Dear Sir, I got Louis watch through my citi bank credit card offer from AVA Merchandising Company of New Delhi on April 7, 2008. They have charged 490 Rs against this. But when i opened it, there is not any single document enclosed with it, there is no description of this watch like its gurantee period, its service centers also there is not any serial no on the watch. I GOT THE SAME WATCH IN SAME CONDITION AND CALLED BACK TO AVA TOLL FREE NO AND ASKED ABOUT THE SAME, , THEY PROMISED THAT IF I FOUND ANY DEFECT ON THE WATCH WITHIN 1 YEAR, AND FOUND DEFECT IN BATERY WITHIN 2 YEARS, JUST I NEED TO CALL THIS NO ONLY AND ASK FOR THE SAME...THEY WOULD SEND A PERSON TO COLLECT THE WATCH WITHIN 7 DAYS AND WITHIN 10 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF COLLECTION THEY WOULD SEND REPLACES WATCH... I was about to order the Louis Quartz watch, wihch was an offer when I got a Credit Card from CITIBANK. I agree to all the complaints, and am thankful that I got to read all the comments and complaints. Both CITIBANK and AVA are crooks and swindlers, fooling people for their own gains. This is definitely not the way to do business. After this incident, I guess I'll change my banker to ICICI and stop any transactions with CITIBANK.!!
I was also given a scratch coupon (for Louis Quartz Model: K11, product code 890) and when I scratched it, I was delighted to know that I was the winner. Then I asked to immediate side passenger, he said he is also winner. I further asked to few more passengers and most of them I asked were winner. I then given doubt to this deal/product that how come a company afford to offer these many numbers with this much discounted rate. So I thought its better check it on website and then to go for order. Now when I was checking all this previous posts, my doubt is no more doubt, its confirmed that this is something like fake product…
Today I too got a offer abt the the discounts and free products which are for citi cerdit card customers. I wanted to go for Louis watch. But I thought of initially checking if that product really exists. after seeing all your comments/feedback, I decided not to go with these crappy offers. Also, I am writing to citi bank to not to promote these useless offers.,

I just got a mail from citibank regarding the same offer, I wanted to pay 490 and get the watch for my brother in laws birthday . I was just looking for the brand name and original price of the product. I am thankful to you all for saving me from this scrap.

I was travelling with my daughter by jetlite on 6th May Kolkata to Bangalore. Both me and my daughter were declared winners by scratching the cards. As the Bangalore Airport counter of jetlite was running out of stock for the particular product we were advised to order for the same through the toll free number, mentioned at the back of the scratch card. I have even be a fool enough to give my credit card number to the person at the other end of the toll free number. Now after reading allthese stuff, i am feeling very apprehensive. How do i withdraw my order now?

Many thanks to all the people who have put their notes on this site. Maybe we cannot stop such fraudulent activites from taking place but can certainly help each other by spreading awareness. I got the same offer through Jetlite yesterday and am happy that i went through the site before ordering the product.

I, along with my family took a jetlite flight frm bangalore to hyderabad yesterday and I was offered 3 scratch cards and suprisingly I won a watch worth around 4000, pearl set worth 2000 and reebok bag worth 1000 accorindgto the details printed on those scratch cards i.e there was a prize on all the three scratch cards. I was excited to claim the gifts after disembarking the flight and I did take it by paying 980 ( 490 for watch and 490 for pearl set, reebok bag looked very cheap and I dont think its original so I didnt opt for it) . When I came home and searched for the brand name of watch in net I could hit only complaints here and brand is no where visible. Jetlite and AVA are selling some nameless products by quoting heavy MRP under the disguise of offering heavey discount.
People are being taken for ride by Jetlite and AVA, I am still puzzled why jetlite needs to do this to spoil their image themselves.
I paid 490 for a watch which is not even worth 300 I guess, this is pure cheating. I have abserver that more or less everybody ahs won and all of them have won only these cheap, brandless and nameless products, I didnt come across anybody who has won either philips, samsung, swatch or other branded stuff. Intrestingly it was written on scratch card that in case the prizes won are from these branded stuff tickets need to be sent to a given address and then the gifts will be sent home.
This itself shows their how they are fooling the customers, jetlite together with Ava is disposing all the cheap stuff, I think such cheap tricks should be put to an end .

Banks like citi bank makes a relation with such companies who fool others is very bad.I also ordered a watch on 17 th of april but till now I have not received anything.I have mails from there end but there is no positive response .Money was deducted on very first day and when ever I call them they say that product was dispatched on 12 th of may Why the money was deducted on very first day.If AVA merchandising is fraud then citi bank is a big fraud who maintains the relation with these type of companies and fool the people

Please make all your compliants on your personal credit card login to citi bank credit card division and ask why can't you can claim on them. And ask clear explanation from this type of promotions. It will make diffenately good change in their credit card division for card holders in future.

i got the watch through ava but no gaurantee papers via jet lite scrach card.
I have also been fooled yesterday on my flight from srinagar to delhi on june8, 2008. I also thought that i am lucky but now only solace is that i am not the first one and probably not the last one also.If something can be done should be done. I am ready to support anybody who takes initiative.
