Inefficiency of the Nokia Care Kormangala, Bangalore.

At this moment I am left thinking what should I do now with my mobile set Nokia 6500-s that I bought just in June 08.

The handset slipped from my hand one month after I bought the set as a result there were 3-4 small black lines on the screen which were not effecting the performance of the cell in any way so I did not give it to Nokia care for repair as I didn’t wanted to part with my new cell for long. Around one month later from the incident after I had transferred some images through Bluetooth my cell turned off and on turning it on it stayed on the initial blue screen, so I had to take off the battery in order to switch it off.

I gave it to Nokia Care Kormangala, Bangalore for repairing, they saw those lines on the screen and said first they will repair the screen which will cost me Rs 1800/- and then they will reinstall the S/W, I kept following up with them they said the screen part is not available so it will take some time. After 20 days when we went to Nokia care kormangala they said they have changed the screen and will install the S/W and asked us to wait.

After 15-20 mins we were informed that since S/W upgradation will take time hence we should come after 3 days .When we went the next time we were told that there was a problem in the motherboard and the set is irreparable…

From the job sheet they smartly cut of “that the phone was restarting /rebooting “that was mentioned earlier and gave us back our cell.

On consulting with the manager of Nokia care Kormangala “Varsha “, she flatly told us that she will not do anything we could go ahead and do whatever we want, as while submitting the set we had signed a paper which said something like this “In physical damaged cases, the cell might also go dead while repairing” so this is how a working cell has been turned completely dead by Nokia service center (Care) proudly and without any regrets.

My mobil phone was missing from one month(23/9/2008)already i was put complint to the police station
but still it's going on so i will get my phone serial no pls lock the same EMI [protected]

I took my Nokia 5610 to Gandhi Bazar outlet. I was informed that, i will get my phone back in 2 days. I was also informed about the service charge of Rs:1500/-.

I had problem locking my keypad and video recording. They kept my phone for 7 days and returned it back to me saying it cannot be fixed. Moreover I got back a completely dead phone and now I am unable to switch my phone on.

They had no regrets to say that phone cannot be repaired they also did not felt ashamed to ask me pay Rs.56.00 service charge..I curse them a lot...
DONT DARE TO STEP IN to Nokia Care Center @ Malleshwaram

People who work here are illiterate and careless people.
Pls request you all not to enter this service center, it is the most bad and worst experience i have ever had with any service of any product.
People here are totally unaware of the complaint/problem we go with. They just give same answer to very body and saying software problem and the amount they charge is very HIGH. They dont stick on to time lines/ dead lines given by them itself and they answer " THERE is NO POINT IN ARGUING HERE" !!!
The same is the experience with my friends and relatives too who have visited this Center.
you see customers always fighting with those guys for overcharging/no delivering on time/ no answering the people/ not understanding the problem/
they change teh mobile if it is new one.
I am Shocked, , , , then to whom should we address such Concerns?????????
MY request you to all is NOT TO STEP in to such SERVICE CENTERS
I am not sure that these are authorised centers and Nokia will take any steps to tackel these issues.

Let me tell u the correct picture of the story::
I have gifted a Nokia 5130 2mnths back her name is Mallika.Now coz of software problem we have given for servicing at RT Nagar on 8th Aug'09.They told delivery date on 18th.n told us that they will call us buy they didnt do that..nxt v had been to center on 19th.service was nil., no proper response they work like Govt.office..Then V spoke to Mgr called Mr.gowda(as receptionist told his name as )again they said they vll call on 21st.but they didnt turn back nor they pick the call..
What kind of service is this??nokia has done such a big name is market on selling handsets so pls dnt spoil ur name your liks this.Pls take my complaints as a serious issue.I hope i will get good response from your end and i will get my handset ASAP

Nokia Care Kormangala, Bangalore is a nuisance.

I took N 79 for repair which used to restart. First they told me it is water logged and said it wont be covered with warranty and you have to pay Rs 350/-. In fact i had never allowed my set to get wet once also. After 3 days they told that mother-board is dead and you have to pay 1900/-

and after 15 days they said this set cannot be repaired.

and now my mobile is dead...

NOKIA CARE @ KORAMANGALA 5TH BLK SERVICE IS VERY GOOD
I am not writing this referring to any one care centre. Currently I have given my Nokia 6210 Navigator to repair. Care centre technical guys are still in the process of looking at the handset and tropubleshooting since from a week. Of course they have informed me that it may take aroud a week, and thats OK.
Now when I called them to check whether set is ready ...Got an answer from them that they are still looking for a LCD of 6210 so that they can check the problem. My set had a problem of getting a blank display whenever I slide in / out. otherwiese cell was working fine.
I had puirchased this set for 15K almost 15 months back.
Now my question is that does Nokia care about their customers ? because they do not have accessories to provide for their own care centres then what if I want to repair it outside or on my own ?
It is a superfast trend where in we want the issues to be fixed very fast.
So to repair a handset I need to wait for a week and even after that no result?
What is the reason for this ? set is expensive, I paid 15k for the set and I cant throw it.
Design of the set is so pathetic ...i didnt dare to open the screws..they were almost jammed.
Today i went to just clean my screen as there were some small dust which got stuck between display and front panel screen..
the senior technician at Nokia care koramangala told me i need to replace the whole display and the front panel as there are scratches there and the total cost will be 2000 RS.. May be he thought i was an uneducated fellow who has never seen what a school is from birth or I have reached some place in moon(i.e. nokia care Koramangla) where "nokia" mobiles are alien technology and people dont know anything about it ..
I simply asked him how will he replace my front panel, he told me the process . I told him to do the same but clean the dust off and refix and give it back to me.. He was ashamed as he was caught. He didnt face me but kept giving some unrelated comments etc...
These guys are so much money minded.. i hope Nokia - India is taking note of such situations The brand NOKIA is getting spoiled by such foolish people.
Please bear in mind this was the senior technician who was dealing with me to get some good money. Similar to how some crook doctor takes the kidney out of a patient who came to the hospital for the treatment of common cold.

As a educated consumer i was saved but there many people who dont know much about mobiles and fall prey to such tactics.

I hope some gaurdian angel looking at all this and has a solution to this.

i have given my cell phone for repairing in nokia care near m2k rohini 7 time still my handset is not working
i has been sent to company 2 times i have to wait for 15 20 days for it to come back n 5 times nokia care has repaired it by themselves
still i have to go home with my sad face
i have to adjust without using my cell phone a substitute phone was given to me but that too isnt working fine
it shut downs automatically
and even the contact no of nokia care that is [protected] goes switched off even at 1 pm
i have been suffering from it since 6 months still my handset 6303c is in warranty n i cant buy another phone due to my financial condition
it will be great if im helped.
