i've baught a Nokia 6700 classic on 24th Oct 2009. Ever since i've got this phone ther is a problem of phone switching off on its own while talking, while on charging even when it lying idle. We went to the dealer and were told that the dealer has no responsibilty after the sale is made and were directed to a Nokia Care centre (Gulati Communications). The care centre told us that the problem is with software of the phone and can be rectified by updating the software which will take one day and was given a target delivery next day. For the entire next day there was no res[ponse from the centre and finally after logging a complaint with NOKIA HELPLINE we got a call at 7:30 stating that the phone has to sent to the nokia head office and the approximate delivery date is 5th dec. After repeated follow up with NOKIA helpline we finally got the handset back from the Care centre on 1st dec without checking whether the phone was working properly it was delivered to us. Ever since than there is a new problem that the phone switched off again on its own and is not switching ON at all.
My handset is lost. So i want blocked my handset so plz help me. Detail is--------

my nokia 6700 switches off while talking.i gave to 'nokia care' 4 times,and each time they said its repaired.but every next time i talk my set faces the same problem. now i am hesitant to go there (nokia care) again.still my phone is switched off and i cant switch it on .what hould i do with my set.

    Nokia 5610 — to know more

    i want to know all the codes of nokia 5610 this must include all the codes for example *#06# to know the seriel code like that . plese try to reply immediatily

    Nokia 5610d music express — Hanging problem

    I purchased handset on 31/3/2008. It started giving hanging problem within six weeks. I approached on 2nd june to nokia care maninagar, Ahmedabad. Updated software memory card as per their advice was formatted. Shockingly again on the next day it started giving the same problem. On 19th june I submitted to nokia care.Till now i have not received/replaced my hand set. No person from nokia care service team contacted me during this time though they promised in reply to my mail.Handset is still pending! I am unable to locate the status.

    Nokia 5610 — quality

    Recently i had a very BAD experience with Nokia cell phones...their recently launched ’nokia express music’ phone is doing everything but CONNECTING ME to PEOPLE!!!

    The slider version of the phone (Model 5610) used to (Now it is USED TO !!) hang so much... that i could never complete a call without having disruptions 2-3 times...
    So after taking a a couple of leaves to get is fixed as apparantly their service centre (Nokia care) operates in timings such that it is really tough for any working person to visit them during those hours!

    Anyway i thought my problems were over when yet again the cellphone had another problem- i could no more enjoy the ’Express music’ as the headphone had some problem... !!

    Once again a leave and a visit to the service centre...and they keep my headphones for a minimum period of 15 days! which i fail to understand why!

    OK... so you might think that’s the end of it... but the ’Almighty’ phone had problems yet again... its display was not Displaying anything!!

    and the cherry on the cake was when i manage to reach the service centre panting after my work scraping through the traffic and reaching the service centre by 6.35 p.m (mind you just 5 minutes after their official closing time) i am told ’Mam we can not take your request right now!’

    That was all i could take!!!
    I put my foot down and told them i was not leaving without getting my cell repaired! so finally they agreed to help but somehow they once again required my cell phone for 15 DAYS!!!
    and they are not even giving me a replacement for these 15 days!!

    so well lets take a look... i had graduated to a better featured phone for the reason of - being able to do a bit more with my phone.. and guess what ... i am not even able to do what i used to with my earlier more basic phone!!!

    Till now the phone has costed me-
    Cost of the instrument- 11, 500
    Cost of my leaves- 4000
    Mental agony- well lemme juss ’Tip’ that
    Endless sessions at the service centre!

    i just have one question - is it worth it!

    I used to believe in Nokia as a brand as it was all about ’consumer friendly technology’
    And i must say i am highly dissaponted as they have miserably failed in the high end phones segment and the one thing they used to stand for ’ consumer friendliness’ is no more there.

    I have completely lost my trust in the brand!

        I have bought this mobile on pre-order basis on 10th Jan 2009 as I have confidence of Nokia product. I have used its N series phone for almost 3 years without any problem. But, I was very disappointed with this phone as within an year it has given me many problems. Actually I like this phone but few problems which are consistent on it is very frustrating. When ever I lock the phone and then unlock it then it shows vertical lines and sometimes during the call also its display suddenly vanishes. This problem I faced in July-August 2009 even. At that time I have written 5-10 mails to nokia care and registered my complaint to Nokia Head Office in bangalore. But, they always replied that you have to submit your cell to nearest nokia care. Then after esteem frustration I have finally submitted my phone to nokia care. Then after 14 days they returned back the phone by saying their is LCD problem and they have replaced the LCD. But, then it worked fine for 3-4 months but now again same problem persists. I can't figure it out what is wrong where. I am very devastated and helpless as I have 100% trust earlier on nokia and I recommended nokia phones over the rest. Now what should I do? Even now if I submit the phone and nokia care give a temporary solution then my warranty will also expire and I would be left helpless...

        Nokia/ Nokia 5800 Xpress Music — Issue with Nokia 5800 Xpress music

        On 21 March 2009, i purchased a Nokia 5800 series mobile phone from Sangeeta store (2nd Floor Forum Mall - Bangalore) @ Rs 19, 500. From day 1 i am facing issue with the mobile phone. Most of the applications hangs, when any SMS comes (Which is one of the basic requirements of the phone) and i try to open the same, the phone prompts a message : Memory Full, please close some applications and try again. Call log history, Gallery, Contact, Applications etc all gets locked. This issue gets resolved after switching off and switching on the mobile phone, but after 5-6 hours the issue comes back again and i have to switch off and switch on the mobile. So in a day i have to do this activity 3-4 times in order for the mobile to work fine.I reported the issue to Nokia Service Center - BTM 2nd Stage Bangalore twice (2nd April 2009 and 21 April 2009), but no result the problem still exists. On 24th April 2009, the mobile was sent to Nokia head office by the Nokia Care center. I got my cell phone back on 5th May 2009 but still the issue persist. So, twice Nokia care has worked on it and once Nokia main office but no result.Please help is getting the phone replaced. I will be very thankful to you.

        in past few days i had get changed my lcd screen from nokiacare jalandhar but i am not stisfied with this change. from the day of change my phone shows many defolts. i think screen is not working good as nokia products working

        I have purchased a Nokia 5800 xpress music from Nokia Care Pitampura Delhi. There is a display problem in the set. The display comes up only with many parallel lines. When i reboot the phone, it becomes ok.

        Nokia — 5800 Xpress Music Display problem

        I am one of the customers of Nokia phones and was always very satisfied with all the purchases I made with Nokia until my recent purchase of Nokia 5800 Xpress Music. Because of my trust in Nokia, I had prebooked my phone even before the launch of the phone in India. and was one of the first customers for this model. But to my surprise my happiness for the purchase didnt last long and within a week I got this problem in a handset speakers because of which I couldnt hear anyone talking in the phone. I went to Nokia dealer and asked for a replacement and he refused and he directed me to a nokia care center. First of all, since the piece was a faulty piece it should have been replaced immediately without question. Anyhow I went to the Nokia care center and before I could tell my problem to them, they saw my handset and guessed that it was the speaker problem. I was surprised when they told me that this was known problem to them for a phone model as new as Nokia 5800. But they did correct the problem.

        Anyways about 4 months back my phones display started creating problem. Imagine a touchscreen handset in which you cant see anything, only parallel lines. :-(... I have been going to various Nokia care centers ever since and have not been able to get this particular problem fixed for my high end model. Again when I tried to find solutions to this problem on the internet, I found many customers are facing the same problem in Nokia 5800 handset. I dont understand how could a reputed company like Nokia get such a faulty phone launched in the market and even if this was by mistake why are they not able to resolve such a critical issue quickly.

        Kindly look into the matter and get it resolved as soon as possible.

        Dear Team,

        I had purchased Nokia E 63 in the month of aug'09 IMEI NO [protected] amount rs 12750.
        Being a Business class phone ,Have full facility but I am regularly facing problem with Diplay.
        In the moth of dec'09 ,Given to Nokia Care and recd phone after 21 days after a change in his display.Again the same or new problem arise in display and collected by Nokia Care Patna Boring Road for next 31 days and expected date of delivery is 22/04/10.

        This is simply unfortunate that with in six months the problem is arising .
        My Job Sheet no 2373. Why I will pay so much if the set is to be with companies for months.

        I 5800 — Wrong Handset

        I have ordered one (I-5800) phone to Naaptol on 18-03-10 as per Times of India Newspaper.
        I have received the delivery on 27-03-10.
        When I open the courier then I found that the handset I have ordered is I-5800 and in the box its written N-5800 and the MRP is 3000/- and I have paid Rs.4199/- including delivery charges
        Then I check one battery is faulty & the connector of the charger is also faulty.
        I spoke the customer care at Mumbai (Customer Care Executive name is Leela) she said please courier the handset back to Mumbai and they will replace it.
        Request you to please replace the handset ASAP as my 10 years old daughter is very upset.
        This handset I have gifted to her as she stand First in the class.
        Once again please replace the handset and courier back as below mention address.

        I purchased NOKIA-E-63. Dec-2009. It is within Warranty. The display has become faulty but there is no physical damage. The Nokia Care centre says the Gas has come out. I am confused how it can become like that automatically. They are not agreable to replace the LCD even though it is within warranty. More over the set hangs very often. Software is slow responsive.         xpress music — display problem

        my xpress music hand set display was not working and I complain your nokia service centre, sector-2, Noida two or three times within warranty period, they repaired temporarily. After some days hand set was is in previous condition and warranty period was lapse, I complain your nokia centre Noida they refused to repaird in warranty period and demanded to me Rs.1250/-. I given him Rs.1250/- than they repaird my handset.

        My complain is : Your Nokia Service Centre, Sector-2, Noida is not giving proper service within warranty period, only they want to money for any problem in hand set within warranty period also.

        I purchased a nokia 5800 xpressmusic phone from Universell Marathahalli branch on 10.2.2010.last one month when the slide switch operate,the dispaly become blur, however some time it work properly.i given the phone to Nokia service centre at marathahalli(Silk teleelectronics).they are telling its due to physcial damages and diaplay to be changed.they are charging of 2500/- for the replacement. actually there is no damges to the phone and i feel the problem is in the display.i have searched in internet and found lot of cases are like the same in all over the world with 5800 mobile.when contacted Nokia care they sre explaining that any hardware problem warranty cant claimed. then what for that warrenty?? software can downdold free from Nokia site and Warrenty not for hardware.if it is a quality issue why Nokia not call back all mobiles as auto industry do.Pl do needful

        Nokia — nokia 5800 display problem

        Dear sir/ madam

        I had purchased a nokia 5800XM phone in dec 09. Dispaly of my phone was working fine initially although it had shown the horizontal or vertical lines occasionally. I didn't took much notice of that.thought it is some kind of software problem.
        but the situation got worse with passing time. I was not sure of the problem so i even updated my phone firmware but the problem remains the same.
        by the time i come to know that its an hardware issue my warranty expired.
        on searching the internet i found that its a manufacturing defect which is very common in almost all nkia 5800xm phones.
        so i took the matter to ur nokia service centre but they told me that they will replace the screen only if i'll pay for it.
        i was unable to understand what is the use of spending so much amount on nokia phones if we do get such faulty devices.
        As a good business practice nokia shall replace my phone or its display free of cost since its not my fault rather a manufacturing defect.
        kindly look into the matter.

        2day 18/7/2011 mrng again i had given my handset again 2 the nokia care at vashi telecom,c2/3/0:1,sector-2 vashi,navi mumbai now they r telling that again they will keep that set for ten daz. now god knows wat wll happen? sir/mam i am a indian citizen nt a terriorst ! on 2daz job sheet they have written that it is NOT REPEATED JOB .may b they had some mistake bt i will see wat they r going 2 do. they only have EXCUSES for this they have GIVEN a name NOKIA CARE .......................!

          Hi,

          Myself is varun kakkar residence of Preet Vihar.

          This is related to our worst experience with HOTSPOT- R-51 Vikas Marg, Shakarpur New Delh-92 On 28th Nov.2009 we purchased a Nokia 1661(Black) handset IMEI-[protected] - the container looked faintly tampered but we were given assurances that a nokia sealed box cannot be resealed' so we tried to believe in what they had said and completed the transaction.

          On using the phone for a few days - I started experiencing network problem, speaker problem and battery problem. This confirmed my doubt that the mobile phone box was indeed tampered with - and maybe it was a faulty handset that was passed on to us.
          On approaching to the Nokia Care service centre they told me that the need the C- No. for the battery replacement & for the other issue handset need to sent for repair.
          As customer I don’t know what details are require with Nokia Service Centre for the battery replacement, it’s a responsibility of your Hotspot team to stick the C-no on the bill, Hotspot team says to bring the cell box for the same, unfortunately I don’t have the box with me. Tell me what to do now to get my handset repair, as per the nokia team it’s not at all acceptable without. C.No.

          On approaching hotspot present at the R-51 Vikas Marg, Shakarpur Center refused to talk on C no.- and put up some subordinates - who had no authority - and even said that they understand our situation and agree with us that a tampered/used mobile phone has been sold to us - but are not authorized to make any replacements.

          After purchasing a branded nokia phone from a place like Hotspot - there is no peace of mind that I have as a customer. I would expect Hotspot team to take a serious review of this situation and provide me with a replacement ASAP - because such incidents not only discourages regular customers such as myself to stay away from hotspot - but bring an overall bad name to Hotspot.

          Last Tuesday (18 nov.) i bought a Motorola zn-200, from a Hotspot mobile store in Naraina, New Delhi.They had a scheme which said that they will give a bluetooth headset free on every purchase of a mobile phone other than NOKIA and it should be above Rs.4000.I purchased a mobile phone which was of Motorola and costed me Rs.6350.They gave me bluetooth headset which was used n was not working. I went to the store the day after n complained about it, they told me that they do not have any more stock of bluetooth left that can be replaced with mine.They told me to come on friday (21 Nov.) as they will be receiving their stock that day.When I went on friday, they told me taht the scheme is over now and they did not receive any stock.They told me to come on sunday (23 Nov.) and told me that my bluetooth will be definately replaced on sunday.When I called them on today (23 nov.) they hve given me a date till 2nd of december which is also not confirmed.please take any action against them.Their phone number is [protected].My customer id is [protected].My invoice number is[protected].My phone number is [protected].

          hot spot — faulty handset

          This is related to our worst experience with HOTSPOT- Rajouri Garden New Delhi Center...
          On 3rd March 2009 we purchased a Nokia 5800 handset - the container looked faintly tampered but we were given assurances that 'a nokia sealed box cannot be resealed' so we tried to believe in what they had said and completed the transaction.

          Later on when showing us the features of the mobile - we were able to see some numbers on the phone memory which when we questioned the dealer was not able to explain but he dialled some code no - to show us that no calls had been sent or recived from this handeset and that the phone is indeed from a sealed box.

          On using the phone for a few days - I started experiecning hang problems and crashes on a daily basis and in an attempt to explore my mobile - I came across a picture transferred through bluetooth - on a date 1 day(1st March 2009) prior to my purchase date.This confirmed my doubt that the mobile phone box was indeed tampered with - and maybe it was a faulty handest that was passed on to us.

          On approaching hotspot dealer - the ASM of HotSpot present at the Rajouri Garden HotSpot Center refused to talk to us - and put up some subordinates - who had no authority - and even said that they understand our situation and agree with us that a tampered/used mobile phone has been sold to us - but are not authoriZed to make any replacements.Infact that have given us a signed document to this effect as well.

          After spending more than 20 K - in purchasing a branded nokia phone from a place like Hotspot - there is no peace of mind that I have as a customer.I would expect Hotspot team to take a serious review of this situation and provide me with a replacement asap - because such incidents not only discourages regular customers such as myself to stay away from hotspot - but bring an overall bad name to Hospot

          NOKIA MOBILES — Faulty handset.

          I had bought a new Nokia 7610 Supernova during October 2009 from QRS store, Calicut, Kerala. The IMEI number of my mobile is [protected]. Right from the day of purchase I am facing problems with this hand set. Thrice the same had been given to Nokia Care Centre, Calicut for problems like low/nil battery life, low ring tone volume. Every time the handset is returned to me by Nokia Care Centre stating that it has been rectified. The third time I gave it to Nokia care centre and the reference number of the job sheet was[protected]/100303/36. I had also taken up the issue with customer care at Bangalore and had been given reference ID No. as 1-[protected] on 09th March 2010.

          After the third visit to Nokia Care Centre, I was made to understand that my handset shall be sent to Gurgaon. After a few days I was called by Nokia Care Centre and my handset had been returned to me by replacing the battery. But even after that my phone is having the same problems. Low ring tone volume/very feeble sound when you open the speaker/low or nil battery life. Hence kindly advice as what to do now ?

          I would request you to take up the issue with Nokia because every time I log an issue at their web site under "Ask Nokia", I am given a standard reply which is also enclosed along with this mail. Their standard reply is always asking me hand over the set to Nokia Care Centre and give all details like IMEI number etc.

          I have been asking Nokia that since my handset is not even six months old and it is under terms of guarantee and warranty they should either repair the set to my satisfaction or else should replace my handset. But they are not doing anything to resolve this issue. Please help

                Dear sir ,
                I have purchased Nokia E71 set on 3rd april 2009 from jaipur , customer ID[protected] and of Lot no [protected], with 2 month of its purchase i found the set totally dead and non functional, during this period i was on official work to brahmpur(orissa) where i have shown this set to nokia care , which was deopsited with them for 10 days and later they told that its battery is dead and it requires changing ,but warranty of battery is of six month which has finished 2 days back , when i requested that i have deposited the set 10 days before , there answer was that the complain of mobile was done not of battery. Further after inserting a different battery the mob is not getting charged though it is showing the sign of getting charged. when the same set was shown to Nokia set Pathankote (Punjab) they r also not showing any sign of help ,and there only answer is, the battery is dead and it require changing.

                    DEFICIENCY IN SERVICE.

                    I purchased Nokia E63 on 7/12/2009, found the battery was faulty with a manufacturing defect, Got the same checked from Nokia care Dombivli east, for authenticity, and logged a complaint on 11/12/2009 with nokia care,

                    Instead of replacing the faulty part, or giving me a stand by phone,They took the handset and called me on 27/12/2009.

                    Nokia care guys asked me to buy a new battery, if the old one is faulty, So i am asking where is the Garantee or Warantee, Is it for 11 days from the date of purchase?

                    Nokia Mobile E63 — manufacturing defect

                    Respected sir,
                    I bought a nokia mobile phone model – NOKIA E 63 having EMI Number-
                    [protected] from Agrawal mobile, Hinoo, Ranchi on dated 05/02/2010.After using
                    One week I found it work very slow and there is some manufacturing defect in back cover
                    Of the moble, so I went to nokia service ( Nirmal Enterprises ,P.P.Compound ,Ranchi) on
                    22/02/2010 and handover my mobile with complain to nokia service centre staff but after
                    waiting two hours he gave me my mobile and say that ELS is not O.K and mobile is not
                    under warranty so we cannot replace or rectify your handset.. I inform to retailer and dealer
                    about the same and again two times went to service centre to solve my problem but no one
                    do any thing.

                        I had been planning to buy the E series phone and waiting for the much awaited E 72 and was lucky enough also to buy it on 30th Nov, 2009, being one of the first customers in India and New delhi to have bought it but to my dismay the product has been a mere headache for me right from Day 1. I have called up Nokia Careline numerous times and done whatever they have told me to do, formatted the phone numerous times, updated software, investing about 1-2 hours daily on doing these troubleshooting things and still its turning out to be a nightmare. I went to the Nokia Service Centre to get the phone checked but they told me that i have to leave behind the phone for testing, which i dont find comfortable as its a brand new phone and why should I get it repaired or tested when I have invested Rs. 21000/- and being a Nokia Customer i deserve a replacement. No one would ever wish that he buys a new thing, spends hours on troubleshooting and at the end gets it repaired. It always pinches in the customers mind and I have personnaly had such experiences being from the Customer Services Industry, as the customer is never happy.



                        Now to sum up some of the few problems the phone is facing :

                        1) From Day 1 phone hangs up of the software starts doing stupid things.
                        2) The phone gets extremely hot sometimes and it can be felt when held in the palm, which seems like a product safety issue.
                        3) While transferring data through bluetooth, data transfer hangs in between.
                        4) The network drops and to again get the network i have to reboot the phone, which cannot be a operator issue as told to me, as the same network works on the phone of the person sitting next to me.
                        4) The most interesting incident has been that i was asking my mother to take my picture yesterday, as she was happy to see a new nokia coming in the house, after she clicked my picture the touchpad stopped working and now it is tiresome to work on the phone. My mother felt very bad and she was not happy to see such quality of product.The touchpad is still non functional.

                          I bought a new E 63 phone from Vijay Sales bill no - 06/br05/09csi 951 in the month of May thinking that this phone is one of the best in the market. Even I suggested couple of my friends to buy the phone but to my surprise all o[censored]s are repenting and feeling like throwing this phone in the trash can. Following are the reasons -:
                          1) The very next day, my phone started freezing up every now and then. When I enquired with Vijay Sales they simply asked me to contact Nokia. That was pathetic customer service by Vijay Sales.
                          2) When I contacted Nokia service center ( I can produce all the documents of contacting them), they told me that its a common issue and it happens due to software problem. They reinstalled the software in my NEW phone. But still we are facing same issue.
                          Now not only me but even my friends are facing same issue.
                          I even requested nokia service center to give me a replacement phone then I will submit the phone in contact center for repairs....first of all....why do I need to repair a new phone which has started giving me these issues...........Nokia should offer me different phone as its their problem and not mine.....


                          I even asked them to call me and lets discuss the issue...till day I have not received any call from nokia....... WHAT A DISGRACE!!!!

                          I fully agree with the complaint stated by Mr. Swapnil. The main feature they highlight on this series "Easy Dial Its now very easy to call your contacts -- just type their names at the home screen, select and call" in not at all working. Nokia is literally fooling the customers and promoting the product with a feature that is not available only.                           I dont understand why you'd say that Easy Dial doesn't work on E63.
                          Coz, I'm using that easy dial feature, which is quite handy.

                              I had purchased a N97 on October end from Tata Croma. The phone started having application problems, hanging problems and battery drainage issue. Post which i have visited Croma and a Nokia Priority store twice who recommended me to go to the Nokia Care centre. After my visit to Nokia Care Center i was told that the phone needs a software upgradation and i submited the phone for the same. i received my phone in a few days and post which i started facing same problems and also a problem of automatic battery recharge. I visited my Nokia Priority store who said that as the phone was not purchased from them they cannot solve the problem, we would have to go to tata Croma for any problems. I again visited Croma who were not able to handle the problem and asked us to talk to Nokia Care Center again. In my second visit to the Nokia Care Center they again asked me to keep the handset with them and said they would have to send the handset to the Delhi office for further checks. i again fulfilled and gave my handset to Nokia Care Center. Nokia Care Center even put in a recommendation to replace the handset. they said this process will take 10 days and i shall get my phone repaired or replaced if its not repairable.
                              I just received my phone back from them and again there are same issue's in the handset. After my talk to Nokia Care Center and Croma they are again recommending me to submit my handset for repair. It has just been a month i have purchased the to be called "Best Handset" and i have already visited Nokia Care Center, Nokia Priority Store and Tata Croma multiple number of times for facing issue's. These people are still not able to resolve this issue and asking me to submit my handset again. this time i am going to submit my handset only if i am gauranteed a replacement. i am tired of wasting time and visiting Nokia/Croma multiple number of times. what i am trying to explain them is when a Rs. 33000 phone is getting spoilt 4-5 times within 1 month of its purchase there has to be a fault in the parts and applications of the phone. i can also say that Tata Croma is selling Faulty phones which are not checked before selling to customers.I am a working professional and this is unnecessary occupying me mentally and consuming a lot of time, i am tired running around for a mobile for which i have paid Rs. 33,000 and which has got spoilt 4-5 times within one month of purchase. Tata Croma who sold this handset to me is not able to resolve this for me nor the Nokia Care Center people. I want to have a replacement for the same which Nokia is not ready to do. This handset was purchased from Tata Croma- Mumbai- Juhu branch- Contact Person- Jai & Pushpa, Nokia Care Center - Mumbai- Goregaon (West) branch- Contact person - Nari & Umesh, Nokia executives- Mithun Chauhan.
                              Tata Croma/Nokia - kindly resolve my problem or else i would have to officially launch a complaint for this with the consumer court/police for selloing me a faulty handet, wasting my time and money for visiting/calling these stores and also for keeping me mentally occupied because of which ,y current work is affected.                                   We had purchase the mobile phone on 6/12/2009 from ALFA, Mumbai - 56 and since then the mobile was sent for Hanging, Phone Locking, Not responding and abrupt Power Off problem to the dealer and subsequently on their direction we visited Nokia Dealer next to the shop. They showed our person that the mobile is ok and has no problem. However, again we showed the mobile with the same problem to another care center at Malad, Sarvesh Telecom having job sheet no.[protected]/091209/14 dated 9/12/2009 and even then the problem persists, though they claim to have repaired or fixed the problem.

                                  We are very upset with the abysmal service Nokia has provided to us and as such want a full refund of our money as the mobile delivered to us is 100% faulty and we do not want to continue with the same handset.

                                    Dear sir,
                                    i gave my nokia E51 for repairing dated on 24/11/2009 at info care services at faizabad road lucknow vide jobsheet no.[protected]/091124/5. The problem with the set was sometimes insertrd sim card shows no connectivity and the message to the caling person goes the mobile is switched off. Your authorised service centre infocare spoke us to collect handset on 28/11/2009, on the same date they responsed us that mobile will go head office & contact on 08/12/2009 while calling on 08/12/2009 to Ms. Chandni on no.30303838 she told to response in 48 hours with complain no.1-[protected] and promised me to provide a new mobile as E51can not be repaired as nokia has closed these sets. While calling today after 48 hours on 10/12/2009 she is saying to call after 18/12/2009 after repairing the same phone. You are requested to look into the matter as i am handicapped without phone really this defaming nokia company. i am nokia user for the last 09 years.if my problem is not solved by 11/12/2009 i will have to go consumer court.

                                    Nokia/E51 — Repair of Mobile handset

                                    Hi,
                                    I bought an E51 NOKIA Handset in october some proble happened in its display so i gave the handset for repair in nokia care.I gave my mobile phone for repair on 2nd of march 2009 and still i have not recieved my handset .I can't understand is there no minimum service level agreement that they have to repair the handset within these many days or replace the handset as it is still in warranty period.I am seriously fed up with the nokia care service .Please advice me what should i do.

                                    Nokia Care India service is extremely pathetic. They seem to take customers for granted. I think the best option is to file a lawsuit against Nokia India, which needs to be given a rude shock on how providing poor service will only backfire on them. Besides, the ensuing negative publicity will ensure that Nokia replaces your handset.

                                    File a lawsuit and seek damages. You will win.

                                    All the best in fighting this menace of Nokia incompetence.

                                      I am yet another customer, cheated and harassed by Nokia Care. Most of the other people are too busy to report such cases.

                                      I had submitted by Nokia 6210 handset for repair as three buttons were not working.
                                      Job Sheet Number: 67xxx4867/09xxx8/xx (Hidden for confidentiality)
                                      Date: 18-No-2009.
                                      Service Center: Akshay Care, Pune.

                                      Today is Dec-09-2009. It has been 6-7 calls to Akshay Care to check the status. But everytime they just have two answers:
                                      1) It has not been repaired. It'll take 2 more days.
                                      2) You can come after 2 days. (without checking that the handset is repaired or not)

                                      We made a few calls to the Nokia Careline Number as well[protected] and made a complaint as well (Complaint #:[protected]xxx) but even they dont seem to be of any help (though these people sound professional).

                                      Finally when I call them to get headoffice phone/fax/email, they say that they dont have it. all they can give you is careline fax number.

                                      My questions:
                                      1) How can the service center close the Job Sheet the same day as the handset was submitted to them? This can be verified easily by checking Job Sheet Status online.
                                      2) If this fraud was reported to Nokia as a complaint, arent they supposed to
                                      a) take strict measures against the service center.
                                      b) atleast inform (if not compensate) the customer about the updates.
                                      3) If due to any reason, the service center is not able to repair the phone, is there ANY limit on number of days, a customer should be kept waiting for his phone?

                                      I know other people as well who have had the same kind of issues with Akshay Care (if not all Nokia Care Centers).

                                        This is Samiksha Mehra from Mumbai... I have made this complain before to the online customer care unit of the company

                                        I bought the handset on 15th of October from a nokia priority dealer. To my horrors, exactly after a month that is on the 15th of Nov the mike stopped working. I gave it for repair to the nokia care center where I was told it will take 15 days for repair, however the date mentioned was of the 5th of dec, on questioning the same, i was ascertained, verbally though, that it would be done before 30th of nov. Realizing that I requested them for a stand by handset which I was provided after requesting for 45 mins, that again is of no use to me for despite charging the battery for 4 hrs continuously it runs out of juice on receiving call the first time.

                                        I was also told that data would not be restored and minor scratches on the surface should be considered post-repair.
                                        After all this, I am following up with the care center daily but to no avail. the only response i recieve from them is, "we are following up and shall call you in an hour's time." which never happens. its been over a month now.

                                        please look into this seriously.
