[Resolved]  Mobile Store — Offer from Nokia is not provided to customers by MobileStore..!!!

To the Concerned,

This is to bring into your notice, the irresponsible attitude shown from the Mobile store (Pattom, trivandrum,kerala).

Recently on Dec last week 2009, I have purchased E63 mobile from the Mobile store, and left the shop. When I called one of my friend just 30 mins after the purchase, he informed that there is offer for E63 handset from Nokia, with the BH 213 (blue tooth Headset) free woth 2900.

Immediately I called the sales man an he informed that they are not aware of such offer, I need to chedk on the same.At the same time I called up several Mobile shops and they all informed that this offer has been since long time. (Its strange that being a standard brand chain - Mobile store is not aware of the offers declared for the products..even after these many days and that even a local shop in town is having the E53 handst, with this offer from Nokia).

As informed by the Sales man they will provide me with the Bluetooth headset after 5 days. After one week I gave a call to them and they informed me to come and collect the bluetooth headset. I collecte the headset and could notice that they gave me BH104 headset (cost Rs 1000), whereas the offer from Nokia is BH 213 (costs Rs: 2900), When told about this they informed that they have been provided with this Headset from Nokia, whereas in the Nokia Model its in the package they mention as BH23 free..!!!as offer and while all other shops are able to get this offer from Nokia, then what is special with Mobile store..!!!

Is it that Nokia is not providing this offer to Mobiestore..its too pitty for such a brand chain to come up with such silly arguments that" Nokia is not providing them with the offer mentioned in the package"!!!!


Its too frustating that we need to spend our cash to by a mobile and then waste our time tjere after to get the offer.

Hope that the concerned authorities will look into the matter and do the needful.

Mobile Store — Misuse of my US SIM Card

I would like to bring to your notice about one of the fraud happened to me in Bangalore.
I have been to US for a while and I had taken mobile of AT&T, US to use there.
When I was back to India around January I went to Mobile Store, Koramangala in the mid of Feb to unlock the SIM (US) hence I can use the mobile in India.
A service engineer by name Shrishail took the request from me and when I went the next day to collect my mobile he said he lost my US sim card. I was completely shocked and reiterating to try him to get back my SIM. He said he will try and call me back once he gets that. When I tried calling him from next day from my mobile he did not pick the call and when I call from my office after couple of days some how I could get him and he said he could not get it and he regret for the Inconvenience.
I completely believed him but to my shock I started getting bills for that US number for the month of March and April. I came to know this in the mid of April when I receive March month bill to my Email and I could block my SIM card by speaking to customer care in US by end of April.
By then Mr. Shrishail have used my SIM card to call his Friends / Relatives in Bangalore to their local numbers with US International Roaming SIM Card. I have been charged totally USD734.00 (734*50 =36, 700.00INR) from AT&T. The fact is
He can make all those local calls with maximum of 100 rupees by any local service provider. He has made calls to his local mobile number ([protected]) also around 10 times with my US Sim card.
The pathetic part in this fraud is he is trying to save his 100/- Rupees with my 36, 700/-USD which is completely unacceptable.
Please find the below numbers to which he called from US SIM Card in the month of March.

Mobile Store — Delay in Debit for Double Swept

Hi,
I swept my SBI debit cad on " 07 Dec 2008" for Mobile recharge for " Rs 249/- ", but i did not receive any transaction record (Transaction was unsuccessful).
Later I came to know that transaction done with my A/C with reference number
" POS PRCH-6220180162600110330482205 99310282 " for the same.

Consulting Mobile store of no use since hearing the same word " processing your request ". I never hope my money will be back as I ve spend ~ Rs 300 /- to call customer care and internet.

My concern to all is " Please Be careful with these fraud companies. "

Mobile Store — Don't get after sale service for a mobile under warranty

I bought a Sony Ericsson K810i last year Nov from MobileStore, Hosur, Tamilnadu. It started giving problem two months back. When I went to the Mobile Store to get the problem fixed with the warranty papers, they refuged to take responsibility saying they are not responsible for any problem occured in the mobiles they sale, henmce they will not do anything to help me. I got the statement in writing from the Stores person with his signature and MobileStore stamp. Can they be taught a lesson?

Ray T-60 — About Gift

I had purchased a Ray T-60 mobile from the mobile store(Ahmedabad, Ankur) and i have won the apple i-pod, but i have not received it yet. kindly send some reply from your side.

In my mobile i receive one message form u and message says you sent it from Tirupati Courier and docket no is 23496.
Tirupati Courier can't give us perfect answer and says after taking gift they provide us.

Mobile Store — poor after sale service and breach of purchase offer

Sir,
I brought two mobile phones from your shops. The detail of which are as follows:
1. Model: Samsung S 3500; Date of Purchase: 23/07/09; Invoice No: HM 4653; Customer Name: Dr. Deepak Thakur;
2. Model: Ray T 60; Date of Purchase: 25/07/09; Invoice No: HM 4683; Customer Name: Mrs. Divya thakur (wife of the complainant).
I intend to lodge complaint regarding the following:
a. So far I have not received gift of Rs. 400-(200 Rupees for each mobile phone) as promised by the store though i have fulfilled all formalities for it regarding the claim of the gift.
b. Despite my repeated requests that the phone Ray T 60 has developed some snag, there has been no offer from their side to render any service for the repair. In the month of October 2009 this cell phone was deposited with the store for the repair and the phone was kept in their custody for more than ten days. But it was returned with the reason that the technical support was not available for the repair.

Mobile Store — not received offered discount

I am working in goa bsnl.Ihave purchased one samsung metro s 3310
handset from mobilestore porvorim on 2nd october 2009.As per mob.store deevali offer 5% discount I got.they gave some forms and i attached all documents with form (expense cover+stamp+xerox=30 rupees) sent on 6 th october.but still[protected] i didnt received any cheque from mobilestore.

on enquiry mob.store cust.care told cheque sent on 19-th jan.

they offered 5-55% off on mobiles and brutally cheating

the public.i will wait for another 10 days and if not getting will go to consumer court.

Recently, I have purchased E63 mobile from the Mobile store with the blue tooth device BH-104). When I shown to my friends my mobile, they said that the BH- 213 Blue Tooth device is coming with E63.

After confirmation from other outlet of Dealers and Sub-Dealers I came to know that I have been cheated by The Mobile Store. When I went to the mobile Store again and complain about the same. they are not ready to accept his mistake and telling that BH-213 is not coming with E63 only BH-104 device is provided by the NOKIA.

Even he is telling that The Mobile Store is the Direct Dealer of Nokia. I investigate with the Nokia, Gurgaon Office and came to know that The Mobile Store is not a Dealer of Nokia they purchase the Nokia products from their Dealer, infact The Mobile is a sub-dealer.

When I communicate with the Sales Man of The Mobile Store Mr. Ajay - saying that we are the dealer, one side they are deceiving to customer and other side they provide the wrong information and marketing.

In fact The Mobile Store is currupting the image of NOKIA. When I talked to Boss of Mr. Ajay he is not able to handle the customer- says "jo karna hai kar lo blue tooth change nahi hoga maine to bus sale karne k liye blue tooth diya tha otherwise aisa koi offer E63 k saath nahi hai" what rubbish he communicate.

Even I came to know that BH-104 is not compatible with E63 Mobile as per Nokia Office, Gurgaon.

Now how could I get my BH-213 instead of BH-104.

Please help the concern person to have the right complementary product with E63.

Mobile Store — Cheating and Pathetic customer service

We had purchased a Samsung S3310 and Samsung Corby a total worth of Rs. 13,718 on October 25th, 2009 at the Irla Vile Parle Branch.

There was a scheme of minimum 5% cash back on every mobile purchase. At the time of purchase we were asked to submit the requisite docs so that they could sent it to their HO for the cash back offer which a customer should be receiving in a span of 3-4 weeks.

Today, the 24th of March 2010, yet another follow up going futile. The sales man are definitely promoting the products which starts with a wrong promise and committment. Have come across a salesman Arul Wilfred who left no stone unturned to get in to the argument mode with the customer to prove his point. He even encouraged us to complain against him as he said he was dead sure his seniors would understand his situation. He offered me to get in to his shoes so that I understand he is indeed doing a very difficult job.

This is one of the worst salesman rather custoomer service that I have come across in all these years. He was pathetic and arrogant. He was just too much.

The promises have been false and it only gets worse with elements as Arul.

He said he is too good with customer service and that was quite a good joke.

This man's attitude just made us rethink on the kind of people that frustrated customers like us have to deal with.

Mobile store need to recruit people who can listen patiently and handle customers tactically and not people like these who only add to their woes.

I will go further with it legally with Mobile store and this salesman for getting us go through this for the 5% cashback as promised.

Mobile Store — False commitment and Professionalism Towards customer

I have purchased a Soni Erricson W20 Phone 3 months back from Mobile store City centre branch Indore for 8100 Rs. Yesterday suddenly the LCD screen of phone went Blank. It was a display problem It was promised to me that if in case i face any problem with my mobile,i can anytime get in touch with any mobile store branch and they will serve us the best. however, when i reached at same city centre branch from where i purchased my mobile they said that they can not do anynthing in this regard and asked me to visit Sony erricson service centre. When I insisted alot they informed me that if i wish i can logg any complaint in consumer court or can file any legal case as well as they wont be able to help me out. They also said that we are having so many outlets all over india and on a daily basis aprox thousands of people are complaining for our services and products, but no body can do anything as we are mentioning in our bill itself that Mobile store is not responsible for any damage in mobile. They have put in customer in no Men's land situation. Request you all if any responsible person can take it forward and get this sorted out, i will be very thankful to him.

Mobile Store — Nokia pouch promise break

I purchased a Nokia E72 phone from mobile store at kalyani nagar pune on 24th October 2010 & the person who attended to me (Mr Ajay) promised me to give me a nokia pouch,Since he did not have stock at that time he had promised me that he will give me the same on the next day (25th Oct). I am still to receive the same as on 10th Nov 2010, I have gone to the store at least 5 - 6 times & he gives me some reason or the other. Today I had called him 3 times & he did not even have the COURTESY to pick up my call or call me back. This was rather frustrating and humiliating to even think that this kind of behavior even EXISTS!!!! .

Mobile Store — Defective Gift

I had purchased NOKIA-X6 8GB from Mobile Store Limited, Sector 6, Main
market, Dwarka, New Delhi-110075 on 17/09/10.

Voucher No. 3036438 for redemption of gift along with draft no. 646332
dated 21/09/10 drawn on Vijay Bank, Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi for
Rs. 99/- favouring Travel port holidays pvt ltd was sent to Reward port
Mumbai through speed post on 21/09/10.

I received the Gift (watch) on 12/11/2010. When I opened the packet, I
was surprised to note that the watch had many scratches and was not
wearable.

I was surprised by the casual attitude of Mobile Store, wherein
consumer is promised a gift on purchase of Mobile and afterwards
defective gifts are sent to consumer.

I had requested thrice vide my mails dated 15/11, 18/11 and 22/11 to Mobile Store and Travel port Holidays for replacement of the gift but I have not received any response for my three mails.

You are requested to advise Mobile Store for appropriate action for replacing the gift

Mobile Store — False Service & Commitments

Mobile Store at Kalbadevi branch gives false commitments while selling the phones that they will give 2 years warranty, When i went there they were like very irritative asking get different papers as the one who has commited is not here now. Useless Mobile store charge more for cell phones and they give very poor service.
Even I have faced some issues with the staff at Pattom, TVM. I had purchased an XPERIA U online from mobilestore and I got a screen guard with the package. I went to mobile store to have this screenguard installed and they charged me Rs.50 for that. Moreover they did not istall the guard properly and there were a couple of bubbles after sticking the guard.

I checked with them why they charged Rs. 50 for this bad piece of work. Actually I asked them why they dint do it for free like any other 'Trusted Mobile Shop' would do? Initially he said that they are supposed to just do sales and sticking the guard would cost me service chanrges. I checked with other mobile store in Tvm and they said they dont charge anything for this. Then He (Mobile store Pattom guy) said that this is a skill that they AQUIRED OUTSIDE OF MOBILESTORE and thats why they are charging the amount. Indirectly he implied that they are using the mobilestore facilities for doing work and getting money for themselves.

I really dont care about the money. Its just their arrogant attitude and their unwillingness to even acknowledge a customer properly that irked me.
