[Resolved]  MCCAIN INFOSYS, Mumbai — non replacement of the product

Dear Madam/ Sir,

I had purchased a 250 GB transcend poratble (External) hard disk on 6th Frb 2009 from MCCAIN INFOSYS, Lamington road, Mumbai. The product claims 2 year replacement warranty. I have original receipt/ box/ instruction card (Everything). Please find the scanned copies attached with the mail.

The product stopped working within a few months and I clamied warranty on 2 Nov 2009. MCCAIN INFOSYS accepted my claim and gave me another receipt (No: 8312) asked me to contact after 25 days. ALmost 40 days have since elapsed they are very reluctant to fulfill the commitment. I have been continuosly to call up next day to check if a new piece is available. A visit to their shop confirms availabilty of multiple pieces. I feel cheated. Kindly guide me for taking further action.
