Hi, I am Ankur marwaha my phone number is [protected] I booked a flight from Bangalore to Delhi from MakeMyTrip.com booking reference number NF[protected]. For One Adult and One Infant. I selected the flight 'Makemytrip special' which was showing ZERO fare for the infant and Rs 4626 (Total) for the Adult. While entering the Details of the Passenger it did not asked me details of the Infant and only the flight for the Adult was booked. Now MakeMyTrip.Com is not accepting this as there mistake and forcing me to buy a ticket for Infant which I would have got for free when I was booking the ticket on 11th Jan 2012. I would request you to take action against MakeMyTrip. I have made numerous calls to them But did not got any answer from them.

Your representative called a gave a useless revert saying that we cannot book an infant Ticket. We got the ticket for INFANT booked directly with GO AIR. This is the worst revert I Could have received. Your site is still having this error and I have document to prove this. I am not satisfied with you response. Hello, I am trying to book a flight on makemytrip.com continously since last evening.

They have "MakeMyTrip Special" fare section, from where I am trying to book a flight from Bangalore to Mumbai for 3 adults, 1 child and 1 infant for 5th March 2012 departing 19:05 - 22:05. Everytime I book the flight, amount is being charged to my credit card but the ticket booking is getting failed. I tried booking the ticket for another date/time under "MakeMyTrip Special" fare. but still the same result. Since last evening I have booked the ticket 7 times under "MakeMyTrip Special" and everytime my credit card got charged and ticket booking got cancelled.

All the 7 failed booking IDs are as follows.

I am really frustrated about this. Do their "MakeMyTrip Special" fare section actually works or they have kept it to FOOL people, collect money and use it for sometime before refunding it. This is really shameful of MakeMyTrip. If its the failure on their IT operations team's part then they should be embarassed to have these kind of working for them.

I need to understand whether "MakeMyTrip Special" fare is actually valid, if yes then how it works. Please dont direct me to some section of the website to read FAQs, I have already seen it and reached till booking the ticket but your useless system couldnt book the ticket.
I would have actually gone ahead and booked my flight today for one adult (myself) - Delhi to Bangalore for INR 4471 for travel after Holi. A good deal by all means. But, then I tried googling / checking on passengers who had actually used this special fare service in the past. Unfortunately, all I see are the posts above. This is concerning. Has anything been done by Makemytrip to rectify above ? I would be very wary to buy until I hear something positive (actually none of my neighbors / colleagues have used this yet so I have to rely on forums).

How long has it been for Makemytrip since they started running these special fares. In my opinion this would be a 'sticky' feature for the company to keep making their customers coming back to their site and book with them, instead o[censored]sing them (as in the past) to just price shop and leave to book elsewhere.

Sincerely hope this program starts working for passengers, since the deals are good, and no reason (barring the technicalities) for it to not work. It is Makemytrip.com after all. However, for now I am holding off to start using them until someone else does.

    my Booking ID for make my Trip. is IN1110B12695. I have booked package tour for Kanyakumari from 25th Dec 2011 to 27th Dec 2011 with MMT on 23rd Oct 2011 by paying Rs 18366/- ( 12366 towards hotel and rest rs 6000/- for vehicle for 3 days ) The vehicle was supposed tio pick me at nagercoil on 25 th Dec at 0900 hrs and then 3 days sight seeing in around Kanyakumari and on 27th Dec dropping at KK Rly station at 1500 hrs. But on 20th Dec 2011 , The vendor ( who was supposed to provide me vehicle) informed me that he is not in position to provide vehicle at Kanyakumari for above period due to certain reason. So I informed MMT and requested to make alternate arrangements. Suddenly on 24th Dec 2011 around 1015 hrs, Mr Dilip of MMT informed me that MMT was not able to provide us the vehicle and MMT would be refunding Rs 6000 with in 10 days by crediting money to my credit card account. But they have not done. Now since 8th January 2011, I am sending e mails to MMT regarding refund of my Rs 6000/- + intrest wef 23rd Oct 2011+ harassment charges but there is no response.

    Now I am bringing this matter to consumer complaint on line . Please help me in this matter .

    I had a bad experience with makemytrip.com..I have booked a flight ticket for Mumbai to South Africa and i was getting a very poor service from the customer care. When i call first for the extension of my ticket i was told that the amount extra charge will be 3200 and thEn when proceed with the payment it got disconnected, and when call back they tell me that they will charge 7200 i still agree to pay the amount but still they charged 3200RS+7200RS. so 3200RS was extra charge for what ? when i try to call the customer care i was told that they cannot assist because their system is not working ..And when I call again they told me that they will give me back 3200 within 7 days, and one thing this is the worst service i have ever seen .

      I had made my booking through make my trip for Funtastic Thailand in the month of december.

      Below are my booking details:

      Booking ID: IN1109B13586

      I wanted to avail the cash back offer for international travels offered by make my trip. I had been in contact with Sumit Chaudhary & Neha Mehta(Initially) from operation team, who helped me to pay the payment through IVR and he informed me that I will be getting cash back in 7 working days.

      After 15 days of my travel, I contacted Make My Trip operation team[Sumit Chaudhary] asking the reason for not receiving the cash back. He simply IGNORED the calls initially and then one day Sumit Chaudhary picked the call and requested me to provide the credit card details & he will get back to me soon with the reasons.

      After one week I again contacted Sumit Chaudhary and this time it was shocking to see he either didnt picked the call or when I call him he simply laughs or pretend that he is NOT Sumit Chaudhary. This is very shameful & disappointing how they treat their customers.

        I Booked a ticket from makemytrip, where i have promo code from my icici credit,
        So i conform with booking agent that, how much cash back i will get, he replied me that 6% cash back on base-fare.

        As per booking cost was 55,000. and base fare was 40,000, so cash-back is 2400. i got only 1000 rs cash back.
        When i contact them they told me 1000 rs is upper limit so maximum 1000 rs is refunded.

        While booking i conform that i will get total 2400 rs as cash back.

          I have a booking from Bangalore to Chicago through MakeMyTrip. I opted to change of travel date in the ticket as I was sick with Viral fever. They are charging service charge of postponing the ticket + MakeMyTrip charge + ticket fair difference. MakeMyTrip representative confirmed that sending the medical certificate would help in waiving off the service charge for change of date. I spent so much effort in scanning and sending the medical certificate though I was sick. Now, they claim that they do not consider medical certificate. While I was asking about this, they are intentionally disconnecting the call if they were unable to answer my question. I got totally pissed off with their customer service and most of the times, they claim that the machines are not working.

          Please do not go for makemytrip for booking any tickets. The customer service sucks !

            i had purchased 4 round trip tickets total 8 tickets under buy 1 get 1 free scheme when i was buying the ticket their executive called me saying their system was down and sent me a link for payment and he said yes u are eligible for the same after several talks with them they are refusing the same my booking reference id with them is

              I would like to draw your attention towards anomaly in my refund money for Transaction ID NF[protected] for the ticket taken on 2nd Jan 2012 from makemytrip. The ticket was for 3rd Jan from Spicejet. The invoice sent to me was wrong as they charged me 2600 Rs more than the total sum of 3 passengers ticket price.

              The total amount paid for 3 passengers by me was 25249.00 Rs. Due to some personal issues, I cancelled the tickets on 2nd Jan, the same day..
              To my great surprise I found that the total refund by Makemytrip is 9805 Rs only (as reflected on your website). As per the rules, I am expecting 22249.00 Rs. return (after 3000 rs deduction). Details are as under,

                This is in reference to our international booking for Bangkok.This is to tell you that since last three days we are trying to reschedule our connecting flight from Dhaka to Bangkok.But we r not getting proper response from make my trip.We r kept on hold for long hrs and then also the operators r not giving us the reply regarding our tickets booked.

                I would like to ask why we r being punished for having faith in make my trip and depositing the advance money.Believe it or not but it seems that the operators r only interested in getting new bookings and r least bothered for the satisfaction of existing already paid customers. Once the customer has deposited the amount he is thrown to luck for proper response.

                As for rescheduling our flight ,this is because of the software problem not ours.We made the two bookings at the same time(sheets attached).From our side we made the same click and same dates ie.3rd jan Dhakha to Bangkok.You can check the bookings in your flight calender also in which till now also it is showing flight on the same date .But in our mail we received the bookings for 4th jan from Dhakha to Bangkok.Since then we r trying to contact the executives of your company but each time there is a new operator who listens to our problem from start and then asks us to hold or sometimes to call back within half an hour. From last three days we r making follow up with the company but till now there is no reply from the make my trip team.

                Day before yesterday (Saturday night around 9.00 PM)one of the executive assured us that he has checked the bookings and have realised the software mistake.He assured us to send our revised tickets within 6 hrs. But till now we have not received any mail or tickets.

                I would again request make my trip team to look into the matter and send us the revised tickets as half of our family is in the evening flight to Bangkok on3rd Jan. Our hotel bookings are also from 3rd jan onwards.

                So, kindly send us the revised tickets.

                  I booked a Bus ticket from Mumbai to Ahmedabad on 02nd Dec 2011 for journey on 02nd December itself, after booking the ticket I came to know the cancellation charges that 0-14 Hrs was 100%. I cancelled the ticket immediately. I didnot get the refund on the ground that there was less than 14 hours left. the point is that if the cancellation charges was known to us I would not have booked the ticket.

                    Its a full 420 company. They have crossed all the limits. Before they were issuing fake confirmations and now the have started displaying hotel on their web site which does't exist. They have displayed a Hotel named Bhagwati International for destination Mount Abu, Also the address is given Near Bus stand, Mount Abu, Rajasthan. But I wonder their is no such Hotel. It is in Abu road. 30 kms away down the hill from Mount Abu. Cheaters.....

                    My name is vivek malik and i was offered a special package by your team regarding travel to india and outside comprising some gift vouchers and other benefits. I paid Rs 7,719 on March 30 for this package and I was told i will receive the detailed info about the package soon. But no document has reached me yet. Kindly do the needful.                     Myself Akshay Dongre (Reference ID[protected], with a deep regret, I would like to mention that Make my trip (MMT) is noting but a FRAUD Company.



                    I tried booking a ticket from Delhi to Mumbai on 18/6/10 via Make my Trip’s website. After going through various formalities and payment process an error occurred on the website page. No booking Id was provided to me in spite of making payment on your website. When I made a call to the toll free no of MMT, I was informed that the amount has not been credited in your account. You people told me that if you receive my money then the same as per your company’s policy will be refunded to my account within 5 working days. I went to my bank for the same and was assured that if MMT has not received the amount the same will be credited automatically to my account by the end of the same day.



                    Next day on checking my account I found out that the money has not been received as directed by my bank. I again made a query to them (my Bank) and they asked me to check with MMT for the same.

                    Sir, there I spoke to N number of Telecallers from MMT and then finally to Ms. Ranjita Mohapatra who asked me to mail my Bank Statement to MMT and assured me of brief enquiry. After sending the same in Excel format on 6/21/2010 I waited for feedback but in vain. Next day on calling you people, I was informed that I am supposed to send the same in PDF format. Now tell me that if my Bank (ICICI) itself is not providing it in PDF, then what can I do? Secondly I don’t have a PDF convert in my computer system, so I was helpless.



                    After two-three days I was informed that you people have not received any money during that transaction in your account. So I went back to my Bank for the same and was assured to revert by 72 hours.

                    I want to know that if you people have not received my money right from day one and you are aware of the booking done by me, then why the hell you want to see my Bank Statement?



                    On 25/06/2010 I was informed by my Bank that the money was credited to MMT account on 19/06/2010 which was later confirmed by you tell callers. When I made several calls to escalate the matter to the senior management I was denied the same. Sir, is it really so difficult to reach you and give a proper feedback. Final attempt was made to reach you and was again denied by Ms.Kirti Bhatia on 26/06/2010.



                    I have already registered my complaint with MMT and the reference ID is IN1006B08196



                    § Tell me that if MMT’s policy is to refund the customers money within 5 working days then till date why I have not received the money?



                    § Why do you need to see the customer’s Bank details when you can access the booking details on your system itself?



                    § Why do you need to SEVEN days to transfer the amount when you take money for booking on real time basis?



                    § Keeping somebody else’s money with you for 7 days and earning/gaining interest on that amount seems to be your business strategy?



                    Sir, I would like to inform you that my brother too have suffered the same when he booked the tickets for the same route on 16/06/2010. As he was using State Bank of India’s account and was denied the booking he asked me to rebook using my ICICI Account. His Bank account too was debited and was not provided with any booking ID or Ticket. After making many calls to your toll free number the amount was finally credited to his account that to after 4 days.



                    When I searched on internet, I came across many customer complaints with Consumer Forum against Make my Trip. Let me show these if MMT play such dirty games. Let them be ashamed of themselves. If you don't believe what I'm saying, see the links below.

                    I had tried booking ticket online on "9/8/2013. In the process i faced a problem during the payment i.e Payment gateway issue which blocked the payment meantime i got the call from makemytrip customer support who initially knew the problem what i was facing (I did not call him neither i expressed the problem i faced). he suggested the alternate mode of payment and helped me in good manner and after making the payment i get the tickets in which they have changed my travel dates and made to pay penalty sum of 1500 for making the correction. what an easy way to make money.

                        I had cancelled my flights (worth Rs7800) which i had booked through makemytrip. The booking date and the cancellation date were the same: 8Sep,2011. An amount of Rs 6000 was to be refunded to me by deducting a cancellation fee of Rs 1800.
                        Initially i was refunded Rs7800 but then later Rs 4800 were again debited from my account without my permission. The authorization to debit is only made for one time payment, how is this possible that makemytrip could debit from my account twice and that too an amount of Rs 4800 instead of Rs1800. This is fraud.
                        My troubles were not yet over. I mailed and called them several times in the following 40 days. They mailed me that my money would be refunded to me on two different occassions, i was told to wait for 14-21 days both times, but this was never done on both occassions adding to my helplessness and discomfort.
                        Ever since i am waiting for an answer but they didn't even bother to reply. Clearly they didn't think that this was their obligation to be fair to their loyal customer.
                        As an online customer i can only call or mail them in case of discrepancies and thats's why they have taken their customers for granted.
                        So now i have no other choice but to go to consumer forum regarding this online fraud that makemytrip is a part of and thinks that it can escape on deceiving and harrassing its customers.
                        Please take a notice of this and help me to make makemytrip pay for my desparation, discomfort and harrassment.

                          Make my trip booking ID - IN1110B09709

                          I have done the booking and got the above mentioned ID. This is regarding a Kerala package trip. I have paid Rs 54,000/- in advance (100%). On the said date of departure, the flight got cancelled. There was no alternate arrangement neither there was any clarity about how to take it forward.

                            While trying to print the E Ticket of my MakeMyTrip Booking ID: NF[protected], i noticed that the name of the infant was showing as the name of one of the adult traveler. So i called up the Customer Support service and was advised by one ignorant exec that the name of the infant cannot be corrected and that i need to cancel the ticket and book again. And thenshe helped me cancel one Adult and one Infant ticket .

                            Another ticket was booked for 1 Adult and 1 infant on the same flight. Booking ID IN1111B00159. This time AGAIN the names were same on the eticket. When i contacted the booking officer, another english speaking nut case, she told me that in case of an Infant the Ticket has the same name as that of the accompanying adult.

                            So I spoke with their supervisor and he promised to revert with a response. He never did.

                            Raised a complaint to [protected]@MakeMyTrip.Com. A Reference ID[protected] was assigned.

                            On 5th Nov, got a reply - we would like to inform you that we have forwarded your case to our concerned department to validate the information based on the call recording. We request you to provide us 72 working hours to resolve your query.

                            No response till now. That was my last transaction with these FRAUDS.

                              I tried making two transactions on 9th Nov. Both of these transactions failed (Id's - NF[protected] and NF[protected]. Each transaction was worth Rs.18,638/-. After each failed transaction, I called "MakeMyTrip" to inform them about the same and get a confirmation on the failure. Each time I was told that my refund will be processed in 3 working days. After 3 working days, I started following up with the customer care department of "MakeMyTrip" and received vague replies like "it's pending", "need to check with our accounts deptt.", "check with your bank since it's cleared from our side". I checked with my bank (HDFC Bank) and they provided me a reply that they have not received any amount from "MakeMyTrip" to credit in my account. I also provided my bank statement to "MakeMyTrip" twice to facilitate this issue. My personal banker from HDFC Bank is ready to get on a conf call with "MakeMyTrip" too. I have been calling "MakeMyTrip" almost every alternate day and it's more than 10 working days now but I have not received any concrete answer on the whereabouts of my money.

                              It has been an extremely frustrating and harassing experience for me to deal with "MakeMyTrip" and I shall never ever recommend anyone to use it in future and neither will I use it. Especially the customer care center is extremely rude in their discussions and have not at all been helpful till now.

                              Kindly let me know how can I recover my hard-earned money.

                                Our Booking ID number IN1109B10892 we booked a holiday package for Andaman Nicobar in the month of september, we spoke with Mr Debashsih pathak got the bookings done, but that was the begining of our misery since then no information has been correctly provided to us, we have been asking for a complains number but no one is helping us people hang up on us, our flight is on 19th november we have infant 1 and a half years old and we had booked a standard package and they are not willing to provide us even food and only dinner once our filght lands in banglore which is approximately in (9:00 am) and no body is responding to mails none of the phone numbers are working and they do not have a complaints departement to take complaint we are being mentally harrassed and our money is getting wasted.

                                  Our Make My Trip Booking ID No.NN[protected] dated 12th November 2011.

                                  We had booked a ticket on the 12th November 2011 for travel from Lawica(POZ) Poland to Brussels (BRU) via Warsaw for the 13th November 2011 through makemytrip.com -transaction amount was Rs.21915.00.

                                  We wanted to cancel this booking and do a new booking from Poland to Switzerland On 13th November 2011 we tried online where it mentioned the servers are down and we have to contact makemytrip over the phone. We contacted makemytrip for the same. They said that we can either change the date or cancel it, they can not make it an open ticket or change the sector as we wanted, this conversation happened at 9.18 a.m. with Milan ( ext 3056) after a talk of 46 min and 57 secs there was a disconnection of line .She called us back at 10.19 a.m. to book a new ticket , before booking we asked them for the details of cancellation for our existing booking.We were informed that if we change our date the charges would be 3950+500 ( airline +makemytrip) = 4450, and if we cancel the same we would be charged Rs. 10,000 as cancellation charge (inclusive of MMT charges) and we will get a refund of Rs.11,601only ( here no one informed that the cancellation has to be done before 2 hours of our flight departure). We agreed to the same and we did the new booking via MMT booking ID No.1111B07279 from Lawica (POZ) Poland to Zurich(ZRH) . Milan asked us to first book the new tickets as the flight time opted was 10.35a.m.from POZ(Poland) so we first booked the ticket. Soon after booking the ticket we asked for cancellation while we were on waiting the call got disconnected (this call duration was 37 min and 24 secs) approximately 6.15 a.m. as in Poland our flight was of 12.25 a.m.still we had 6 hrs and 10 min before the flight ,So we called back at 11.06 a.m.( 6.24 a.m. in Poland) and we had exactly 6 hrs and 04 min the customer care operators still did not take any action and asked us to call back after 2 hours stating that their server was down, we pleased them to do it as we do not want to delay , till now no one informed us that we are falling in short of time and they kept us on hold ( call duration was 23 min 15 secs) after that it got disconnected and we did not receive any call. We called back at 11.31 a.m. for the same, we were kept on hold ( call duration 6 min and 45 sec) and got disconnected , we called back again and again for the same and the timing details are as follows : [ 11.31a.m.( call duration 6 min and 45 sec),11.38a.m.( call duration 16mins50 secs) ; 11.54a.m., 11.55a.m.,11.56a.m. , 12.00p.m.,12.01p.m. ,12.04p.m., 12.05 p.m.( call duration 17 min 19 secs), 12.22 p.m. ( call duration of 6mins 18 secs) , 12.58 p.m.( call duration of 9min 34 secs),1.08 p.m.( call duration of 9 min.18 secs)], after trying so many times we tried to cancel the ticket directly with the airlines at Poland airport . They informed us that the ticket can be canceled till 2 hours prior to the departure, since we have got the ticket booked from agent named MakeMyTrip.com, we have to get it canceled through them only. We called back right after that but no one replied to us. In between we received an e-mail from MakeMyTrip department Mr.Balwant raj via Ref.ID No.[[protected]] xxlation inq dated 13th November 2011 at 12:32 PM stating that the connection is lost and to wait within 40 minutes we will get a call from the department.We waited .

                                  Then we called back at 3.00 p.m.( 10.30 a.m. in Poland still there was time left) we were on line for 21min and 12secs , here we spoke to Miss Nirmal who said us that the ticket was never refundable or cancelable, we should have done it 24 hours prior departure, that's when we said that we were informed about the cancellation in the morning, after that she said that she will lodge a complaint for call trace and we will get a reply within 48 hours along with our refund amt. Finally no one took effort to cancel the ticket till the end.

                                  Few of the customer care executives names we have spoken to are Milan Ext : 3056 , Monica ext:2460, Mr.Balwant raj , Miss Nirmal,

                                  Since there was no fault of ours in canceling the ticket and we sincerely followed all possible efforts to cancel the ticket and even after great efforts we could be able to connect to one of the executives from the cancellation department by name Monica and we clearly instructed her to cancel the ticket. She informed us due to their server problem it will take some time and she told to contact back after 2 hrs. Since then we have not received any confirmation of cancellation of the ticket.

                                  Till date neither we are getting connected to makemytrip.com nor our ticket is canceled nor we got the refund. Such bad are their services. Concerned authorities have to look into the matter to resolve the issue. Why are they acting as agents if they do not want to listen to the customers grievances.

                                    It's been a frustrating journey of awful experiences for me with MakeMyTrip. I have sent out numerous emails and made several phone calls on an issue requesting for justice. However, I wanted to summarize the series of events that happened to me over the past couple of months before proceeding to the next level from my end.

                                    On August 23rd, at the time of booking (Booking ID: XXXXXX), I had a chat conversation with Parveen Kumari (MakeMyTrip agent) requesting for a flight deal from SFO to HYD between Nov18-Jan2. During that chat, I had no idea about any visa requirements for UK Direct Airside transiting through immigration. Not even a single question was asked by the agent relating to my visa status and the usual stipulations set by UK border agency which is known to travel agents living in rest of the world. However, when I informed about my visa status to find out if its OK to travel through UK, I was informed incorrectly that there is no problem unless the journey time is more than 7 hours.

                                    There was a word "Valid" used in the entire chat conversation which some of the officials tried to use in favor of the agent to prove is not at fault. But, if you hear out the telephonic conversation happened immediately after the chat, I clearly expressed my concerns over transit visa requirements trying to find out if there are any stipulations. Never did the agent know/mention about the requirement in such cases.

                                    Hypothetically, let's assume the details were not completely provided from my end at the time of booking. But then after I came to know about the transit visa requirement through immihelp.com on August 29th, I called them up and provided every single detail to double-check. After several mistakes claiming I DONOT REQUIRE in this case, they finally communicated one RIGHT message that I require transit visa for this travel (for the first & last time) on Sep 8th, 2011. I have had several discussions over the chat and phone since then expecting to get proper guidance/justice on this case. I was always promised a call back, which never happened till date apart from few fire drills repeating the same message, which are of no use.

                                    Fed-up with the whole process, I checked with one of the travel agent on what the process is to apply for a transit visa, here comes BLUNDER#2. They directed me to a paper-based application which is obsolete and not the right way. British Consulate misplaced my original passport and visa documents for more than 3 weeks. If the agent had not known the process, It would be better of accepting ignorance than making me a BIG FOOL. I continued to beg to hear the call recording and it never happened. The information I got was that there is no such process to escalate an issue with MAKEMYTRIP. I can't believe there is one company like that. More Funnier thing is, the US Office suggests this case has to be handled by the Indian Department who made this booking and there are not responsible. How in the first place did my chat session got redirected to Gurgoan if I opened the website and selected United States as my country?

                                    Last but not the least, last week I finally got my passport back from the UK consulate (obviously without the transit visa stamped since paper is not the right form of applying) after 3 weeks of agony and mental stress, I called up MakeMyTrip to find out the money I would get refunded back had I cancelled this ticket. I was informed by a lady (I don't remember her name after speaking with more than 100 agents in the last 2 months - Can find it out referring to the calls between Nov 7-9) that I would get around 21000 INR (around $430-440 equivalent) because only the taxes are refundable. With that information, I started looking for other deals which are in my affordable range (after being forced to borrow money from friends & family) since this trip is very critical & crucial in my life.

                                    This morning (Nov-14 11am PST), I spoke to another person to confirm the cancellation. At that time, the biggest blunder BLUNDER#3 unveiled. I got to know that this ticket is non-refundable even on taxes and I would get $0 back out of this purchase. I maintained my patience over the last couple of months after several broken promises, incorrect messages & expectations, but there has to be a limit and TODAY is the limit. I cannot withstand this anymore. I know this is a very big complaint but that's the least I can do when I don't get calls/responses back from any of the responsible individuals sitting out there.

                                    I've also emailed the same information to [protected]@makemytrip.com quoting my Booking ID in the subject line, have also copied services, international bookings, share feedback and in escalations @ Makemytrip in the email chain.

                                    FYI - I was once again promised a call back which I'm not sure will happen before I take my flight to India on Nov 17th.

                                    These faulty promises and escalations have been going on for more than couple of months now. I hope they won't find an excuse that this has been escalated in the last minute and MakeMyTrip had no time to resolve/work on this issue. Anyways, my patience has already died down. Good Luck!

                                      Hello Narendra Kumar,

                                      You posted this complaint on the 11November and i am assuming that the agency must have resolved your query. If not then, it is a complete disaster at their part. If you booked your flight with the agency then it is their duty to assist you in such situations. A lesson my friend that it is not about a big name, any one can sell a flight, hotel or a package at a very good price(no rocket science) but it is post sale service whis is the most important factor.

                                      This the area where most of the agencies in India are far behind as compare to their counterparts abroad. It is nothing but a lack of a good regulator in this country to monitor these agencies.

                                      I would not comment on the money they make out of cancellation and date change penalty etc. even if it is an automatic system, as they are in the business to make money and not for charity, but post sales service is very important. Many agencies are lacking here.

                                      So Narendra i would advise to put it all in an email and send it to their c care, refund, sales manager etc.

Pre sales, travel agents they all sound our brothers and sisters, basically well wishers but post sales, they just don't want to know you.

                                      In india we do not have a regulator to monitor these agencies.

                                      Pen down your complaint and email it to the refund/c care and sales manager etc. I am sure they will respond to that email.
