through NEFT after 03 years, i.e.on 28.04.2017.
                                  3. NEFT has been registered with LIC for each policy mentioned above and acknowledged by LIC.
                                  4. Though almost two months passed after the scheduled date, your CAB branch has not yet paid the amount, which has caused unnecessary harassment and financial loss to me as a sr.citizen with not much scope to earn and manage family.

                                  You are requested to enquire the matter and arrange for release of my overdue amount with penal interest from the person responsible, at the earliest.

                                    it's my husband's policy.I paid on 22/12/2007 Rs.6425 & Rs.2000 on 19/11/2007.I got Rs.7725 recpt. on 20/02/2008.my agent code is 00901921 & name is Anil Tari.he gave me RS.6150 by chq.He cut the amt RS.2275 showing medical chg. Rs. 590+ proposal chg.Rs. 150+ riskcoverchg.Rs.1535 Total amt is RS.2275. agent din't give us this amount.what step will you take againt lic agent?What about our money?Let me know as eariler as possibal
