Do not do it !!! It is a scam..I received that text a couple days ago and when I contacted the number the gentleman on the other end was not only rude but demanding I pay some Western union Fees immediately. First of all ... so many people have been tricked by scams like this ...fees should never be paid to a Western Union or Moneygram center as it is obvious there's a person collecting the money and not a well established firm. Even if they give you a company name to send this money...trust me, in third world countries it is not hard to walk into one of the many corrupt government facilities and register your own company like "Get It Inc." with nothing more than a form of identification and a hundred dollar bill slipped under the table to the right official working there (if you know what I mean). Secondly...If you really want to test these thieves...do what I did, ask to have the fees automatically deducted from your winnings and the difference drafted via a bank manager's cheque. I am almost certain the person will get angry and start getting more demanding or disconnect the call immediately. Under NO circumstances, send money to anyone !!! You never get something for nothing and these people can be very convincing, I mean they can sound like top level executives working at Nokia itself. Give them an inch they will take a yard ... They are convincing enough to sell ice to an Eskimo !!! I am happy that i researched all the spam tactics on Google before I myself fell prey to their .

hi I received a text on the 6th jan 2010 saying my mobile phone no was radomly picked from all round the world i have won 500, 000.00. You are right these guys are really con artists wish someone could stop them I nearly fell for scam luckily i was bit sceptic and decided to look up nokia uk website and found this complaint file which was really great they did ask for western union money transfer for 498.00 GBP to pay courier charges gosh it really plays havic with your nerves and i think these guys are real mongrels I am so annoyed would love to do something really nasty to them thats for sure.
